Oh what's going on?

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Welcome in here, Week twelve NFL and I'll tell you
what crack as we always do a little college football recap.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
If we get started here. First off, how are things
with you? Everything good?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Everything is good. Got in uh from New York City
a little late last night, but uh a couple hours delayed.
But here I am four hours sleep, but I'm ready
to roll because I had to do some last night.
When I got home, I didn't know a lot of
the scores, so I had to do some grading and
and uh, yeah, things are things are good. Though I
had had a decent week, had a nice week in

(01:19):
New York City. I went back there for my buddy
Teddy Atlas's charity event in Staten Island, and yeah, some
really really good event, really good, uh, being around some
of these guys that are just legends in the game
and still come every year. Larry Holmes, what a great guy,
comes out every year, Tony Danza comes out every year,
Chas Palmitary. There was just the list goes on and

(01:42):
on and on of people around that live around the
area and some people fly in and it's just, uh,
it's a great charity that raise a lot of money
for for underprivileged people and millions of dollars every year.
Turkey drives and people that just can't afford things, you know,
they all step and go in to their post. I
can give things back, which really means a lot to me.

(02:02):
It really does. You have to remember where you come
from in this business and in life in general. So yeah,
good stuff.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
No, absolutely crack. And was it this trip where you
did the Godfather thing?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Now? Hold on, how do you know? Oh, I sent
you guys a photo. I didn't even post that yet
on in the social media. I was like, how do
you know that. Oh, that's right. So I sent the
guys we have a group chat group text. They're all
waiting for prop bets, and I'm sending them photos of
the Godfather House and they're like, that's great, crack, where's
the props?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Though?

Speaker 4 (02:32):
That's right. What do you have on John nuth Smith?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Though?

Speaker 4 (02:35):
That's what you did to know.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
But yeah, so I went to the one block from
where my buddy Teddy lives. The next block is where
they filmed The Godfather. That's the house where they had
the wedding and the opening scenes. And and you know,
it's funny, Brian, me and you of course have seen
I've seen it a hundred times. You've seen it a lot.
But there's some guys on the chat that are a

(02:56):
little bit younger, you know, in their thirties, in their twenties.
They were like, oh, oh yeah, I've seen Good Fellas.
I said, oh no, no, this was The Godfather, you know.
But and then I and then I when, of course
I did one of these things that starting out to
be a double header and it wind up literally I
wind up hitting for the cycle. Let me explain what

(03:17):
that means, all right. I didn't put a lot of
this stuff up there yet. So my favorite bagel in
the world is in New York City. Essa Bagel. There's
one on first, one on third, the best bagel in
the world. I really feel. They come right from the water.
Uh you know, they boil them in the water, throw
them in the oven, put the seeds on, which I
like the Sessames. So I went there. Of course kats
Is Delhi, which is the famous Prostrami Delhi in New

(03:38):
York City for over one hundred years. But then to
completely all, I go out to Coney Island. I go
for the original Nathan's Franks. I had had just one
of them because I don't want to overdo myself just
to go there. And then finished off with literally my
favorite number one uh pizza in the world, which is
LMB Spomoni Gardens, a square pizza where they put the

(04:02):
sauce on top of the cheese so that that so
I hit for the cycle and then and then of
course the next day I had to started up again
and go to a bakery. I mean it's just uh,
I try to get everything in, try to go to
some couple of cemeteries that I go to and pay
my respects and and uh, of course you try to
get sports and gambling into I went down the Foxwoods
and cash some tickets for some of the sports books

(04:24):
over there, and and yeah, so everything was great, just
that the time traveling back was you know, you you
cut yourself close with the airlines. A lot airlines have
less and less flights now to different locations. So when
when when you see delay delay, And they got delayed
five times from like supposed to leave like five o'clock,

(04:45):
didn't leave till after eight. And my big fear, you
don't even know, Brian, My big fear was them canceling
the flight. I have no I know. It's just you
and I today, and I'm like, how am I going
to get on Fox with the with the guys today?
So it was with you today. So Jeff's not here today.
Jeff taking his son to the Chiefs game, right, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Yeah, they're over there in Carolina. So I'm gonna see
the Chiefs and you maybe see Travis Kelcey before the
game too, as he mentioned last week. Yeah, kid's got
a kick out of that. They're like kids, you know,
Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, we were taking heart.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Yeah, I know the guy.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Yeah, I like that too. You are a fan of
square pizza. You don't want to be a square better
I think you will eat some square pizza, you know.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
And a lot of people can't eat the square I
understand a lot of people like like the round pie.
You know, it's funny because when I when I flew in,
I flew in on Wednesday night, Wednesday night drive from
Newark Airport up to Connecticut to Foxwoods. I made a
stop there too. You know, it's amazing how just my
life is based on food stops and gambling. I understand.

(05:54):
But I made a stop in new Haven, which really
has up their game in the last well socially is
up their game in the last decade, because no one
really knew new Haven how good the pizza was in
new Haven. So I went to one hundred euro place,
did my podcast from Frank Peppi's in new Haven on
Wooster there, and that's the round Pie. But like people
out here on the West Coast, sometimes they don't like

(06:16):
that kind of pod because they feel it's too burnt.
It's charred. It's when you're done eating a slice, your
fingers are all black. So you know, from the char
So anyway, I guess enough food talk for now. But listen,
I love food. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I
don't do drugs. I really don't feel like I gamble.
Someone actually refers to me as the gambler that gambles
without gambling. So that my little vice there is to

(06:40):
get some food in. But yeah, so the round Pizza
is really at Frank Peppy's there, Sally's Modern. There's about
four of them there in down downtown New Haven there.
And the Square Pie is in is in Brooklyn at
lmb's Fomoni Gardens. That's that's my that's my to go
places for pizza.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
I like it. I like it.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
Okay, So if we talk a little college football here
Cracked before diving into Week twelve of the NFL. The
biggest result yesterday was Ohio State with a decisive win
over Indiana. And what was interesting at the end of
that game, Crack, you had Ohio State, they're up by
two touchdowns in the final minute and they have the
ball at the one yard line, adding you know, about

(07:25):
to go in for a touchdown. Kurt Signetty, no timeouts,
right or it's over. We're not going to try to
stop the time, and Ryan Day, the Ohio State head coach,
he said, you know what, let's go for the touchdown
over here. Let's let's put a little let's go for
a little style points over here. And they scored a
touchdown and made the score thirty eight to fifteen.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
That did affect the total depending on where you bet it.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
But the final minute, Ryan Day went for the touchdown,
and at the end they interviewed him. Jenny Taft was like, so,
what's up with going for the touchdown there? And he
was like, you know, you never know in these games.
You know, it's a top five matchup, coach, you weren't
gonna fumble and they're gonna return it and then get
the on side kick and get another touchdown, you know
what I mean? Like, that's how bad blood starts right there, crack.

(08:14):
And it'll be interesting when the committee releases the latest
playoff poll where Indiana is and most are expecting them
still to be in the top twelve.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
But you never know.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
A late touchdown like that, and you just look at
the final score and thirty eight to fifteen looks a
lot worse for Indiana than thirty one to fifteen.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
So that was pretty interesting. At the end of that game,
what Ryan Day.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Did definitely looks like Ohio State and or one of
the best two teams in college football. You know, we
may be destined for a rematch of that great thirty
two thirty one game back in early October. So but
you know, it's amazing that I don't know, maybe as
I get older, Brian, what happened? We only have one

(08:58):
more week of college football. Like four teams projected and
college the playoffs lost us past week, Ole Miss, Alabama, Indiana.
There was four of them and BYU so Obama and
Ole Miss still have shots to get in, but they'll
need some help. But this season has just flown by. Again.
We were looking forward. You know, I remember preseason football

(09:19):
in which I never want to end. I want that
to go on forever, because I have more edges in
preseason football than any other thing football or even basketball
related that I could tell you. But I was just like,
all right, well, we've got the regular season here, let's
see what's going to happen. And here we are, you know,
more than halfway through. And then just to see that
we only have one more regular week of NCAA wow,

(09:41):
this season has flown. I just flew by.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Really did it really has?

Speaker 5 (09:45):
It's crazy and you mentioned it there where man Bama
got handled by Oklahoma. Of all teams, Oklahoma's had their
struggles this year and they smacked around Alabama. That's their
third loss. They're in a better spot than Miss is.
That's a brutal loss for Old Miss. They controlled their
path to the playoff and they lose at Florida yesterday

(10:08):
and BYU they're pretty much done. Like that's the committee
dropped them like a rock when they lost their first
game and Arizona States had a great season, but losing
a second game, Oh, the Committee's going to be like bute,
bye bye bye b Yu audios. We don't need to
see you anymore. You know what's funny, though, crack real fast,
is I love that you mentioned you have the most

(10:28):
more edges than anything else with preseason NFL.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
And isn't it funny? You have to laugh?

Speaker 5 (10:34):
How many times do you hear? Oh, you must have
a gambling problem. You're betting on preseason NFL and you
just said, as a professional handicapper that those are the
most edges you have than anything else, and you'll get
the most pushback, like, oh my gosh, you need a
meeting right away. You're betting preseason NFL. That's so funny

(10:55):
to me.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Well, i'll tell you. You know, I forgot about that.
I don't know why. It's only been a short three
months ago. And you know, you're right. In social media
you will take that too, and they say, well, this
guy's betting preseason football and he's come on, he's really
a djen. I mean, I'm not trying to brag about it,
but Brian and we've been together like three seasons now.

(11:17):
I send out my plays to you guys on the
group chat, and instantly I think the first season, maybe
you guys you know, hey, I'm new when your life
and your lives and they got you know, five guys
on a chat. They were like, okay, let's see this
after I think the first game, after it moved four points,
like wait, wait, wait, hold it, hold it. We gotta

(11:37):
bet these and not only because they move, they win.
This is stuff that I'm not middling or scalping. And
you know, years ago, that's how I built my bank
roll up, Brian. People don't know that back in the
nineties when I first started betting, professionally mid nineties, I
was betting one side and betting the other side, never
realizing how much money I was losing, even though I

(12:00):
hit some of the middles and build a bankroll, how
much money I was losing by basically scalping for the
sharper sports books. Now what that means is, let's say
I bet minus three on a game, it goes to six,
I take the six back, and the line currently sits
at around five and a half six, but I took
the six from the Sharp sports book. The Sharp sports

(12:20):
book in the end would bury me because they would
get all that money plus six. Well, meanwhile, the minus three,
the Sharper side, that's the side that's going to win
fifty eight percent of the time, fifty seven percent of
the time. And sure enough I started doing it less
and less. I started betting. You know, let's say a
dime one way, a thousand bucks one way and only

(12:40):
three hundred the other way instead of five hundred, or
instead of instead of going a thousand both ways, so
you always had more on the hot side, which I
feel quote unquote, but now I realize that that's you know,
I've realized that for you know, fifteen years now, I
just bet the hot side, and I know in the
end I'm going to get the money. This this pass
preseason was stupid, but that's we're not going to have,

(13:01):
you know, seasons like that. But where you know we're
winning seventy five percent, that's that's just not going to happen.
But last the year before it was also almost seventy
percent preseason football. Listen, I know it's not for the rookies.
The guys that are just starting betting automatically. They think,
like you said, oh my god, these guys are betting.
You're betting preseason football. But let me just tell you something.

(13:23):
I just wish. I wish the book makers would book
me during preseason football for what the same amounts that
they booked during the regular season. That would be a
dream of mine one day to get the same exact
kind of amounts, because you know, I'm betting lots of
money on these games throughout the whole season. And you
know it's really easy. Right now, you can walk up
to any single counter, including MGM right now, you could

(13:45):
dump out whatever you can out of your briefcase, out
of your bag, and they'll take it. Six figures a
game and even situations they'll take seven figures on games.
Well preseason. You know, if I can get down two
dimes on a game or a dime on a game,
I'm very happy with the same sportsbooks all over the
you know, all over of Las Vegas here where I live. No.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
Yeah, And that that's the thing, man, is For anyone
who pushes back on preseason gambling, just one quick note.
Take any game today, crack. Let's just take Lions and Colts.
Oh yeah, Like, imagine this is what happens in the preseason.
Imagine if today we had news Hey, no Jared Goff, No,
I'm in Ross Saint Brown. They're gonna rest David Montgomery, No,

(14:27):
Jamiir Gibbs as a better You'd be like, holy cow,
how and all the cold starters are playing for at
least the first half?

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Would that not interest you?

Speaker 3 (14:37):
That's what That's exactly what a great breakdown, That's exactly
what preseason is. It's all about following your socials, following
the beat writers. I'm not, you know, recreating the wheel here.
All I'm doing is following social media. Have a couple
of partners, they pay, they read. All they do is read.
They read everything going on, and now we still have

(14:58):
that during the regular seasons. You know when like quarterback Conradent,
when quarterbacks are supposed to have press confer you talk
to the press on Fridays and injury stuff and getting
you know, getting the marque players, the quarterback, the running back,
wide receivers. You know what, even alignment. When you have
an alignment, it's a very key position. It's why they've
got they've really been rewarded with some unbelievable contracts of

(15:22):
the last decade. These people are all key and important roles,
so play important roles. So you want to know that
as a sports better, that's going to affect the line. Listen,
we get stuff before even like the great Adam Schefter
does well, we'll get stuff before him because once he
puts it out on Twitter or puts it out wherever
he puts it out, they send alerts. Then the line's

(15:44):
going to automatically move a pointer. So so we try
to stay ahead of the curve, stay ahead of him,
or stay right on top of him exactly when he
starts talking, because we know we only have thirty forty
fives maybe a minute seconds thirty five second I was
saying thirty to thirty seconds to a minute to be
able to get games in. And that's that's what I do.
That's where that that that's basically what I do in

(16:04):
a nutshell try to get information that the public doesn't have,
more importantly, that the sports books don't have. So and
I always feel it's it's a cat and mouse game.
If they want to protect their book and have these
things going on, don't throw me out. Just hire someone
like I hire someone to find out these type of things.
But it's a cat and mouse game all the time.

