all time is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented
(00:32):
by bet mg app. Now we're live from your tailgame.
Here's Brian no Hire, NFL Better and Jeff Schwartz and
Professional sports better Bill crack Crackenberger.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
Oh, good morning, welcome in week seven year before we
get all into the college football recap and the game
in London as the Patriots are ahead seven nothing in
what will officially be the pink slip for Doug Peterson
if the score holds.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
I was thinking about our three teams, three teams, Jeff,
your Ducks one on Friday, my Irish one on Saturday,
and I started thinking about your team, Crack, which is
your bank roll? Of course, has your bank roll done
well so far? This weekend?
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Yeah? This this week, This week's a losing week. So
far always always very transparent. Uh been on a roll
really since week one preseason? Yeah, have not not having
a good week so far. Come down for you unit.
It's not like you know, four units, but I have
at least tripled that many units in play and props alone.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Time here you you you sent us those props. I
appreciate that. I was, like I was. I picked my
wife for from the Morgan Wallen concert last night at
like eleven eleven thirty. Yeah, Eastern, I'm watching like some
Utah football last night, entering in props at midnight last
night to head into today.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I'm your phone left right, I'm not bothering that.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
No, my phone's always on silence. And then I did
put my phone on do not disturbed because it kept
lighting up from not just from you, but other people
text about Utah last night in a sticky performance. But guys,
I don't know about you. I'm rooting for number one
team in the country and it feels mighty high to
be rooting for that team, the Oregon Ducks. So it
will be number one.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Brian.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
After Georgia last night, I'll tell you what. A couple
of weeks ago, Georgia loses to Alabama. Georgia got out
to plus six point fifty to the national championship. Guests,
who took Georgia plus six fifty to win national championship?
This guy did because that was ridiculous. And now obviously
the number is gonna come way down, guys. It's a
(02:44):
long it's a twelve team playoff. I find myself rooting
in college football this year and viewing the sport a
little differently, Brian, where obviously my team's really good, organ
but I was watching that Purdue game. I was thinking about,
you know, sort of the the mentality of that. And
when I watch the NFL, I'm a Chiefs fan, but
just in general, your Dolphins fan cracks a bankroll fan.
(03:06):
But when you're an NFL fan, wins and losses are
are important, but not the bl end, all right, It's
more about where getting the postseason. Just sort of get
in and figure it out when you get in, and
a loss or too doesn't kill you, right, you know,
the best team NFL goes thirteen to four to give
a season. A playoff team could lose seven or eight
games and be a playoff team. And I found myself
(03:27):
now that there's a twelve team playoff rooting from my
team differently, because now in previous years you had to
beat Purdue forty nine nothing to make a statement. Not anymore,
win by one point. Who cares? Just win the game,
because guess what twelve team playoffs. Twelve teams get in.
Organ's one of the best teams, you know, notre name.
I think it's gonna be a playoff team. If they
(03:47):
went out, then they have what do you have? Usc
is your toughest scheme? I think USA they got y oh,
you're right, Army. Navy, by the way, Navy yesterday put
I mean maybe that was a spot where prime look
head spot right, You're at Notre Dame the next weekend
and you put up fifty one point on Charlotte in
like eight drives. It was their offense is here. They
(04:10):
throw the ball now. By the way, for those who
haven't watched Navy, they're like a multipurposed offense, still under center,
still running the triple option, but they throw the ball
a lot. Now. Armia defeated as well, So I find
myself rooting viewing college trooball differently. I don't think a
twelve team play ifs is necessarily needed, but it does
change and Georgia get at the six fifty. Brian was crazy,
George's gonna be a playoff team. They're gonna be the
(04:32):
favorite them Ohio State, Oregon. Like, I don't think, I
actually think I might snack up Texas. I'm curious what
Texas reopens up at to win the championship. One game
now does not define your season.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
Man, Georgia did look good last night. They really did.
And I love Kirk after the game where he was like,
and they tried to they tried to take it from us,
they tried to steal it.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
I've never seen that in my life. I I for
those who might have missed it, I don't know what
you're doing last night, hanging with your family. Come on.
There was a pass interference that was called on a
Texas interception and Texas would turn the ball I think
deep in a Georgia territory after the interception, and I
was actually listening on the radio. I was driving for
(05:13):
a while. I think I was taking the kids to
Morgan Wall. I don't know what I was doing, and
I'm listening to the radio and I kind of like
tuned it out for a few minutes and like seven
minutes later, they're still talking about on the radio, like,
what is happening right now? Come to find out that
because Texas fans threw bottles on the field, there was
a delay of game, and in the delay they determined
(05:37):
to pass interference that happened on the play they took
away the interception was not a pass interference. Now, that
might have been the right call, guys, but that's not
the way this works. There's no review process for pass
interference in college football. Yeah, there's a sky judge, sure,
but they're not supposed to overrule. This is not a
reviewable play, guys. They cannot overrule this. They cannot go
(06:00):
back in undo a pass interfear, especially like seven minutes
after it happened, and I was I was in shocked.
I did this and crack. I know, we all three
of us don't don't agree games are fixed, right, but
if you think games are fixed, it's a great example
for a crack.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
I even got a text on it. Someone actually texted
me and said, do you believe what just happened? Of course,
I actually wasn't in front of me watch yet, but
I do. I do watch some major games, and if
I'm here I will, but I was out, probably having
a meal or something. But when it happened, I was.
I was in a restaurant and I got the text
and I was like, wow, and uh, you know, but
I do know what happened. I've seen the highlights of
(06:38):
the game, and I seen arch Manning there coming for
once a little bit, a couple of drives, just just
just serious. But it was another game with like playoff atmosphere.
So uh. And again I do think both of these
teams will end up in the tournament and possibly even
have a rematch here. So but I did hear about
that BS review and I was like, that doesn't happen.
(06:59):
So like you said, you were, you were with your
family too though, right you were in the car or
something you said I was. I was.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
I basically turned into a chauffeur last night where I
drove my my wife, my son. Well, Friday night, I
drove nowhere to the concert. My daughter went to the
concert with some with a friend. I picked them up
at eleven o'clock. And then last night I drove my
wife and son and a friend to the concert they
(07:25):
went last night and I picked my son up who
wanted to leave early. Because he didn't. He was tired
and like not a fan of Morgan Walling. I guess
I picked him up, drove him home, then picked went
back with my wife up and our friend. And I'm
a taxi cab service, correct. All I do all day
is drive my kids to sports and drive my wife
around the city. I looked close to the stadium though
it's like twelve minutes. It's not a big wow. So yeah,
(07:48):
but uh they yeah big uh big Morgan Morgan Walling fans.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
I guess, by the way, how about uh Bama goes
down again? Bama? Yikes?
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, you know, I watched a lot of kid in
the Born the last couple of years, and I think
he's a really good coach still. But I took Tennessee
to cover this game, and I didn't wager on either
of the game. I didn't wait. I thought George, I
thought Texas was gonna win by touchdown that didn't happen.
I thought Tennessee would would at least cover the games
I was. I was one for one of the big games.
I didn't. I didn't bet any of them. Is that like,
(08:20):
I think he's not like a yeller and screamer, which
is fine. I don't think hen deaborious. You don't have
to be yelling and screamer to be good coach.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
Unless they don't allow you to fake an injury. And
he's completely ticked off about that. But yes, other than that, you're.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Right, but you But I think like that job requires
kind of a psycho, like like Kirby Smart's a psycho. Okay,
I think Dan Lanning is a complete psycho. Org yes,
like I think, well, Kenny Dilliham is a separate psycho.
But yes, are you trying? Are you trying out for?
Speaker 6 (08:56):
For?
Speaker 1 (08:56):
They guess you kick your job here, Brian, if I
could kick for those who missed it. Arizona State has
badkicking problems, and their coach went up to the podium
yesterday and said that there's open tryouts on Monday for
a kicker on campus. Anyone show up and try to
kick the ball. I don't know if Calen de Boor
is like psycho enough to win in Alabama, if that
makes sense, because Dabble's a psycho. Clubs it like these guys,
(09:20):
and I'm curious how he adapts his coaching style he
can win. We know he's a really good coach. Guys.
I'm not debating why he's a good coach or not,
but I think there's a little bit of that job
where you have to be a little bit nuts intense
and foam with the mouth, and it's not who he is.
And he's have to learn to be a different coach
at Alabama than he was previously at Washington or Fresno
(09:43):
or Sue Falls. And it takes some time, it certainly will.
But they allowed twenty four second half points. I mean,
Tennessee could not move the ball at all. Tennessee has
had trouble moving at the ball. I mean, do you
remember they played a game this year against Kent State.
It was seventy one nothing where they was talking about
like a mercy rule because they scored sixty six first
half points. Sixty five I'm looking around sixty five a
(10:03):
half time. And now Tennessee has not scored a point
in the first half and three straight games and Alabama
still could not finish that game at Tennessee. So the
one thing I take away from the season so far, Brian,
before we get back to the NFL, is there's a
lot of flawed teams. There's not a Georgia, a twenty
one Georgia. Right, there's like not a team right now
I think that is a quote unquote favorite to win.
(10:27):
There might be a team with the best odds to win,
but as far as like, okay, I think this team
can win three playoff games in a row. I mean
Georgia can do it. I mean Texas can do it.
I think Ohio State can do it. I think Oregon
can do it. That's probably where my list stops to
be fair. But if Alabama just had a three games
straight before they had four game but four game stretch
Brian where they just play out of their mind, it
(10:47):
absolutely win the championship. Yeah, there's there's not, there's not.
It's gonna be fun. But I still think there's only
like four teams that can win.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
Yeah, just Bama is just so undisciplined right now. The
peats that we see from which wasn't.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
A problem at George Washington last season.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
For Kide absolutely noting.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
That this time of the year either Alabama with two losses.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
So no in the way to the way it happens.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yeah, they still can get force in the playoffs, especially
they run the table, so.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
It's gonna be playoffs.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah, the playoffs can be interesting because the Big Twelve
is kind of nuts and there could be there could
be multiple playoff teams in the Big twelve if people
view the Big Twelve as like a power to conference,
right Brian, because you look at BYU's undefeated right now,
Kansas State has one loss, Iowa State has no losses,
so by Iowa State both undefeated, and then you have
(11:37):
you have Colorado, by the way, five and two kind
of hanging out right now. Colorado is a great example
of of of saturation in the market because and how
that affects the way we talk about teams because Colorado
is legitimately doing some good stuff. Guys, like they're playing
good football right now, but we have talked about them
so much when they were not good that people are
(12:00):
over discussed in Colorado. Like they're like they they went
on the road and beat Arizona bad, they beat UCF
on the road bad, Like they have a three point
loss in Kansas State, Like they are they're playing good
football right now. But we've out talked ourselves on Colorado,
Like if we just sort of stated with that energy
that people wanted to crown them after last season and
just sort of just wait till now to do it.
(12:21):
They be getting so much love, but we don't do
that because people are tired. We're so over chattered with
Colorado stuff.
Speaker 5 (12:28):
Yeah, no, it's true, and you're right. They are playing
some good football. Travis Hunter, he didn't play the second
half nursing that shoulder injury. But think about that, He's
gonna be one of the top picks in the NFL draft.
Heisman finalist. You know, some people think you should win
the award. And he didn't play the second half and
they still bout raised Arizona.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
They are playing Arizona.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
Rough rough year, and still they get beaten down like that.
A wow.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
And Travis Hunter, he was a very much a decoy yesterday.
I was watching, especially the early part of that game.
He just was running like se five percent speed.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
And by the way, that would have been a great bet.
Where his receiving yards somewhere around like one hundred and
a half. He had like two catches for seventeen yards.
The under would have been a great great.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
But I last comming this game, i'd Colorado over twenty
seven and a half points is one of my best
bets on my podcast, and that won the first half
but after the score in the first drive, like super easily,
I took an alternate number over thirty three and a
half and they did points. No, they got thirty four,
but they only scored six second half points. They had
twenty eight first half points.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
It's that crazy.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
And I needed a field goal with four minutes left,
thirty four points.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
He cashed it got there, doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
I had an interesting, culturable all day, so it was.
It was fun.
Speaker 5 (13:45):

We've got the Patriots ahead ten to nothing against Jacksonville.
How about the Jacksonville steam before this game got all
the way to minus seven for Jacksonville. Yeah, if you.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Put your money on Jacksonvill today, that's a new problem though.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
That's yeah, yeah, that would qualify right there. We've got
Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com, sports handicapper Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian now coming up next
our main man, Christian Cipolini from BEDMGM. He'll preview week seven,
get you all the goodies. In terms of what BETMGM
(14:47):
is needing today, valuable information, we'll get that from him.
Coming up, it's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented

places an NFL wager on a first touchdown score bet
and he doesn't score first, but score second, BETMGM will

(15:32):
How about this Jacksonville finally on the board. They score
a touchdown, easy touchdown reception by Brian Thomas Junior, and
Jacksonville now trails ten to seven against the Patriots in London.
With that, let's dive into.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
This follow the money, real good money, all right.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
Christian Sippalini, our good friend from BEDMGM trading manager joins
us here a Christian, good morning to you. You know,
how about this Steam with Jacksonville got all the way
up to a seven point favorite. How much of the
handle are we looking at percentage wise on Jacksonville in
this one as the Patriots have the lead right now.
