Welcome to This Podcast Called Life! Just like the saying ”There is an app for that”, there is also some truth for ”There is a podcast for that”. There are so many podcasts to choose from because each one focuses on a separate subject but why do I have to choose just one? Well, I am daring to be different because I want to discuss ALL subjects. If I am interested, we will discuss it. If YOU are interested, we will discuss it. In this day and age, we as a society are so stupidly politically correct about every-thing and because of that, pretty much afraid to discuss the things that matter, afraid of what others may think. Sooooo, that is why I created this podcast. I want to talk about every subject, not just running, not just food, not just problems....but EVERYTHING we all experience in this game we call Life. For now though, I will be including topics related to: - Running (well, run/walk) -Feel good stories - Being kind to others -Healthy habits, outlets -Mental health -Physical health -Patience (or lack thereof) -Faith (mine and what it’s done for me) -Funny stories just to make you laugh -Travel -Pets -Over 50 issues/stories -Friends -A bunch of other stuff I make up on the fly -ANY subjects you write in to me that YOU want to discuss **My goal is to stay away from the political arena because let’s be honest......that is an area waaaaay too sensitive, even for me sometimes.**
This episode is about how Self Care is a necessity for all of us, recognizing the signs from needing a self care outlet, and how self care looks different to many people. This episode also brings you my first interview with Aimee and Dana Coston, from Run, Eat, Drink Podcast.