(16:25):
It'll always be. I've literally in my lifetime been thrown
out of thousands, that's right, thousands of sportsbooks over the
last thirty years, and for not doing anything illegal, anything wrong,
just simply using my brain.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
Yeah, I got to pick your I got to get
some of those stories a little bit later in the show.
You know, there's gotta be a couple of gems of
getting thrown out of sports books over the years. So
I'll throw that your way and we'll get we'll get
storytime with.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Crack here cool this morning.

Ah.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
Yes, like to welcome in, Christian Cipolini, BETMGM Trading manager.
You know we'll get all your thoughts on Week twelve
in a second. Here, Christian, But I'm curious your music guy,
how do you feel about depeesche Mode? I know you
didn't anticipate that question coming your way, but here we are.

Speaker 6 (18:39):
No, I did not. That's a little bit before my time,
so I don't tend to listen to him.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
You six timeless, Christian? What are you talking about? Just okay,
now you're cup of tea? Nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Hey, Week twelve.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
You know, if we dive into this, this slate of games,
I guess the first thing I'm curious about out is
which game is drawing the most action.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
Yeah, I'm gonna go back to the one that's been
doing it every weekend is in the Lions. While we
have gotten a little bit more Cults money than I
would have expected, That's gonna be one of our more
bet on games, I think in this slave.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Here, So did you uh, you know, hey, Christian Bill,
Bill Krackenberger, you guys, I would think, of course you're
rooting for the Colts. I'm sorry in that game, but
but you know, I noticed the toggle here between seven
and seven and a half. You guys are at seven
and a half. I don't see you guys uh coming
down and coming down of course on that game. But

(19:39):
but I will tell you from a betting standpoint, I
just I'm so scared that teams just, you know, quit,
and I'm not saying, uh that that Indianapolis is one
of them, but I get so scared about some team squinting.
And that's the that leads me to min to my
next question. Tampa, Tampa A Bay and the Giants. Do

(20:01):
you think the Giants have quit this year? I'm seeing
my screen go red right now, Tampa being bet up
to you know, minus six minus fifteen, and which you
guys have, uh the five and a half. So all
disappearing looks like even a couple of six towards the
six and a half more do you see that happen?
Are you getting all Tampa Bay money there? Will the

(20:22):
Giants be one of your sides? And is that fearful?
That fearfulness that I'm thinking is you know, this time
of the year, now we're week twelve, a lot of
these internally, a lot of these guys may quit.

Speaker 6 (20:35):
Yeah, I mean that's what the betting public teams to think.
You about eighty five percent of the money on the box,
so they're given a time and chance. Yeah, we're definitely
struggling the right Giants bet So that probably is a
little bit of fear of that and the fact that
you know, while the bus is six point favorite, does
and not get them under a touchdown, there's probably a
pretty good chance that they end up more more than that,

(20:56):
especially just get away from them early.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
You know, I love some of those gross teams, you know,
Christian like the Giants, and you know Carolina is a
gross team this week, Dallas today, Tennessee. Like, when you
think about any of those gross teams, how much sharp
action do you see on those heavy underdogs, say, for instance,
today how much are you seeing?

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Yeah, I mean that's.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
Where the Sharks are tending to go, and that's where
the books that it needs to go. I think seven
of our eleven games are more than five and a
half point spreads. There's a lot of big spreads. So
for this one, the books that I needed the Dogs
and pretty much all of them, and there is tends
to be more sharp action coming on those sides. I think,
you know, the public tens the best favorites and the
Sharks more tendant that dogs. One game I saw in particular,

(21:43):
we weren't Titans, but they and have earlier in this
week because I think it dropped down the stone and
a half. So I did see some there. I fell
a little bit on the Broncos, but that's started on
the Raiders and that line did move from four to
five and a half, so so not as much.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
You know, Christian in general, the public and people think
that the book is looking for equal action on both
teams and just to pick up the juice. Now, of
course we know that that never happens. Would you say
on almost every single game you have a pretty large
position rooting for one way or the other.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
Yeah, yeah, that is for actually in most games, that's
that's what tends to happen. I mean, it's just kind
of the nature of the sport, Like Chiefs or Panthers.
You know, we're not writing many Panthers bets, and there's
really not so much that we're going to be able
to do to encourage that action. There's only so far
off off the market that we can really go without
putting our films into a hole. So throughout the course

(22:40):
of the season just does tend to work out that
way that you know, we'll have a primetime game with
the Giants in it where no one's betting them, and
then they just end up covering. So for all the
times of the Lions just steamroll teams and beat them
with everyone betting them, enough dogs end up covering through
up the season to make it all work out.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
So Christian in that game, let's use the Kansas City game.
You guys are using eleven. There's half the field in
Vegas here. Half the sports books I have my live
on screen are a ten and a half half for
out eleven. So let's say you have a nice decision,
a big decision where you actually are hoping to get
some Carolina money will you guys ever go to that

(23:16):
eleven and a half and get only one way action
or are you happy with your position rooting for Carolina
plus eleven?

Speaker 6 (23:25):
Yeah, I mean the problem will be if we do
end up going too far off market, well we'll start
to get a lot of more money back. Now, there's
some books that might tend to do that to try
to eat it up in position. You know, we're not
one of those books that that does it that way,
trying to get fifty to fifty actions, and this one
we'll just pretty much root for the Panthers, and you
know they'll they'll tend to cover ad enough of a

(23:46):
rate to make it worth it over the course of
the seasons. This week achieves my steam Homan beating by
three cupsdowns and you know we end up losing, but
you know next week's another week.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
So that's He's Christian Sippolini from bed MGM. I'm really
I'm curious real quick here, Christian, about the prop bet market,
where you know you talked initially about the Lions draw
a lot of interest. Is there a particular prop like
touchdown props or or quarterback props, or a particular player

(24:19):
that tends to draw the most action. Does that is
that common with you guys?

Speaker 6 (24:25):
Yeah, it's usually just kind of the flavor of the
week and the flavor of the season. So like Sa Kuan,
you know, we're gonna get a ton of bets on him.
You know, people love touchdown scorers, so those are always
popular bets, especially players you know that obviously tend to
score an high rate. The bigger name players. Touchdown scorers
always end up a lot there. I mean in the
stase of the Lions, you know, the reason that we've
lost on him in the past couple of weeks is

(24:45):
they end up just scoring a ton of points. So
you know, it doesn't matter who you bet. If you
just based like that one of their skilled players and
they score fifty two points, that you end up coming
out on top. So people tend to like that, especially
especially in the Lions games. But there's really no difference
between you know, Saint Brown, Gibbs, Montgomery that they've been
scoring so much people are taking any of them.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Man, that's the truth.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
And you mentioned needing the lot the Colts today, what
would be let's say the top three needs if you
listed them in order, what would that.

Speaker 6 (25:14):
Look like, yeah, we covered a couple of them Malaans
or certainly one of them, just because we end up
taking more action in those games. It's probably the Panthers
as well. Panthers winning out right would be incredible. Ninety
five percent of our handle on the money line is
on the teeth, so and outright win from the Panthers
would be pretty nice. And then the last one the

(25:34):
other game we talked about the fuck stins, So those
of the three were were really lot sided on one side.
And honestly, if we can really just get one of
those three teams to win outright, it probably is gonna
end up being a good day for the book. One
or two of them covering you know, I probably wind
up being a good day. But it's you know, a
lot of big spreads this week. So if we can

(25:56):
get a couple of these dogs winning, that'll be okay
for the book. If all these favorite steam be a.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Bad week, Christian Carolina is probably at their healthiest this week,
so it's just a matter of internal skills there. If
those guys have quit. I've heard some rumblings throughout that
camp this week. Like I said, they actually took some
money in the last twenty four hours. But it just

(26:21):
seems to me like they are really healthy this week.
If there was ever a week they could step up,
it would be this week if they wanted to. I'll
just finish with this the props. Brian brought it up.
You know, you guys have a promotion that's ridiculous this year.
It's that first touchdown to score the first touchdown. You're
giving the money back if that player scores the second touchdown.

(26:42):
Has that been successful for you this year? And are
you giving a lot of refunds that you know about
on that second touchdown being scored by the person that
they're betting to score the first touchdown.

Speaker 6 (26:54):
Yeah, this season our touchdown first touchdown specifically market is
a significantly year every year. I I don't have the
exact number in front of me, so, but looking at
those numbers is clear that people, you know, do you
enjoy the promotion that keep coming back to bed here?
Touch out for the general take a lot of debts,
so it does seem to be a very good promotion.
And you know we give some money back in cash,

(27:16):
which is great, not a free bet. He just gets
cash right back in your account if that player doesn't
escort the second touchdown.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
Awesome, awesome, very nice.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
All right, Christian, we'll we'll let you get back to
Depeche Mode, your normal free game ritual right before week twelve.

Speaker 4 (27:30):
But I always appreciate the time from you.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Man.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Hope you have a great day.

Speaker 6 (27:34):
Yeah, no problem, thanks for having me.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
All right, there he is Christian Sippolini bet MGM trading manager.
Good stuff, right there. Hey, we go from Christian to
a man who you know. I don't know if he's
Depeche Modes number one fan. He might be in the
top ten. I'm not sure he'll clear that up. The
Great Isaac Loewenkron with us here this morning.

Speaker 7 (27:53):
I just can't get enough.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
That's right, that's right. That's a song.

Speaker 8 (27:57):
Yep, And thanks to a frantic Google search fifteen seconds ago,
I know that quite well.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Something good enough.

Speaker 8 (28:05):
Did not have to frantically Google search about the action
On Saturday night in college football, as Oklahoma took down
number seven Alabama twenty four to three. Oklahoma quarterback Jackson
Arnold and running back Xavier Robinson each ran for over
one hundred yards. In Oklahoma intercepted Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe
three times. Auburn led Number fifteen Texas A and M
forty three to forty one. In the fourth round of overtime.

(28:29):
The Aggies needed to convert a two point conversion to
stay alive. Here was Andy Bircham on w g ZZ.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
The snap they flipped it back to re rolling to.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
His right, bros. To the end draft Next draft.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Aubriadwn, aubrig wins, Aabrick wins forty three forty one far
offer times Auborn.

Speaker 8 (28:52):
Among other things, the losses by Alabama and Texas A
and M mean that Georgia is clinched a spot in
the SEC Championship.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
Also on Saturday night, Yes, there you go. Wait a minute,
what's that Frank?

Speaker 4 (29:05):
That up right there?

Speaker 3 (29:06):
I love? Yes?

Speaker 7 (29:07):
Where's that coming from?

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Jeremiah? Love baby?

Speaker 8 (29:12):
So we have a thing here in our studio that
monitors the levels of what's going This is not coming
from our studio, Brian.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
It's what the people want. That's all I can say.

Speaker 7 (29:23):
Have you hacked into our system? Are you playing this
from your end?

Speaker 3 (29:27):
No?

Speaker 4 (29:27):
I'm not, but I could I could play that from
my end.

Speaker 7 (29:30):
Yes, the mystery continues.

Speaker 8 (29:32):
But indeed number six notre Dame defeated an eighteenth ranked
Army forty nine to fourteen at Yankee Stadium, breaking Army's
thirteen game winning streak. Jeremiah Love of those three touchdowns
included at sixty eight yard run happy.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
All right, there we go, maybe your best update of aault.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
I had a feeling it was headed that way.

Speaker 8 (29:53):
In the NBA on Saturday night, Denver over the Lakers
at LA one, twenty seven to one two Nikoli Jokich
thirty four points, thirteen rebounds, eight assists. And finally this morning,
big news today out of the National Hockey League, the
Saint Louis Blues fired head coach Drew Banister and replaced
him with Jim Montgomery, just five days after Montgomery was

(30:14):
fired by the Boston Bruins, who two years ago he
helped lead to an NHL record sixty five wins and
was named the NHL's Coach of the Year. Among the
reactions on social media, one fan posting quote, bold move,
but that was cold blooded, to which another fan replied,
of course, it was cold blooded. It's ice hockey.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
Back to you, guys, Absolutely well played.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
It is.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
Fox Sports Radio is Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETTMGM.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
You know, crack.

Speaker 5 (30:46):
We were talking with Christian about this Lion's Colts game
and we'll have more on this, but just at.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
The top here.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
What because you're always looking for spots, right, And I
know it's against your DNA to say, hey, this this
Lions team is just so hot right now that I'm
gonna lay the seven and a half on the road.
I know that goes generally against your gambling d N.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Definitely, right, definitely, So what's your general approach?

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Is it you're gonna look for spots to scoop up
those points or just pass? Is that where you're at
with a team like the Lions or anybody laying big points?