Speaker 6 (16:13):
Yeah, we're liking what this score is right now because
with that Steam came most of our best on to Jacksonville,
which seemed to be expected to even know they're both
one and five teams. I think Jacksonville, as you see
by the seven point spread, as the better team on paper.
We took a lot of Patriots bets though, so we're
hoping this outcome hold that touched on a second ago
we didn't like. We're hoping Pats can get a little more.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Maybe the game of the day, Superowl rematch Niners and Chiefs.
Number has kind of been moving between one and two
for the Niners. The Chiefs and Mahomes cover a lot
of games when they're when they're dogs. Where's the money
in this one?
Speaker 6 (16:51):
Yeah, that that line of thinking is certainly out because
we've taken a good amount of chief spets as of
right now. We were in for the forty nine Ers,
which I think a little bit somewhat surprising at home,
I mean Super Bowl rematch. I guess you could go
either way. Right now we're taking more Chiefs bets.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
So Christian, good morning. We get a early morning sportsbook
Insights by John Ewing. John Ewing, and he sent us this,
and I want to just see if this is still
the case here with Bett MGM the most bet teams,
the most amount have tickets bet by the public, and
then the Handle which is also up in the top
(17:28):
three here the Lions. You know, I haven't met one
person yet that likes the Minnesota Vikings this week? So
is that one of the heaviliest bet games your guys
are going to be rooted for Minnesota today? Is that's
still the case.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
Yeah, That's been the case this entire season. The Lions
have been the darling of taking bets, so I mean,
I'm sure for us a lot of that just comes
from Michigan betters. Our futures market lines are a worse outcome.
They've been a worse outcome throughout the summer. We continue
to still take bets on them. This line was it
(18:02):
two and a half at one point, but again we've
taken majority lines bets on this. As you've said, you
haven't seen a lot of people talking Bikings. I haven't
seen a lot of people betting the Vikings. So we'll
be rooting for those likings as a book, but it's
been onlines, Betsy.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
How about outside of the one way traffic, Christian, where
you think about all this money coming in on the rams,
all the money coming in on the Commanders. Is there
anything beyond those obvious ones where it's a need for
bet MGM today that you'd like to see a certain
team winner cover.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
When when I get to the closer spreads like the
ones within three, the Giants will be a big one
for us this week. We've taken a good amount of
Eagles bets. Somewhat surprised we talked about the Giants last
week with getting neighbors back, I thought we might see
a little bit more, but as of right now, that's
that's one of the closer spreads. Will it'd be nice
and we can get a Giants win.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
There a lot of high totals today, some of these
games being played inside and what not. Minnesota, Detroit, in
Seattle and Atlanta. Are you seeing anyone willing to take
the under in those games? Are you seeing pretty much
over money in those those dome games with good offenses.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
Yeah, even with those high totals all those games, they're
still getting hit over lives. Vikings are a good one
that has a very high total, but we're taking nothing
but over bets, especially with the fact that they scored
what was a forty nine on their own last week
total fifty and a half right now, So I think
people think that Detroit could do it on their own
if they wanted to. I mean, in general, now, even
(19:33):
if we were taken under his bets with all these sgps,
I'd always prefer less touchdouts and less points at this
point because we don't want any of those crazy ones
hitting like we saw last week in Detroit with basically
all their skilled players scoring touchdowns.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
Christian. I had to do something yesterday very rarely have
to do and I hate to do. I had to
go down and put money in my bet MGM account. God,
it's been a good season, like a decent season, and
then all of a sudden last week. Boy, really usually
when the bookmakers are hurting, I'm hurting. So I know
Week sixer, that was a rough week. Looking looking at
tomorrow night's card Arizona Chargers, Baltimore, Tampa Bay anything earlier
(20:12):
you'll get most of your and even tonight Pittsburgh Jets.
These primetime games not the prettiest kind of prime time games.
No real I guess maybe Baltimore Tampa, but no real
big names in these In these three games, any action yet,
I guess you'll expect it more towards game time.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
Yeah, with those, I mean we'll expect it more towards
game time. I know that Chargers line has come down
a bit. It was that two and a half, so
we saw a little bit there. We have taken more
Jets action in tonight's game. A lot of that probably
stems just from people being excited with DeVante Adams, so
we'll definitely want the feelers in that one. At a
(20:49):
very low total as well, will want that to stay under.
I think tomorrow's Ravens Bucks matchups is one that could
be potentially troubling for the book because I expect to
see a lot of points in that one prime time
games with a lot of points and a lot of
touchdown scores, it's not good for the book.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Sure.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
Yeah, well, hey Christian, great stuff as always. Man, I
hope you have a good day and we'll catch you soon.
Speaker 6 (21:13):
Good luck everyone, this week's two.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
There you go, there's Christian Cippolini bet MGM Trading Manager. Yeah,
that's a great statement at the end. Think about that too, crack.
You talk about it all the time where maybe Monday
night rolls around. Uh if anybody out there is a
little bit under the number, right, you try to win
it back on Monday night and potential shootout with the
Ravens in Tampa. You can imagine the number of bets
(21:38):
for anytime, touchdowns and all that. So yeah, the bookmakers,
I can see them like bracing for impact when there's
a scenario like that. I like that statement at the end.
How about we go from heavy hitter to heavy hitter,
we go from Christian Cipolini to our main man, Isaac
Loewenkron with the latest what's going on? I love good.
Speaker 7 (21:57):
Morning fellas, and it's always wonderful to talk about live
foot action, even if it is the Jaguars and the
Patriots right now at Weveley Stadium in London, the two
one in five teams having added and the Patriots have
a ten to seven lead over Jacksonville with seven or
nine left in the second quarter. Patriots built a ten
to dozing lead on a sixteen yard touchdown pass from
Drake May to Jamichael Hasty, then added a field goal,
(22:19):
but then the Jaguars got on the board.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
Jock gun for Trevor three of the right. They're all
bunched there.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
One to the left is Gabe Davis.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Trevor drops looking looking fires toward the goal line up
over the pot for the touchdown.
Speaker 7 (22:33):
Bryan Thomas Junior for the score. Frank Frangie the call
on w j XL. Lawrence six of seven for sixty
four yards, Drake May eleven of fourteen for ninety four
yards and again the Patriots a ten to seven lead
over Jacksonville with seven to nine left play in the
second quarter. One other note, Jacksonville left tackle Cam Robinson
(22:54):
ruled out due to a concussion. New York Jets pass
rusher Hassan Raddick has ended his out. According to his
new agent, Reddicks agreed to a reworked short term contract.
He's now expected to report to the Jets on Monday.
In Game five of the American League Championship Series on
Saturday night, Juan Soto's three run home run with two
outs of the top of the tenth inning gave the
(23:14):
New York Yankees a five to two victory at Cleveland
to win the American League pennant four games to one,
their forty first pennant, their first in fifteen years. And
in college football on Saturday night, fifth rank Georgia what
at number one Texas thirty to fifteen? Guys, All yours,
thank you?
Speaker 5 (23:31):
I Low. It is Fox Sports Radio's Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by BETMGM. Let's dive into this little live betting fellas,
shall we We've got the game in Wembley or in London?
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Right?
Speaker 5 (23:45):
Is it Wembley? They're at Wembley, aren't they think? I
always get it mixed up? Where there are in London? There,
but they're across the ponds. There you go ten to
seven lead by the Patriots right now, and I don't know, crack,
you got your eye on anything in game here?
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Oh boy, I tell you this Jacksonville team they bother me.
They really do it. I got them in my contest
thinking I was laying five and a half them all
my contest picks. I'm a genius. Game went to seven
and then to wake up to see the you know
seven not in New England. Now ten to seven if anything? Yeah,
I guess give me the other side of that now
it's three and a half minus twenty five. Jacksonville is
(24:25):
a favorite. I still say I'm going to go on
the other side of this now and just say grind
out game. I just hate this Jacksonville team. Maybe New
England if anything. But I'm not forcing about I'm not
betting it. But if anything, I would look to that
side right now because people are saying, oh Jacksonville's coming back.
You know, they react with their eyes and our eyes
play tricks on us.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Interesting you eyeing anything here, Jeff, I'm looking at that.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Yeah, well they would look at is is like maybe
Trevor Lawrence overpass attempt's got only seven, right now, but
it's at thirty one and a half. Like, are they
to get down this game through the ball? But maybe,
I don't know. I don't think many. I don't think
they're gonna score very much as I can half of
this game. New England doesn't move the ball terribly well.
But Jackson's defense is so bad. I still like you
(25:13):
are with your record says you are, and I think
Jacksonville just not They're just not good. And I couldn't
put a single sent on Jacksonville more than a half
at any game this season. I'm just out of Jacksonville.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
Yeah, yeah, there's nothing I love. I was looking at Oh.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Wow, they're just Trevor was just complete, like a seventy
yard past.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Yeah, biglay, I see the live line. The live line
goes to minus five and a half minus twenty, so
I knew something happened.
Speaker 5 (25:40):
Yeah, nice little scene. Was a great play, actually, Bill Baby, Yeah,
I was. I was saying, I was looking at Tank
Bi Bigsby and he still might get there. It's locked
right now. It was at fifty five and a half
his rushing yards. I don't love the news of Cam
Robinson being out, but I think as this game goes along,
he gonna get a lot of carries, so I could
(26:02):
see tank BIG's beginning there. But he just had a
small rush of three yards. So I don't know what
the new line is on that. Before the monstrous three
yard gain, it was fifty five and a half. I
don't know how many carries Remandre Stephenson. It's gonna get
forty one and a half. I know it's Jacksonville's defense,
(26:22):
but he might not get there. I wouldn't be surprised
if he doesn't get past forty one and a half.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Nothing.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
I love nothing. I love guys. How about later today,
as the day goes along, anything that you're eyeing for
potential in game spots, Crack will start with you.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Anything that you like here, nothing really up front, you know,
I always say that, just like I finished my last
statement with our eyes do play tricks on us. What
happens is someone's watching a game and you know, especially
a favorite, like maybe I'll use a Buffalo over Tennessee,
and they see Buffalo come right out seven to nothing.
(26:59):
While immediately they say, oh, I know this Tennessee team's terrible.
And by the way, I do think they're terrible. Of course,
but oh my god, I gotta jump on Buffalo here. Well,
you're gonna pay a tax if you're you're playing these
these marquee or public favorites, You're gonna pay a little
bit of a tax when you do that. So just
think about that. Just try to put your your yourself
in the books position what they want. They want you
(27:22):
about Buffalo. They want you about Buffalo because you're gonna
laying an extra half a point and probably extra juice
on what the real number is. The algorithm comes up.
It's adjusted manually with some marquee or key teams, and
not all the sports books, but a lot of them
do that, so the square of sports books. So just
just just keep that in mind when you're playing live
and don't get your well, don't let your emotion make
(27:45):
your decision. That's all betting, but especially live betting.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
I would look to taking points in some games as today.
If like, for example, the Niners get out and score first,
I get Kansas City in a much better number plus
the points I would I would look to do that.
That's how I would play some of these games, Like
let's say the Texans score first that I like Green Bay.
I could get it probably a good money line number
(28:09):
on Green Bay in that game. So there's there's little
I think moves to make like that throughout today where
you know, let's say the Lions score first in Minnesota,
get the Vikings plus a couple of points in that game.
Like I think there's spots like that, and then in
today's you know action where you can find situations. Look
look at the Lion's score first. Thing about the Lions
(28:30):
score first, we don't know what that defense will look
like without Ady Hutchinson. Guys, we have no idea. And
now all of a sudden, you get points in Minnesota
against the Lion's defense and we don't know what they're
going to be Jacksonville. By the way, in the end
zone touchdown, that that to me feels like a way
that you could play that. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:47):
By the way, Tank Bigsby, it was the Bigsby Show.
He had three carries in a row and got it
into the end zone there. So he's up to thirty
nine yards rushing. So that's the thing, man in game,
you better jump on it in the right spot because
like I said, it was fifty five and a half
and he's gonna get his carries.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Wive line back to seven. So back to the pre
flop number here.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
Yeah, there you go. What are you think in pre
flop here? Crack huh? Jacksonville's got the momentum.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
What do you think?
Speaker 5 (29:16):
Crack huh?
Speaker 3 (29:17):
I mean New England's up ten to nothing. They should
be embarrassed to let them come right down with two
unanswered touchdowns like that right down the field with that
giant that giant pass. And these are two ugly teams.
You know, it's a It really is a tough thing
to wake up first thing Sunday morning, six thirty in
the morning to bet this game. And now get people
(29:38):
are getting up across the country seven thirty am and
seeing this game on. I just don't know how much
live wagering will be induced because of these two big
public teams. You dostic.
Speaker 5 (29:51):
No, I got you crack real fast. You said something interesting.
I just wanted to pick your brain a little bit
here where let's say in that Buffalo game, right, Tennessee
stinks and Buffalo jumps up seven to nothing, and you said, hey,
the books they want you to bet Buffalo. Yes, walk
us through your thinking here where I know you're gonna
if anything, it's in that situation, it's titans or punts.
