and you're looking very, very hot and handsome.

Speaker 6 (00:57):
I appreciate that.

Yeah, I'm gonna take you out to be your wingman.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Let's do it. I'm in And there's a scary doesn't
say hid and to scary Hi?

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Hi, And there's diamond Diamond by the way, uh is
plowing through the New Britney Spears book. But Danielle's ahead
of you.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
On chapter fifteen, whoa, she's killing me.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
What's your favorite moment? I don't want to. It's okay
to talk my favorite moments in the book. Are we
giving away to? What's your favorite moment in the book
so far? Diamond?

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Where her mom finds out that she smokes cigarettes? Oh,
I don't know. That was kind of funny to me.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
All right, Diamond just played me one little excerpt that
actually made me laugh out loud.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Which is the one about about justin Timberlake's black scent.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yes, that's the one. What do you say? Like fo shoes?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
So what happened? He was walking in on the streets
of New York City, Yes, with Brittany.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
With Brittany, and they ran into Genuine you know pony
and he just said, uh, what did he say before fosches?
Like all right, fosches bushes genu Why.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Heaven read by Michelle Williams. Yes, here we go. Let
me let me get a little pieces. Can I play this?

Speaker 6 (02:06):
Ye?

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Walking our way was a guy with a huge blinged
out medallion. He was flanked by two giant security guards.

Speaker 7 (02:13):
Jay got all excited and said, so loud.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Oh yeah, Genuine, what's up homies?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
His black scent? Also, like she how she talks about
how and Sync really tried to be more of the
the more Well, what do they what did.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
She called it? Something specific like something pop a something
pop group.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Oh, she was talking about how uh, how Backstreet Boys
were more like white and sink they all tried to like.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Hang out with like black artists.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, love Brittany.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
How scary does that every scary runs into like someone
from Power went five on the Scary? My man, my man,
my man, Oh god, that what's up dog scary with
his black scent?

Speaker 6 (03:12):
What?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Nate?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Oh? Is Joe Gatto here? I'm bringing Joe Gatto in here,
Joe getto do you have a black scent when you
run into Genuine on the streets of New York City?
Did you hear the story? Here? Come in? I know
I'm kind of hitting you with a lot at the
same time. Joe Gatto is here. By the way, I
was so tired just that it on Tomorrow's What did

(03:35):
I say on Tomorrow's show, our good friend Jim Gotto,
Jonathan Ghetto? I know you, I said tomorrow John Gotti.
I was so I was so tired. I'm sorry. It's
great to see you, Pelvis.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Joe Joe Gatto, not Gotto Gatto Gaddo.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
We corrected that one about ten years ago. So now
I gotta go from Jim to Joel. John Gotti is here.
Good to see you, Good to see you.

Speaker 7 (04:11):
You know.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I love the fact that, gosh, is it safe to save?
This is really the first time you've been on stage
by yourself. We've been coming up at the Beacon Theater
in New York.

Speaker 6 (04:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, Beacon Theater very haunted by.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
The one super haunted. Oh my.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
They took me through a tour. I was like, kick
the lights on. This place is crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
The elevator has like one of those old school like
the gates that you shut yourself and it literally goes creek.
And I was like, I'm good, I'll take the stairs.
It is so haunted. Our friend Darren Feffer gave me
a tour years ago, and uh yeah. But the thing
about the elevator, so if you go to a show
at the Beacon Theater in New York City, you don't
see backstage. It's kind of cool backstage because it is
old in fighting. The elevator has photos, I say, actually

(04:50):
auto signatures, and on the outside is the photos of everybody.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
That's like sign that.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I'm up there? You are you up there yet? I'm
not there yet. No, you gotta sign that. Okay, I will,
I will. I'll tell him that you said it was okay.
Please do what Security drags me out. It's like no,
Elvis said it was fine. Hey, So now that you're
you're a solo. Yeah, is this good?

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I mean, do you miss having the backup of sure
of your friends.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Well, there's nothing like working with your friends. You know,
that's the best part in life. But you know, you
make adjustments and uh, it's it's it's different. It took
me a while to get used to it, but I'm
used to it now. The difference, the difference, Yeah, but
it's the difference. Well, you're up there, you know, you're
twenty five percent of the funny, that's all you have
to worry about. And then you cruise in. Well, other
people are talking and stuff. But now it's you know,
the whole sixty five minutes is on you. So that's

(05:35):
the biggest difference. If you're feeling off or something doesn't work,
now you have to get through the rest of.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
Us by yourself when you bomb.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yeah, yeah, can't anyone that's right? Your fault. Who's uh,
who's opening up for you?

Speaker 7 (05:47):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (05:47):
Jiggy, My friend Mark was in the corner of here, Jiggy.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, so I heard that.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Trying to figure out an audience a comedy. Is this
frightening to me? I mean, I'm poo, I'm pip, I'm
pooing everyone's pay it's just thinking about it. I can't
even say it. So Jiggy will come off stage and go, hey,
bad audience. He has a visual que where he does
like an old school like girsh like, and if it

(06:14):
comes off, it gives me that I know I'm gonna
have some work to do. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Ow do you though if an audience is just sucky,
I blame him?

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Well, it's his fault. Yeah, I just know I have
to work a little harger in the beginning.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
Well.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
It was the biggest difference for me though, was going
from comedy clubs to theaters because I was used to
being on a bigger stage. I use my body a lot,
you know, my body's a comedic weapon, so I need
the runway. So I was on these little comedy club
stages and I just felt like cage. And then when
I started to move to theaters, when more people came
out and they were bigger shows, I felt a little
bit more room to room, room to room. Yeah, yeah,
I was always falling.