Speaker 3 (31:24):
I think one time this season I laid over three
and a half points in the NFL. I do not
like laying points in this NFL where, especially the early
in the season, definitely not. There's so much parody. They're
the first four or five weeks up up until the
first four or five weeks. Now later in the season.
I would probably, you know, I say I would probably

(31:46):
do it, but yet I haven't done it. So I'm
not gonna ever lay over seven. There's no way I
can't bring myself to do it seven and a half.
No way. I'm looking to maybe seven. But I'm not
even Even though I do think the Lions are probably
the best team, it doesn't take the amazing Crescin to
think that. Though in football this year, there's still some

(32:07):
things I seen by the Lions. It was a primetime
game two weeks ago. I think it was when they
played Houston and Houston was beating them up. I think
Houston just thought they had the game at the halftime.
They never scored another point in the second half. It
was the battle of It was really a second half
battle that that just Detroit just came out like a

(32:28):
like a pro super Bowl team. They just came right out.
And I said to myself. That's when I said to myself,
you know, this team is good enough this year. I
think they're gonna be in the super Bowl. That's how
good they are. But however, uh, that can all change.
You know. Once, when when Hudginson went down, I said
to myself, oh my god, this is the I did

(32:49):
a lot. I love this kid. By the way, I said, Oh,
the Lions are really hurt. How are they going to
step up now? After this? I thought they were. Boy,
they stepped up in a big way. They really have
again lay that many points. Indianapolis is still fighting kind
of every week themselves. So as a matter of fact,
the Colts are coming off the biggest win of the season. Really,

(33:10):
they're big comeback win versus the Jets. They're now five
and six, less them. Do they have hopes to make
the playoffs of five and six? Yeah, I guess so.
Sure you have to go for something. Now's the time,
though you have. You're gonna have to like win out
right now. They finally got that big game out of
their their quarterback Richardson, but it was against the Jets too,
so let's not at one time the Jets were had

(33:31):
that really good defense that last year last season, and
this week they're they're hosting the best team in the NFL.
Like I said so, and Detroit's offense, you know, it
kind of built for a dome, and the Colt should
have trouble going up against this near perfect offense. Can
they control the clock on the ground and the ground
and keep the ball out of the lion's hands. These

(33:52):
are all things that are key if they want to
have a chance, so they can't fall behind against this
lion team and expect to have a big comeback, like
I think it's the Jets. I'll tell you that.

Speaker 5 (34:01):
That's what's so frustrating about the crack challenge. We make
these picks against the spread. Five picks against the spread
ten minutes before kickoff, Yes, and crack. I'm just looking
at the bloodbath that is some of my picks over here.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Not only you, yeah, right right, it's true.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
But I'm taking the points and it's I'm not disagreeing
with you, trust me. I'm taking the points, which it
seems to be the right place.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
And the results, man, it's insane.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Where Hey, I'll take the Titans plus twelve and a half,
twelve and a half points in the NFL. Now they
lost by thirty eight, Okay, cool, Like I'll take Carolina
plus eleven.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
They're plus eleven today. Wow.

Speaker 5 (34:41):
A couple of weeks ago they lost by two touchdowns
that didn't work out, Like time and time again, I'm
taking double digit points and it does. I'm taking over
a touchdown and it hasn't worked. And that's the frustrating
thing is you'll start to that'll start to shape you
and you're like, all right, I'm not getting ahead. I'm
I'm not getting in front of this Lions freight train.

(35:02):
And that's the week where it's not a freight train
and the Colts run the ball and they shorten the game,
you know what I mean. Like, so it's just frustrating
when it seems to be you're on the right side
or you're making more of a sharper play and and
it just blows up in your face. That does happen
as well, Yes.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Sir, yes, sir. And the Crack Challenges for anyone doesn't
realize I would know what that is. That's five games
against the spread ten minutes before the game. And I say,
like I said, Brian's not alone because the public, the public,
you cannot beat the NFL betting ten minutes before the
game when the line is the most efficient. So that's
what I was pointing out. That's why we had the

(35:41):
Crack Challenge. Toughest thing to do is to beat NFL sides.
And when people are so undecided last minute, that's when
they make their bets. They have no chance in the end.
Could get lucky any one week, but in the end,
no chance.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
Yeah, that's it is.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
It is a rough, rough, rough life to live man doubt.
That's Bill Krackenberger from crackwins dot com sports handicapper. I'm
Brian know our guy Jeff Schwartz checking out the Carolina
Panthers hosting the Chiefs today. So he's not here, but
he will have his Crack Challenge picks at the end
of the show. Coming up next to parlay platder Crack

(36:17):
and I will make a selection, pull it together for
a greater payout, and we'll have that for you coming
up next. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented
by BETMGM. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff
presented by BETMGM. Every time you make a wager at BETMGM,
you earn BETMGM rewards points that can be redeemed for
things like bonus bets or converted to MGM rewards points.

(36:41):
They could be used towards dining shows and hotel rooms
at over twenty MGM resorts.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Check this out parlay latter.

Speaker 5 (36:51):
All right, Crack, we have at least one selection here.
We'll pull it together for a greater payout. What do
you have in the parlay today?

Speaker 3 (36:58):
I'm gonna go with a rare fell side. I'll tell
you bet MGM has the best line on it. Seattle
plus one first Arizona. Yeah, there's a lot of books
out here in Vegas that actually have the other team
minus one Seattle, Seattle minus one my team. So I'm
gonna take the one point and my half of the
parley platter with Seattle.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
Okay, you're going with the Hawks over there?

Speaker 3 (37:22):
All right? Nice?

Speaker 5 (37:24):
You know what, I'm gonna give you two picks here
to make up for our guy Schwenzy being out today here.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Correct.

Speaker 5 (37:30):
So I know you love the the interception props. You
love that I am all over this market. I was
seven and two last week, and I think there's good value.
I think that it's often an overlooked market. But the
interception props, I've got a few of them for you today.
I'm gonna take Anthony Richardson of the Colts and to

(37:52):
throw an interception, so over.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
Zero point five.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
Technically, if you go to the interceptions tab under the quarterbacks,
that's where you would see it. So I'll take Colts
quarterback Anthony Richardson to throw a pick against the Lions.
The Lions are tied for second in the NFL with
fourteen interceptions on the season. That's what their defense has done.
And so I would have imagine they're gonna have a
lead today, maybe a lead throughout, and Anthony Richardson's gonna

(38:20):
have to put the ball in the air. They're not
gonna turn into Army Crack, you know what I mean.
They're gonna throw the ball in the air. And Richardson's
throwing seven picks in limited action this season.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
So I think that's a.

Speaker 5 (38:30):
Good play and I'm gonna tie that to give me
the Eagles money line. I won't throw the spread out there.
They're minus three right now, but i'll go money line.
Really love them on the road against the Rams here.
I think they're gonna run the ball on the Rams
and their defense just better, So I'll take the I'll
take the Eagles here.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
So if you look at ours our plays here, you've got.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
What the Seahawks plus one right crack yep, that's right okay,
And then you throw in Anthony Richardson, you throw it
in a little Eagles season money line that gets us
to plus three ninety three, basically four to one with.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
Those three plays right there. Craig, what do you think nice.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
You know the boy. I'll tell you what and what
can you say bad about the Eagles? They are rolling
right now, so they're playing their best football the season.
The only thing is to do they run into this
Rams team that's still fighting for their playoff lives too.
This game's kind of funny. I'm seeing some two and
a half's in town here, mostly threes. Now, you know,
if it closes three almost everywhere, which it should because

(39:33):
a lot of public money money's gonna come in tonight
on so I think it'll close more tours to three.
And yeah, I actually I'm not betting the Rams. So
Philadelphia's it.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Let's go for it, Okay, nice and yeah, hey crack
to your point.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
This is go time for a number of teams.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
And you'll see this.

Speaker 4 (39:51):
In the NFL.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
You'll see teams that are four and six, you know,
five and six somewhere in that area. Sure, and they're
an after thought and they'll get hot. The Rams did
that last year. They got hot at the right time.
Think about Tom Brady in his Super Bowl season with Tampa.
They won their final four regular season games, they won
four playoff games, they won their final eight games.

Speaker 4 (40:12):
They got hot at the right time.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
So there are gonna be some teams that are under
five hundred right now that will sneak into the playoffs somehow, someway.

Speaker 3 (40:21):
This is it. Week twelve to week fourteen is when
those teams have to step up and start sweeping.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
Really, they've ended that it's go time.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
Yep, all right, coming up next, it sure looks like
a get right spot for a team that's dropped a
couple in a row.

Speaker 4 (40:35):
We'll preview their game coming up.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
Oh, good morning, less than two hours away from kickoff
here in week twelve, fired up some great games this week, Crack.
The primetime games are really good matchups. Some great matchups
during the day as well.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
This is not one of them.

Speaker 5 (40:53):
Okay, the Cowboys at the Washington Commanders. But hey, this
looks be a get right spot for Washington. They've dropped
two in a row. We know that Dallas thinks to
the high heavens. But where it gets tricky is the
point spread. Washington favored by ten and a half.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Crack.

Speaker 5 (41:12):
You don't like laying over three points. No, you don't
like laying over seven points. You must you must start
sweating bullets if you think about laying over ten points.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Right, But I'm not taking this garbage can team, this
cowboy team.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
I've got to do that, take them.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
Yeah No, I mean then you know, hey, listen, the
imagine a team has lost two in a row and
then they're ten and a half point favorites. I mean
the Commanders, like I said that, they've lost two in
a row. Off that last second hel Mary win with
the Bears a few weeks ago. Last week to goup
twenty points on the fourth quarter to the Eagles lost

(41:50):
twenty six to eighteen. But like I said, Dallas has
just looked so terrible, especially after losing Dak Prescott averaging
only eight points a game on offense since Cooper Rush
took over. But it's been against two really good defenses.
I understand Houston and Philly. Like you said, ten and
a half point favorite. God, you know how I feel

(42:11):
about these double digit favorites to begin with. And you know,
I know people love to go to the counter though
and throw them in their money line parlay. I get it,
I really do, And normally I would definitely say that's
The sportsbook loves that too. They love you enhancing a
parlay with a team like this because you're not getting

(42:32):
a lot of ROI you're not getting a lot back.
I know it looks a lot easier, and it probably
is a little easier as we go into weeks in
ten eleven, twelve than it was early in the season,
but I still tend not to do that though. I
do know some pros that are looking to bet. I
know a pro that BET's a three team ten point

(42:56):
teaser where he takes down the exactly like ten and
a half down to the half, which means they just
have to win. So he's not not really betting a
money line parlay, but he's betting a teaser where he
has to win all three of them. And he'll take
these favorites like the like the Lions, as long as
they're not over twelve and a half. And uh sometimes

(43:17):
he'll even he'll even go the other way with I
say go the other way. He'll even go through the zero,
which is uh. I grew up as a no no,
never go through zero on a teaser. You're paying for
something that doesn't happen. I mean it, you know the
rare you know, overtime tide or something, but you're just
you're just paying for something that doesn't happen, so I

(43:39):
don't choose to do that. But going back to Washington,
the quarterback a White who really showed us on primetime
who he was this season. He's looked more human these
past two weeks and maybe the defenses are starting to
figure out the offensive coordinator there Kingsbury's plan. And you
know what, I'll tell you what he left. I think

(44:02):
he was when he left Arizona. I think he went
to like like Pouquette or Thailand for like a you know,
six months, and I thought he wasn't going to be
back in football. So he's back. Good for Cliff to
come back with this team and had to have a
kid like Jayden Daniels. But then again, don't don't forget
about this too. This is a division rival, so sometimes

(44:24):
the records don't mean anything in division division games.

Speaker 5 (44:26):
So yeah, that's the thing with the Cowboys is the
first part of this is it's hard to make a
living in the NFL when you can't run the ball
and you can't stop the rush. And that's Dallas. They're
thirty first in bolts categories, like that's that's Awful's there?
They can't run the ball there, They're thirty first in

(44:47):
rushing offense. They're thirty first in rushing defense. That's really difficult.
And think about that crack, the ripple effect. You want
to take as much pressure off of Cooper rush as possible.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
How do you do that? Well, you run the ball.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
He's not expected to do as much. Well, guess what
you can't. You can't do it now. The thing in
this matchup, both rush defenses are bad. Washington is thirtieth
against the rush. But the Cowboys I don't look for
them to have great success on the ground, know Zach
Martin today that hurts the rushing attack. And the Cowboys
just have not been able to run the ball on anyone.

(45:23):
And the difference with these teams is Washington quietly has
a really good rushing offense and Jayden Daniels is a
part of that crack. He's he slowed it down a
little bit with that rib injury, so we'll see if
he cranks it up today against Dallas. But Brian Robinson
Junior and Austin Eckler, the running game all together is
fifth in the NFL, and that's that's a pretty good

(45:46):
rushing offense over there. With Washington sixth in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
Hey, did you ever think this line? You look at
the beginning of the season, when the sportsbooks including BET
and GM has a pre flop line on many, many
games and throughout the whole season. I mean, Dallas was
a favorite. Would you ever think this will be a
ten and a half point spread the other way?

Speaker 4 (46:12):
Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 3 (46:13):
This has got to be the biggest one, the biggest
flip flop of the year has to be. Uh. I'm
thinking here, it was minus three and a half. Someone
texts me this earlier in the week. I think it
was minus three and a half and you're talking about
a two touchdown difference.

Speaker 5 (46:28):
Yeah, in a line under crazy mini soapbox crack and
we'll get onto another game here.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
Sure.

