Speaker 1 (02:17):
It's a nice, nice saturday out here. I will say this.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
I know it's getting getting better weather wise on the
east coast, but finally, I say today it looks the
part of what it should be, at least for the
moment here in LA. You know, the Sunshine state for taxes.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
How are you have you looked at the forecast this
next five six days?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I heard what seventy eighties eighty.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Bro, it's not a cloud in the sky. We could
see the birds flying up everywhere. Yeah, every man, eighty degrees, man.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Eighty plex man west coast, west, west coast, eighty plex.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Take that. Yeah, man, it's great. I'll say this. I
will say this.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
What else looks great is just the conversations and how
they are developing and kind of coming together.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
WHOA let me ask you guys this we just heard.
There's been so.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Many conversations taking place as it applies to you know,
Shador Sanders, Travis Hunter, and probably a lot of it
has to do with coach Dion Sanders, and we continue
to have the conversation as we move closer to the draft.
But here's what Dion Sanders, coach Prime, had to say
about Shador and Travis Hunter this past week.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
What let's let's take a listen.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Like I said, probably a year ago, they should be
going one two. That's the way I feel, and I'm
gonna stand by that. I think they're the two best
players in this draft. They're not a risk like Shador
has been doing it year at the year, at the
year at the year. Chao's land college football and this, this, this, this,
Travis ain't nobody like Travis. So the Sure's bets in
this draft. I'm not a bat man, I'm a godly man,

(04:06):
but the sure bets in this draft of those two
young men. And that instead of stabboring when I said that,
did I all right?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I think that he is a tremendous salesperson. I mean
he's always been been able to sell himself for one,
and then he's done an excellent job of being able
to sell you know this next generation of people connected
to I will say this, while while many can sit

(04:35):
there and maybe come with the conclusion or the argument
point that well, he's Shadore's dad, you know, Travis Hunter,
this that and the other, It's like, Okay, he's not delusional.
He's not delusional, because if he were delusional, then I
would say he would be saying the same thing.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
About Shiloh Fellas.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Like to me, I I think that he's basing what
he's saying purely off of what he believes what he's
seen in the body of work that has taken place. Now,
with that being said, that means he's saying that they're
safer picks than cam Ward.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
They're safer picks than Abdual Carter.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Do you guys tend to fall into the same You know,
what's your guys opinion on that?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Man?

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Listen, everybody's a safe pick until September come around, right.
You don't know, it isn't in exact science, but I
will say this, man, let's go with Travis Hunter first. Man.
When that dude was born, he was just blessed bro
with talent. Like watching him run route to the pro dain,

(05:47):
Travis Hunter can play man. Travis Hunter can play like
with no gloves on. That's number one. Then let me
put that out there. I can't wear gloves for like
my first four seasons, but he didn't have gloves on,
just catching it easy, real good feet. Route running is
really good. He's fast, he's explosive. Travis Hunter can play there.

(06:09):
There's no question about that. Chador When he went to
Jackson State and it was like, wow, Jackson State is winning.
And since all those guys left, Jackson State ain't winning
like that no more. But is it Shadoor or is
it all those guys? And so to me, when you

(06:33):
draft quarterbacks, they got it. Unless you are generational, you
got to be put in a good situation. And so
everybody wants to be drafted high. You want to be
drafted to dials.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Fall victim to go in to a S organization.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Oh yeah, for sure, I mean for sure, Like I
don't think people under look at Kaylor Williams. They said
he was general, yes, and that this last season was Lawrence.
They say they general. But so for me, if I'm
Diana should of course I want them to go one
and two. But more I want him to be putting

(07:13):
a good situation. And I don't know, man, I'm like,
one in two ain't a good situation. So I wouldn't
even want them to go one. One and two is
not a good situation. And so let those other fellas
go one into Let's get put in a good situation
and then in three or four years then I told
you so.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
I mean, I'm sitting here looking at the both of
these young men for the tenure in college and just
you know, evaluating of what I've seen them do on
television and watching them on film and on tape. I
agree with Deon sam As one hundred percent, but that
also goes with you know, what you need as an organization.

(07:53):
But you look at Travis huna Man and what he
was able to do in college. I'm sitting here looking
at some of these n This man adens like one
hundred and fifteen snaps in a football game fifty five
when I played fifty five sixty plays on offense, I
was spent, Like I'm tired, I'm ready to go home.