(30:15):
But are there other times where you say, hey, listen,
this is just the way the game is gonna go. Right,
you understand what I'm saying. Where you will look for
the what has happened to continue happening to a greater degree.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
And I will tell you it's hard to believe after
six weeks of football I would even say something like this, boy,
I am just sick and tired of Tennessee. I am
sick and tired. I really am. Like you know, there's
actually a ten on the board, Dog fifteen, and I'm
supposed to the old Bill Krackenberger, you know, says wow,
(30:53):
ten points when there's nines on the screen. What a
public sports book taking all this money moving at to ten? Wow,
this is a great spot for Tennessee. I did not
pull the trigger on I am just sick of this team,
so I just it would be hard for me to
pull the trigger. Usually, no emotion gets in any way
of betting the line is going to be the line
(31:14):
the next week based on what happened the previous week
plural weeks. So but this just to go back to
this actual situation of team avers team B saying it
wasn't Tennessee or yes, you're you're, You're gonna. I always
look to what the book needs. But then again, you
guys will be surprised by this, probably in the first
(31:37):
half of a game when when the halftimes come. In
second half of the NFL games, there's a there's more
spots where I bet the team that's winning than than
the opposite of that, the team to come back, because
the public thinks, especially if it's a big name team, Oh,
they got to come back, you know, So they got
to come back in this spot, you know. So if
(31:59):
it's if it's so automatically, though, I'll go by what's
happening because I know what the implied odds are of
the second half betting. And a lot of times if
it's a public marquee team, you want to wait. You
don't want to jump on the line. You want to
wait ten minutes into the halftime until the public's done
pounding that. I don't want to say square favorite, but
(32:22):
for lack of a better word, that's square play. You
want to wait until you know you have a couple
of minutes left to be able to bet, because you
want to make sure you get the best line and
the public will we bet in the other way. So
I look, believe it or not, I do look to
the team that's winning to probably continue winning in order
for my in order for me to bet them. So
that's the way I bet second half's and it's been
(32:45):
pretty successful for my lifetime, and especially this year there's
been some really good spots for second halfs where the
team winning is being bet against the second half and
they can continue to win. So h that's my take.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
It makes me it's a I do that too. You
can try it on some of those plays.
Speaker 5 (33:03):
It works well, yeah, no doubt. You go back to
week three, there were eight underdog winners. Right at week
four there were seven underdog winners. And some of these
teams are just gross teams. And to your point, crack
and what you just said, Jeff, Yeah, you think, oh, hey,
big brand name, they're gonna come back. You know they
(33:23):
were favored by eight. Oh they're gonna at least win
this game, and sometimes it doesn't work out. It hasn't
been the same way the last two weeks. So Week
five only three underdog winners, last week only two underdog winners.
But something to keep in mind, we hit a spree
in weeks three and four. Good lord, in just those
two weeks, fifteen underdog winners, like outright winners when they're
(33:48):
underdogs heading into the games.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
I don't want to tell you how much money of
the sportsbooks made during that period because they're doing a
little bit of crying because the last week. But yeah,
they cannot lose back. That's right, that's right, they cannot.
Who's back the money they have made during the first
four weeks this season, even five weeks, it's impossible. Forget it.
Give the Christmas bonuses out, Give those you know, twenty
(34:10):
five dollars turkeys out in Walmart gift cards. Yeah, give
them out because they're not losing that money back.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
That's why you don't have the collection bucket, right, that's right.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
The bucket's not out yet, but it may be they're
crying a little bit, all right.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
We've got Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, also a limo driver
on the side.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Always I'm attacha service cabs out there.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
Yeah, I'm probably in no Coming up next, the parlay platter.
Will each have one selection for you, group it together
for a greater payout.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
It's on the way.
Speaker 5 (34:45):
It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.
Every time you make a wager at BETMGM, you earn
BETMGM rewards points that could be redeemed for the like
bonus bets or converted to MGM rewards points that could
be used towards dining shows and hotel rooms at over
(35:06):
twenty MGM resorts. How about Jacksonville real fast with a
ninety seven yard punt return for a touchdown. They're up
twenty two to ten the Patriots. They jumped off side
on the extra point and so the Jags went for
two and got it. So twenty two unanswered points for
Jacksonville as they're ahead by twelve here nearing halftime, let's
(35:29):
dive into this.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Check this out far late letter.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
Okay, we each have one selection. We group it together
for a greater payout. Krack. We'll start with you, man,
what do you like today?
Speaker 3 (35:41):
You know what? Give in to the Seattle Seahawks plus three.
There we go, yeah, a nice rare side here. I
think Seattle, after going three and zero right out at
the gate and then going on three the last three,
I think they need the game more than Atlantos four
and two. I like them to keep it closer. Astubly
went out right seat pultreat.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
All right, Well, I like that because the voices on
the Falcons so in the voice good last week. Last
week was a very public week, A lot of public
plays one last week.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Man, all those like road favorites good lord, yeah, crazy
oh man?
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Oh the parlay all right. So I'm not gonna put
this in there, but i just want to voice my
opinion on this one game. I think Buffalo bo't racist Tennessee. Really,
Buffalo has had a habit of doing two things in
these games. Either win by four touchdowns or they lose.
There's no one, there's no one between. But I'm not
(36:37):
going to do that. I'm gonna keep things simple. I'm
going Chiefs money line plus one oh five there, and
let me explain why I get Christian Sippolini said they
need the Niners to win. I'm a Chief fan. Do
you guys know this? The Chiefs care about a few
things in a regular season. They don't care about playing
the Saints and mina football. They don't care about going
to Atlanta. They care about going to San Francisco off
(36:59):
of and playing their best football and are starting their
dominance again over the forty nine ers. I think we
just get a good game from Kansas City here. Their
defect is really good, really talented, and the Chiefs just
have a habit of sort of winning these team games
as a team. Right, So give me Chiefs her money line.
I didn't they win this game, and I'll take it.
I'll take them.
Speaker 5 (37:18):
Wow. Interesting, I did not anticipate that, Jeff, Okay, yeah,
I'll I'm not gonna I'm gonna go Niners in the parlay.
We're dead already, you know what I mean. So but
you likens, I do like the Niners today. Oh yeah.
The one thing I'll say, and we'll do the full
preview and listen, man, you can very well be correct
(37:39):
about everything you said is on point. Where the Chiefs
get up for games like this. One of the things
that bothers me about the Chiefs is that Patrick Mahomes
has put up mediocre numbers with mediocre weapons, and I
don't know that it's gonna change today. Like, think about this,
heading into this week, Trevor Lawrence has a higher passer
(38:01):
rating than Patrick Mahomes does. At some point, that's gonna
come back to bite them, and it could bite them today.
So that's the reason I'm on the Niners. But I
think it's gonna be a good game. I'll go elsewhere
in the platter, though. Give me Josh Jacobs. I'll go
with a prop on you. I think that with Green
Bay's rushing offense, I think they're gonna have some success
(38:22):
today against the Texans. So I'll look at Josh Jacobs
over sixty four and a half rushing yards to add
to the parlay. They've got the number two rushing offense
in the league and Jacksonville's rush defense not bad, little leaky,
little leaky. I think that mixed with that passing dynamic
with Jordan Love a lot of balance with the Packers attack.
(38:44):
I'll take Josh Jacobs over sixty four and a half
rushing yards today.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
I like that one.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
Okay, there you go, we're gonna cash one of these
or what I hope you so, yeah, one of these
days we're due. I feel like, Okay, Jacksonville with the ball.
I thought the Patriots almost had a brief moment of insanity.
It was fourth and three. They were at their own,
I don't know, thirty five ish yard line and they
(39:09):
just tried to draw them off sides. But at first
I'm like, are they really doing this? And no, they're
just trying to get a free first down. We're heading
to halftime and it as of now, it looks like
Doug Peterson's gonna keep his job for another week, right.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
Yeah, they can still fire him after this game time.
Speaker 5 (39:28):
So you have to fly back commercially. Is it right?
Team play commercially?
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (39:32):
Oh wow, still gotta go commercially after a win. That's
a that's hardcore right there.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
Man?
Speaker 5 (39:37):
Goodness, okay, real fast, just a little bit of time
anything in game?
Speaker 3 (39:42):
Crack?
Speaker 5 (39:42):
Are you just completely punning on this game? Jack?
Speaker 3 (39:45):
After we said plus three and a half New England,
they rattle off Jacksonville rattle off two touchdowns. That's why
it's hard to do spontaneous things like that. No, nothing
the halftime come out, by the way, Jacksonville minus two
on the second half twenty one. I may have to
agree with with Jeff. Maybe some low scoring second half
of anything. I'm sure we'll get a twenty one and
a half out here.
Speaker 5 (40:05):
There you go, all right, very nice. We'll keep you
updated on the London game and get to one of
the best matchups of the entire day. Dive into that,
including an undefeated team. Can they keep it going?
Speaker 6 (40:20):
Ah?
Speaker 5 (40:20):
Welcome in. It is countdown to kickoff here presented by BEDMGM,
getting you all set for Week seven halftime in London.
The Jags out to a ten to nothing lead, they
find themselves down twenty two to ten the pages. So
the Jags are ahead twenty two to ten. I don't
know if I said that right, But the Patriots had
(40:41):
a lead and now they don't. They're up with double digits.
Now they're down double digits. That's that's the Patriots for
you this year. How about this. We've got the Lions
at the Vikings Vikings trying to remain unbeaten and they
are a point favorite right now at BETMGM. This line
has moved quite a bit throughout the week, just up
and down. Not like crazy, you know, has it jumped
(41:04):
out to like Vikings ahead by minus four or anything.
But it's gone up and down little of a roller coaster.
Ride here. The one thing. Two things that jump out
to me. Jared Goff not great facing pressure, right, if
you get that pass rush in his face, he's affected
by it. Record not is good on the road. So
we'll see if this Vikings defense, led by Brian Flores,
(41:27):
if it can confuse Jared Goff, if they can have
some success with those exotic blitzes and all those looks
that they could. The other thing is I wonder about
the Vikings running game because they signed they traded for
cam Akers. Aaron Jones last game in London, he got
banged up against the Jets. He missed some practice this week.
(41:50):
I don't even know if he's gonna go, and if
he does go, if he's gonna be close to one
hundred percent. If the running game isn't very good and
you're looking at the Lions having the number three rush
defense in the league, that's more on Sam Darnold's shoulders.
So just keep that in mind while you're handicapping this game.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
All right, So a couple of things here. I agree
Therey thing you said to me. I haven't put anything
on this game for a reason. I think Detroit is
better than Minnesota. I know the homefield advantage matters a
little bit in the NFL now more you know less
(42:29):
than you used to. In Minnesota is a place where
it certainly does matter. It's a hard place to play.
I don't know what the Lions are going to be
that eighty Hutchinson. It's worth a discussion, right, guys, because
Ada Hutchinson is is their defensive end who got broke
his leg. Tim fib hope to be you know, hope
to have him back next season. When you have a
pass rusher like that, what it allows you to do
(42:51):
is to rush four or even three sometimes and put
seven back in coverage or eight in coverage, and it
allows you to pressure the quarterback without having to manufacture pressure.
That keeps more guys in the secondary to defend everyone. Right.
And then of course when you pressure quarterbacks, what do
you do. You force them into mistakes, You force them
into sacks, which which you know, a negative play. I
don't have the percentage in front of me a negative play,
(43:14):
Brian a hold, a false start, a sack, an offense
gets a first down is not very high. After that,
it's hard to overcome those things, right, And so without
him there there's no one for one replacement you're not
like going to bring in unless you trade like Max Crosby. Right,
there's there's no one form replacement. So how do you
generate that pressure? Because if you don't pressure Sam Arnold,
(43:34):
he's gonna tear you up. Okay, they have enough weapons
on offense, he's gonna make enough place. Well if you
have to bring extra pressure now, which I mean by
bringing a fifth or sixth rusher, that's now one or
two less guys in coverage to double Jefferson and so like,
I don't know what the lines will be defensively, and
I'm not sure this is a great game to see
(43:55):
what that's gonna be. Like, it's a Vikings team. They're
off a by if I'm correct, right, So they're off
of buy, They're healthy, they're refreshed. Aar Jones might not play.
I get that, but it feels very difficult to look
at this Lion's team and say I know what I'm getting.
I know game from Minnesota. I think the Lions are
better still, but correct. This is why I have no
(44:16):
I'd not made a wager in this game. I'm just
not sure that I trust the Lions quite. I don't
know what they're gonna be.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
I never knew that there would be a situation in
life where anyone would say, Sam Darnold will tear you up,
and that is this year, this will be the only
year on that. And you're right. I mean, it's situational.
But let me just tell you something from a handicapping standpoint. Offensively,
normally an originator, someone that makes up their own lines,
(44:45):
that has power ratings like my team, we actually have
a value on offensive guys very rarely a defensive guy
where we'll put them equal points. Let's use a giant
name in the game. Let's use them a homes And
I'll tell you something. Let's let's use a Jaydan Daniels.
If someone like that went down, how many points is
(45:07):
that worth to the team. Probably three, yes, three, that's
how much. That's how maybe more. That's how valuable those
key positions are. And offensive players, running back, centers, on
wide receivers. Very rarely do we go over to the
defensive side and say someone's worth something significant anyway, maybe
(45:30):
half a point or something like, listen, this guy, Hudchridson
just may be worth two points to this team. So
it's very unusual, very situational. That's how good this that's
how good this kid is. I felt terrible that he
went down like that. I really like him anyway, So anyway,
(45:51):
let's do this is like one of those classic historical
division matches that football fans really look forward to and
go crazy for, especially this year. These two teams, these
two teams sitting on top of the NFC. So Lions
are coming off one of their best performances of the season.
