Daniel Cormier is BACK with another episode of 3 Rounds, where DC talks about the hottest topics around the UFC. He reacts to the Khabib and Jon Jones back-and-forth, and Cormier talks about Khabib being one of the most loyal people he has ever been around, and because of having beef with Jon, Khabib will also never be friends with Jon. DC then reacts to Francis Ngannou saying he thinks there is still a possibility that he will fight Jon Jones as soon as in 2025. Lastly, DC talks about Michael Chandler saying he plans on knocking out Charles Oliveira at Madison Square Garden, and Cormier gives his opinion on the fight. #Volume #Herd

Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What's up, guys. It's November sixth, twenty twenty four, and
it's time for three rounds. Last week we were at
the pay per view a week before, we're Labu Dhabi.
The only time we will not do three rounds is
when we're traveling like I did. But we're back and
I thank you guys. Hey, the amount of support you

(00:32):
guys showed the return episode of three Rounds.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Love it. Thank you guys so much. I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I honestly am so grateful for the support that you
guys have given me.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
It's tremendous. And hey, the volume.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
We just got an extension and that's because of you guys.
Because of you, guys, I can continue to make these
great deals to continue to try and build this platform.
So I appreciate you guys. Thank you so much. As
we get ready for this three round fight now. Training
camp this time has been difficult. They have not been
great stories that you know, we put in the work.

(01:11):
We made sure we're prepared, and I think it's time
for a fight. Let's go, guys, let's get ready for
round one. I'm ready, I made my walk.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Let's go wrong one.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
So guys, A couple of weeks ago, John Jones was
talking and he praised Kabee, right. He said Kabee was
this great fighter and all the other things. Said they
never had any issues or anything. But I think that
his response our Kabebe's response might have been a little
bit surprising to some, but not surprising to the people

(01:48):
closest to him. So when asked about jones comments, kud
beeB had this to say. He said, I've never had
any disagreement with John Jones. He's a great fighter. As
a fighter, it will be hard to compete with him.
He said this on an interview translated to bloody elbow.
But my friend Daniel Cormier is in conflict with him,
and automatically he cannot be my friend. I am not

(02:12):
friends with those who my friends are not friends. So honestly,
as I read that, I wasn't surprised, really, because that's
the way Kabeb has been, and he's always been that way,
because the dude's loyal, right, He's as loyal as anyone

(02:33):
that I've ever met.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
So that's why you see.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Right that group around him and how much they're willing
to do for him, how they react when he is
attacked or approached.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
All the way back to the Conor McGregor situation. Right.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I can't condone what happened after that fight. I'm not
gonna sit here and say it was right. But when
you talk about these dudes, right ka bebing them, it's
it really is. It wasn't just his fight anymore. So
when he reacted in the way that he did and

(03:16):
jump the fence, it became something that was to all
of them. And I gotta be honest with you, when
that thing first happened when I jumped the rail, initially
I was gonna go help Kabee, but then I started
to think to myself, maybe it's better if we kind
of stopped this. That's why I was seen as the
guy that was calming everything. Now, but your initial reaction

(03:36):
when you have a brother going into battles to go
help him, to go fight for him, I think those
guys take it there. So I remember back at Abu
Dhabi and this might be the only time this dude's
ever been mad at me, and I didn't quite understand it. Right,
We as Americans, we as a culture, we don't abide

(03:59):
by those same rules all the time, right, we don't
abide by if you are in such a great conflict
with someone as my friend, we as Americans may not
see the need to kind of fall in line and
feel or operate in the same way. So Connor McGregor,

(04:23):
who I met back in the day, it was that
a couple of fights. You've always been cordial with each other.
I don't really know Connor very well. Kuld Be and
kind of were cordial in the beginning also, but it
became so nasty now to where it was that massive
bill to the fight, the way the fight ended everything.
I saw Connor McGregor one time in Abu Dhabi. I

(04:45):
don't know who he was fighting. Maybe it was Dustin
for you. We were shaking hands.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
And we were talking a little bit and were very.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Kind of chumming, right, and Kabe was like, brother, I
don't understand.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
He was like, I don't understand this.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
He said, if I I see Connor with his wife,
I'll shake his hand because that's what you're supposed to do.
He goes with brother, I mean, And I initially kind
of fought it. Then I start thinking about it, and
people close to me are like, no, Daniel, he's right,
he is right. Look at the stance he has taken
in regards to you and everybody you deal with, Why

(05:22):
in the world would you not take that same stance?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
So things have changed now, right, I do this.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I don't try to request McGregor for interviews. I don't
think that I would get him. But I'm just saying
it's not a request I make every time I'm there.
But it's like par for the course for these dudes,
because honestly, could be. He's not just a teammate's family,
and they're like that with everyone, and they feel like
if someone's in conflict, especially at the level that John's nine,