(08:14):
But I'm just you know, trying to put it all
together that this man gave out, this put out this
kind of effort and these kind of results. Are playing
basically the same amount of snaps on each side of.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
The football and was superb at it.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Not just okay, he was probably the greatest athlete in
college football this season. And I'm looking at what shador
going back to what TJ said he won winning with
the Jackson State. You expected him to go there the
winning at Jackie State because you're saying, Okay, he's not
playing he's not going to be playing against some of

(08:53):
that talent that he'll be playing against obviously in the
you know, big twelve, Pac ten or actually.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
See or whatever the case may be.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
But then he went to Colorado State, I mean Colorado
and he got better. So I'm just going off of
what I've seen forty one hundred touchdowns and forty some
touchdowns in a college football season. So when I hear
Deon Sanders say that these two guys are basically a
can't miss. We have seen guys and organizations miss with picks,

(09:25):
but based off what I've seen, I have to agree
with Deon Sanders and say that these two young men
are from you know, from the naked eye tells me
that they are the best two players in this draft
and they should go one and two. You know what,
Levari takes me back to two thousand because I don't

(09:47):
believe we had a one one A and a one B.
That's the way I saw it, because either you or
Courtney Brown, either one of you guys, we know that
he would first, but you could have been one two
based off of who needed what, and it's based off
of the same situations with your door, and and uh

(10:12):
and Travis Hunter.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
It's based off of what you need.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Let me ask you guys this, If Chador Sanders and
Travis Hunter were playing for another school, another team, and
and and say someone else was playing for Coach Prime,
would he say the same thing about Travis Hunter and
Shador Sanders if they were on another team?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
And absolutely, for sure, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Because if that's the If that's the case, then my
question is Dion Sanders is clearly someone who knows what
he's talking about.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
You think he don't he?

Speaker 6 (10:55):
Do you know Prime better than any of us because
you spent more time with him.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Yeah? Can you see Prime sitting.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
Up at a press conference and say, if Travis Hunter
was paying for another team, another school, and Shiloh was
a starting corner on his Colorado football team, do you
from an integrity standpoint from Deon Sanders because you see
him standing amongst this crowd of media and saying that

(11:24):
his son is a better cornerback than Travis Hunter.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
No, you see him. He would never do that, right,
I don't think he would. He would never do that.
I think he would try to find a.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Way to give his his children the best opportunity. I mean,
these aren't the first ones that have had the opportunity
to go pro. You know, people just now start paying
attention to Prime. But Prime has been doing this for
a long time. He guided Bucky all the way to
the league. And there ain't no way, no offense Bucky.

(11:55):
There ain't no way Bucky should have been a D
one player and been an had an opportunity to play
in the league.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
He's just too small. It just wasn't set up that way.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
But he played in the Under Armour All American Game,
he played at SMU and and he had a shot
at making it in the league. And that was to me,
that was all guided by Dion Sanders. Like that's not
that's not shade. I just think that that's what it was.
But you didn't hear anything about it, you know what

(12:25):
I mean. Like it wasn't making headlines like, oh, Dion
Sanders Junior, he's on his way to Da da DA,
He's doing this, He's doing that, He's all.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
You didn't hear that.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
It was quiet, And I think I think Prime has
a way of doing things where if he knows it's
a short shot because of what you guys said, because
of his reputation, because it means so much to him
to do it in a way that that he can
be proud of it because he is. He lives in

(12:55):
his his God fearing ways, he lives in. Looking at
it from a standpoint of while people think he's very
very arrogant or very self absorbed, he's actually such a
man of service, like a spiritual dude that is a
man of service, right, Like that's what he lives in.

(13:15):
So he would have found a way to maybe promote
his guys, But I don't think he would have did
it this way.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
I think he's hanging his hat on the.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Fact that I developed I developed one of them, but
the other one is somebody that I've been around since
he was a kid as well, and they are the best.
In my estimation, they are the best, and I think
he believes that. So I think it's a you know,
I think it's believable and I think it makes sense.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Is he better than cam Ward? Is he better than
Abdul Carter?

