LifesPaTTernz is a podcast about the complexities of life. How it replicates patterns of behavior, good and bad, which tend to show up in our children and grandchildren even without verbal prompting. Have you ever heard the saying, "we are the product of our environment?" What this says is we often demonstrate the behavior that is modeled before us, even the behavior that we dislike.
Men experience depression differently from women. Some men manifest depression as anger, agitation, or being "on edge." While others demonstrate depression by withdrawing from friends, family, and activities they've once enjoyed. However depression manifests in you, there is help available. If you do not have a circle of friends to talk to, you can find help by calling the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988...
In honor of Men's Mental Health Month let's talk about depression and how it affects men. Also, where can one go to get help?