(05:52):
Jose's and I were in conflict, they're very stern to
decide that they pick And it's kind of refreshing because
most people aren't like that guy. They're just not, especially
us as Americans. So watching that wasn't.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Crazy for me. But dude, is he really is the man?
Could be the man.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
He's got to be one of the most genuine humans
I've ever met. And I don't know if there's anything
I wouldn't do for this dude, And reading that just
reaffirmed that. Because he did not have to do that publicly,
it seems as though that rivalry has to put to bed,
but this man still operates the same way. Look, I'm
happy that this dude set. I'm happy he's living his

(06:32):
best life. I think it's the life that he deserves
and had thought to could be in americam at all,
a true teammate and family forever.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Wrong two.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
I got hit with a couple of shots, but I
felt like we were in control around one. It wasn't
that bad. So excuse me, guys, I'm human. Do not
cut this loo. I'm human.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I've been sick out a lot of travel anyhow, guys.
Wrong two.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
So France and Ghana was the bell of the ball
a couple weeks ago. You know, him and Dana have
this massive rivalry. But he said he still wants to
fight John Jones. Here is one of the things that
is different today than it was before. So when Ariel
asked him about fighting John Jones in twenty twenty five,

(07:29):
he said this, I think there's a chance, he goes.
I know there's a chance Aer will follow up with
does John want that fight? Francis Francis Goes. I believe
he does. I know the truth because I've been behind
the scenes so many times. So I know exactly what happens.
So I see him too, and I will be watching

(07:54):
him on November sixteen, because Jones said he sees him.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
He said there's a chance that we could fight.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I can't tell on the scale of one to ten,
I can't tell how much, but I know there's a chance.
I know that fight also interests Sheikh Turkey, and not
many things resist him. I know the truth. I've been
behind the scenes. I know exactly what happened, and I
do believe that John Jones wants this fight.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
So where's the difference when he says Turkey?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
When he says I know this interest Turkey, right, that's
a different level to the puzzle. So Turkey allark. Sheikh
is the man behind Riad's season and when I went
to this Wikipedia, he is the Saudi Arabian Advisor at
the Royal Court under the rank of Minister and the

(08:48):
current Chairman of General Entertainment Authority. Right, that's the GAE.
He's the chairman of the GA. He's credited with leading
significant developments in Saudi Arabia, including contribution it's to sports
and cultural arenas. So the terrace Crawford fights Francis versus
Tyson Fury Francis versus Anthony Joshua Redd season. Hey you

(09:12):
guys remember READD season presents The Fear the Sphere. Sorry,
So all this, all.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
This stuff, this man has now had a hand in.
So why is it support?

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Why does Francis have the confidence that Turkey can make
this happen? So when you have the resources, when you
have the resources, you have an ability to try to
make things work that may seem impossible. May seem impossible,

(09:48):
but it's very rarely do you see anything put before
UFC on a UFC thing, Right, UFC three to oh
seven I think was in Abu Dhabi or three oh eight,

(10:08):
three h eight was in Abu Dhabi. It wasn't riadd
season presents UFC three h eight, but it was READD season.
At the top of UFC three to h six. Well,
Nomalley fought morob right, that big ticket that came with
the sphear there had to be.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Some help there.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
So if there are resources in that way that say Francis,
you can make this, John, you can make this. The
UFC you can make this, maybe it works. Conna McGregor
got to box because at the end of the day
he got paid one hundred million dollars to fight Floyd Mayweather.

(10:51):
Floyd Mayweather and Conna McGregor made so much money that
was undeniable.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
That it should happen.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Dollars make sense, guys, Dollars make sense. And if Turkey
and Francis and John can make these dollars make sense,
why wouldn't they do it. I'm not sitting up here
saying it's gonna happen because Data does not like Francis,
and that is a massive problem, massive problem. Well, when

(11:22):
in the world do you put that above business? I
don't know that he will. He's one of the smartest,
sharpest businessman, businessmen you've ever met. If the dollars make sense,
fight could potentially happen. But we can't even talk about
the fight right because before it seemed like some sort
of pipe dream. But if Francis is to be believed,

(11:43):
and Francis has had these conversations, we're now entering a
world where multiple partnerships are already established. In this realm ESPN, UFC, ESPN, PFL,
Riot Season, UFC ladies and gentlemen, maybe, just maybe we
get that fight. So the Emirates NBA Cup is here.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Three guys, I'm just gonna give you a little bit
of a round up because it's been a while, so
there's a lot to talk about. One, Steve baby Yilches
finally spoke and he had words for tom Asbloon goes, hey, tom,
no disrespect big man, But I believe that the general
public wants to see me and John Jones fight, not

(13:59):
tom Aslon Jones fight.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
I like that Miocic is speaking, is saying what his
feelings are, because honestly, I love tom Aswalo and I
think that he is the future of the division.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
But for so long we've wanted to see these two
dudes fight.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
We wanted to answer the question whether or not John
could beat a heavyweight champion. Well, step A is the
greatest heavyweight champion of all time. Those questions will be answered.
And I can't help myself but to want to do that,
to want to be involved, to want to see it,
because the greatness of John Jones is undeniable to so many.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
But if he does this just.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Cements him as who he has proven to be time
and time again. It's gonna be tough, but I love
that Steepe's talking. I actually spoke to Steepe about a
week ago, a little bit as he was preparing talk
to Damon Martin, who spoke to steep A, said he's
in fit, great shape, looks phenomenal, seems happy, seems good