Speaker 3 (13:46):
If I'm being honest, After all of the pro days
fellas Ashton Genti to me is the biggest for sure
shot prospect going into the draft this year. To make
a difference. It's an impact immediately. Mark my words on that.
Ashton Genty, that dude is built to be able to

(14:08):
do some special things at the next level, and I
think to.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Do it before anybody else.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
I think he may have the most success out of
anybody else the quickest going into their rookie season. But
that's just my opinion on it. I mean, obviously I
would put Abdul Carter out of one A, one B
to that, and then the rest of them. I mean,
Cam Shador, I think that that's a toss up. It's
what you want. With Travis Hunter, I think he is,

(14:34):
by far, as you guys mentioned, the most dynamic player
in this draft, and I think that obviously the entertainment
element of it.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Is very valuable as well.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Right that the idea that Travis Hunter will bring attention
and media exposure and sell tickets more than probably any
other prospect in this draft. I wonder how much that
plays a part in it as well. But hey, this
is up on game. This is Fox Sports Radios, t
J Hitchman, Zada's Plexico Burst. I'm LeVar Arrington on the
other side of the break. While we're talking draft and

(15:08):
different things. You know, a big deal was done and
it was four quarterback. They agreed to an extension after
a trade. Does this shift how we're looking at the
pick that they have in the draft. We're going to
discuss that on the other side of the break. We'll
be right back.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Yeah, yeah, I ain't bring us back to the whole
billy ocean.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
That's a pretty good song. Hey, bruh.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Sometimes we got to bring them back in and groove them,
you know what I mean speaking of groove. And this
is up on game as t. J. Hitchman is out
as Plexico Burgs, I'm Leavar Arrington. We'll talk about well,
the latest on the Tush push. Obviously that's been a
hot topic in the news and in the media Competition

(16:18):
Committee meeting, coaches meeting, so we'll be sure to talk
about that. Also, make sure you check out Fox Sports

Sports Radio videos on YouTube. It's a great look, so
go check it out. Fellas I mentioned a signing that
took place. Obviously, Geno Smith was traded for and ends
up in Las Vegas with the Raiders. They just agreed
to a seventy five million dollar extension with Geno Smith.

(17:03):
It the way the contract and I know we love
disagreeing on how contracts are, but the way this contract
seems to kind of play out, it looks as though
it could be more of a one year like a
year to year deal, but it has a lot of guarantees,
it has incentives that can take the numbers up higher,

(17:25):
and it seems like it's at least two years that
they're really committed to seeing what Geno Smith can do. Now,
how do you guys interpret this seventy five million dollar extension?

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Do you look at it as.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
It's one hundred percent a bridge contract for Geno Smith
to connect the dots for this team in the initial
and mediate now to be a better team, but sets
the stage for another another player, another quarterback to be
being prepared or be you know, you're buying time time

(18:00):
to acquire a new quarterback. Do you think that this
is a deal that was done based upon them maybe
not thinking that this is a year to take a
quarterback in the draft it is to take Okay, let's go.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
They are not the Raiders will not draft a quarterback.
You look at Pete Carroll's history. He not drafting a
quarterback in the first round. That's just not gonna happen.
Pete Carroll is drafting somebody that plays defense in the
first round. He gonna draft the defensive player in the
first round. Who will be? I have no idea. I

(18:34):
believe Geno Smith's gonna be the quarterback for at least
the next two to three years there.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Gino Smith can play. He can play. Gino Smith can play. Yeah,
so he can play.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Is he a bridge quarterback? I guess you can say
he's a bridge quarterback. Who is he bridging it for?
We don't know who that guy is yet, But I
mean two years and seventy five million in the world
of quarterbacks, that's that Really, that's a great deal for
the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Yeah, that's a starter. The starters deal, right.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
I mean it's a low level, mid level type of
starters deal, and so that's a good deal for the
Raiders and Gino Smith didn't want to be in Seattle anymore.
Geno Smith wanted to be with Pete Carroll. He didn't
want to play with Seattle Seahawks. He wanted to play
for Pete Carroll. Pete Curroll resurrected Geno Smith's career, Yes,
he did. I believe he has an appreciation for that.