Speaker 5 (46:34):
That's why when these people when the schedule comes out
and they go week by week and they say, all right,
let's see the Dallas Cowboys schedule, all right, Week twelve
against Washington win, It's like, bro, you have no idea
what the scenario is gonna be.

Speaker 4 (46:48):
No Dak Prescott today.

Speaker 5 (46:50):
That's a big piece of information that you don't have
when you do the win loss thing when the schedule
initially comes out. I do I never will understand, understand
the win loss thing. And whenever the schedule comes out,
I don't even know the month, like July or August
or whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
I don't get that, but we move it along.

Speaker 5 (47:08):
How about this crack the Vikings at the Bears some
line movement. We've gone down, Lions. I'm sorry the Vikings. Yeah,
they were favored by three and a half, now only
favored by three. It's the third straight road game for
the Vikings, and man with the Bears offense, that Bears
offense is just a rack right now. And this is

(47:30):
the number one rush defense with Minnesota. And if the
Bears can't run the ball effectively, well there's there more
on Caleb Williams shoulders to throw the ball and their
yards to be gained on this Vikings pass defense. But
this seems to be a grinder to me. The under
has it's ticked down on the under a little bit
throughout the week, but I just don't see a whole

(47:51):
lot of points in this one crack.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
Well, you know you're right. This came down from three
and a half to three. The Vikings are, by the way,
it's plus remus five at bet MGM. Always good to
get if you're betting, I'll tell you what. I like
to always see the alternative lines around these kind of
grinded out type of games. I hate that I actually
missed the Bears in this one, because I actually may

(48:15):
have pulled the trigger on the Bears if I gave
it some more thought. I don't like doing a lot
of NFL sides, but this is one of them I
probably would have done. It's easy to look at the
back of that now, but ident again. The Vikings are
back on track free straight wins. Their defense has been
one of the best in the NFL, only allowing eleven
points per game in those last three wins. They now
sit atop their division eight and two. They've already surpassed

(48:39):
their season win number. The Bears just can't seem to
catch a break at the end of these games, too.
Lost another heartbreaker last week on the last player of
the game, Greenbay blocked the last second field goal to
beat the Bears twenty to nineteen. Even though it seems
the Bears are losing late in the fourth quarter, the
major problem has been how they've started games. Though they've

(49:00):
been outscored forty two to thirteen in the first quarter
this season. You know today they played the best first
court team of the year too, the Vikings, So Minnesota
jumped out to a big early lead. Most of their wins,
they've outscored opponents eighty two to twenty in the first quarter.
So maybe if you're looking for that Bears team, that
comeback team, maybe it goes away. It's scripted here and

(49:23):
you get the better live Bears team plus seven and
a half or something like that. Let's see if it
holds true. It should be a good old fashioned black
and Blue Division battle. I'll tell you that this deuld
be a fun, fun game.

Speaker 5 (49:35):
It sure does look like that crack no doubt. And
you talk about two just disgusting losses in the last
four weeks for the Bears. The loss last week, as
you said, against the Packers, have a last second field goal, Hey,
they're gonna win it. Finally, they're gonna beat the Packers,
no blocked kick. They lose that one. And then just
a few weeks before that, the Hail Mary they gave

(49:57):
up against Shadon Daniels in the Washington You flip those
two results. This is a six and four Bears team
instead of a four and six Bears team. But that's
the thing you got to keep in mind is when
you play this game of they should have won, as
you're handicapping the next game. Yeah, the Bears should have
beaten the Packers last week, but think about that earlier

(50:18):
in the season, they should have beaten the Washington Commanders.
Just don't give up a Hail Mary and you win
that game. So if you're using that, like the next
week against Arizona, hey, the Bears should have beaten Washington,
I'm going to back the Bears.

Speaker 4 (50:31):
Well, they lost by twenty on the road against the
Arizona you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (50:34):
Like, sometimes it can bite you if you're thinking they
should have won or this should have happened, you have
to go by what did happen.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
Also, sure, this is a really good spot for the Bears, though,
I'll just tell you you're catching a Minnesota Minnesota team
that's another road game, fourth and five weeks. I'll tell
you it's a really good spot for this feisty Bears team.
And I'm just looking at a board this one when
this game opened up, How did I miss the four Jesus?

(51:06):
I like to bet Sunday nights when the lines come up.
People don't know that. So the lines actually come up
tonight for next week's game. Now they've been up already,
you could bet the future. But but the lines are adjusted,
come back up tonight after today's games. And this line
was foured a couple different spots. Kind of mad at myself,
so I cannot bring myself to take three. But you know,

(51:30):
like I said, maybe a live bet. I'll tell you,
maybe even a money line bet live. So let's you
know after they after Minnesota does what they do in
the first quarter, the Bears do what they do in
the first quarter, so this would be an It's an
interesting spot I would I would like to say that
I'm going to be paying attention to this game, which
normally when we're done on our show, I go and

(51:51):
grab some breakfast, bring my iPad out, watch the red zone,
and the have the lines up. I'll be paying attention.
This is the one game that I'll be paying attention
to to maybe jump on Chicago Live. And how often
do I this season? I don't think I've talked about
something like that in the first eleven weeks of the
regular season. This is the first week I've ever said that,
So I'm glad we've talked about and covered this game

(52:13):
because I look to maybe grab Chicago Live.

Speaker 5 (52:16):
I think that's one of the most important things to
keep in mind.

Speaker 3 (52:19):
Crack.

Speaker 5 (52:19):
I'm curious what you think about it, but preaching how
much the spot matters, because think about this, just a
couple of weeks ago, the Bears at home against the Patriots,
the Bears offense gained one hundred and forty two yards.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
That's all.

Speaker 5 (52:35):
They had, one hundred and forty two yards offense. And
so the point I'm trying to make is you might
think about that as it relates to today's game against
the Vikings, where it's like, man, this Bears offense is broken.
They gained one hundred and forty two yards against the Patriots.
But the thing to your point that you've got to
keep in mind, it's the spot. It's not about what

(52:55):
has recently happened as much as what's this current situation.
What are we that's what we've seen, what are we
about to see? And with the Vikings their third straight
road game, I think those numbers are gonna look different.
I'll tell you this, The Bears are gonna gain a
lot more than one hundred and forty two yards today

(53:15):
even against this Vikings defense because of the spot. Like,
the spot is it's everything. I feel like, Rag, what
do you think? What do you say about that?

Speaker 3 (53:24):
Yeah, and it is it is the spot. But you know,
think about thinking about this Bears team that they had
the Commanders throw that last second Helmer by the way,
the Commanders were winning control of that game. They got lucky.
The Bears even get ahead of that game, but they
did didn't matter. So the next week they come out
just dejected. They go to they go to Arizona and

(53:46):
just get blown away from Arizona twenty nine to nine.
But the next week shocked me. The week you're talking
about the Patriots in Chicago. The Patriots just nineteen to three.
Come on, and that's why the NFL so hard to bet.
Now you have a team that was, like I said, dejected,
so upset, players being suspended. After that, the debacle in Washington,

(54:11):
Washington beats them. They come out and lose by twenty
to Arizona. They at home, they get embarrassed. I think
they were a six and a half point favorite in
that game versus the Patriots. They get embarrassed at home.
But yet the next week against the really tough Green
Bay Packers. They come out and I thought they were

(54:32):
gonna win the game. I mean, and they probably should
have won the game. So that's why any given Sunday,
like I say, guys, anything cannon will happen. That's why
it's very very important for you to have bankroll management
when something looks so good and you want to put
extra money on it. This is gonna sound hard to believe. Guys. Listen,
you should bet one to three percent of your gambling

(54:54):
bank role per game. Now that's not the bank roll
you have to go out to dinner or your wife,
to go to your your buddy's, to the bar, to
go to a show, to go avocate, just your gambling
bankroll one to three percent. That means if you have
one thousand dollars for gambling, that's right, you're gonna got
twenty grocery dollars. Now, people say, are you crazy. I
can never do that if I have a doubt, especially

(55:16):
where I just was in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia,
all these these hardworking cities. I can go across America
or the blue collar, hardworking cities and tell you this, Brian,
the whole thousand goes in action today, doesn't matter. There's
no one to three percent. They'll find money somewhere else.
But I'll just tell you the way I got to

(55:39):
be to be in the position that I did in
life was to bet a percentage of bankroll and not
over bet and not chase. So something looks so good,
like I said, the Packers probably look great, you know,
but you forget when they you know, it's a division game,
tight games like we talked about like this, right.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
Yep, uh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (56:07):
Craig Crack just dropped for a second, but yeah, picking
up what he was just saying. I was worried it
was me that dropped, Crack, but picking up what he
was just saying. Yeah, it's interesting. The bank roll management thing.
It is so important, man, because yeah, there are games
that look so good and you want to put extra money,
and those are the games that sometimes bite you. I

(56:28):
put it like this, if I could put a bow
on what Crack was saying right there, think about it
like this. If you are in a like a picks
contest or even I'll use the show from yesterday so
we do Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM on Saturdays, also,
so I'm with Rich Hornberger with Jared Smith, and at

(56:50):
the end of the show we each give three picks.
We give three picks apiece. And I hate to say it,
but I loved Old Miss yesterday. I'm like, man, they're
gonna dice up this floor to secondary. They're banged up,
they're bad, and yeah, they hit a couple of shock plays,
but the Old Miss minus twelve and a half terrible,

(57:11):
terrible play they lost outright didn't work out at all.
But it's one pick. Like I, we make three picks
at the end of the show. I love that Old
Miss pick. I can't put any more. Then it's just
one pick. It's one selection. I can't say I want
this to count for two or three selections, I would
have been down even bigger. So it's and I had

(57:33):
a winning day. I was two and one, and the
Old Miss pick was the one I loved the most.
And if I put extra on it, it would have
cost me more. So to Cracks point, that's often the
way it does work out is he's right. He didn't
get to the position he's in by just going all
in every single week. You know you're gonna run into
a bad week. And then what well your bankroll screwed?

Speaker 4 (57:55):
That's how it goes.

Speaker 5 (57:56):

Speaker 4 (59:02):
All right, crack.

Speaker 5 (59:03):
So we dive into this matchup Tampa at the Giants.
Giants will look different here. There's six point underdogs and
it's kind of fitting, I guess because they.

Speaker 4 (59:14):
Don't have any more. Uh Daniel Jones right, number six
pick of the draft.

Speaker 5 (59:19):
He's gone. He was benched. He has to be released.
They granted it for him. So we get Tommy Cutlet's
that's right, we get tom Tommy DeVito over here today.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
I just laugh at that name. You know, I was
just back there. So I'm at this place real close
to the action, say, real close to the stadium, but
you know, within ten twelve minutes of the stadium there's
a hot dog, famous hot dog place called Rut's Hut.
And Rut's Hut yesterday I stopped in there before my flight.
Oh my god, it was packed. The hut was packed.

(59:53):
I knew cars everywhere, couldn't even fit in the parking lot.
And it's a stand around place. You know, it's not
one of those they have the bar area in the back.
You can go sit down. But it's the stand around
Monday morning quarterback place where most people eat their hot dogs,
and and uh, you know, it's funny. All the talk
was about Daniel Jones and how he quit and how

(01:00:15):
bad of a guy he is. He's not a team player.
He should look them, and how much the Veto. It's
good for the Vito, it's good for the Giants. So
just to hear all those guys, I forgot how close
I was to the stadium and these multiple conversations around me.
But like you said, waving, how about one hundred and

(01:00:36):
sixty million, like like that's just unbelievable that that all
this money and this guy you know, was benched and
now asked to you know, be traded so or let go.
So the move really seems like the Giants are possibly
tanking to get the first pick of the draft next year,
but that doesn't always work out. The Veto gets the
start for the Giants. This total has slowly dropped down

(01:00:58):
a little bit too, down to like forty now. So
both these teams come into this game struggling with four
of the five or four or five games losing streaks.
The Bucks should get their star receiver Mike Evans back.
I don't know how healthy he'll be. Yeah, it's gonna
help Mayfield probably though, Uh Tampa, Tampa plays a pretty

(01:01:19):
aggressive defense too. This could be trouble for to Vido.
Like you said, Tommy Cutlet's what a what a great
nickname in North Jersey.

Speaker 5 (01:01:25):
It's perfect, it is, it's so awesome. And that's because
that's uh, his mom prepares chicken cutlets for him. That's
his favorite meal. So that's that Tommy Cutlet's over here.

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Oh, he was out there, he was using he was
out there. Like after the media got ahold of that,
there was there was places giving him ten twenty thousand
to show up. H oh yeah, Italian delis and restaurants,
and he.

Speaker 4 (01:01:48):
Took advantage of it as he should, right, it would
show up.

Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
Yeah, his agent's half a con man.

Speaker 4 (01:01:53):
But yeah, that's the other part of it. Yeah, yeah,
I remember that drama going on with that.

Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
But hey, listen, Tampa, it's a great opportunity for them.
It's a great get right spot. You mentioned, Mike Evans back.
If you win this game, you're five and six and
you're in the wild card.

Speaker 4 (01:02:10):
Chase, you're in the Divisional Chase.

Speaker 5 (01:02:12):
Actually you're a couple of games behind and he got
swept by the Falcons. But the Falcons are only two
games clear of you, right, and so you win this game.
I was looking at the season win totals as it
stands right now, Crack, Tampa stood out the most if
you look at BETMGM.

