Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's go around the room. Let's start with scary, scary.
What's going on? I might be maturing. Well, I'll tell
you why.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Because I went to Target yesterday and I went shopping
and then I checked out, and then I went to
drive drive my cart to the car, and I noticed
I forgot it was a case of water underneath that
I didn't check out. Now, the old me would have
been like, yes, screw it, I'm just gonna just take
this and drive away. But I said, you know what,
I'm gonna do the right thing. And I went in
and I went and I went to pay for the
(00:33):
water because it was the right thing to do. I
had forgotten the water under the cart, and I went
back into the store and I paid for it. So,
but that's the difference between the old me and the
new me. So I don't know something's changed in me
over the years, but I feel like I'm a better
version of myself these days.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
That's very good.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
You did the right thing, so I get credit for that.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Right.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
No, so the next time you can do the wrong thing.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
No, No, don't get bad for saying this. I say
it to all my kids. I've been saying it for years.
Just because you do the right thing doesn't mean you
get to be congratulated for it. You do the right
thing because it's the right thing. Period. There's there's no prize.
I wait for my flowers. You got no flowers.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I'll give you. I'll give you flowery scared because you
know me and my car.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Okay, it's the right thing. You do the right thing
in life because it's the right thing. You don't expect
any bravo. You don't expect any standing ovation. You know
what I'm saying. People, do you agree with that? Guard it?
Speaker 4 (01:28):
I agree with it, but you know people expect it.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, well the people who are that's the wrong thing, right,
it's not the right thing.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
The Bronx and Brooklyn guys, what do you want?
Speaker 2 (01:40):
So you're just you're blaming Burrows of New York City
on your doing the wrong thing and getting away with it.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, everybody in the Bronx and Brooklyn Steel.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Now, Danielle and spouse, everybody, what's up with your froggy?
Speaker 5 (01:55):
So today I come into work and we did get
an email yesterday that told us that there we were
having some air conditioning issues here in the radio station.
It is, honestly, it's one hundred degrees in the studio today.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
It is.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
It is oppressively hot, like you can barely breathe its air.
It's so hot. I forgot. I walked into the room
and I'm like, oh, that's right. I had the decision
either stay here, work across the hall, or go home.
I tried to work across the hall. That studio is
hotter than this one. I'm like, oh, we're gonna stay here.
So a little hot today, they say they're gonna get
it fixed by this afternoon, so fingers crossed tomorrow. It's
(02:28):
not one hundred degrees.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
We're watching Froggy on the camera and he is schwitching
a little bit yep, and you know what he was saying,
it's so hot. He was about to pass out. It's
that hot. It is. It is. It's so hot you
can't even breathe the air. It's so hodd you soon
I passed out exhaustion. There's no damages.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
I have no damages to super.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Well, if you pretend you fay, we'll get it on.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Zoom there you go. Okay, Hey, Gandhi what's up with you?
Speaker 4 (02:52):
It's Wednesday, which means my podcast is out today, a
new episode Sauce on the side. Wherever you get your podcast,
but of course we like you get it from the
iHeartRadio app for Andrew Dunmond and I have some interesting
discussions this time really about what well we found out
something kind of wild about Andrew's mother that has, by
the way, been making him try to fight me in
the hallway every time I walk out there.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, you said there was an issue. What what did
you find out about his mom? It's to tease the podcast, she's.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
She taps on the glass at the zoo.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Oh my god, Oh my god. Someone that says, no,
she's a minute.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Well, the way Andrew pitched it was my mom's a
cat whisperer. She goes up to the glass and she
does this little scratch thing and all the cats approach
the glass and we were like, wait a second, your
mother is the person that taps on the glass. And
then he lost his mind and now he's trying to
fight everybody because he thinks we're talking bad about Donna.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
But we love her. I know. The reason to listen to.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
There's a lot more than that.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I promise on the.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Side, controversy going on on the side, I was.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Waiting for Andrew to kick the door in because he gets.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
So Danielle, what's with you?
Speaker 6 (03:54):
All right? So yesterday at this time, Scary was trying
to describe to you, remember mind Play the show that
he saw, and I told you I was going to
see it last night, so I'm here to actually explain.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
It to you.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I was waiting for a real explanation, but go ahead.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Vinnie di Ponto, who is from Westchester.
Speaker 6 (04:12):
He was wonderful and he is a mentalist, and I
am honestly gonna tell you I have no idea how
he does half the stuff that he does. People in
the audience were astounded. They were cursing when he would
when he would like guess something or figure something out,
they would go get the blieve out of here, Like
he takes people from the audience.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Everything's done in front of us.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
I don't know, but it's amazing if you can see
it while you're in New York, or like Scary said yesterday,
if there's something like this by you, mind play it,
it really will blow your mind. And it's, like I said,
Vinnie Deponto, it's he's amazing. He's awesome.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I'm gonna go now now that you've described it.
Speaker 6 (04:49):
Quite And he based a lot of it on his grandparents.
He was very close to his grandparents growing up, and
so they're very They're in this show a lot like
he talks about them and it gets emotional.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
I tell you what. Some mentalists have these shows that
are great and there's almost like a magic show. And
there are other ones that have content that makes you
think and feel. Oh yeah, and it brings up emotions
and things like that. And I'm hearing that those are
the best ones.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
That was And he made it seem at certain points
when he messed things up, and as soon as he
did it, I'm like, no, we didn't.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
This has something to do with what's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
And it did, of course it did.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
That was awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Hey, producer, Sam, what's up with you today?
Speaker 7 (05:24):
Today is a very important day for me because it
is one of my three favorite peoples on this planet's birthday.
It is my sister Fara's birthday. She really is freaking amazing.
I can't believe I have I'm lucky enough to have
two sisters. All three of us are such different auras
and energies, but they are still the two top people
(05:46):
in my entire universe, plus my husband. I really don't
know who's in first place. But I love you, Sarah.
Happy birthday. You're getting married this year. This is going
to be your best age yet and I can't wait
to celebrate a whole bunch of things with them for you.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Oh, happy birthday. That was really sweet. Yeah, well you're
the last one there straight innate. What's up with you today? Well,
we all became.
Speaker 8 (06:05):
Experts at this, and it's time to do it again.
If you stop doing it, start washing your hands again people.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Last flu.
Speaker 8 (06:12):
Yeah, we were talking about this earlier. The flu levels
are at all time highs rsvs at all time highs.
People have pneumonia. There's two hundred and some people waiting
to get into an er. Wash your hands, scary demonstrated
yesterday he coughed into his the croak of his arm. Yeah,
instead of sneezing on Gandhi.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Don't cough on people like last night.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Thank you, Yes, start just just do that for a
couple of weeks. Don't even exhale any near me, I mean,
don't even exhale ever, But you get inhale, just don't exit,
thank you very much. And by the way, you were
talking earlier scary and you were around the room segment
about how you've become a changed person. And you deserve
some sort of credit for taking the water palette back
(06:54):
into the target to pay for it. You did the
right thing. I love this text. My friend wasn't charge
for a three hundred dollars in espresso and she drove
home faster than speedy Gonzales.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Don't do that, Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
And then so what else said? Don't return things if
you find them in your car at your car, because
if you do you take them back in, they'll there's
a chance that will arrest you.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
I don't know if you go in and no accidentally
took this.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
No anyway, I'll just pay for your stuff. It's that simple.