(15:01):
to go. So I'm all in on that fight. So yeah,
step A. Most want to see you guys fight.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
It is fun.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
But I do believe that when Tom does get his opportunity,
we will be kind of looking into the future of
the heavyweight division. Michael Chandler said he's knocking out Charles
Oliver at this time, and you know what, I've been
hard on Mike.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
That's my boy. I love Mike DCRCMC. I love Mike Chandler.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility
that he knocks him out. But I also don't believe
that he shouldn't just take him down like he did
last time. Michael Chandler literally in the first fight with
Charles O'livera was probably twenty seconds of becoming the UFC
lightweight champion. Michael Chandler has proven that he can compete

(15:49):
with these dudes. Michael Chandler's proven he can hurt these dudes.
Michael Chandler's proven time and time again that he's tough
enough to withstand the damage that these guys give him.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Chandler can't do this. Part of the reason Chandler.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Gets these types of fight so is his willingness to
do this when in reality he has a style that
might lend itself to doing something different. Because the reason
he won round wanted against Charles Olavera was because he
heard him. But then he took him down and he
controlled him and he beat on him when he was
on the ground.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
He can do that too.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Michael Chandler has many avenues to victory in this fight.
I feel it's gonna be a matter of what is
the path right? Is Mike going to choose the path
of least resistance or is Mike going to choose the
path that makes you.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
The fun fight.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
If I know Michael Chandler, If I know Michael Chandler
and I've known him he was in college, and I
know how much he loves the big stage and loves
the crowds applause and loves that roar, I think he's
gonna choose the path that may seems more difficult, because
why wouldn't he is what he's done his entire life.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Hayo. James Johnson, guys cannot beat John Jones. I don't
know what this dude is doing.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
I don't know why James Johnson keeps saying stuff like that,
he's an NBA basketball player that did some karate.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
When he was a child.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
What in that makes him think that he can go
and beat John Jones, who fights trained killers every single day.
Sometimes sometimes I listen to people and it's a level
of naivete.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Alas, look at that, look at look at it, Look
at me, mohalla, naivete like I'm fancy, you know, It's
like a level of being naive that I don't even understand.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
I don't understand. I get it. If you're five to three, right.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
If he said I could beat Dimetriz Johnson, I wouldn't
pick him to beat Dimitriz Johnson. But if he's six
y six and DJ's five to three, maybe, But Jones's
six y four. Jones is literally an NBA point guard.
He's an NBA point guard. And that's the guy you who,
a guy who's never fought say that you can beat

(18:12):
in a fight.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
I just don't get it.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Man.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Sometimes people talk out the side of the ass. I
decided their neck. They call like, you talk out your
neck right here, your mouth is right here, but you're
so stupid you talk like right here right.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
This dude is tripping. He is really really tripping. Guys.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
I head out to Madison Square Garden next week. Then
I can't wait check in with Steve Emochic, Michael Chandler,
Charles Olavera. Sorry, guys, John and I aren't there yet.
We're just not there yet. Maybe at some point we
will be, or we're just not there yet. But I'm
excited about it. Think you guys keep supporting the channel.
It's unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Who I mean, I'm tired.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
I'm tired, all right, guys now talking my thought. So
a few weeks ago, an MMA fighter head kicked the boxer.
This guy named Idris Abdua's sheet off is undefeated out
of one FC. He thought a dude that was one
in three in boxing, and he head kicked him after

(19:15):
a wild exchange. I don't care about anything. I don't
care about your feelings. I don't care what you think
of my point. That was some bullshit. Faraji was brought
in to get beat because that's what they do in boxing,
to build the prospect. You're bringing a guy that isn't good,
they call them cans, You knock them out, you move on.

(19:36):
But when the hunted or intended hunted becomes the hunter
or decides not to play about the rules, he gonna
throw a head kick. You know the rules that you
signed up for. You know what you signed up.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
To compete in.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
You know, as a sportsman that just wants to follow
those rules. It don't matter if you're losing or the
fights harder than you're expected that you expect expecting it
to be.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
You gotta fight by those rules you signed up for.
It was cowardly it was cowardly.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
He got banned for a lifetime from boxing, and that
was absolutely right, absolutely right. I don't know how you
support this kid after not only does he do that,
he goes to Instagram and he hosts it again showing
that he has.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Zero or mores. Hey, fighting is brutal enough. We don't
need your cheating.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
We don't need guys using steroids and do all kind
of other crazy stuff. Fight the rule that you signed
up for. Man, come on, dude, it's crazy shit like
that head kick somebody in the boxing match. Come on, guys,
Thank you again for watching three rounds. I appreciate you
guys as always, Like subscribe, tell your friends about DC's

(20:52):
YouTube channel because I'm doing stuff like three rounds every
single week on Wednesday night except on PA per view.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Weeks until next time, guys. Peace.