Speaker 4 (01:02:30):
This made me say, whoa wow.

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
So Tampa is four and six right now at BETMGM,
their season win total is eight and a half. They
would have to win five more games here down the stretch.
They'd have to go five and two down the stretch,
And I'm like, wow, is Tampa gonna go five and two?
Listen to their schedule though, Crack, it's very favorable at
the Giants, at the Panthers, Raiders, at the Chargers, at

(01:02:56):
the Cowboys, Panthers, Saints. That's what Tampa has left.

Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
Yeah, yeah, you know, I went the reason why I'm
looking down here because you mentioned BEDMGM. That's a bet
I love, absolutely love. There's no other sportsbook here in
Nevada that you could do this. I love. BETMGM has
these regular season wins updated all the time. Also, and

(01:03:22):
Tampa Bay's eight and a half under forty the regular
season wins. And I can just tell you the Giants,
boy Jesus four and a half under thirty. Some of
these bad teams, though, you know, people look at them.
I feel you're paying attax if you're betting these bad

(01:03:42):
teams under. Now, what I mean by that is the
public just sees how bad certain teams are. I'm not
looking to go under on a lot of these bad
teams because I know that's the way the public is going.
So I may look at the over. Now there's one team,
just to let you know this is just spontaneous here,
there is one team I bet under on bet MGM

(01:04:04):
has ten and a half over fifty, under ten and
a half plus a quarter. I like that number two
under ten and a half. I did bet under on
the Steelers after the game the other night. The Steelers
are just in my opinion, I don't mean to go
to two different games here, but the Steelers are just fraudulent.
I'm sorry, listen. I think that they have a tough

(01:04:28):
second half of the season here. They're one of these
teams that literally first and second down has done nothing
late in the game. They they the third, third downs
have saved them a few games ago. They got out
yarded by two yards per play and somehow came in
with a victory. So I just like I said, I

(01:04:48):
didn't mean to talk about a game that was right
now by the way, we could talk about that game, Brian.
So I'm back east. Sportsbook that back East had thirty
nine on the total, which was actually forty two. Like,
how can you bet a game that was forty two?
It goes down to thirty nine? How could you bet
the under on that thirty eight and a half thirty nine?

(01:05:08):
It moved already, but I knew there was gonna be
a syndicate, a sports bending Citdicon on the under. There also,
they came in right after me, and they bet the
under thirty seven and a half. The game went down
to thirty six. For a hair, there was even a
thirty five and a half. I sent it out to
the guys on the chat under thirty eight and a half.

(01:05:29):
I had told you I was back East to add
a sportsbook with a thirty nine. I was at my
buddy's charity event that night, didn't watch the game. All
I checked was one score, ten to three halftime, and
then I think it was I think the start of
the fourth quarter was only sixteen points. Like the fourth quarter,
I didn't know anything, but I didn't watch anything. All

(01:05:50):
I seen was some highlights. I didn't even know it
was snowing like that or there was snow on the
field like that just goes to show you how the
wind means everything more than snow on the field where
they can clear things out for a field goal where
they still have their footing. The wind means everything. But
that also shows me that nothing. Of course I know this,

(01:06:11):
but it should show the public nothing is a lock.
I go back to look at the text of all
you guys, oh my guys in the chat, Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (01:06:21):
Yeah right, what drama about the hell? What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:06:24):
Yeah? Yeah, So like I almost count your money going
into the fourth quarter, which sixteen points scored and snow
on the field and grinding away and somehow I don't
really know what whether they might have scored twenty seven
in the fourth quarter, they can bind for twenty seven,
twenty seven points in the fourth quarter, and that kind
of conditions. And that's why. But to be honest with you,

(01:06:47):
I love watching that kind of football. I love snow
on the field, and that's the football when all these
teams now are going to domes and indoor I like
the old fashioned, like Buffalo Bills games. I'm glad they're
not going to a dome. They're just sticking there because
I like the outdoor type of stadiums. That's what I like.
And but hey, that was a loss that we had

(01:07:09):
that you have to come away with it. Yeah, you
shake your head. You were on the right side of
the line and maybe on the right side of the game.
But it just shows me this Pittsburgh Steeler team, they
just have no heart. They have no heart. I love
the under here. The season wins is a bet I
can give out the people. You can go into bet
MGM under ten and a half plus a quarter. I think.

(01:07:31):
I don't think that's a bad bet. Don't don't go
crazy and bet over bet it. But I love how
you can do that. And you could bet these season
wins after every week is up. And like you said,
we were talking about Tampa Bay eight and a half
under forty, and of course I just talked about the
Giants four and a half under thirty. It's just another
way to bet and give yourself a route without having

(01:07:53):
tons of action on the side. That's what I feel
it is too, so just something else I figured i'd
throw at you.

Speaker 5 (01:07:58):
You know, you talk about you know the elements, right
that Steelers game on the road and the snow and
the wind and all that. You know, who loves attending
games in the elements. That would be Isaac lowan front
rule of thumb. If it's you know, ten degrees are
lower shirtless every time, and it's a rollodex of games

(01:08:21):
he's been.

Speaker 4 (01:08:22):
At shirtless, right, I love Do I have that?

Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
I have you mixed up with somebody.

Speaker 8 (01:08:27):
Pantsless, shirtless, same same kind of deal, Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
Yeah, yeah, right, yeah, just the bathing suit when it's
ten or below.

Speaker 8 (01:08:34):
Yeah, I mean I'm immune to all. See right now? Yeah,
right now, that's what's.

Speaker 7 (01:08:40):
Happening literally in the studio.

Speaker 8 (01:08:43):
Yes, fellas gonna be another electric day in the National
Football League, with no shortage of powers in action during
the seven early games, including the nine to one Kansas
City Chiefs visiting Carolina. The seven and four Washington Commanders
will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas Tyler Smith inactive
due to an ankle injury. They were already missing their

(01:09:04):
other starting guard, Zach Martin, who had been ruled out
with ankle and shoulder injury. Chicago Bears running back DeAndre
Swift and receiver Keenan Allen both active against.

Speaker 7 (01:09:14):
The eight and two Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 8 (01:09:15):
New York Giants receiver Malik Neighbors is active against Tampa
Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans is active as well. Miami
left tackle Tron Armstead also active for their game against
the New England Patriots. And big news this morning in
the National Hockey League, the Saint Louis Blues fired head
coach Drew Bannister and replaced him with Jim Montgomery, just

(01:09:39):
five days after Montgomery was fired by the Boston Bruins,
who two years ago he helped lead to an NHL
record sixty five wins and was named the NHL's Coach
of the Year.

Speaker 7 (01:09:50):
Fellas back to You.

Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
Thank You. I LO.

Speaker 5 (01:09:52):
It is Fox Sports Radios Campdown to Kickoff presented by
BETMGM all season long. Betmgm's offering you a second chance
on your first touchdown bet in the NFL. When a
customer plays is an NFL wager on a first touchdown
score bet and he doesn't score first, but score second,
Bet MGM will return one of their stake back in cash.

Speaker 4 (01:10:13):
All right, let's do this.

Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
Let's go rush, let's second chance score.

Speaker 3 (01:10:18):
This might be our last opportunity man.

Speaker 5 (01:10:20):
All Right, crack, We're looking for a first touchdown scorer
and hopefully, worst case, if he doesn't score first but
score second, we get our stake back in cash.

Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
Who do you have circled here?

Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
Yeah, let's go to David Montgomery plus three seventy five
in the in the Detroit Lions Colts game. I like
taking something on their five to one in these situations
where you get your money back on this if he
scores a second touchdown. So David Montgomery plus three seventy five.

Speaker 5 (01:10:46):
Okay, I'm gonna go to this Chiefs Panthers game, especially
after a loss against the Bills. I side with the
Chiefs to score a touchdown first. Crack, I start with that,
and so I'm gonna go with DeAndre Hopkins. De happ
has scored a couple of touchdowns with the Chiefs, He's
been a big part of their offense, and he's at

(01:11:07):
eight to one. So I'll go with DeAndre Hopkins to
score the first touchdown in that Chiefs Panthers game.

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
A little bit great, great promotion, giving them money back
on the Yeah, if he scores the second second touchdown.
So yeah again, uh, these these situations for myself don't
come up too often. I don't bet a lot of
props into a market that's like a one way market.
But situationally here with this promo, yeah, I like to

(01:11:35):
bet some of these, some of these guys first, first time,
first score, first touchdown score.

Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
Absolutely Okay, he's Bill Krackenberger from crack wins dot com.
I'm Brian. Now our guy Jeff Schwartz boots on the

Speaker 3 (01:11:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, yeah, I think he was trying

Ah, yes, the prop betting market. Crack your bread and
butter over here.

Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
Share some goodness with us.

Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
What do you like today, boy, I'll tell you what.
There's so many to give you, but let's start out
with the Chicago Bears. I'll have more as we go
throughout the show. Here, start out with so i'd start
with Swift. I'm on Swift also, but i'll give you
that one in a second under Allen under receiving yards.

(01:14:09):
I think he may be watched, you know, I think
he may be washed up. Tough mental match up here,
I understand. I hate to say someone's washed up in
the NFL. I'm just wanting. I'm looking for the yards
right now for you guys. I want to give you
the ones at bet MGM. I'm going to give you
the right one. It might be.

Speaker 5 (01:14:27):
I think it's at forty and a half right now,
right now, three and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
Yeah, so again, I also did. I also did bet
Swift under his rushing yards and at his rushing attempts
even but let's give allan out for now. Yeah, you're right,
I see thirty nine and a half, So under thirty
nine and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:14:48):
There you got GM nice.

Speaker 5 (01:14:51):
I'm gonna go with Sam Darnold Vikings quarterback to throw
an interception here today, crack.

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
It's the third road game.

Speaker 5 (01:14:58):
Bears defense pretty good, good, they've been a decent team
as far as getting interceptions as well. I'll get the
exact stat for you here real fast, where if you
look at them, I always do this breakdown where it's
not just what the quarterback has done, it's what the
defense has done that you're facing here today, you know,
so if you look at Minshew, I'm sorry at Sam Donald.

(01:15:22):
Sam Donald has thrown ten interceptions. The Bears have gotten
as a defense nine interceptions on the season, so that's
tied for tenth in the league. So Donald's thrown you know,
only Gino has thrown more interceptions. He's thrown some of
the one of the highest totals in the league. Sam
Donald in picks, and he's going up against the Bears

(01:15:44):
defense and the spot.

Speaker 4 (01:15:45):
I like the spot as well. You always preach the spot.

Speaker 5 (01:15:48):
Yeah, So Donald, he's basically he's only looking up at
three quarterbacks have thrown more picks than him, Gino, Smith, Patrick,
Mahomes and Jordan Love How crazy is that list? But
Sam Arnold is right next in line. I think he
throws a pick today against the Bears. You could get
that at minus one twenty five at bet MGM. It's
technically the over point five, right, like he throws one interception.

(01:16:12):
So I think Donald throws a pick here today. That's
what I would go A good deal. Nice, there's a
funny anything else you have circle that you want to
mention here? Crack you want to wait a little bit
later to give it out?

Speaker 3 (01:16:22):
Oh wait, I just gave him. I just gave him
an extra one there with with Swift under so Alan
under Swift under a couple Bears under. Yet I think
it's probably a good spot for the Bears today in
the game. But I do like those those props.

Speaker 4 (01:16:36):
Under pretty wild.

Speaker 5 (01:16:38):
Wow, the Keenan Allen total has dropped even more now
it's thirty eight and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:16:43):
You might have moved the market just live.

Speaker 3 (01:16:45):
Oh yeah, they live. I'll tell you what else just dropped?
Indianapolis pretty solid seven But yet yet bet MGM with
one of the last and only two of them on
my screen of forty books, with seven and a half
betmg has seven and a half on Indy, So I'm
sure no one's rushing out there to bet against the Lions.

(01:17:05):
But if you are, all seven's on the screen, bet
MGM at plus seven and a half minus fifteen. Still,
it's just something I like to tell you guys when
I see live lines.

Speaker 4 (01:17:15):
No, that's important.

Speaker 5 (01:17:16):
And that's the thing, man, If anybody out there is
on the Colts plus the points, get it in at
BETMGM right, so plus seven and a half because that
could move.

Speaker 3 (01:17:26):
Good move.

Speaker 5 (01:17:27):
I always get a kick with the prop betting market
here crack where some of it just the random movement
where you mentioned the Colts. I noticed that Colts tight
end Moe Ali Cox Yep. His receiving yardage, it's ticked
up a bit. It's gone from two and a half
yards receiving to three and a half yards receiving here today.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
That's something how that that's something that happens sometimes. Now
I'm not saying that's anything to do with this spread
that opened up at eight, which we talked to Christian about.
Opened up an eights down to seven now means Indianapolis
is getting more action. And what that means is is
that like I said, INDI's getting more action. Does it

(01:18:11):
affect the prop market? Maybe on key players, maybe on
some of these guys like that, But I would think
it's an independent bet and someone's just betting on that independently.
But think about it. If you're on the calls anyway,
you're gonna hope someone like him has a good game,
so they may draw some parallels there when betting props

(01:18:33):
when a full when a game moves a full point
off of to a key number of seven from eight.
So yeah, you have it.

Speaker 4 (01:18:40):
Right now, there's a trickle down effect. It's correlated.

