Over fifty volunteers with the Boston Red Sox Organization are
rolling up their sleeves and helping refurbish the Hyde Park
Community Center to.

Johnny Candell is the center's director. He says acts like
this mean a lot to the youth.

Sometimes when we see young people that are using their
energy in a way that would have making not the
best choices, a good hug, a kind word, knowing that
adults care about them that don't have to it goes
a long way.

Red Sox players Christian Campbell, Manny del Carmen, Carlos Narvaaz
and Wally the Green Monster also grabbed a few paintbrushes
