Local Residents And Families Clean Up Franklin Park For One Boston Day

Eight year old Mave puts on blue latex gloves and
picks up a rake.

We like to clean up.

I'm not sure her ten year old brother Mateo is
quite as enthusiastic about cleaning.

But their father, Brian says it's important to help.

Out advocates of making Franklin Park even better, so we
want to be part of the movement.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
The park is about five hundred acres, not enough rake,
shovels and brooms to cover at all. Christopher's here un crutches.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
I'm just showing my daughter that it's important to keep
the community clean. And you know, I gave her my
word that we're gonna do more volunteer and events. So
I got to fall through with that.
