Walgreens will pay some three hundred and fifty million dollars
in a new settlement reach with the Department of Justice
for legally filling millions of opioid prescriptions and other controlled substances.
Even though they're agreeing to a settlement, they're also remaining
defiant on their stance they did nothing wrong, Walgreens spokesperson
saying in a statement they disagreed with the government's legal
theory in the suit and emit no liability, going on

to say the settlement allows the nationwide pharmacy to close
all opioid related litigation. Over the past eight years, drug makers, wholesalers,
and pharmacies have paid more than fifty billion dollars in