Speaker 5 (01:18:43):
You love that word, right, or he's connected for sure
someone else. I got my eye on Bo Nix of
the Denver Broncos. He had a great game last week
against the Falcons crack. You look at his numbers, twenty
eight for thirty three over three hundred yards, passing, four
touch downs, no pick. He had a day, but the
spot against the Raiders. I think that if you look

(01:19:06):
at the completions, the passing attempts, you look at that market,
he's at twenty and a half completions, thirty and a
half passing attempts. I think the Broncos are gonna have
some success running the football here today they might have
a lead and to get a little bit conservative in
the fourth quarter. What do you think about bo Nicks

(01:19:26):
off a hot week, maybe fading some of these numbers,
like the completions or the passing attempts.

Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
What do you want? Well, one of the guys I
really respect in the game is only two or three
that I respect in the NFL. This game opened up
at three. This Denver game up to five, five and
a half, even some six is on board here, betmgm
five and a half. You know he likes Denver's team
total over likes denver Over first half, overgame. So you

(01:19:55):
know I have to go and with him there. I'm
not looking to fade Nicks at all for sure. So
we'll see what happens today. Like they said, that game
open the three went to five and a half. It's
a big move.

Speaker 5 (01:20:06):
If any you're gonna fade anyone, you're fading minshew.

Speaker 4 (01:20:09):
Right, that's the way it goes.

Speaker 5 (01:20:11):
Right Coming up next, this team has been a disappointment
and now they're banged up on top of it. Ah,
welcome in Happy Week twelve to you. Less than an
hour away from kickoff, pushing forward to those one pm
Eastern kick times.

Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
This is gonna be an afternoon game, crack.

Speaker 5 (01:20:29):
But we've got the Niners at the Green Bay Packers,
and a lot of line movement in this this game
this week, and it makes sense because no Brock Purty
he's out. No Nick Bosa he's also out. So we
get Brandon Allen. He will be the starting quarterback for
the forty nine ers. And so the line has just

(01:20:50):
moved throughout the week. It's up to right now, green
Bay favored by six at bet MGM. The total obviously
is ticked down as well with these injuries for the Niners.
And this is a disappointing Niners team. They're five and five, Crack,
they lose this game. I mean, I'm not a math wizard,
but they're five and six. It's a losing record. If

(01:21:11):
they dropped this game on the road in Green Bay.
All of a sudden, this season looks rough.

Speaker 3 (01:21:15):
This was a top four team if you picked the
beginning of the season. Look at the odds. They were
literally picked, like I say, picked the odds with a
favorite to win the Super Bowl. They were favorite. They
were like second choice at one place. I seen third
and fourth, so they were like the top team to
be picked here. And let me just tell you though,
you know, my brain works different than a lot of people.

(01:21:38):
My brain works when the public heres, oh my god,
party's out. Oh my god, this guy's out. This guy's out,
So now they want to jump by. No, no, you
cannot bet this game. Now, you cannot bet green Bay
now after you've could have had well, I'm not going
to say, let me, let me look at the screen
real quick. Obviously this game open green Bay minus one, okay,

(01:22:02):
went to minus two, even two and a half. Stood
there when the questions started coming out about Purdy, No,
you can lay three, Yeah, you can't lay six. Now.
The only thing you could do is bet san fran now.
But the public seems to just hear that and say, oh,
I gotta just bet green Bet This team should have
lost last week versus Chicago, so just think about that.

(01:22:27):
And they played much better first half of the season
I think too. Green Bay. Granted, I think there's still
a playoff caliber team and they're gonna keep rolling along here,
I understand, but you just can't bet them and lay
the wood on these type of games. After the move,
I'll just tell you that. So yeah, a strong six.

(01:22:47):
By the way, it's six and six minus fifteen at
many shops. So it's still an interesting one because the
five and five forty nine Ers, they need this game
probably more than the seven and three Green Bay Pack
And of course the big news what we said, Purdy,
this line is just like I said, there's just no
the reason why I'm saying this because someone this morning

(01:23:09):
said to me, oh, I see a five and a
half on on green Bay. No, you can't outlay it now.
I hate to say, I'm not gonna just I'm not
gonna say the suckers bet it now. But that's what
you're kind of a sucker. Even if it wins, I
don't care. You just can't bet it now. The forty
nine Ers need this game more than Green Bay. They

(01:23:30):
have to string a couple wins together to solidify a
playoff spot. The Packers do have a little bit of
revenge on their minds san Frank knocking them out of
the playoffs twenty nineteen, twenty one, twenty three. Jordan Love
looked more healthy every week, so made some big plays
last week against the Bears. Surprisingly, the Packers have allowed
the least amount of sacks in the NFL so far

(01:23:52):
this year their own sack boast. I'm sorry both with
both out today, san Franz got to find a way
to make love uncomfortable. But I'll just tell you I
get emotional. I get a little emotional is the wrong word,
but I get a little pumped up when I see
everyone jumping on this team. Now, even at minus six, no,

(01:24:15):
I'd actually lean to the dog at this line. So
it's still san fran They still you know, when someone's injured,
especially I'll use an NBA game one, like a Lebron
James is injured.

Speaker 4 (01:24:29):
It happens all the time.

Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
Someone steps into his shoes. That guy can probably start
on any team, So I'll usually play the injured team.
So there you go.

Speaker 5 (01:24:39):
But there's a letdown factor, right like the guy filling
in for Lebron. It certainly isn't Lebron. But your boys
can play a little bit, of course, but the letdown
factor is there. So that's my question with Green Bay.
Is there any type of letdown factor? Seriously, because think
of if brock Purty is fully healthy, if Nick Bosa
is fully healthy. Okay, let's let's go time, man. This

(01:25:00):
is a big test. Is there any letdown factor where
it's like, oh, it's Brandon Allen. We don't have Nick Bosa,
right right, Like that matters. And listen one thing that
you said there Green Bay. This is what's surprising to me.
Green Bay has done a great job of protecting their quarterback.
They've given up thirteen sacks throughout the season, that's the

(01:25:21):
fewest in the entire league. And yet Jordan Love still
has eleven interceptions. How is that he's getting protected and
yet still turning the ball over. He takes a lot
of chances, and this is a game where the recipe
should be, Hey, let's play complimentary football. We always bristle
at the game manager tagline crack, but that's what Jordan

(01:25:45):
Love should do. Look to make plays, obviously, but manage
the game. Because you're favored by six at home, you're
going up against Brandon Allen, Like, this isn't the game
to take wild chances where you got to go toe
to toe with the Lions.

Speaker 4 (01:25:58):
You know, this is a game where you should manage it.

Speaker 5 (01:26:01):
And the last thing I gotta say to you, you
reminded me of Rosie Perez.

Speaker 4 (01:26:06):
I'm sure you're a fan of the movie. I actually
know her, I actually know you know very nice y.

Speaker 3 (01:26:10):
Sure she's a boxing fan.

Speaker 4 (01:26:11):
Sure she was on the call of the Tyson fight. Right, Oh,
there you go doing that.

Speaker 5 (01:26:16):
But white men can't jump. Fantastic movie. And toward the
end of the movie, she says, and sometimes when you win,
you really lose. That's basically what you just described right there,
crack right, Like if you lay the six with the
Packers and somehow that's still the right side, you would
lose respect for someone doing that, because there's just you

(01:26:39):
had a better line and better opportunities earlier in the week.

Speaker 3 (01:26:42):
Sure, sure, as I watch, I'm sorry to do this.
I'm so sick. My whole life is based on these
line moves. And I see Houston now going to nine
against Tennessee. Now, granted, there's not one team that's been
a uggly your team in my arsenal this year than Tennessee.

(01:27:04):
I hate them. I root against them. I hope the
whole team gets fired, I hope the coaches all. I
hate them, But I'm just saying nine points. My god,
this is a Houston team that just fell apart at home. Well,
granted against Detroit, but it just nine points seems like
a lot, but this is a wise guy move. I
can tell you that because the book that moved it,

(01:27:26):
they control the market. So when they go from seven
and a half to nine, you can guarantee the markets
going up that way. And as we speak, the lines
are in red and black on my screen, which means
major line movement all the sports books. I thought that
was going to happen after But again, I'm not laying
no points. I'm not laying anything like this nine points.

(01:27:48):
But then again, I am staying far away from this
ugly Tennessee team.

Speaker 5 (01:27:53):
Well, and that's the thing crack is. We just said
this a handful of minutes ago. It's same sort of
line movement. Can see across the screen. It's moving at
other books, and it's like, if you like it, if
you like Indianapolis at plus seven and a half, it's
still offered.

Speaker 4 (01:28:11):
At bet MGM. If that's what you like, hop on
it right now and it's moved. Just take down to seven,
right it. Yeah, yeah, it's the same thing.

Speaker 5 (01:28:20):
If you like Houston minus seven and a half, you
can get it right now at BEDMGM and at other shops.

Speaker 4 (01:28:27):
It's ticked up to nine.

Speaker 3 (01:28:28):
So at MGM right now, Yeah, seven and a half.
You're absolutely right, current line seven and a half. After
we talked about the Detroit Indie game. I don't know
if someone listened, if they just move they moved to
the seven. So yeah, if you do like Houston, you
can lay seven and a half. Now, listen, it's not
key numbers eight and nine. But you never know, sometimes
those numbers.

Speaker 4 (01:28:48):
Can right, Yeah, you do never know.

Speaker 3 (01:28:50):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:28:50):
Sometimes it's goofy where sometimes you're down by two touchdowns
and the team trailing just score and well let's go
for two, and it's like this could comple completely swing
the action based on what you do.

Speaker 3 (01:29:03):
Number. Everyone that's the same. That's the exact scenario. What
does everyone in the sportsbooks say when that happens. They're
screaming and yelling and they're saying fix because the line's
seven are line?

Speaker 4 (01:29:15):
Fix?

Speaker 3 (01:29:16):
Is fix? No, No analytics tells us now that you're
supposed to go for the two point conversion when down
fourteen and you score a touchdown, you're supposed to go
for the two point conversion. But some of these coaches,
you just want to Every coach should hire someone that's
a street smart knock around analytical. They should have a

(01:29:39):
couple of each guy there, the analytical guy. Even though
I'm not a big fan of analytics, I think it
was overblown when every team was hiring a department paying
a million dollars a year for analytics guys. I think
you have to go back to some old, grinded out,
old school, you know, the old ball coach kind of football.
And so I'm but however, this situation, like I said,

(01:30:03):
every team should hire someone that should say coach, coach, coach,
trust me, just go for this too. Now I'll explain
to you after the game, But right now, spurn the
moment bank go for two points. I'll explain why we
did it. And there is analytics does come into play
in certain situations. That is a key one down by
fourteen scoring. Going for two next score hopefully just wins

(01:30:26):
the game. If not, you can still have the opportunity
to go for two.

Speaker 4 (01:30:29):
Absolutely crack. Let me throw another game at you here with.

Speaker 5 (01:30:32):
The the Eagles at the Rams, and that's going to
be your night cap game. Eagles favored by three points
on the road. You know what stood out to me,
surprisingly the Rams. They are only twenty sixth in rushing
yards per game this season.

Speaker 3 (01:30:48):
Crack.

Speaker 4 (01:30:49):
And you think.

Speaker 5 (01:30:50):
About that with Kyron Williams, who's still a good running back,
he was banged up earlier in the season. He hasn't
had the same type of season. You go back to
last year. Think about how special Kyron Williams was. Get
a load of this, crack, You'll love this. Kyron Williams
was number three in rushing yards last season for the Rams.
He played eleven games, right, he started eleven games. Derrick

(01:31:14):
Henry started all seventeen games last season in Tennessee. And
get this, So Kyron Williams, he gained only twenty three
fewer yards than Derrick Henry last year on fifty two
fewer carries.

Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
Think about that.

Speaker 5 (01:31:30):
If you gave Kyron Williams fifty two carries, do you
think he's gaining twenty three yards? Like that's where he
was last season. And yet this rushing attack for the
Rams is twenty sixth in the NFL. And they go
up against the Philly rush defense pretty good, give up
just barely under one hundred yards per game.

Speaker 4 (01:31:48):
They're seventh in the league against the rush.

Speaker 5 (01:31:51):
And by the way, they have the number one rushing
offense They're basically the opposite of the Cowboys. Cowboys can't
run it, they can't stop the run. The Eagles can
run it. They can stop the run.

Speaker 3 (01:32:02):
You know this particular game. I know you had the
Eagles money line earlier. They've been one of the hottest
teams in the NFL the past two months. Really listen,
I had them to win the division. I have to
win the conference. I hope they keep rolling, and I
hope they do. They're looking at looking really good for
the division now. I actually took a plus money on that.

(01:32:25):
But they're looking for their seventh straight win. I can't
even believe they won six in a row. Wow against
the Rams. The Rams been playing better football also now
they've won four to the last five. They'll face an
Eagles team without Devonte Smith, but still a very difficult
game for the Rams. The Eagles have the arguably the
best offensive line in the NFL. The tush push. Is

(01:32:47):
that still going on over there? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:32:49):
It is a little bit different.

