Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show. Let's go around the room. I
want to see what's on your mind. Let's think, let's think,
and let's talk about what we're thinking about. We'll start
with you, foggy, what's going on.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I don't want to sound like a old man, but
they just don't make electronics like they used to.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Oh, here we go.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I bought a refrigerator five years ago. It's not cooling
any longer. It should not break in five years.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Five years. We have to have a refrigerate refrigerator for
like forty five years.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
When I was like, the parents had a harvest gold
refrigerator that I think that thing was.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
What is even harvest gold did?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
The harvest gold was the color. It was like that
yellowish gold color. It was a frigid I don't even
know what name Brandon was. I don't know, but it
lasted forever. I bought this Samsung refrigerator five years ago
and it is not cooling, and I think it's going
to cost more to fix it than it is to
just buy a new one. And I'm shocked. At five
years it just stopped working. Yeah, I don't know, I
just they don't make them like they use.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Well, they're kind of like iPhones button in Copertino and
it turns it off.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
All right, all right, they don't make him a too
well no you go, Hey, Danielle, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
So?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
You know, I love going to see my Broadway shows,
and last night we got to see Sunset Boulevard.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
I was it.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Oh my gosh. First of all, the cast is insane.
Tom Francis, who plays the male lead, I mean amazing.
But Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls is so talented
and so amazing in this role. She deserves a Tony
Award nomination. I'm not even kidding you, that's how brilliant

(01:37):
she is. And it took so much out of me
energy wise, because it is that type of a show.
By her second song, she was getting a standing ovation already.
How crazy is that standing ovation? Not even at the
end of the show. Beginning of the show. So you
got to see it, Sunset Boulevard. If you get a chance,
go check it out on Broadway. It is so amazing.
I think it's still in previews and they're opening opening soon,

(01:59):
So go to.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
In other Broadway shows. I think she has.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I think she definitely has. I think she actually did
this in the UK as well, in the UK version.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I think.

Speaker 6 (02:08):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
So they're saying, you're saying that she may get an
award from this run.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
She should. She definitely should.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
She's so good speaking in Broadway. Did you know who
Gavin Creole was? Yes, of course, Tony Award winning Broadway star.
He passed away at forty eight years old from this
very aggressive form of cancer. He was in thoroughly Modern
Milly and Hair, Hello Dolly, didn't we see him? We
saw him in something as well. I mean I never
met Gavin Creole, but a lot of people we know

(02:34):
loved him and we're good friends with him, and they're
really really sad at his loss.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
He was with Bette Midler and Hello Dolly.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Look at that.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Anyway, so I'm sure some lights will be dimmed on
Broadway for Gavin Creole. Hey, what's on your mind today? Scary?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
So I didn't realize this, but TikTok taught me that
every night in Times Square, all the ad screens, all
of them give you art for three minutes. I have
seen that, but I saw it on TikTok, but I
want to go there. One night at eleven fifty seven
if you're in Times Square, you look it up at
all the screens in the area.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
It goes, It counts down ten, nine, eight.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Seven, sixty five, four, three, two one, all the screens
in Unison, and then for three minutes up until midnight,
you get artwork and they're showing you artwork on all
of the Times Square screens. It's fascinating. I'm like, oh
my god, this has been going on in my own city,
under my nose, and I've never.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Seen a wonder. I wonder how long this has been
going on, because I just learned a bit about it
recently as well.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
And a lot of people gather every night in Times
Square to see this at eleven fifty seven pm every night.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Scary. Go out tonight, Go out tonight, scary, and report
back tomorrow morning. I'm gonna do you, Hey, producer Sam,
what's up with you today?

Speaker 7 (03:43):
I want to encourage everyone to try the thing, even
if it freaks them out a little bit. So, like
a year and a half ago, I really wanted to
sign up for pottery classes, but I was in a
place I was feeling so insecure. So I was trying
to convince a friend of mine to sign up with me,
and she refused. So I did it anyway, reluctantly. And
here we are again in a year and a half later,
and I was one of three witnesses at a wedding

(04:05):
that I met at that first pottery class. I made
one of my best two of my best friends as
an adult in that pottery class. I can't believe I
showed up knowing how you know, awkward and socially closed
I can be in the real world. But I'm so
happy I did it change my life. So go do
something despite your fears. It might be awesome. You might
be a witness at a wedding.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Who knows excellent. We love you, producer, Sam, Thanks for
showing up. What did you have for dinner last night? Again?

Speaker 7 (04:29):
What was that?

Speaker 6 (04:29):
Ooh?

Speaker 7 (04:30):
I had jerk Mahi mahi on couscous It's delicious.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I love couscous Daniel, you love your freaking coast cool.
So what's up there? Straight and eight? What's up?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
Okay, it's that time of year, It's October and it's
Major League playoffs. Yeah, so hi five Hi fie go Tigers.
And congratulations. So Scary and I were talking about this
last night. One hundred and sixty two games.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
These guys play one.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
Hundred and sixty two games and it all comes down
to Webb or not you make the playoffs. Yeah, so
congratulations to all the teams that made it in I
hope the.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Tigers, especially the Mets. The way we play the Mets,
I got to hand it to the Mets. My god,
the last second. Ida, It's very cool.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
We have two New York teams in there. I love it.
That's scary. I don't know if the heart attack was
because of the game, but I'm sure it is brought
on by the game. By the way, you know Deanna,
Deanna knows everything Broadway. She says, this was Michelle Kershner
what is her name? Nicole Scherzingers Broadway debut, but she
won the Olivier Award for Sunset Boulevard on the West

(05:36):
End in London. So there's that. And also Gavin Creole
best friends with Sarah Brellis. He was in a waitress
and that's where I.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Remember seeing well, yes, he was waitress.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
He was uh, gandhi, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 8 (05:46):
Okay, tonight when everyone goes home and goes to sleep.
I want you to pay attention to how long it
takes you to fall asleep, because I just learned that
you are supposed to take between fifteen and twenty minutes
to actually doze off.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
If you hit the bed.

Speaker 8 (05:58):
And go to sleep immediately, it could be an indicator
of a health problem. If you fall asleep and it
takes you forever, could be an indicator of a health problem.
So pay attention how long it takes you to fall asleep.
You might have some insomnia, some sleep apnea, some other
things that would have obstruct your breathing and make it
a little more difficult. So just pay attention to that.
I did not know until literally today.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
So there saying fifteen to twenty minutes is the is
the healthiest?

Speaker 8 (06:22):
Yes, that's the healthiest.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Well, so i paced either PI pass out immediately or
I'm up for three hours. I'm so, I'm I guess
I'm not healthy. Oh no, here we go and there
you go.