Speaker 2 (46:08):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
They literally embarrassed the Cowboys last week. Boy, they just
I think that was personal. That was personal. They were
just went in there and shoved it down Jerry Jones
and he deserves at his throat.
Speaker 1 (46:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
So, and the Vikings have been the best team. Let's
let's just face it. Five and zero on the best team.
Uh maybe in football according to you know, looking like
the unbeaten team and you know, pre flop, this team
was picked to win six and a half games for
the year. That was the over under.
Speaker 6 (46:36):
So this is this.
Speaker 3 (46:36):
This is this year's Houston team. This is this year
surprise team. So it's interesting, interesting to see if their
defense is up to the challenge. Here, someone I really
respect this week gave out the over earlier in the
week forty nine and a half, and it's it's not
that number no more. I still may lean to the
over in this one. It's still like the over here.
(46:57):
I think a lot of points, especially maybe maybe because
literally maybe because that defense of Detroit is gonna be
a little challenge this week. So that's what I feel though.
One of the only defensive guys that I know in
NFL that's worth an amount of points that are significant.
This is him, and we'll see what happens. To say,
I look forward to the game, though, I really do.
(47:19):
I don't know anyone. I don't know anyone. I talk
to a lot of people. I don't know anyone on Minnesota.
Everyone loves Detroit this week.
Speaker 5 (47:26):
That's crazy, too crack where man the game when you
put it on the Cowboys by that final score forty
seven to nine, Like the game couldn't have gone better
as far as the result, But then Aiden Hutchinson goes down,
You're just like, wow, that is such a huge loss
for Detroit going forward, And you're right, du Jeff, I'm
really interested to see how that plays out today, specifically
(47:50):
against a Vikings team that puts a lot of pressure
on you offensively, right, like they really do. How about
another game that I've got circled here? See at the
Falcons and man, you talk about offensive fireworks, Crack, you
might get them in this game too, because here's the
one thing I think of. And Crack you're on the Seahawks.
(48:13):
I like him too. Where Atlanta's pass rush is nonexistent.
They do not pressure the quarterback. And Gino Smith is
leading the league in passing yards. He averages almost three
hundred passing yards per game, and so think about that.
With no pass rush, Gino could go crazy today. And
(48:33):
the Seattle's defense has struggled. Also, they've been giving up
nearly thirty six points per game the last three games.
They've been very bad. So Kirk Cousins and that Falcons offense,
they're probably gonna gain yards, but at points to this
could be a shootout. But when you're getting points and
the other team doesn't have an answer for your main
strength they don't have a pass rush against Gino, that's
(48:56):
not a good mixture. If you're thinking about backing Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (48:59):
Here a couple of things to guys. Gino Smith and
a dome is really good. He's completing ten percent more
passes in a dome. Uh and his numbers are touchdown
interception numbers are like touchdowns through the roof interceptions way down.
And you know what, what is this Atlanta team? I
don't I don't know. I don't know what they are.
(49:22):
They beat Tampa Bay in a game they probably should
have lost. They lost the Chiefs. Seattle Crack mentioned, it's
like they're sort of do for a win. They're not
gonna lose four games in a row, are they? And
then the worst person I know who gambles on sports
is also on on the Falcons. So that feels a
good place to be if if we both like Seattle
and I will tell you what, we haven't done any
(49:43):
bartender talk yet. He's hot or ten and seven this season, Yes,
and he's talking about ten and seven this season. So
he went today with Commanders, Rams and Ravens. I believe
was with the three and the Raves I know play tomorrow.
I like Tampa Bay plus three and a half. It
most likely will make my my Crack challenge this week. Okay,
(50:07):
but I have wager on the Panthers today and I
have wager on the Raiders today. I hate myself for it.
But these some of the last week was last week?
Was was was a square week? Man was a week
And I'm hoping we got a little bounce. I put
a little bit of it, maybe a little a little,
a little more of reunion on it than I normally
do to see if this is the week when it
all comes crashing down. But yeah, it's uh so, Yeah,
(50:30):
I'm on Seattle plus three with you. Crack is a fade.
I think the over hits in this game. I think
Seattle plays much better in this game.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
The over is a bigger believe it or not, the
over is a bigger play for me. I just haven't
got to it yet. So that's I'm gonna tell you
right now. But surprisingly, both of these teams do sit
up the top of their divisions, but both headed looks
like in different directions. Like we said, Falcons one four
four street, Seattle drop the last three. I see, I've
been pretty beat up. Their defense is yeah, major holes
(50:59):
this season, but they should be getting a few starters
back today. The Falcons offense has really been clicking on
the last month. I can't say anything back. Kirk Cousins
looks very comfortable with his new team. I think We're
gonna get a lot of points in this dome today,
So I do like the over in this game. I
haven't given it out yet officially here. I did give
it out to my crack Wins guys, but I haven't
given it out on the show. We may have that
(51:20):
offensive shootout that even Brian said earlier in the segment here,
so we'll see.
Speaker 5 (51:26):
Yeah, And that's another reason why I like Seattle is
their pressure rate is pretty good. And against Kirk Cousins,
if you can pressure the quarterback, you can put some
heat on a guy like Kirk Cousins. That's not going
to buy time, that's not going to extend plays. That
gives you an advantage. So if you're on Seattle, you
don't need them to win by three touchdowns, right, You
(51:48):
just need them to cover sure, And if you can
pressure Kirk, I think that plays into your hand. So
I think Seattle is an absolute live dog here today.
So looking forward to that one. Those two very good matchups. Okay,
we've got Bill Krackenberger from Crackwins dot com. We've got
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian No for

We'll have another one for you that's not in primetime.
We've got three outstanding matchups, none of them are in primetime.
We'll get to one of those three coming up. It's
Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. It
(52:53):
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM.

(53:14):
They're up twenty five to ten right now, about eight
minutes to go in the third quarter. We've got the
Texans at the Packers today. Packers three point home favorites,
and man, I love this. I love this matchup. I
think this is a great, great matchup, very much looking
forward to it. I think, listen, it sounds like a
(53:36):
cop out to talk about turnovers or takeaways. We know
how much how important it is to protect the football,
but that's what the Packers defense has been living on.
They're first in the league in takeaways with seventeen. They're
third in interceptions. They've gotten nine interceptions this season. And
if you're just able to simply protect the football, CJ.
(53:58):
Stroud typically does a great job of that. The Green
Bay passing offense a little leaky, twenty fifth in the NFL,
So it's like, if you're not turning the ball over,
you can find some success against Green Bay's defense. The
trick is just protecting the ball. That's step one for
the Texans today.
Speaker 1 (54:17):
It is, and you know, Stroud's been a little bit
looser with the ball last couple of weeks of the season.
Compared to last year, Houston has sort of not hit
their stride yet offensively, Brian, they have not been what
they were last year, right, and does that happen on
the road today? Start also to we got the dome team,
you know outside and you know it's green Bay. Last
(54:37):
week the weather was kind of crumming in in Green Bay.
This is a game where I sort of think the
number is good, Like I don't think there's an advantage
in any direction. I think if it's plus three, because
it really has not been three most of the week,
I would take the Texans plus the three points it
was green Bay minus one. Maybe look at Green Bay.
(55:00):
I mean it could be that simple in this game. Crack.
I don't. I don't have a great lean. I think
it's a really good football game. Will tell us both
about both. Look the NFC North right now, with how
good it is. I think the Packers are just as
good as as the other teams in the North. I
think the Bears are kind of fourth in my mind.
And then it's a green Bay wins this game and
they get elevated tremendously, and I think Houston. Houston wins
(55:21):
this game. They're six and one. Now I don't view
them in the same light as the Chiefs or the
Bills or the Ravens and AFC crack, but I think
it'd be really good game. I don't have much of
this other than I'm fading the voice, the voice, who has?
Who has? You know? Green Bay minus three? Yes?
Speaker 3 (55:39):
No, that that means a lot to me, Like I know,
what's a.
Speaker 1 (55:42):
Last week was a bad fade week. I'll tell you
what it was not.
Speaker 3 (55:45):
So everyone lost, every sharp syndicate group I know lost,
the bookmakers most of them them all lost on Sunday.
So it was just that obscure rogue week that I
throw out and and and have to probably just you know,
I go back right back to betting, like I always
say every week. I said that it's just about the
same a broken record, just as good finding a bad
(56:07):
handicapper as it is a good handicapper. And the voice
certainly is a bad one. So uh, matter of fact,
let's let's actually give out those picks. What Jeff the
voice is on Green Bay?
Speaker 6 (56:19):
Ye?
Speaker 1 (56:19):
So on Atlanta, Atlanta? And then I know this is
a this is also a wager that you have given
out this week. Uh viing crack wins a J Brown
over receiving yards.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
Yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
Yeah, she might be. She might be part of the
service crack.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
You know it could be, especially this this real cute
uh basic strategy Wong teaser Lions plus seven and a
half plus eight and a half. Yeah, trust me, the
voice isn't coming up with that pick on there.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
So I so I think I think the Chiefs are
going to cover that number. But I did take the
the Vikings minus eight and adjust in line to cover
that teaser number the Lions side, because I just think
that to Brian's point earlier, like there's a scenario where
the Vikings defense just bombards Jared Goff and makes it
(57:11):
really hard for him. That there's a legit scenario where
that happens and they lose. That came by ten and
you know it's it's twenty seven to seventeen, and it's
just that's what it is. And if I can continue
to roll, I don't think the Chiefs are losing by
nine points or more. But this is the most basic
teaser of all time. Every every square is doing this
(57:31):
teaser today. I'm waiting for the other one to post
the wagers too, because that's you'll you'll like this Crack. Look,
we maybe we spend too much time on this, but
there are the influencers who post their gambling picks the internet.
And I'm not saying I've been perfect. That my college
record this year is not great. NFL is even worse.
Crack Challenge is doing well.
Speaker 5 (57:51):
Though.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
I should probably just wager on all the Crack Challenge plays.
Speaker 5 (57:54):
And until ten minutes before kau.
Speaker 1 (57:57):
Is working to all my wagers in. And like this,
one individual puts down a lean and then just counts
the leans for wins when they win, and it doesn't
count them when they lose. So it's just it's interesting.
It's the it's just the business man. It's kind of crazy.
Speaker 3 (58:15):
Social of influencers that literally have have their own graveyards
here of sports, sports betting people that find.
Speaker 5 (58:22):
I just wish it would work like that at the
betting window.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
You know the news it's just a lean that was
just a lean that was that didn't count. But you know,
and what we're talking about here, guys that have just
joined us. Uh, there's a there's a on Twitter at
Chicken X Dinner is one of the bartender. Yeah, the bartender,
and you know bartender. I love very transparent. Nine yet
(58:48):
ten and seven so far a year to date, and
I love every week there's always a quote big line,
someone's a lock or someone's a kill. This week is
Carolina is cooked quote unquote. So they're on Washington, Rams
and Baltimore having a good year, which I expect to
return to the mean and have a bad year, but
just to just to have a little say on this
(59:10):
Houston game, it's another game today that two teams legitimate
chance that I hate. I'm gonna tell you something. I
heard someone give this out about a month ago and
about green Bay and I actually, you know, went green
Bay to make the playoffs taking juice which is you're
not gonna get now, but a big chance to win
it all this year, even Houston, who knows this is
(59:31):
a year of every team just seems like all these
there's not one standout team maybe Kansas City, but their
underdog today. So both of these teams looking better and
better each week. Texas defense has been great, has been
great this season, but it's probably this is probably their
biggest test today. So they like the pressure quarterbacks create mistakes,
(59:51):
but Jordan Love has been under great pressure this year
and still can create that big play. So can you
can Houston keep up with this team for the all
four quarters? I don't know. It should be a really
good game. You know. It's one place I always wanted
to go for a game. Believe it or not, I
always wanted to go to Lambeau, but I want to
go like ice bowlish. I want to go like cold freezing.
(01:00:13):
I don't know why. Maybe I'm nuts. I just want
to be there and one of those Lombardi type kind
of games.
Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
I made it there once.
Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Crack.
Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
Yeah, it was my birthday about ten years ago. Went
there with my mom. It was a great time and
it turned into it what Jay Cutler was hurt and
so Josh McCown was in there, and that was the
game where Aaron Rodgers also got hurt, and so Seneca
Wallace stepped in. It quickly turned into Josh McCown versus
Seneca Wallace is the game that I saw about roughly
(01:00:43):
ten years ago or so. But it was still great
and you could it was fun like the day before.
We toured the stadium and the atrium is like all
new school and it's blended of course with the history
and the tradition and the old school stuff, so you
would love it. Man, I highly see that it's going.
Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
I literally was at Vince Lombardi's grave last week. I
was in Middletown, New Jersey, and uh, yeah, my parents
are in the same cemetery as him, So I don't
need to get so dark on the show. But it's
just so cool going to the There's always like a
different helmet, like a Fordham helmet was there this week.
There's always something different there and and uh it's just
one of the greats of the game as people get
(01:01:21):
older and people start forgetting how great of a coach
he was and how great the Green Bay Packers were
back then. Then trying to return to the glory this
year with with Jordan Love. So we'll see what happens today.
