But popular it apparently is. People packed the Boston Japan Festival,
many dressed to the nines and bright wigs and colorful
cosplay at testament to how big the love for the
island nation is here, especially for the food and anime booths.
Atsuko yu Shiro is on the board here. She says,
the numbers have been surprising since the very first one
of these and twenty.

Twelve, so I estimated our first Japan festibout thirty five
hundred people, and at that morning eleven o'clock, so fifteen
thousand people came.

There were sword sellers, trinket people, plushy toys, live music,
anything you need. Really, I don't know.

It's really great to see a whole bunch of people
come out and just share in a really beautiful culture.