(19:24):
I believe he feels like he plays better with Pete
Currow as his head coach. He knows what Pete expects,
Pete knows how he's gonna play, and so I believe
it's a perfect match. And so it may be a
bridge situation because of Gino's age, but Gino's gonna be
the starting quarterback with the Raiders the next two or
three years unless he gets hurt.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
You know. I really believe that it's a good move
from Mark Davis in this organization all the way around.
I think the whole signing of Geno Smith fell completely
because of Pete Carroll. They want to win football games.
I don't believe Pete Carroll wanted to go into a
situation where you know, he was having some success in
Seattle and to go to the AFC and go to

(20:06):
the Raiders and be worse off than he was in Seattle.
So I think the signing of Gino Smith gives him
that immediate, you know, some consistent quarterback play at the position,
not just going into this year say oh, you know,
we're basically going to just you know, play this season,

(20:26):
see how it goes, and see if we can get
a quarterback next year or the year after in the draft.
This gives them the opportunity to win some games. Now
I'm not saying that they're going to go into the
AFC West and win the division and make the playoffs,
but he's the best available option that you have.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Right now in that quarterback room on that roster.

Speaker 6 (20:47):
And offensively, it comes down to getting the wide receivers
at the offensive line, tight end and running back. Everybody
on the same page. Because now Geno Smith going into
being at started quarterback of his team, he knows the offense.
So if there's not going to be any drop off

(21:07):
as far as you know, communication between him and Pete Curle,
they know exactly what they expect from each other and
I'm going to take it a step further. Man, I'm
looking at Geno Smith and I'm saying, dog this man
thin was forty three hundred yards last year in twenty
one touchdowns. Josh Allen was the MVP and his stats

(21:29):
so basically better than what Josh Allen bro. They know,
but nobody talks about Geno Smith because obviously he's in Seattle,
and just like you said, TJ, he has basically helped,
you know, you know, resurrect his career, so to speak.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
And he is very grateful for that.

Speaker 6 (21:46):
And the contract hit that that he has received, what
is it sixty six point five and guaranteed money. Man, Listen,
it's a great deal for him. He's going into a
situation where, you know, the defense should be a little
better and they will win some football games.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
But I don't.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
Expect them to come out of the gate and win
ten or twelve games playing in the AFC West, because
I think when it comes down to it, they're going
to be still be fighting for last, but it won't
be you know, three and fourteen or four and thirteen.
I believe that they can at least win eight to
nine football games a little bit.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
That's a tough division too, that division or the top division.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Yeah, let me throw this one out at you before
we get to the update, because I just find it.
I brought up Ashton gent before we went to the break,
last last segment, and we have these conversations because it's
all based off of quarterback conversation. They drive the needle.
People pay attention to it. It's the polarizing topics to

(22:48):
talk about. But there was a time where running backs
would go into number one, two, three, four in drafts.
And I look at this, I look at this ten
See Titans team, and if I were to say one
player that could improve them right.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Out the gate would be Ashton Genty.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
And I just wondered, like after the season that that
Sakuon Barkley had. While they may have have started to
undervalue and and devalue the running backs position, it's still
nonetheless one of the most important pieces and keys to.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
A team being able to win.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Will Levis, if Will Levis has a.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
A running back, a true running back, I mean.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
He's got Berks, he's got Calvin Ridley, He's got he's
got Van Jefferson.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
He's not he's not bad on the outsides. He's not.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
It is not a bad group of guys on the outside.
If you have that balance of the run, and you
can combine that with someone like Will Levis, you take
the pressure off of them. It would be no different
than what we're saying about a rock Party or some
of these other quarterbacks that have the ability. I mean, hell,

(24:06):
Jalen Hurts, right, I mean, why is that not more
of a conversation in y'all's opinion? I mean, am I
off on that? Am I wrong for thinking that? Because
we're saying Ashton Genty is a generational tailback.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Look at his body of work.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
We haven't seen the likes of the things he's done
since guys like Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson. Like, if
we're being real, the comps are in those conversations with
those types of players. If you're looking at a player,
say Kwon Barkley, if you're looking at a player that
has that type of talent and potential, why would you
not have Why is that not even a conversation at

(24:44):
this point, Fellas?

Speaker 5 (24:46):
I mean, it's possible that Ashton gent is drafted by
the Raiders. It's possible Pete Kerr wants to run a
ball and play great defense. Very possible. And if he isn't,
I believe he's going to go in the top ten anyway.
But Pete Kerr was a defensive coach that that's what
he believes in, and so I just really foresee him

(25:07):
drafting a defensive player in the top ten that can
be a difference maker. You already have Max Crosby your secondary.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
It's good.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
Well, you got a ball hawk back there like Jack Jones,
you got Christian Wilkins. They got guys up front, Malcolm Coons,
they got dudes. And then if you can add another
dude to that, I believe Pete Carroll, we can probably
find a really good back in the second round. But
I could see that happening. I'm just looking at Pete
Carroll's history.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
So you think it's like more of a Mason Graham
type of deal. That's Kylie Kid too, right, isn't he
from guys top Warner?