Speaker 5 (01:01:32):
Well, I've got three ways to you know, kind of
like live in the show up if you will. You know,
it got dark for a second. So one, it was
my mom's birthday yesterday, birthday. Absolutely happy birthday to her.
It's happy birthday to Bo. Benson are trusted producer.
Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
Bo come out to Vegas, Buddy.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Yeah, he plays own drop. I hope he did for himself.
Speaker 5 (01:01:57):
That was Chris. But I like that idea of But yeah,
just play your own drops here on this show. And
one of the best ways to liven things up is
one Isaac lowenkron huh, known as the life of the
freaking party. Hi, Lo here with the latest.
Speaker 7 (01:02:13):
I'll be popping out of the birthday cake for Bo
and Brian's mind.
Speaker 5 (01:02:20):
Thank you for that visual.
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Please please please know you know what they.
Speaker 7 (01:02:24):
Say, radio is theater of the mind. Well feeling equal
horror right now, fans of the New England Patriots, how
was that first segue? Because today at Webley Stadium in
London they jumped out to a ten to nothing lead
over the Jacksonville Jaguars. But since then the Jaguars have
reeled off twenty five in a row, including here.
Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
Parker Will feels it all the way back in his
four yard line to the ten yard line, right up
the middle of.
Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Field twenty twenty five thirty into.
Speaker 7 (01:02:51):
The open field, fifteen ten five touchdown Parker.
Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
Was he did just brought it all the way back
to the jack Tibby stiff in.
Speaker 7 (01:03:00):
The late How good is that ninety six yard punt
return for a touchdown? Frank Frankie the call on w
jxl SO. Jacksonville up twenty five to ten over the
Patriots with two minutes left to play in the third quarter.
Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence has completed fifteen of nineteen for
one hundred and ninety three yards and a touchdown no interceptions.
(01:03:20):
New York Jets pass rusher Hassan Reddick has ended his holdout.
According to his new agent, Reddicks agreed to a reworked
short term contract. He's now expected to report to the
team on Monday. On Saturday night, the New York Yankees
won the American League Pennant, defeating the Cleveland Guardians five
to two in Game five of the American League Championship
(01:03:40):
Series on a dramatic three run home run with two
outs in the top half of the tenth inning by
one Soto. Here's something new. Let's listen to the call
of Soto's pennant winning home run in Spanish.
Speaker 5 (01:03:54):
All the best Soto swinging Panamao put upon Time Thomas
that Johnny so.
Speaker 7 (01:04:13):
So, I'm doing wrong so.
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
Made that I'm a Yankees.
Speaker 7 (01:04:21):
I love it so too. Matico back to you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
It's awesome, right there, Ryan.
Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
I love radio calls of home runs.
Speaker 5 (01:04:32):
Oh man.
Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
I grew up listening to Vinceculli and I'm like a
doctor Sam. I felt very fortunate. But just like that,
I I just have an infinity for like baseball and
radio because the Giants, I'm a Giants fan, and the
Giants played by play guys are maybe the best in
the whole.
Speaker 5 (01:04:46):
They're so good.
Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
They're so good type of Cruco. And like even listening
to John Sterling, who's doing the games for the Yankees
and the postseason right now, eighty five years old, the
other night when he called the back to back run,
like I haven't even looked up to his call from
last night. I'm shark and I could fight in a second.
It's so good.
Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Because and then even I'll give you even a shout
like the TBS call the other night for the Indians
the big Christmas home run, Like I just because baseball
is one of those sports where the tension in the
postseason is unlike I think any other sport, because every
(01:05:27):
pitch feels like it matters a lot. When other sports
you have lulls like third and twelve at the minus twenty,
you can kind of be like, Okay, we're probably gonna
put the ball and you just you can just relate baseball.
There's no relaxing. Ever, there's never relaxing. Every pitch can
be a home run, can be a single Okay, anything
can happen on a pitch, and the radio calls. I
(01:05:49):
feel like the excitement of those calls reflects the tension
being cut by a big play.
Speaker 5 (01:05:56):
Yeah, and I think also where you think about it,
at the end of the day, the Yankees won in five, right,
but there were a lot of moments in that series
where the huge home run by Soto. My girlfriend's last name.
You guys have met her. Her last name is Soto,
and so if anyone says Soto, she's watched he's like, Soto,
(01:06:17):
did you get her one jersey?
Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
I name.
Speaker 5 (01:06:23):
We joke around that's her cousin. You know it's not,
but that's what we joked the same last name, and
he went yard. But man, the big Christmas home run,
that was amazing. The one game that Cleveland won, they're
down to their final out, down two runs, double home run,
walk off, and extra it was amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
That series has been way more entertaining. You've only went
five games than Dodgers met too. Every game is over
by the fourth inning, that's right, And tonight is a
bullpen game for the Dodgers, which it's just I don't
know how they beat the Yankees. I don't know how
they do it. When you have to throw two bullpen
games into seven game series, your pitching is probably not
(01:07:01):
in a good place. And they're basically conceding today. I
mean they're not conceding it, but they're saying, like we
and then they gotta throw Bueller tomorrow probably, right Blue,
I think Buler's next, and he threw really well in
Game three. But before that, as e Ra was ten
to the postseason, right, they would imagine they win one
of the next two games and get done with because
they can hit so well, right, I mean any point,
(01:07:21):
you know, Otarni bets. I mean, these guys can hit
the ball. And I think Yanks are gonna win their
twenty eighth championship. I don't think. And as someone who
worked for Fox Sports obviously Fox Sports Radio, but I mean,
can you imagine the executives a Fox cannot be any
happier of a Yankees Dodgers series, And I'll be in
New York next week Wednesday night. If if they're playing
(01:07:44):
Wednesday night, I might go. I gotta see what the
what the ticket cost. What I got to see the
ticket costs. Though, there's a certain number I'm willing to
go to for a game I don't care about. I've
been to World Series game where my own team was playing,
and I paid a lot of money. That's fine, it's
my own team. But to go to Yankees dog, I
would like to sit in a good seat, big number.
Any good seat is going to be over a thousand easily.
Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
Right number.
Speaker 5 (01:08:06):
It's the World Series, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
I did. But I've been before the World Series, so
it's not something that I have to cross off my
bucket list.
Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
Hey, that's one thing my dad has said to me.
I don't know how many times throughout the year. He's like,
b if the Cardinals are in the World Series, We're going. No,
I haven't. I've never been to a World Series game.
Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
So my my thing with the World Series was I
always told myself the same thing, like, if a Giants
are in the World Series and I can afford to go,
and I have the time, I will make it happen.
So in twenty fourteen during the World Series for the
third time. It's always during football. He's been playing in
the NFL. We had a bye week and they were
playing on the bye week, so I paid a lot
(01:08:49):
of money, flew from New York to San Francisco.
Speaker 5 (01:08:51):
Was it linscom Caine?
Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
No, it was. The Giants won eleven four against the
Royals in game five of Game four of twenty fourteen
World Series. I I surprise my dad woul tickets and
my uncle for his birthday. There you go for his
sixtieth birthday.
Speaker 3 (01:09:09):
So it was.
Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
It was Game four. They won eleven to four. Pablo
Sandeval had a big basis clearing triple. It was. It
was the most fun. It was Ryan Vogel song and
Jason Vargas.
Speaker 5 (01:09:22):
How about that okay yeah vocal song?
Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:09:26):
It's a Fox Sports Radio is count Down to Kickoff
presented by bet MGM all season long. Bet MGM's offering
you a second chance on your first touchdown bet in
the NFL. When a customer places an NFL wager on
a first touchdown score bet, he doesn't score first, but
score second. BETMGM will return one hundred of their stake
back in cash. With that let's dive into this. Let's
(01:09:48):
go rush.
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
Second chance score.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
This might be our last opportunity.
Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
Man. All right, Crack, we'll start with you. We're looking
for a first touchdown score. If worst case scenario does
score first, but score a second, we get our money back.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
Anyone that you have rat I've been going to this
guy often Kwon Barkley plus four to one at bet MGM. Again,
great rule here. If he scores the second touchdown there
you get your money back plus four to one Barkley.
Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
So I did bet on Sakwon Barkley to be for this.
Uh wow. And the reason why, Crack is he's back
in New York this weekend, and I think they try
to get him a touchdown on this game. I think
the Giants cover this game, by the way, but I
think that that they try to get him a score
early just because he's back home. Like it's right, like
(01:10:42):
he's back home and in these emotional games, coaches know
they know, right. So I think that's, uh, that's that's
the way to go here. The other one that I'll
give you, I think he's he's up right, James Cook
is playing today? Am I right on that? I think
the Bills is.
Speaker 5 (01:10:59):
Yeah, he's banged up, he's iffy, so he's quite.
Speaker 1 (01:11:05):
Ray Davis is playing. So Ray Davis is playing, and
I think Cook is playing. I don't whatever. I think
Cook scores a touchdown in the first two for Buffalo
plus five seventy five. I think Buffalo guys wins this
game like forty one to ten. I really go look
at the guys. I'm not go look at the way
they play these games. Either win by four touchdowns, are loose,
(01:11:27):
there's no there's no outcome when they play bad teams,
or they win by three points. So the Mark Cooper
trade is a big deal. I think the Mark Cooper
trade really makes them a different team. They needed this
guy in the worst way. Again, I don't know like
how how much today he makes a difference, but they
need a number one in a bad way. I think
he makes more of a difference than DeVonta Adams does
(01:11:48):
for the Jets. So I really I'm really big on
the Bills today, and they will be my crack challenge.
Speaker 5 (01:11:56):
I'm gonna stick with the Seahawks here and go with
dk caf as a first touchdown scorer. It's eleven to one,
so that's a very nice payday. And I just look
at this and I say, well, hey, the Falcons pressure
rate is bad. They don't put a lot of pressure
on opposing quarterbacks and that is not a great recipe
against Geno Smith, who averages the most passing yards per game. So, hey,
(01:12:19):
eleven to one as a long shot to get it done,
I'll go with DK to score the first touchdown of
that game against the Falcons. Here, So there you go.
Here's my selection for you guys. Hey, thanks to Rapid Radios,

this is cracks revenge here. This is salty crack after
a down week, right or starting a losing weekend coming
back with the vengeance over here?
Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
What's after a great season so far? Yeah? I expect
to I don't know. I guess I expect to win
every single week these props. So having a great season,
but I had it down week. It's funny, guys, real quick.
I actually sent you guys a prop just now. It's
something I heard during the break and I sent it
to my other group chat first. So my other group
chat is my nieces and my sister in law. So
(01:14:26):
they sent back to me, thank you u B. They
call me you B like uncle Buck, thank you Uncle Billy.
I sent it to the wrong group. So anyway, Yeah,
let's go to the Colts game. Here. I look at
sermon under fifty three and a half rushing yards, making
sure it's the right line. Still, I hate to give
out a bad line. Yeah, so I think he loses
(01:14:46):
more snaps to the backup here. So yeah, under fifty
three and a half. That is the current line there,
and there's a prop I'll have more at the end
of the show, but that's not one for now. Choice
an under fifty three and a half yards rushing yards.
Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
Okay, okay, I will go with let's see here. I
like Travis Scots over five and a half perceptions. Today
we talked about this often big game and off of bye,
he when he has sort of refreshed off a bye
or off rest, he tends to have sort of much
(01:15:26):
bigger game than they target him. In this game. They
don't have any wade receivers, jujus a little beat up.
So I like that. I like that. There would you say,
for a sermon, crack, would you.
Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
Say fifty three and a half?
Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
Fifty four and a half right now?
Speaker 3 (01:15:39):
Yeah, I'm listening. I'm giving out the bet MGM line,
though I think it's the fair thing to do.
Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
No, it's under.
Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
I see when did it move up? It may have
moved up.
Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
I just had you should be under or over under under?
Very well done? While okay for me, done done. It's
not very difficult on the app right now, it said
it was. It was fifty four and a half. Awesome,
awesome good.
Speaker 5 (01:15:58):
That was good, by the way, real fast. The Patriots
just scored a touchdown.
Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
Ooh, nice drive, making the spread interesting.
Speaker 5 (01:16:05):
Yeah, Drake may nice drive took him right down the field.
kJ Osborne with the touchdown catch they went for two.
Didn't get it. But Jacksonville, I don't get it. I'll
give Chris purfettor a technical producer, credit off the year
saying this, like, what's Jacksonville doing? They were up by
fifteen it was fourth and one. Instead of kicking it
and going up by eighteen, which would be a three
(01:16:27):
score lead, They're like, wow, we just go for the way.
They got stuffed and the Patriots after scoring a touchdown,
had a chance to make it a one possession game.
They didn't get the two. But that's that's what bad
teams do. They leave the door just slightly open.
Speaker 3 (01:16:40):
The Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
I by the way, yesterday they going for two down
eight one Maryland the football game. We see that often,
We see teams try that often. Actually doesn't help teams win.
Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
It worked out.
Speaker 5 (01:16:54):
That was such a weird game right where they got it.