Speaker 3 (01:32:50):
Little yeah, a little bit different though. So this should
be a good primetime game tonight. It will take the
Rams best performance, though, to win this game again ainst
the Eagles. We just look at the current line we
have here at bet MGM Philadelphia minus three minus five
and forty nine. Again, this game opened at three, not

(01:33:11):
a lot. You would think this would have pushed up
for the Eagles. You think it would have pushed up
a little bit. Has not pushed up that much. Minus
three minusol five now at bet MGM laying dollar fifteen
on the dog. So they're at maybe even looking for
some Eagles money. So this is, believe it or not,
the door. The wise guys are probably leaning towards the
dog on this game, looking for a better three when

(01:33:32):
I'm in mad is looking for a plus three minus
one ten later on. Let's see what happens the Rams.
The Rams probably need the game here a lot more
than the Eagles. So home time home team crowd there, Listen.
I've been in that stadium over there, so it's really cool.
It's a great atmosphere. You know. I hate to say this,
and I want to insult the one from California or Florida.

(01:33:53):
I've been the games in those two states multiple times
where it was like fair weather fans. They would go
from I'm I've been to like across sports when like
the Dodgers were playing and they had to get over
to the Laker game. They'll leave in the eighth inning,
even though it's tied to get to the this this
this way, they could say they were at every game
like they're no one from the Giants. They're not leaving

(01:34:15):
the East Coast guys, the Detroit Lions fans, they're not leaving,
so uh, I think. But however, what I'm saying is,
I think they have garnered some more fans support out
there in l a And I think the same thing
in Florida. Now, I think the the NFL fans are
a little better than what I've what I've seen when
I went to some games in the old days there.

Speaker 5 (01:34:36):
Yeah, right, I you know, I don't want to disparage
our West Coast you know people over there, But that's
the thing I always here.

Speaker 4 (01:34:43):
It is there's just there's just more to do. There's
more to there's more to do. There is there is
more to do, but it kills me.

Speaker 5 (01:34:49):
But the like the East Coast fans there, there's more
to do than going outside in below freezing weather. It's
called staying inside. And the bottom line is not just
there's more, it's they care more. Okay, that's part of
it as well. Sorry, that's just the truth.

Speaker 3 (01:35:05):
Oh yeah, I mean, but I'll tell you. I always want.
I told my wife years ago, I always believe it
or not, one of your teams. I always wanted to go.
I never got there. I always wanted to go to
a Notre Dame game. There go. I always wanted to
go to a Green Bay Packer game, sitting on like
I guess they still have the metal benches right.

Speaker 4 (01:35:22):
Oh yeah, I always want.

Speaker 3 (01:35:24):
And by the way, I don't want to go to
one in early September. I want to go to one
now November December. I want. I want to see my
own breath. Yeah, we bundle up, screaming and yelling like Rudy.
Like you watched the movie Rudy. You see his dad
throwing his hands in the air with the old jacket
from the mill. I love that. I love that. That's old,

(01:35:46):
grinded out style football. I would love to be in
Green Bay.

Speaker 4 (01:35:50):
You got to get there. You would love it.

Speaker 3 (01:35:52):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:35:52):
I've been there one time. It's fantastic. I went there
with my mom years ago. It turned into it was
I always tell this story where it turned into Josh McCown.
He was filling in for an injured j Cutler, and
that was the game. Aaron Rodgers got hurt. He might
have broken his collar bone, and I'm not sure. I
think Shay McClellan hit him. But it turned into Seneca

(01:36:13):
Wallas against Josh McCown. This a quarterback showdown in that way,
but it was still a great time. It's you gotta go, man.
You can tour the stadium. You would love it.

Speaker 3 (01:36:23):
That's what I want to do. I want and I
have an open invitation to actually tour believe it or not,
Notre Dame. I have a connection where he's like, you
could tour a Notre Dame. I have to do it.
I have to make it one of the Saturday tricks
over there and watch a game.

Speaker 5 (01:36:36):
By the way, quick note, crack real fast. That Houston game.
It moved at bet MGM. Now it's minus eight. Yeah,
you got to act quick if you like it at
minus seven.

Speaker 3 (01:36:44):
Well, they had plenty of time though when you said it, Brian,
they had plenty of time. They had at least five
minutes to bet that. Uh so, yeah, we give out
up to up to the minute. Major line moves here.
That's why I have a screen that I pay. You know,
this is a five hundred dollars a month live odds
screen from all around the world. There's indicators in the
market that I know exactly which sportsbook to look at.

(01:37:07):
That's an indicator in the market. Many sportsbooks will move
means nothing, but I know the three or four key
sports books. If they move, you can guarantee the whole
market's moving.

Speaker 5 (01:37:16):
So absolutely cool stuff. You'd stay ahead of it. Yeah,
get a better line, get a better number. Right, the
can help out, all right. That's Bill Krackenberger from crackwins
dot com sports handicapper. I'm Brian No coming up next.
If you like points, this might be your cup of tea.
We'll get to that game coming up. It's Fox Sports

Night Football Tomorrow night Ravens at the Chargers. Ravens a
road favorite minus two and a half right now at BETMGM. Man,
there's been a ton of money on the over throughout

(01:38:24):
the week. You mentioned this on last week's show. You
had a friend that's like, man, Ravens Chargers at forty seven. Oh,
you gotta love the over, and he was ahead of
the curve. Man, it's ticked up from forty seven to
now it's fifty one.

Speaker 3 (01:38:39):
Brian hes a great memory. I think I actually gave
that out on the show, didn't I said, there's a cop.

Speaker 4 (01:38:43):
Just mentioned it. You mentioned it in passing where Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:38:46):
Yeah, so yeah, that's the thing, man, if you're able
to hop on that line early, Yeah, that's great value.

Speaker 3 (01:38:53):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:38:53):
You get four points in your back pocket.

Speaker 3 (01:38:55):
Yeah. But uh, again, doesn't mean it's a guarantee, No,
it's not.

Speaker 4 (01:39:00):
I guarantee I see what.

Speaker 3 (01:39:01):
Happened there, and with the Pittsburgh Steeler game the other
night in the in the blizzard situation. So yeah, this
is a great Monday night game. Though you are so right,
it has major major playoff implications the Hardball Bowl. Josh
and Jim go ahead to head here for the first
time since twenty twelve. Baltimore still has the number one

(01:39:24):
offense in the league, averaging four hundred and thirty yards
a game, but it will need to step it up
on d this week if they want to beat these Chargers, who,
all of a sudden now they're playing some pretty good football.
Both these teams have had great balance on offense, with
Lamar Jackson Justin Herbert also leading the charge. Henry leaves
the league in rushing and the Chargers Dobbins third in

(01:39:47):
the AFC. Wow, this is looking at these these names,
I'm mentioning these numbers. Boy, this is really going to
be a game. I'm looking forward to. One surprising thing though,
Brian watching the Ravens here, what happened to Justin Tucker.
I know we don't ever really talk kickers on the show,
but Tucker has been legitimately the best kicker maybe in

(01:40:10):
the last Yeah, I'm gonna say it, in the last
decade now struggling to make forty yard field goals. What
is going on here with this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:40:19):
I thought the same thing. Everybody thought the same thing.

Speaker 3 (01:40:21):
Something in his head.

Speaker 5 (01:40:22):
Yeah, last week against the Steelers, missed two kicks and
that's an eighteen to sixteen game. You know, could have
swung the game in their favor if he makes those kicks.
And it's weird too, right, because to your point, crack,
he was so great, mister audiob'dominant, just automatic. I don't
care what the distance was. Tucker ran on the field.
You're like, that's he's gonna make it. And now he's

(01:40:43):
missing these very makeable kicks and people will say, well
he's older now. Yeah, but Adam vinet Terry was ancient.
Remember Vina Terry with his gray hair and gray beard.
He's still banging kicks for the Colts in his mid forties, right,
like mid forties.

Speaker 4 (01:40:58):
You can kick a lot. One time in the NF.

Speaker 3 (01:41:01):
There was a great Raiders kicker too. I don't know,
I can't think of it. I was a there was
a great Raiders kicker. Same thing. He was older and
kicking field goals a forty years, Like what happened to
Tucker here? Something's in his head, something you know there,
there's there's something where I don't want to say, you
get scared a NFL level. Something has happened where he

(01:41:22):
actually maybe he was scared to kick field goals. It's
it's it's amazing that it happens to even the best
of us, It really does. Yeah, but we'll see tomorrow night.
They you know, they he has to step it up too.
They may need him and throw them right out there
in the beginning and give him some confidence. Well, we'll
see what happens.

Speaker 4 (01:41:39):
Yeah, but that's important in a game like this.

Speaker 5 (01:41:41):
It's a tight point spread, you know, minus two and
a half for the Ravens on the road, and the
kicking game could be a big deal. And we've got, uh,
you know, we've got Dick or the kicker on the
other side, who's a really solid kicker for the Chargers.
One other thing, stinky line, stinky prop bet line.

Speaker 4 (01:41:59):
Should that might have something to do with this game.
It might play a part.

Speaker 5 (01:42:04):
So justin Herbert has done a great job, Lamar's done
a great job. They both have very few interceptions thrown
this season, Lamar, get this, twenty five touchdown passes, three interceptions.
Justin Herbert very good protecting the football as well, thirteen
touchdown passes, one interception. Okay, so Herbert only has one
interception on the season, and yet he is minus one

(01:42:28):
p fifty five to throw an interception. There's heavy juice
on him throwing an interception against a Raven's pass defense
that is the worst in the NFL. They give up
the most passing yards per game in the NFL. That
line is strongly suggesting that Justin Herbert is throwing an
interception in this game. I find that to be very interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:42:51):
Yeah, I'm looking at that now right on bet MGM.
Under the quarterback props his passing touchdown to interceptions, Herbert
over half minus fit. You look at two different for
the lines at bet MGM. So Lamar, Jackson is under
under half of a obviously under one. Let's see. You

(01:43:11):
know under half is minus dollar thirty five, and you
look at Herbert over a half minus one fifty five. Boy,
they are really telling you that Herbert's throwing an interception
tomorrow night. So yeah, you know, I'm looking at the
the the passing yards there too. Boy, I tell you
pretty cool. You know, Lamar was never really considered this

(01:43:33):
passing quarterback to these past few years, he almost has.
He's almost up there to what Justin Herbert is two
hundred and fifty four and a half Lamar Jackson two
hundred and thirty six and a half. Both lines at
bet MGM. Interesting to know in this game that the total,
like I said, open at forty seven, and I seen

(01:43:54):
that on the look ahead line up to fifty and
a half even some fifty ones out there, fifty one
and bet MGM as fifty one. Boy again again, I'll
say it again, just like I said before with the
Sam Fran game, you can't bet over fifty one. You
just cannot bet over. The only bet you can make
on the total is the under. That's right, even though

(01:44:16):
it's two different bets. When I say over forty seven
through some key numbers, forty seven, forty eight, fifty one,
now under fifty one under those key numbers, you just
but the public loves waiting, Brian. We know this. We
know this by every single week and every single sportsbook,

(01:44:36):
people get shut out at the counter. Even tomorrow night,
believe it or not, there'll be people shut out in
this town of Las Vegas because they couldn't make their
mind up betting, betting last second. And it'll happen today
in every sports book in town. People will get shut
out because they just don't know what they want to bet,
but they need action and they say, oh, yeah, the
chrial is gonna be a lot of scoring. Yeah, gotta

(01:44:57):
give me the over fifty one. It's the reason and
why they can put wings on these buildings because of
people making these last second decisions.

Speaker 5 (01:45:07):
You're so right, And that's the thing. Crack is in
other aspects of life. I'm a procrastinator. I call myself this.
You'll love this crack. I'm a productive procrastinator. Okay, so
if I need to do something, I just I'll put that.
I'll get to it later, but I'll do something else.
I'm not just gonna sit on the couch and do nothing.

(01:45:29):
I'll do something else, but I'm not doing what I
really need to get done, you know what I'm saying.
And so that's what I do. Like what is that
called progressive? That's what I call it? Productive for procrastinating.

Speaker 3 (01:45:42):
Yeah, that was like me when I was in Venario's
Bakery in New York. I was gonna go for the Canoli's,
but instead I went for the cheesecake and procrastinated on
the way out. I grabbed a cannoli out the door
and ate it before I got to the car. I understand,
I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:45:55):
Right, right, you get it right?

Speaker 5 (01:45:56):
Yeah, you'll you put things off like I'm the guy
raising to the airport and I don't know if I'm
gonna make it this time, And every time I'll think,
why didn't I just allow in extra thirty minutes and
I don't have to run around like a crazy person.

Speaker 4 (01:46:08):
The point is you can't do that in betting.

Speaker 5 (01:46:13):
You cannot procrastinate to the last minute and then just
jump on the line and expect.

Speaker 3 (01:46:18):
It's why the Crack challenge is so hard.

Speaker 5 (01:46:20):
It is because your kickoffs. You forced us to procrastinate. Basically, right,
I don't know how you.

Speaker 3 (01:46:26):
Guys did so good last year. I'll be real blunt, Yeah,
I don't even know how this is. This is Think
about Joe Public. They have no chance betting five minutes
before the game, ten minutes before the game. NFL sides
now they could bet some proposition bets because the books
don't look at them as much. Boy, I'm giving out
some secret sauce here. So the books don't look at

(01:46:46):
the prop bets as much today when they're getting pelted
from all different angles first half, first quarter, this that
of course straight bets parlays how much risk they have.
They don't really look get there, even though they some
of the books do have a prop department. There's so
many bets coming in. It's you you can bet props

(01:47:07):
the day of the game, the minute of the game,
up to the game, especially with certain situations. You follow
your socials and stuff. But the sides, boy, they're gonna
unless they're unless you live in Las Vegas and you
have multiple sports books where you can get extra half
of points here and there on around some of the
key numbers. I kind of stay away from size, not

(01:47:29):
the day. I'm not gonna say the day of the game,
because I'll get up five in the morning and sometimes
put something in. But the last ten minutes of the game,
like like you poor guys have to do.