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (25:48):
You know what, it all comes down to what you want, man,
and do what you need. And we've seen it countless times.
I can remember two running backs vividly right in that
and I just said that Edgin and James and Ricky Williams,
those two guys in the same draft, and the guy
that threw a whole entire draft off in two thousand

(26:12):
with the fifth pick, who was that of got got
drafted to the Baltimore Ravens at five Jamal Luis Buddy
when he went five throughout the whole draft, and everybody
was just scrambling because he came out of nowhere. So
it all comes down to what you need.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
And he played a major that year, the.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Super Bowl year, that season.

Speaker 6 (26:41):
So with that being said, I'm looking at we just
had the segment earlier, Shador and Travis Hunter going one
and two.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
I think that's the worst possible position.

Speaker 6 (26:53):
For the New York Johns to be in because now
you're looking at a situation where you have abdu Carter there,
you have cam Ward, and you need somebody to come
in and add a spark to this offense. And it's
the worst possible position for them to be in if
those two guys go one and two.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
But going back to Genty, I.

Speaker 6 (27:14):
Could see I could see my man if he had,
if he has it to be able to do it.
Mike Vrabel at four to take Ashton Genty to be
a New England pater because you know why he wants
to pay a physical brand of football defensively. I've played
with him. He's intelligent. He's going to go to New England.

(27:37):
He's gonna runner three four coach and the Dick Larbow.
And he was doing a hell of a job when
he was in Tennessee. The man didn't make the playoffs
one season and.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
They fired him. He's a great coach.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Look at who he brought in as a running back.
He exactly built his offense around the running back exactly.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
That's what he wants to do.

Speaker 6 (27:54):
So I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Vrabel comes out
of you know, he steps out aside of the box
and take asking Genti at.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Full Calm to chaos with shipping software that delivers use
code sports for free troal at shipstation dot com. That's
shipstation dot com code Sports. Let's get an update from
Ilow and then on the other side of the update,
we'll talk a little bit of Tush push Sea. Where
the guys are at on that what you got.

Speaker 7 (28:21):
Ilo LaVar I got the Basketball Hall of Fame Class
of twenty twenty five. The full class officially announced a
short time ago, consisting of Carmelo, Anthony, Dwight Howard, Billy Donovan,
Sue Bird, Maya Moore, Sylvia Foles, referee Danny Crawford, Miami
Heat owner Mickey Arrison, and the two thousand and eight

(28:42):
US Olympic men's basketball team. Again, that's the complete Basketball
Hall of Fame class of twenty twenty five. Then tonight,
the Final Four tips off from San Antonio.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Oh go ahad Santa Antonio. Autum up big old with
me in San Antonio.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
Thank you for sharing that, Charles. It starts at six
oh nine Eastern with the first national semi final between
Florida and Auburn. That at eight forty nine Eastern, Houston
takes on Duke and the women's Final Four. On Friday night,
South Carolina defeated Texas seventy four to fifty seven, and
then Yukon beat UCLA eighty five to fifty one. So
it'll be South Carolina against Yukon for the national championship

(29:18):
tomorrow at three pm Eastern.

Speaker 6 (29:20):
Guys, right, I just want to say a man's on
something I just realized. And it's no disrespect to you know, women,
but playing basketball, but I think I just realized that
that women are elected to the Basketball.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Hall of Fame. In a hole. I thought that they
had their own Hall of Fame. No, I did this
all together. Yes, it's all together.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
In fact, in fact, college, college and pro is all together.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
For I wish that was the case for for football,
because I wish it was the case for football.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
But they had pressed everybody in that mellow everybody shots out.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah. You know what's crazy though.