They're down twenty eight to twenty two. Then USC is
attempting a field goal to be covering the spready gets
blocked fairly as they went crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
I don't like USC anyways. Fair disclaimer here, I couldn't
believe Ryan kicked that field goal the one yard they
needed to win the game. That was it, one yard
to win the game. You're freaking USC. You kick the
field goal, get blocked, and then Maryland returns it scored
to touch on a few plays later, and then of
course USC just doesn't even get close again to get
(01:17:30):
in that game. USC three and four this season, Uh
own four and big ten play, I believe, I think
I think oh four and big ten play. So not
not not where USC wanted to be in this situation.
Of course, the Big ten uh led by two blue
(01:17:50):
bloods on four to oh Indiana when the University of Oregon,
Indiana's quarterback by the way, hurt hurt his thumb. Do
you see that report this morning, son team they have
experienced backup but still work was legit like in the
high school conversation. So bumber for Indiana, and yeah, man,
that numbers coming down a lot, though I might, I might.
(01:18:11):
I think it's under seven. I might take Indiana anyways.
Speaker 5 (01:18:14):
Not a great quote by Lincoln Riley where the was like, Hey,
why what's what's all these uh end of game collapses?
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:18:26):
Real quick, Jeff, As far as the props go, I'm
on Raven's running back, Justice Hill. I'm gonna take over
sixteen and a half receiving yards against Tampa. Tampa plays
a ton of zone coverage, but Justice Hill gets targeted
a lot when they're facing zone defenses. So I look
for him to get seventeen receiving yards. Okay, later tonight
(01:18:47):
Tampa or tomorrow tomorrow, I should say.
Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
Oh yeah, too many night games again, did no one asks.
Speaker 5 (01:18:51):
For You can't call it a doubleheader.
Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
It's like the staggered and stream and one's only streaming
than ESPN plus weird.
Speaker 5 (01:19:00):
I don't get it, as you would say, what are
we doing?
Speaker 1 (01:19:03):
How are we doing?
Speaker 5 (01:19:06):
Just need one Monday night game? Right?
Speaker 1 (01:19:08):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:19:08):
Yeah? What were you gonna say? Real fast, Jeff, I
know you're a oh.
Speaker 1 (01:19:11):
I would say, I'm looking at games for next week.
You're ready for coach ball? You know the and Boys
U staping Friday night at ten thirty is a shame.
That needs to be like a primetime game. That's a
fantastic game.
Speaker 5 (01:19:23):
Well, hey, that's a great segue to Hey, you can
make an argument this matchup should be a primetime game today.
We will get to a great contest coming up next. Oh,
welcome in. We are one hour away from the one
pm Eastern kick times. Here, I'll get you all set
(01:19:44):
for week seven. We are, We've got London football going on.
Ticking down, We're about four minutes to go. Jack's still
up twenty five to sixteen on the Patriots. As anybody
involved in this game is watching very very close, because
it's right around the number Jags covering right now as
(01:20:06):
they do not convert on third down, and we're gonna
get the Patriots with the football here, So hey man,
Drake May has looked pretty good, pretty good today. I
know it's the Jags defense. Their past defense is freaking terrible.
But a couple of nice throws and start number two,
so not a bad day for Drake May. We'll see
if they can get closer.
Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
Nothing's ever easy, though, Like you think you're coasting along
here with Jacksonville, that's right back. And then you know
what if you're betting on this game, especially minus six
and a half, which was up there like a lot
of the week six it was five and a half.
I have five and a half my contest. But if
you're betting on this game, you actually want them to
make that two point conversion because now they could kick
(01:20:49):
a field goal, which is more likely. But can this
offense even move the ball down a little moment? Yeah, crack.
Speaker 1 (01:20:56):
Remember jackson was up fourteen points. It's the colt with
five minutes left. Two weeks ago, the game went to overtime,
Like they're they're the thing about gambling, that's just like
you know it's gonna happen, yet it still bothers you.
Is how things are good? Like last night I had
Colorado State in min six and a half against air Force.
They're twenty one nothing, They're dominating the game. They fumble
(01:21:19):
the ball. Air Force, who is maybe the worst thing
in the country, scores a quick touchdown twenty one to seven.
Colorao State goes three and out again, kicks the ball
back to air Force. They go score again, go for
to and miss it, thankfully so and then they get
the Then Colorastake goes three out again and kicks the
ball back to air Force and the clock ran out
on air Force. I won by you know, by a
(01:21:41):
point a half.
Speaker 3 (01:21:42):
Have a cigar game, but correctly it was I why
can we have one of those?
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
Like if Buffalo wins by forty five, that's a cigar game.
I need I need get to happen today. How about
Alabama yesterday going into that into that game and they
try to see with cigars in their mouths as they
walk in the tunnel, what are we? What are we doing?
What are you?
Speaker 3 (01:22:00):
What do we?
Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:22:03):
Come on with a rough look, man, when you and
especially when you're melting down in stupid penalties toward the
end of the game, and that's a rough look right there. Hey,
how about this one of the marquee matchups of the day.
Chiefs undefeated five and zero at San Francisco. Of course,
we know what happened in the Super Bowl a handful
of months ago. Some people could say this is a
(01:22:24):
Super Bowl rematch if you get into that, great, but
it's a matchup of teams that we're talking to marquee
teams right here. The one thing, and I mentioned it
a little bit earlier in the show, Jeff, is I
get it. The Chiefs in this spot, and you know,
like they're small underdogs here, they're very feisty, very tough
to beat. But I still can't get over, like, I
(01:22:47):
know this is Mahomes. He's obviously the best quarterback in
the game, but the numbers he's putting up with the
mediocre weapons around him, No, Rashie Rice, you got Juju
is questionable. He's a little banged up. Like when you
have six touchdown passes and six interceptions. It's got a
lower passer rating than Trevor Lawrence heading into this week
(01:23:08):
of football. It's just that's alarming, and at some point
that's got to catch up with the Chiefs. It's not
a Mahomes thing, it's just the Chiefs offense thing.
Speaker 1 (01:23:17):
I get what you're saying, Brian, but I feel like
this is just who they've been now for over a
year and a half and they're just a very complete team, right.
I think there's even Mahomes understands he doesn't have to
be a hero to win a lot of these games anymore.
We could play good defense. But again, off this by though,
I'm kind of curious because you know, they're playing a
Niners team that we know is really good. The record
(01:23:38):
is not as good as I think that they are
as a team, and I could see I could see
the Chiefs sort of having one of their better game
plans of the season against the forty nine ers. They
always game plan the Niners pass rush really well. They're
always able to find ways to make Bosa's life a
little more difficult, put Fred Warner conflict. And one thing
(01:24:01):
hens he's done this season, guys, is they've held the
leading rusher for a team under their average every game
they played so far this season. If you go look
at the starting running back numbers for anyone they play,
it's all under. It's under every week. So they're stopping
they run really well. Defensively, we know they can stop
the pass, they can rush the passer, and Mahomes have
to do a lot. Guys, he doesn't have to be
(01:24:22):
the hero anymore, but I think he still has that
in him if he has to do it, and today
might be that day. I mean, look, I don't know
they're going to win this game twenty one to twenty
or you know, thirty twenty seven. You know, it might
have to be at a little higher scoring. So it's
a fascinating game. I don't believe in Super Bowl revenge
(01:24:43):
in this spot. It's like Week seven now, it's those
last season. Trent Williams, the left tackle, said, so much
like that game happened, They already happened. We're not going
to rehash that game. Lastly, I'll say this, I think
the Niners have lost five in a row, two the
Chiefs now two Super Bowls, three regular season games, including
(01:25:04):
one when Jimmy and you got hurt a few years back.
I was twenty nineteen. I think when he got hurt
in that game. When you have a team that has
beat you this many times, it makes sense to sort
of over prepare, and that worries me. If the Niners
try to do too much in this game because they're
getting owned. Essentially, that's we get in situation you don't
want to be in as a team crack. So I
(01:25:26):
leave Kansas City here. You know, Mahomes is a three
point favorite or less is something like ten and one
against the spread out live. I mean, just this is
a good spot historically the bet Kansas City.
Speaker 3 (01:25:36):
Isn't this NFL amazing? Everything comes down to this last drive,
the total of the big hold there too, big holding
cold there anyway, just something off the subject of Kansas
City on San France. But anyway, we have a nice
little rematch here. Off we said the championship last year.
At least these teams are favorite. Yeah, you're ahead of me.
Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
New lanmight as well quickly punp this ball and then
try to use the two minute warning and the two
timeouts they have.
Speaker 3 (01:26:04):
They're going to go for it.
Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
It's fourth and like twenty five.
Speaker 5 (01:26:07):
Yeah, they should punt it. You're right, just put it.
Speaker 1 (01:26:10):
Before minute warning.
Speaker 3 (01:26:11):
You're right though, that that's interesting before the two minute warning.
Speaker 5 (01:26:13):
The only thing though is to win it, which they're
trying to do. You're down two scores.
Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
Oh you're right, Oh, you're right there. I was thinking
about covering the game. To cover the game, they should
punt the ball. No, you're right, they have to go
for it. Fourth and twenty six. Here they're it's gonna
hit the two minute warning.
Speaker 5 (01:26:29):
I think you might as well just let it hit,
you know, don't.
Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
Yeah, you're gonna rush now, yeaheah.
Speaker 3 (01:26:35):
You guys are ahead of me. So the two minute warning.
Imagine betting live. I'm still to twenty seven on my screen.
Speaker 1 (01:26:40):
So yeah, yeah, well I get the game on on.
Actually I find that works. So Jacksonville will probably survive.
Doug Pearson will survive one more week. My New England
fewest wins still alive, New England under three and a
half games still alive. So all my my Patriots numbers
are still still alive. Year as we head into the
(01:27:03):
week eight now.
Speaker 3 (01:27:03):
After this loss, and you know what I was talking
about before Minnesota, I'm not even thinking the Chiefs also
are five and oh.
Speaker 5 (01:27:09):
It just doesn't feel like the Chiefs, right.
Speaker 3 (01:27:11):
They could have lost so many games like that Atlanta game.
It was like a primetime game. I thought that we're
gonna do. There are spots the Chiefs just just barely
hang on to win.
Speaker 5 (01:27:19):
Though, and they should give credit for that. You know,
if it's like we're just not happy. Yes, they be
winning with style, it's offensively, they just not have.
Speaker 3 (01:27:27):
Looked like the same team I guess they were last year.
Maybe the defense though it might be bett than last years.
I'm just saying like, maybe that's why I just didn't
realize there's still five and oh so big game that
then if I look at it that way, then this
is a bigger game for the forty nine ers who
were just three and three. But you know, they still
have like the number two rated offense for Week seven
(01:27:51):
I think I read earlier. So and there's still the
odds people betting them to win the NFC and and
Purty to become one. You know, they're just so many
different situations here for the forty nine ers to show
up here big and you know, listen, it's against the
great Pat Mahomes though this guy is unbelievable. Though, it
(01:28:11):
should be a great game to watch today, and it
may come down to the last possession, just like this
New England game.
Speaker 5 (01:28:18):
Hey, how about a cool story here where San Francisco
wide receiver Ricky Piersoll he'll make his NFL debut here
today and he was shot in the chest back in August,
and she's miraculously he's playing a football game just a
couple of months later. No, Juwan Jennings one of the receivers.
He's got a hip injury. He's out for the Niners.
(01:28:41):
Here's the question in my mind, though, Jeff, I'll throw
it to you because you know you watch the Chiefs
closer than anybody else. Steve Spagnolo, he does a great
job as the Chiefs defensive coordinator of limiting and sometimes
taking away what you do best as an offense. And
so that's what I'm wondering, is you may mention the
running backs they're not hitting their overs against the Chiefs.
(01:29:04):
Do you think it starts with Jordan Mason slowing him?
That you've got Kittled, You've got Ayuk, you've got d Boat, Like,
what do you think is the focal point of that Chiefs,
of that Niners offense? For SPACs, Well, I think the.
Speaker 1 (01:29:16):
Thing about when you shut down the running attack is
you make a team one dimensional. Right, So now first
and time, your second and eight, second eight goes to
third and seven. You know, like that's where you want
brock Perrie to be, is third and long because then
you can dialop your pressures, you get you get Chris
Jones freedom to to try to recavoc like that. That
to me, that's why teams do that, right, So whether
they think stop the run first and then going so,
(01:29:38):
I think that they have the secondary to do that.
That's partly why, right Trey McDuffie, all the players have.
The secondary really helped allow them the freedom to, uh
to sort of get after quarterbacks and try to stop
the run early in in a in a series. So
that's why I think they do it.
Speaker 5 (01:29:55):
Brian, Yeah, yeah, no, interesting, all right, So we got
the Patriots fourth and twenty six.
Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
Here's a question, just if they don't get this, okay,
what they're not going to get, does Jacksonville just take
a knee and then New England doesn't call time out?
Like I'm kind of curious how that.
Speaker 5 (01:30:13):
No, they done with Brian, No, they'd call time out
for sure if that's the situation.
Speaker 1 (01:30:19):
Uh, and ball ball is just thrown in the middle
of the hail Mary, nothing nothing to be done there.
I was going to take Drake may over as past
attempts early, but the market was down. I'm kind of
curious if I would have hit it. I'm kinda curious
what he's at right now, Like thirty three, Yeah, I
would have been under it was like it was like
thirty six and a half soul. It wouldn't have happen.
Speaker 5 (01:30:37):
Well, that's the thing. They might get the ball back.
Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
Well, if they get the ball back, it's gonna be
with with under a minute left.