Speaker 4 (01:47:39):
Yeah, it's rough, man.

Speaker 5 (01:47:40):
We were both over five hundred last year, Jeff and
myself this year were not, and I'm way lower than Jeff.
Jeff is hovering around five hundred just barely below me.
Not so much Crack like the regression is freaking here.

Speaker 3 (01:47:55):
You're not. It's nothing to make fun of yourself.

Speaker 4 (01:47:57):
But you're right, it's difficult the public.

Speaker 3 (01:47:59):
The public is up against the same thing. You know.
It's just just look at look at the sports books,
how much money they have made this year. There's no
one with collection buckets out there. I'll just tell you
one thing. A couple of years ago, a couple of
them were crying. They got beat on a Sunday so bad.
I went outside one of the sports books and put
a collection bucket, wrote it out, what it's for bookmaker's
retirement fun. I raised like three hundred bucks. I gave

(01:48:22):
it to a couple of different guys, and you know,
I felt bad at them. But there's no collection buckets
out this year.

Speaker 4 (01:48:27):
I love that. All right, We've got Isaac lohen Crown.
Is there an Ilo collection bucket? What do you think?
Crack like a tipshow? Right, tip jo?

Speaker 8 (01:48:35):
Unfortunately it rhymes with collection bucket. I've hey, crack, could
was the raider kicker you were thinking of? Sebastian Janet him?

Speaker 3 (01:48:46):
Can my man? Ilo comes through with Sebastian's absolutely right.

Speaker 8 (01:48:51):
My next guest was going to be George Blanda, but
I guess I'm no, You're going too far back.

Speaker 1 (01:48:56):
Good job, Thank you.

Speaker 8 (01:48:57):
The Dallas Cowboys fella is going to be without both
of their starting guards at the top of the hour
when they visit the seven and four Washington Commanders. They'd
already ruled out Zach Martin because of ankle and shoulder injuries.
Now Tyler Smith is inactive as well due to an
ankle injury. Bears running back DeAndre Swift and receiver Keenan
Allen both active against the Minnesota Vikings. Giants receiver Malik
Neighbors is active against Tampa Bay as his Buccaneers receiver

(01:49:20):
Mike Evans. Miami Dolphins left tackle Tron Armstead is active
against the Patriots. A short time ago, the Tennessee Titans
added safety Amni Hooker to their injury report and listed
him as questionable for their game against the Houston Texans
due to illness. The Arizona Cardinals downgraded cornerback Max Melton
to questionable for their game later today against Seattle, also.

Speaker 7 (01:49:41):
Due to illness.

Speaker 8 (01:49:42):
A short time ago, on Fox NFL Sunday Fox Sports,
Jay Glazier revealed the following detail about when Jets owner
Woody Johnson fired general manager Joe Douglas earlier this week.

Speaker 9 (01:49:55):
On Tuesday, they're in the middle of their last practice
coming in Dubaye week and then owner Whatdy Johnson flies
in on his helicopter and everybody kind of looked around.

Speaker 1 (01:50:03):
And said, well, this can't be good.

Speaker 9 (01:50:05):
And Joe Douglass, the general manager, turned to jeff Oldbrook,
the head coach, and said, well, if they pulled me
off the practice field, it's been an honor servant with you,
and they kind of laughed about it. Wow, they pulled
them off the practice field, and that's the last they've
really saw off.

Speaker 8 (01:50:17):
Joe Douglas yikes, wow and fellas Finally. NFL Commissioner Roger
Goodell is at Lucas Oil Stadium for today's matchup between
the Colts and the Detroit Lions. A short time ago,
Goodell was on the field when Blue, the Colts horse
themed mascot, approached him holding a pie and pretended to

(01:50:39):
throw it in Goodell's face. Goodell laughed it off and
gave Blue a hug.

Speaker 7 (01:50:44):
But I fear that tomorrow morning Blue.

Speaker 8 (01:50:46):
Might wake up in a similar state as the prize
horse in The Godfather.

Speaker 1 (01:50:59):
On that note back.

Speaker 3 (01:51:01):
To you guys, that's great.

Speaker 4 (01:51:03):
Is there gonna be a helicopter though? I love right
the Goodell.

Speaker 5 (01:51:08):
Chopper as a comes down to lay justice on blue.

Speaker 4 (01:51:13):
Yeah, love that all right.

Speaker 5 (01:51:14):
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to kick Off, presented
by Bett MGM. Shortly after the show, our podcast would
be going up. If you missed anything on today's show,

Radio wherever you get your podcasts, and be sure to
also follow, rate and review it again. Just search Fox
Sports Radio wherever you get your podcasts, and you'll see
the show posted right after we get off the air.
But by the way, there was a note our trusted

(01:51:36):
producer Bo Benson.

Speaker 4 (01:51:37):
Who had this.

Speaker 5 (01:51:38):
I know this was partially a chefter tweet about Poka Nakua,
but it was it who covers the Rams who had this.
Was it Lindsey Theory that had this, but we'll get
confirmation on that. But the story is that Puka Nakua
Rams receiver just found out that his team is in
the NFC West that the story crack where he's like, whoa,

(01:52:02):
We're in the NFC West Over that's what's going on here.

Speaker 4 (01:52:05):
Okay, I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (01:52:07):
I'm sorry, I'm still I was actually teared up. You
didn't see it, I was. I just didn't know we
were going to have an I low Godfather reference, and
you know I love the Godfather. Yeah, and for him
to have that, you know, I was just at the
house where the movie was filmed. I was at Clemenza's
house where he's backing on the driveway.

Speaker 7 (01:52:26):
And just don't go to the toll booth, Bill, stay away.

Speaker 3 (01:52:30):
And you know he's right, stay away from the causeway.
They shot Sonny on the causeway. He's dead. This war
ends now, the Godfather said. But anyway, I just didn't
expect that. Eyes Ilo stock went way up, way up,
way up, more than anyone over. Yeah. So anyway, Yeah,
we see some lines that are absolutely still moving around

(01:52:51):
on you know again, I want to tell you who's
taking the biggest money since we've came on air, in
my opinion, is probably the Colts. The Colts have taken
some money and also Houston Texans. So that's the two
big line moves. Yeah, right, Bears, you'll see tonight o
the Bears. Yes, yeah, the Bears. The Bears plus three,
and they were plus three and a half for a while.

(01:53:12):
There was even one sportsbook that had it when we
went on air. They're down to three everywhere that That's
probably the one early game I'm looking forward to watch
is going to be that Bears game Detroit Indianapolis too,
but easily Detroit can easily, you know, let the game
get out of hand there and the Colt just falter.
I think the Minnesota Chicago game is going to be

(01:53:34):
a grind out type of game. And again I don't
really push a lot of live wagering. I want to
see if if the trends continue to happen. I'm not
a trend guy only. I only use trends per season
or per squad. What that means is I want to
know that it's the same squad in there. I hate
when I hear media sources saying going back to the last

(01:53:55):
eighteen years on Minnesota is twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:53:57):
Eight and six.

Speaker 3 (01:53:58):
I don't care about the team plus years ago. I
don't care about all that stuff. I don't care about
two plus years ago. I mean the last seventeen year.
I want to know what the squad does now. So
we have two teams heading in two different directions in
the first quarters this year. I like to see what
happens there. And like I said later on, believe it
or not, that Green Bay sand Fran game, that could
be a very good game to watch. That'll be the

(01:54:20):
game I'm watching. And then Philadelphia Rams another great game
to watch tonight we have a really good and then
the Chargers Baltimore to Warrant. We got some good football
here Week twelve.

Speaker 5 (01:54:31):
Those are great primetime games, both games in LA. I
love those matchups. And as the other team that's taken
some money this morning might make your skin crawl a
little bit. Crack the Packers, they're ham.

Speaker 3 (01:54:44):
They're up to minus six minus juice. There's actually some
six and a halfs in town. Wow. Yeah, no if
that game ever went to seven, because the public is
just if the public loses early, they're gonna chase late.
It's a natural, our human chemistry makeup. It's the human condition.
So who are they betting. They're not gonna be betting

(01:55:04):
Las Vegas, Denver, Arizona, Seattle, and I don't know Green
Bay they're going to be betting later. Let that line
go to plus seven plus seven minus fifteen. The Kman
will be on San Fran Plus the Points there.

Speaker 4 (01:55:18):
I hear you, Man, I hear you.

Speaker 5 (01:55:19):
That's Bill Krackenberger from Crackwins dot com sports handicapper. I'm
Brian No. Coming up next the Crack Challenge. Jeff Schwartz
not with us today right boots on the ground for
the Chiefs Carolina game, but his picks are in.

Speaker 4 (01:55:32):
We'll share them with you. Also, Crack, you got your
play of the day.

Speaker 5 (01:55:36):
You also have a rapid Fire pick, so some selections
from Crack as well.

Speaker 4 (01:55:40):
That's coming your way.

Speaker 3 (01:55:41):
Next.

Speaker 5 (01:55:41):

Sager posting our videos does an awesome job. Red Zone
Radio Top of the Hour, Steve Hartman, Rich Ornberger, keep
it locked right here on Fox Sports Radio as we
march on toward kickoff. All right, we got some picks
to make. Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (01:56:37):
Five games against the spread. We call it, call it
the Crack Challenge.

Speaker 5 (01:56:44):
Okay, the picks are in here, crack all right, Right,
We've got Jeff Schwartz's picks. The lines have moved a
little bit. He's staying true with this. He likes the
Colts plus seven, he likes the Bears plus three. He's
going with Tam that's moved a little bit minus six
and a half. He's with you on Seattle plus one,

(01:57:05):
and he's got Tennessee plus eight.

Speaker 3 (01:57:09):
What do you think?

Speaker 4 (01:57:10):
What do you think? Do you like?

Speaker 3 (01:57:11):
Well? I mean again, this is the Crack Challenge. Very
tough to do this this time of the day. I'm
rooting for him.

Speaker 4 (01:57:20):
Hey, I hear you.

Speaker 1 (01:57:22):
It's a tough to my line.

Speaker 3 (01:57:23):
I'm rooting for you.

Speaker 5 (01:57:24):
Tough racket over here. Okay, here are my pigs. I'm
throwing a few dogs at you to begin with.

Speaker 3 (01:57:31):
Crack.

Speaker 5 (01:57:32):
Okay, we're getting a little bit of value at vet
MGM compared to other spots in the market. If you
will right, I'll go with Carolina plus eleven. I don't
love it. I don't even like it, but it's eleven
points in the NFL, and sometimes the Chiefs they don't
try to cover the number, they just try to win games.
Give me the Patriots plus seven and a half against

(01:57:55):
my fins. I want the Dolphins to win, but you
get over it touchdown. I can see that being the
right side.

Speaker 4 (01:58:03):
I will crack. I'll go with the Giants. I'll take
the six and a half points.

Speaker 5 (01:58:08):
Tommy Cutlets, it's been too much movement toward Tampa.

Speaker 4 (01:58:11):
Yes, and then the primetime games. I'm on the road faves.

Speaker 5 (01:58:14):
I'm gonna go with the with the Eagles minus three
on the road. I'm gonna go with the Ravens minus
two and a half on the road.

Speaker 3 (01:58:20):
I like your definitely, there we go.

Speaker 5 (01:58:23):
You don't like my faves, I'm not betting favorite, now,
I got you.

Speaker 4 (01:58:26):
I understand. Alright, let's get to this.

Speaker 1 (01:58:32):
Rapid fire.

Speaker 4 (01:58:33):
All right, crack, what's a pick that you like?

Speaker 3 (01:58:35):
Man, Carolina Panthers hovered. I'm gonna go over his fifty
four and a half rushing yards and bet mgm. He's
still the workhorse. Even though Jonathan Brooks makes his rookie debut,
He's still the workhorse over on his yards.

Speaker 5 (01:58:48):
Okay, interesting, uh, crack, I'm gonna go with the market
is telling us justin Herbert is throwing an interception tomorrow night.

Speaker 4 (01:58:56):
He's throwing one interception all year, and the market is like, no,
it's it's happening.

Speaker 5 (01:59:00):
All right, fine, I'll take it minus one fifty five.
That's a lot of juice. If you don't like the juice, crack, yep,
just just couple it with Washington. Washington's not losing at
home to Dallas off two straight losses. I don't see
that happening. So if you couple them together, it's minus
one twelve. If you don't like that juice. If you
don't want to do the money line, favorite, stick with
Herbert minus one fifty five.

Speaker 4 (01:59:20):
I think he throws a pick. All right, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:59:25):
This is the best play of the day.

Speaker 4 (01:59:29):
Man, all Right, crack. What is it?

Speaker 3 (01:59:31):
Man, I'm gonna bet Minnesota Chicago over nineteen and a
half minus won twenty in the first half. Even though
I think it's a grind out type of game. I
think they may get off to that fast start. Minnesota
put some points on the board. Just hope Chicago can
put them up with them.

Speaker 4 (01:59:44):
Okay, interesting, we.

Speaker 3 (01:59:45):
Go, great show today.

Speaker 5 (01:59:47):
It's a fun show with you Crack, good stuff, Ben.
Everybody enjoy Week twelve. We'll catch you soon.