Speaker 5 (30:14):
People forget that Dwight Howard was the mono with the.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Magic bro He was a animal. People forget how good
Dwight Howard.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Was when he was with the Orlando Magic Man.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
That dude was a monster. Yes he was.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Yes, he was pulled out the Superman cape on him.
So before we get to and congratulations again to those guys. Uh,
and shots out to Iceman by the way. Uh, I'll
be your huckleberry.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
By the way, just send out a shot to a
shout out to Val Kilmer and his family on his
his untimely passing. That's that's sad news. But that's always
been my guy from Tombstone. Like I always said, I was,
I was, you know, I was not the white type.
I didn't not want to be the captain or be
everybody's you know, upfront person. I just wanted to be
that dude that come up from behind like I got

(31:06):
your t J, I got you Plex, I'm gonna be
I'll be your huckleberry like you y'all step aside. I'm
gonna go ahead and jump in on this one. Like
but shots out to him because he definitely had me
turned up a whole lot of times watching Tombstone. So
Zeptin prayers to his family before we get to the break.
NFL Touch Push fellas the band has been a large topic,

(31:28):
but it has been tabled for a later date, just
super quickly. Why do you guys think it's taking so long?
Do you think that it's gaining more momentum and it's
gonna end up being being done away with? Or do
you see that? Because I think pushing and pulling all
together should be done away with. If you're gonna do
away with the touch push, then do away with all

(31:49):
pushing and pulling of players on the field. If you're
not gonna do that, then we need to touch push.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
What do you mean what do you mean by what
do you mean by that the offensive lineman just pulls
them forward for three more yards?

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Yes, it should be all done away with because to me, that,
to me, is more dangerous than even the tush push.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Like a guy's running the ball his fullward progresses stop.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Yards Hell yeah, and they give them and that's like
it's legal to do it now, it's legal to do
How about this?

Speaker 1 (32:21):
How about this? Let's take a break because.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
I want you to have I want you to have
the amount of time to give this some some conversation.
Will we'll take this into the next segment and we're
gonna talk what like what you guys think about this,
like how should it be handled?

Speaker 1 (32:39):
All right? This TJ. Hitchman's plexicoburts. I'm LeVar Arrington.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
This is up on Game and we'll also if we
have enough time in this last segment, I kind of
want to touch on what took place in Dallas. Uh
is this is this some handwriting on the wall? Is
this pressure? Is this is this compete you know for
Dak Prescott. We'll talk about that as well. Too's up
on Game Fox Sports Radio. We'll be right back. All right,

(33:05):
all right, welcome back in. It's up on Game. We
are live from the tyrack dot Com studios, the st
J Hitchmanzada Splex, Coo, Burst, LeVar Arrington our two. We
have Cuffs, the legend from some dude show coming on.
We'll talk some basketball. He has some outrageous claims, I mean,
some of his plans. Man, I'll tell you what he

(33:29):
is redefining NBA insiders crashing out. I thought it was
stephen A, but it might be Cuffs. We'll get to
him in a couple of minutes. But fellas, before we
get to the break, I want to talk to you
guys about Okay, finish the.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
The x U. What is it?

Speaker 3 (33:46):
I'm looking for the discussion point of the touch push
and I did mention Joe Milton. I want to pay
off on that teaser. Joe Milton is brought in as
the backup. Trey Lance is out. Joe Milton. If you
know who Joe Milton is, dude is a stone cold
baller six six, got a howlitzer arm, can get get
it done. I wonder if they brought him in for

(34:08):
for competition or just to be a backup. All right,
touch push, what happens?

Speaker 6 (34:12):
Yeah, let me get to this touch push right quick? Listen,
yep uh, I don't agree with it. I believe it
should stay. You know in this you know, in this league,
in this game, man, it's all about getting the edge.
And they found then the edge to win football games. And
it's a touch push and they're mad because one they
can't stop it. Now they have to waste valuable time.

(34:34):
I'm preparing for something that that actually wins football games
for them, and I can break it down to you
like this. I want everybody listening to what I'm gonna say.
So you can put myself in LeVar Arrington in a kitchen,
and you can give us the same recipe, same pots
and pans, same spices and assets to.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Make the same dish.

Speaker 6 (34:54):
It's still gonna taste d and my dish is going
to come out superbly better, big, because you can give
somebody a recipe superbly better, superbly better. You can get
somebody the same recipe, same spices, same pots and pans.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
But you know why my dish is always gonna taste better.

Speaker 6 (35:14):
You know why it's gonna always taste better because it
comes down to execution.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Oh gosh, that is what it is.

Speaker 6 (35:21):
So if you can basically, you know, visualize what I
just said, you can give it. You can give somebody
a recipe, but it's not gonna come out as good
as mine or somebody else's because it comes down to execute.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
You better stick to them smoothies. Players. What you think?
What you think? Bro?