Speaker 5 (01:30:43):
I mean still, you know that might be enough where
there's yeah there, you talk about a minute left. They
should get the ball back at worst.
Speaker 1 (01:30:54):
Why would do we even call their time outs here? Though,
Let's be serious, they're down nine with a minute a
minute before the.
Speaker 3 (01:31:00):
Things have happened in the NFL here, Jeff, you know,
it's just uh human nature is you know. They just
just want to think they're still in it, and uh
call their time outs. I'm sure. I mean, you guys
are ahead of me.
Speaker 6 (01:31:12):
So they do.
Speaker 5 (01:31:14):
Oh they will, no doubt doubt.
Speaker 3 (01:31:16):
Do you think so there was a yesno bet I
bet the s timeout?
Speaker 5 (01:31:20):
Yeah, I wish that was offered on bet MGM. Right here,
Bigsby tackled after a gain of two or something time
out all day?
Speaker 1 (01:31:29):
Yeah they did it?
Speaker 5 (01:31:30):
Yeah wow doubt?
Speaker 3 (01:31:31):
Yeah, at this point, and does Jacksonville kick a field goal.
I mean, yeah, if they.
Speaker 1 (01:31:37):
Need to, they will make a fourteen point game, right
they should obviously not fourteen point what a twelve point games?
Speaker 5 (01:31:43):
Yeah, back door cover still alive, but actually depends.
Speaker 1 (01:31:47):
Where the ball is at at the balls I get
the wie might just go.
Speaker 5 (01:31:49):
For the touchdown, right, Well, they would in that situation,
they would.
Speaker 4 (01:31:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:31:52):
Yeah, there've already been stuffed on fourth down in this
and uh not before. Yeah, they got stuff a fourth
down the previous driving right near the red zone too. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:32:00):
I think they'd have to be like a yard or
two away to go for it, especially when they got
burned by not kicking the field goal when it was
fourth and one earlier in the game. You know, if
we're talking like fourth down from the five, I think
they kick it.
Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
But do you think the people in the crowd they
are showing are Jacksonville fans that live in London. They
flew all the way.
Speaker 3 (01:32:20):
You always wonder this right that's there, it's going to
be a blend.
Speaker 5 (01:32:24):
Yeah, there'll be a blend.
Speaker 3 (01:32:25):
They have they do they they love the NFL over
there and their games are always sold out. So yeah,
I don't think they're Jacksonville fans coming in from Florida.
Florida seems not to support their teams. Whenever I go
to a game, I'm moo shocked. Uh, they don't even
want to show up in the stadium in Florida, never
mind fly across the pond there. So I don't I
(01:32:47):
don't know about that.
Speaker 5 (01:32:48):
If you're ever in London for a game, Jeff, I
swear you're going to ask about one hundred fans that like, Hey,
are you a Jacks fan living in London or did
you fly over here from the States. That's gonna be
the question.
Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
Then they have to like man in the street situation,
you got to go there and do this for Ben
and GM, Like, I'll hang out. I'll hang out with
Christian over there and we'll just like, well, well, who's
got no, who's got we had a couple of years
ago that was in those in London. I'll hang out
with him, yeah and uh, and we'll just like talk
to people about it. London has the betting kiosks in
(01:33:23):
the stadiums though, right.
Speaker 5 (01:33:25):
I believe they do.
Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
Yeah, which we need to get which I'm surprised you
haven't done. America. So ball touchdown so it's over.
Speaker 5 (01:33:30):
Okay, big, So did I hit the over now?
Speaker 1 (01:33:32):
Crack?
Speaker 6 (01:33:32):
Is that just that that?
Speaker 3 (01:33:33):
That was the swing there? It was forty three this total.
Speaker 5 (01:33:36):
So well, that's where you're you're probably gonna you got
the window for that. I know it's too late, but
the drake may passing attempts over you know, it's he's
probably gonna get there unless they are over that he's
easily getting.
Speaker 1 (01:33:49):
Or just like run the ball twice and go home.
You could do that.
Speaker 5 (01:33:52):
No, no, they won't do that, you know, because this
is still what a sixteen point game? Two touchdowns? You hey, man,
you're gonna fight to the end in this spot. It's
got to be a bigger lead than that. All Right,
We've got Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I'm Brian Noll coming
up next, a new look for both teams that will
(01:34:16):
be facing off today. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown

(01:34:58):
Bigsby headed day, twenty six carries for a buck, eighteen
and two touchdowns. Runs Angry. I know Kyle Brandt has
the Angry runs thing for NFL Network, and he's great
at that. Man, he's a lot like Pachaco, your guy
Jeff Right Tank Bigsby. He runs with some force over there.
Speaker 1 (01:35:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:35:18):
How about the Sunday night football game. We've got the
Jets at the Steelers, new looks for both teams. We've
got Davante Adams, the Jets trade for him, so he'll
be there tonight. And then we've got your guy, Jeff
Russell Wilson he's suiting up expected to start for the
Steelers in this one.
Speaker 1 (01:35:39):
So I tend to like the Steelers as as home underdogs,
so that I tend to wager on. But Russell Wilson
went up to get a single set of mine anytime soon.
I don't get this other than maybe Toman I guess
(01:35:59):
told you gonna start at some point this season. He
is an immobile quarterback playing behind the bat offensive line
facing good defense. Count me out now, because I mean
that the Jets will see any of my money That
answered also no, But I just don't like this for Pittsburgh.
I think it's going to be really difficult for them
(01:36:21):
to move the football against a good Jets defense with
Russell Wilson. Quarterback Justin Fields was doing a couple of
things well. He was protecting the football and a lot
of turnovers, and he was running the ball when needed
and crack, We're not gonna see that with with Russell Wilson.
I think Russell Wilson like any sort of any sort
of unders men like sign me up for those, sign
(01:36:42):
me up for some unders for Russell Wilson.
Speaker 3 (01:36:44):
Yeah, No, this interesting game Prime Time. I guess it's
like Russell Wilson, like you guys said, he's going to
start for the Steelers, and Rogers will have his old
buddy Devonte Adams back throw too. Pretty surprised with the
quarterback change actually in Pittsburgh. I figured that wait until
Justin Field has played poorly to make this move. But yeah,
and they're four and two, right, four and two, He's
(01:37:06):
going to Wilson. You know, the Jets have done everything
they can do for Rogers now, getting him a new
coach and a wide receiver that he wanted, and it's
now or never for this team and for him. So
even though I probably don't agree with the quarterback change
with Pittsburgh, I still think it might be a good
spot for a teaser here to go through the key
numbers of three and seven, taking the Pittsburgh up to
(01:37:30):
eight and a half. Now, you know it's a low total.
I like teasing those home teams on low totals. And
you know this game is a major line move about
an hour ago on the screen. Now it's not a
major line move for key numbers. It's one and a
half to two and a half. I understand that, but
a pretty solid two and a half including bet MGM here.
This game actually looks like it's I mean, I mean
it looks like it may may even a three could
(01:37:53):
pop up a three dog twenty twenty five maybe, But
I'll tell you this is a really I just don't
see Pittsburgh, even though Pittsburgh's horrible by the way, they
shouldn't even have been in the game versus Dallas or
a couple of weeks ago. But I just think they're
a bad team. I know, the terrible towels. We're out
(01:38:14):
here in Las Vegas and we have more Pittsburgh fans
here than Raider fans. But I'm just telling you, I
think they're a bad team. I just think that the
Jets aren't all that, you know. I know Jet fans
are still holding on to them going to the playoffs
and then their season wins going over and everything else,
and you know, Rogers controlling everything there. I think Pittsburgh's
(01:38:36):
a good leg and the teaser here tonight.
Speaker 5 (01:38:39):
No that makes sense. I think, Look, it's a weird spot.
I'll concede that to start Russell Wilson here right now.
I know Mike Tomlin is just trying to be proactive
where he's like our offense just needs more, and there's
no doubt Russell Wilson's the better passer. There's zero debate
about that. Russell Wilson even last year with the Broncos
(01:39:00):
twenty six touchdown passes. Justin Fields will never do that
in his life. Russell Wilson had a passer rating of
ninety eight that was eighth best in the NFL. Justin
Fields will never do that in his life. But with
that being said, it's still a weird spot where at
the end of the day, the Steelers are a four
and two football team coming off a win, and it's
(01:39:20):
just like anytime Russell Wilson does anything wrong tonight, they
could go three and out their first drive, there's gonna
be an incompletion. I'm on boo alert, seriously with the
home crowd. He might hear some booze tonight if he
gets off to a shaky start. So, any little tiny
thing Russell Wilson does wrong, it's gonna be receiving such
(01:39:43):
scrutiny from fans. You're gonna feel it in the building.
You might get that a little bit with teammates. I
don't know how they feel about this. It's just a
weird spot to make this change because there's this perception
that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and Tomlin
is looking at it like it's gonna be broke if
we don't change things. It's just a weird spot to
(01:40:04):
do it. That's Uh, it's interesting timing to make this switch.
Speaker 1 (01:40:12):
I just I wonder if he just made a promise
and wants to keep his promise. I don't I don't
know how to explain it, guys, other than that, because
there's to me, there's no football reason why unless Toman
believes that Russell Wilson is close to being what he
was in Seattle, which we have not seen yet. His
(01:40:34):
skill set does not match what the Steelers current offensive
setup to do or should be able to do. And
that's what worries me most about this start today tonight.
Speaker 5 (01:40:45):
She's kind of like Westbrook on the Lakers, like that
sort of thing.
Speaker 1 (01:40:49):
Right, Basketball isn't basketball starting soon?
Speaker 6 (01:40:55):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:40:55):
Yeah, really soon. I've been seeing a bunch of Brownie
James tweets that doesn't seem to be going terribly well
for him.
Speaker 5 (01:41:04):
Jeff, I almost text you it was almost midnight the
other night the Warriors were taken on the Lakers. It
was the Lakers C team out there. I was just
steadily hammering the Warriors, and I'm like, it's almost midnight.
I don't know if I should have hit up my
guy Jeff.
Speaker 1 (01:41:19):
You know you know I'm in for a Brian no
gambling text message. I will say that the dog Connect
kid seems like he might be legit.
Speaker 5 (01:41:27):
Yeah, he can play, but the Lakers are in a
spot where.
Speaker 1 (01:41:32):
For just for sports fandom, that's the worst place to
be for a Lakers fan. I'm a Lakers fan, and
no one feel sorry for me. Don't feel sorry for me.
Is good enough to be a playoff team, so like
sort of keep you interested in the season, not good
enough to win a championship.
Speaker 5 (01:41:46):
That's kind of where the Steelers are too, yes, exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Yeah, And there's no future where the Steels win a
championship or Laers win a championship. But there's not there's
I mean, dog Connect might be really good, and maybe
he's like sort of him and a D and he
had pieces when Lebron retires and maybe there's sort of
something there. But AD's getting older, right, Brian's not gonna
be there forever. And JJ Reddick come on.
Speaker 5 (01:42:09):
Well and that's where like if you do a Laker
Steelers thing, that's where if Lebron or a d had
a Russell Wilson like catchphrase where it's like, what are
the Lakers going on their eighteenth ring? If it was
like to drive for eighteen, it's like championship. That's what
Russell Wilson is doing. He's doing this whole thing about
(01:42:29):
the seventh Super Bowl. I forget what the slogan is,
but like the path to seven. Yeah, and it's like, dude,
you guys are not don't say that.
Speaker 1 (01:42:42):
It seems like that this person's not advising him in
the right way. Russell Wilson's really saying that.
Speaker 5 (01:42:47):
Yes, that's like his whole new thing. It's the focus
is on the seventh ring for the Steelers. He might
even say it tonight, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:42:58):
I can't, I can't. I can't do it. I can't.
Speaker 5 (01:43:02):
I it's the new high knees on the plane. We
gotta slogan.
Speaker 1 (01:43:07):
I've had again. I mentioned start the show. I've had
a couple of long nights back to back. If I
make it to halftime tonight, yes, will Schwartz make it
past halftime tonight? It's about two fifty that no, you
got you got to lay four to one or one
to four to win some money there on? Will Schwartz
make it up past half time tonight for this game?
(01:43:32):
I have no money on it, and I don't have
to cover until noon tomorrow, so I'm playing time we
catch up. Like if idea I was doing morning radio,
i'd stay up and watch it, right, But I got nothing.
I'm not covering the game tomorrow till noon. That's what's
what my first work shift is tomorrow. So yeah, there's
about zero chances to have to watch Jet Steelers play football.
Speaker 5 (01:43:51):
Well, the betting line on will I lo crush this
next update? That's at minus ten thousand. Oh yeah, you
got a late ten time and to win one hundred bucks.
That's how much of a lock it is. Isaac Lohenkron
here with us, and he's got the leadst.
Speaker 7 (01:44:07):
Just to play conspiracy theorist here, What if I intentionally
mispronounce a name for example, Oh, Trevor Lorentz for example,
would that affect things?
Speaker 5 (01:44:20):
Hey? Man, if you want with the underdog, that was
the time to do it.
Speaker 7 (01:44:24):
Oh yeah, I would just go against my nature. Fellas
it is officially over over there at Wembley Stadium in London,
the Jacksonville Jaguars today prevailed over the New England Patriots
twenty five to sixteen. Patriots jumped out to a ten
to nothing lead. Jacksonville would then seize control with a
twenty five to nothing run, including a ninety six yard
punt return for a touchdown by Parker Washington, and then
(01:44:48):
late in the fourth quarter, the Jaguars put it in
the tank.
