Colorado Destination Named The 'Most Beautiful Mountain Town' In America

Colorado is home to a host of eclectic small towns and popular big cities, but it also houses several of the most gorgeous mountain towns in the entire country, perfect for experiencing the natural beauty of the Centennial State.

LoveExploring compiled a list of the "most beautiful mountain towns" in America, scoring the destinations nestled along towering peaks around the country, from the ancient forests of the Appalachian Mountains to the stunning formations in the Rockies and everything in between.

Seven towns in Colorado made the list, including one that took the top spot: Aspen (No. 1), Telluride (No. 4), Crested Butte (No. 6), Estes Park (No. 11), Durango (No. 15), Ouray (No. 18) and Frisco (No. 21).