Speaker 5 (35:43):
This it's kind of soft man number one, the Green
Bay Packers, y'all soft as hell? Oh soft ass is
gonna put a proposal out to stop the push push
because they beat y'all twice.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Stop it that stopping like that?

Speaker 5 (35:58):
Man, That stuff is so weak because the Eagles do
it better than everybody else. If it was that easy,
y'all would do it. And y'all tried it and you can't.
And I'm talking about all the people and teams that
voted to ban it, like you got to be kidding
me that because y'all can't stop the Eagles tous push

(36:20):
or why I'm not even calling the tous push, I'm
calling it the quarterback sneak that Now you want it banned?

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Oh? Player safety? Really? Player safety? Really? Now?

Speaker 5 (36:32):
Now we're gonna put it on player safety. Really, y'all
you care about player safety now?

Speaker 1 (36:37):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (36:37):
Okay, no, no, no, no, no, you can't stop it.
The Eagles do it better than every everybody else, So
now you want to complain and get it banned. Oh,
player safety, it's an unsafe play. Blob stop it, y'all
soft like that. So do you think all the organization

(36:58):
has gotten together? Is that y'all want to join me
on this? Do you guarantee the teams that.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
The you can't stop them either? John, John, y'all can't
stop them either. Steve, Come on, man, you guys can't
stop majority.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
I guarantee you the majority of the teams in the
NFC voted to bandit, minus the guys that have coached
in Philly.

Speaker 6 (37:19):
You know what, Speaking of Steve, there was a quarterback
that used to push in the end zone and you
didn't have to use his toush and it was unstoppable.
And his name just happened to be Steve McNair. You
couldn't stop him on the one you think nobody to
push him.

Speaker 5 (37:38):
I can't believe safety that this is up, like I
couldn't believe it. Like they're really trying to get this
band like.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
You don't think it wins the games either, By the way,
I do not think that absolutely.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Your The biggest problem was do not run enough for
you are in a fourth and inches situation. Yes, you
guarantee first three, guaranty first down.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Okay, but you don't need points. But now you're making
my point. You are making my point.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
No, get you.

Speaker 6 (38:08):
You don't need points to win the game, but you
can get a fourth and one or fourth if you
have clock out to win a football game.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
You everywhere that start, everybody starts at at least first
in five.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Hey, they're mad. Starts at at least first.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
Mad because if they're putting a fourth and one situation
and the game is on the line, not on the
goal line, just in play two, and they need a
first down to basically win the game and run the
clock out.

Speaker 1 (38:36):
So now, defensively, what do you bring on the football.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
Fow but how many times again, how many times does
it take? How many players does it take to get
into a fourth in short situation to get into a third?

Speaker 1 (38:48):
And this is why they this is why they're mad.
Play defense, play defense. Everybody's trying. I'll tell you what
if you.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Don't want them to get into a situation where it's
players safety involved, which that's what everybody.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
Wants to lean on, mental health and.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Player player safety, get out of here with that. Let
me tell you something. Don't let them get to fourth
and one. Don't let them get to thirty. You can
let them get to one. Stop it, let them get
to it. You can let them get stop it if
you since we can't stop that play, it's an unstoppable play.
Since no one, don't let them. Don't let them get.

Speaker 1 (39:22):
Do I do something better than you? And you want it?
Man Like?

Speaker 5 (39:26):
Since when does that hot? Because I do it better
than you, you jump hard me, you can't dunk. I
just know if you you run fast, you can't throw.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
I mean, I just don't slap the side of people's
air holes better than anybody else, uh.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
Mel, for real healthy safety. He closed people.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
Better than everybody else, and they felt like they needed
to get rid of that.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
Those things are the same, Those aren't comparable. Those aren't comparable.
Head slap and that's not comparable. This is a They've
been doing a quarterback sneak for years, but it was just.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
Always All I know is you should in the ends
able to run up on somebody and push them in
the back and pull them and push him, pull them that.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
I don't like it. I ain't really for Green Bay
no more. They soft.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
I'll never root for green Bay to win that old
soft ass stuff.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
They doing well Dallas.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
Apparently you guys aren't very relevant because we didn't get
to the conversation between Joe Milton and Dak Prescott.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
But you know what, hey, that is playing the hits.
We didn't need it.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
You know what we need cuffs, the legend, and a break.