Speaker 1 (01:44:51):
Two receivers in the game, two tight ends in the game.
Speaker 3 (01:44:56):
Don't run it with Big b again to the middle
of the field. Lowers this in the end zone.
Speaker 2 (01:45:01):
Touchdown and that's the icing on the cake here in London.
Speaker 1 (01:45:06):
Tank Bigsby for the score.
Speaker 7 (01:45:08):
Frank Frankie the call on WJXL. Bigsby finished with one
hundred and eighteen yards on twenty six carries, two touchdowns.
Lawrence completed fifteen of twenty for one to ninety three
at a touchdown. Jaguars now two and five the Patriots
one and six. Jets pass rusher Hassan Reddicks ended his
hold out. According to his new agent, he has agreed
to a reworked short term contract. Reddick now expected to
(01:45:30):
report to the Jets on Monday tonight at eight oh
eight Eastern Game six of the National League Championship Series
in LA. With the Dodgers leading the New York Mets
three games to two. The winner will face the New
York Yankees in the World Series. They captured their forty
first American League pennant on Saturday night with a five
to two victory over Cleveland. In Game five of the ALCS,
(01:45:51):
Juan Soto the game winning three run home run with
two outs in the top of the tenth inning. Should
I do it again, Jeff? Just for you, Yes, all right,
just for Jeff Schwartz. Here is the radio call of
Soto's American League pennant winning home run in Spanish. Enjoy
(01:46:11):
so swing, Thomas?
Speaker 4 (01:46:21):
Why why.
Speaker 6 (01:46:26):
That?
Speaker 5 (01:46:26):
Johnny?
Speaker 3 (01:46:26):
So sound?
Speaker 5 (01:46:30):
So both see if the makedam plus I'm.
Speaker 7 (01:46:34):
A Yankees on at Montico.
Speaker 1 (01:46:38):
Love it so good? That's I went and listen to
John Strohard's calls and then one of the breaks from
last night. Uh, his call for Hosdo's home run, his
call for Yankeys. We're in the world in the World Series,
winning the ALCS. I'm telling you, the radio calls are great,
John John Miller for the Giants when he he says,
audio is pillow to for any of the Latin players.
I love it so much. It's so good.
Speaker 5 (01:47:00):
I love when Sterling talked about the Yankees being drunk
on the base paths one of the games. That was tremendous.
Speaker 1 (01:47:08):
Well, he's I looked, he's eighty six. He does no technology, right,
he has like no TVs. He just reads the newspaper
for his box scores. It's just it's the best matter,
the best.
Speaker 5 (01:47:18):
Thing for him, super fast is I mean, there are
a lot of people you hear John Sterling year after
year after year after year, and there everybody has haters
and they'll be like, oh, these contrived home run calls,
and and it's like the best thing for his career.
He retired and he was gone. We had all these
random fill in dudes throughout the Yankee season, and with
(01:47:39):
John Sterling being back, it was like, wow, man, you
have a new appreciation for what he brings to the
table when you hear somebody else in that spot. But
he's done a tremendous job, very long one, it's very consistent.
Speaker 1 (01:47:52):
Have you been play by play ever, Brian? Have you
ever wanted to do that?
Speaker 5 (01:47:55):
I well, I did like some high school football play
by play. I actually did high school football play by
play games with Chris Haynes, who does like the sideline
report work together. In Fresnoe, we were betting on high
school football games on the air, which I'm not sure
is legal, but.
Speaker 1 (01:48:12):
In California probably probably not. So Fresnow you're calling Fresne
high school football games.
Speaker 5 (01:48:17):
Yeah, yeah, that's right. We'd be there for whatever. Like
here's Clovis the East taking on I don't know, Clovis West.
Speaker 1 (01:48:25):
There's the Clovid, there's East West, south of North. Isn't
there for close all four directions?
Speaker 5 (01:48:30):
Edison Edison, Clovis West, line move.
Speaker 3 (01:48:34):
Gonna give you two major line moves in order for
these line moves to come in. This is six figure
bets game time because I get just by the way
there it is there. I love guys, Washington up to
a solid ten everywhere including bet MGM minus ten minus
fifteen is even a ten and a half in Vegas.
And now a one point move doesn't sound like anything
(01:48:55):
significant but actually does surprise me. The one point move
from one and a half to two and a half
San Fran a major line move against Kansas City. So
I just just want to tell you guys that two
major line moves, both at bet MGM and across the nation.
Here it looks like, like I said, it's actually ten
and a half's here in Vegas. Boy, I wish I
could get downtown there to bet that Carolina plus ten.
(01:49:17):
I'll take the extra hook. I'll go against the steam.
I'll take the hook on one of the key numbers.
So anyway, yeah, I just wanted to alert you guys
on that good stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:49:25):
Interesting. I got Carolina plus ten and the bartender fades.
Speaker 3 (01:49:29):
So yeah, I took it earlier today, Dido.
Speaker 5 (01:49:32):
Real fast, how about tomorrow night one of the Monday
night games Ravens at Tampa, both four and two teams
Tampa home dog up. Yeah, three and a half. And
you mentioned it earlier, Jeff, it was it was Public
City last week. The last six games on the NFL schedule,
all road favorites, one in covered sometimes with ease, and yeah,
(01:49:57):
you might. It feels like it's destined to swing back
the other way, right.
Speaker 3 (01:50:02):
It has to.
Speaker 5 (01:50:02):
It can't just be road favorite winning left and right.
It can't happen.
Speaker 1 (01:50:07):
No, no, no, I don't think so. Anythink last week too,
we saw a little bit of a reset of like
the bad teams are bad, right, Well, the bad teams
got blown out last weekend. That did not happen for
the first five weeks of the season. So does feel
like there's a little bit of reset. However, with Washington's defense,
Carolina gaining ten points is a lot. Yeah, a lot
of points. It is that feels like a high scoring
(01:50:28):
game as well, So a lot of points in a
high scoring game. You know, Panthers back to or cover
situation here, I mean, there's an opportunity to make some
plays here. I just did see this from the Panthers
tweet this out. They're long snapper J. J. Jansen, who
was there when I was in Carolina. It's playing this
twound and fiftieth game NFL history. That's only fifty six
players I ever played two hundred and fifty games or more.
(01:50:50):
That's a lot of football.
Speaker 5 (01:50:51):
It's a lot of football, a ton of football. Yeah,
longevity is a long snapper, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:50:57):
I tell my son all the time, it's the best
position in football.
Speaker 5 (01:51:01):
Yeah, unless you you know, airmail it in a big spot.
Speaker 1 (01:51:04):
And yeah, but he hasn't done that. He's been on
the same team his entire he was. He was like
undractor Pagan with the Packers. Came to us in two
thousand and nine. He went an IR that year. Then
to twenty ten, he's snapped every game for the Panthers.
It's not missed a game.
Speaker 5 (01:51:16):
Some of those guys have it down to a science too.
It's not just in the right spot. It's like the
laces are in the right spot.
Speaker 1 (01:51:22):
Yeah, well it's supposed to be so like when you
when you use I was actually a backup long snapper,
Like so when you I wasn't this good? But yeah,
it's rotates a certain number of times to where the
field goal holder catches the ball and the laser should
be up and he puts it down, so like it
rotates three and a half times and then like boom
right there. Uh no, it's it's incredibly precise.
Speaker 5 (01:51:43):
That's it's crazy they can do it like that, man.
But yeah, if you can, you'll have a gig. There's
no doubt. Hey, shortly after the show, our podcast will

I'll root for Bow's podcast, but I will not root

Speaker 3 (01:53:10):
To be the World Series.
Speaker 5 (01:53:11):
What if they're tied together? Would you then just casually
root for the Dodgers if it would help Bo Benson
by leaps and bounds.
Speaker 1 (01:53:21):
I will never couch root for the Dodgers.

Keep it locked here on Fox Sports Radio. All right,
we've got a bunch of picks to make.
Speaker 3 (01:53:50):
Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (01:53:54):
Games against the spread.
Speaker 3 (01:53:56):
We call it all it the crack Challenge.
Speaker 5 (01:54:00):
All right, Jeff, we'll start with you. What are you liking?
Speaker 1 (01:54:03):
All right? New York Liberty minus five and oh Rosport
WM A game for all the marks today in the
middle of the NFL Sunday. It's actually tonight, I think
at eighty five. Okay, you're ready.
Speaker 3 (01:54:17):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:54:17):
It's fire away. I'm I'm I think I'm thirteen and twelve, right,
I think I checked. That's what you had me down from.
Speaker 5 (01:54:22):
You're you're close. You're fifteen fourteen and one, so you're
over five hundred.
Speaker 1 (01:54:27):
Oh wow, Wow, Okay, Seahawks plus three yep, Bill's minus
nine and a half. Browns plus five and a half.
Ugly side by the way, Yeah, news came out. Jameis
Winston not the backup today, Doriy Thomas and robertson the backup. Wow,
but Nick Chubb is back. Bengals do not play well
against the Browns. It's not great, but I'll take it.
(01:54:51):
I'll take it anyways. I will take the Kancy Chiefs
plus two and a half. I get a better number
now plus two and a half. I think we're on
separate side of that one. They're Brian and the any
Buccaneers plus three and a half. Monday night football rare.
I take them on a night football game. I think
Tampa is a good football team. The game the three
in the hook here Ravens, I think do Fo no
(01:55:12):
kind of a road clunker. It's been a while for them,
so Tamba day pus three and a half. Those are
my five.
Speaker 5 (01:55:17):
Okay, yeah, I'm on I'm on the opposite side on
this Chiefs game. I don't like that the line has
moved in your favor. I don't like that. But I'll
take the Niners minus two and a half. I just
I like the spot for them. The Chiefs are just
getting by barely on the road. Tough spot. They're gonna
(01:55:38):
get tripped up at one of these stages. So I'm
gonna say it's today. Give it the Packers minus three.
I'm just taking the ball away, forcing a lot of interceptions.
Very good running game. Jordan Love seems to throw two
touchdown passes every game. It seems like even though CJ.
Stroud protects the ball very well. I'm gonna lay it
and go with the Packers at home. Give me a
(01:56:00):
couple of dogs here. I'm with you on the Seahawks, Jeff.
I don't like this Falcons pass rush at all. And
if you're not putting pressure on Geno Smith, he's gonna
dicey up. I look for him to have a big game.
Give me the Seahawks plus three, Give me my Fins
plus three. Sneaky good pass defense third in the league.
Anthony Richardson is back. I like that combination. Give me
(01:56:22):
Finns up plus three, and I've got a new slogan
for you guys. I know it's square, but I don't care.
I'm going with the Chargers minus two on the road. Okay,
they run it well, Herbert's throwing it more, they play
real defense. I know we're due for these road favorites
(01:56:42):
to start losing outright, but I'm gonna ride with the
favorite on the road in this spot. So there you go.
All right, we got more picks.
Speaker 3 (01:56:50):
Let's do this.
Speaker 1 (01:56:54):
Rapid fire.
Speaker 5 (01:56:56):
All right, crack, give us something that you like, buddy.
Speaker 3 (01:57:00):
So I had earlier. I gave you a Colts play.
I'm going to give you a second Colts play. I
just want to check on the current line.
Speaker 5 (01:57:06):
Is that cold play or Colts play?
Speaker 3 (01:57:08):
The Colts I think I gave you did I give
you downs under receiving yards. I'm gonna give you two
of them. I'll give you gave them one from earlier
to sermon under rushing yards. I think I gave you
earlier also downs under receiving yards on the Colts. He's
probably the big loser from this quarterback switch from Flack
Oto Richardson. So We're gonna go there for my first
(01:57:30):
one and I'll come back at the end for another
big one.
Speaker 5 (01:57:33):
Okay, anything else do you'd like, Jeff, that you want
to mention?
Speaker 3 (01:57:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:57:39):
Geez, I give it out. I think everything Gino Smith
over two seventy three point five passing yards. I rarely
take quarterback overs, but I think he throws for a
lot of yards today.
Speaker 5 (01:57:51):
It's funny.
Speaker 1 (01:57:51):
I know, right, Crack, I know it's odd.
Speaker 5 (01:57:54):
I'm on the exact same thing, Jeff. So hey, great
minds on that one. All right, let's get to this.
Speaker 2 (01:58:02):
This is the best play of the days down.
Speaker 5 (01:58:07):
Okay, crack, what do you have circled?
Speaker 3 (01:58:10):
And I gave out all my crack ones? A guy,
Seattle Atlanta over fifty one? Can't do that now, fifty
one and a half. Maybe it was a rare fifty one.
Let's go first half Seattle Atlanta over first half total
today twenty four and a half, twenty five and a half,
twenty five and a half. Bet MGM over first half
Seattle Atlanta. Look over some fireworks like that.
Speaker 5 (01:58:30):
And by the way, late note Aaron Jones Vikings running back.
He is active, has a hamstring injury.
Speaker 1 (01:58:36):
My fantasy team and six Fantasy team he is active.
Speaker 5 (01:58:40):
So man, there's some great games. Enjoy the action and
hopefully you cash them tickets along the way as well.
We'll catch you later