Speaker 6 (06:45):
Off the stage.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I'm gonna just screeching, halt this thing for a second.
Can I just say you know, we've known Joe for years,
the nicest guy. I mean people always ask us you
meet everyone, I mean, what are they like? And some
are great? We're okay, Joe gatto Is. I'm getting goosebumps
just talking about a heart the size of the planet
Earth and beyond and just a super sweet guy. So

(07:08):
when we see you out there conquering the Beacon and
other shows with Jiggy opening, I mean, yeah, we could
not I was speaking foreveryone. We could not be happier
for you.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate that. Yeah, I've
always loved you guys. You're the best.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Can I tell you one time Joe and I can't
remember the details, I got a text from Joe. He said,
I see that you're really into set Island Zoo. I
really am on your behalf. I just made a contribution
to the zoo. I'm like, what, what are you crazy?
Didn't ask for that? Times are tough.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I didn't ask for that.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
You take it back. At one time, Joe Ghetto's he
sent me a cash gift card. I'm like, what are
you doing?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I listened to you. You know, I've been listening to
you for years. I mean, you're a generational in the
Gatto home. My mother used to listen with you. I
listen with you, and now my daughter on the way
to school, my son and daughter, when we drive, we
listen to you.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Guys. I got you.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
I got you. It's good to have your name on
the T shirt. Yeah, hey, Joe Gatto walked in. I
don't know if you noticed. Danielle and Gandhi and Froggy.
There's a bag. I mean, you don't come empty handed
to somebody's play that game. What's in the bag?

Speaker 4 (08:24):
I brought?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I brought pastry, of course, because I'm not the scratsiad right, scary.
You gotta come to a house with something in your hand.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
You know this. I got some pastry here.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
There is this from you.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Just quit everything, was doing the whole show, just doed
it's off the air right now.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Scary. Yeah, I was left the steering wheel behind. These
are beautiful pastries. Where'd you get these pastries? I went
to lemon Man, Yeah, on the walk. It was a
French place. I grant my coffee. That was like, let
me pre them, so I thought you guys should want
You can't wear these, Danielle, And that's how I say sorry, a.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Peach cobbler on your See. How many dogs are we
up to? Now?

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Another reason to love Joe gat Yeah, we've graduated. We're
now a full blown nonprofit operating out on Long Island.
We are Ghetto Pups and Friends. We started the nonprofit
last November and now instead of just collecting all these
old decrepit dogs, we actually try to find them homes,
which is fun. So we just had our fiftieth adoption
with Cinnamon roll Or. She's a thirteen year old piple
who found a home. So we just adopted out our

(09:31):
fiftieth dog.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Every dog must have the name of a food.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah, they're all named after Italian desserts and pastries because
that's on brand.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Might have to get one of those.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, I won't have to come get one of those.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
You need.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
I want a dog so badly. Do you have any
like real lemons? I have a Lemon.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
The dog's name is Living. We operate only with Lemons.
It's a senior dog rescue. So it's mostly just they
just sleep.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
And hang out. And that's super dog, you know what.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
That's the thing. And it still breaks my heart to
know that there are families that actually just abandon their
dog because they're just not young puppies anymore. Yeah, and
these dogs they deserve to live out the best of life.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, it's funny to get like a second life when
they come back into a new home, like you see
them in the shelter falling apart, but then they get
there the the you know, the tailor's wagon and stuff.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
It's great.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Yeah, it's true. So if you can you know, wherever
you're living, where you're listening, there is there is a
shelter in your in your town that's waiting for you
to go pay a visit and take a dog home.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Yeah for sure.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
So how many do you have in your house?

Speaker 6 (10:27):
Though?

Speaker 3 (10:27):
So the Gatto pups are nine. You know, I'm gonna
make you do it. Yeah, So we have nine, and
that makes you do it. Every time from oldest to youngest.
Oh my god, Oh, we got a real oldie right now,
a real zombie mocha Mocha. Oh, the tongue hangs out,
zero teeth, five bounds. Yeah, blind walks off everything chance.
So she's like a stunt dog. Yeah, mocha.

Speaker 6 (10:50):
Great.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
They'll bounce into the wall, turns around. It's like a room.
It's a room.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
But when a tongue hanging out and no teeth that
you go back. Okay, So Mocha then go okay. So
after Mocha, oh, I mean we're talking like thirty dogs here.
So after Mocha, I know the oldest and I know
the youngest. The youngest is Cupcake, which is my daughter's
favorite dog. It's a year and a half old. But
then in between I think that after Mocha is probably
gonna be oh, yes, it's gonna be Peaches, who is

(11:18):
Cream's mom. This Peaches and Cream. We have a bonded
fair Peaches and Cream. And then after Peaches, you go
down the line. You're gonna have to Toni, You're gonna
have uh. After that is gonna be Barada Muzadel then
Fini Alfredo, your brother in sister Fini Alfredo and then
uh yeah, I got yeah this there's a bunch, there's
it's too many.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
You need a tolone.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
I don't have you got it from her Bronxide. You
know what to me? The website. I'm on the website.
All of these dogs are amazing. Hey, so what's the website?
The official website Ghatto Pups dot com. On friends dot
com it says Gattle Pup.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
It redirects. I don't know what you're looking at. Whose
dogs are these? Oh yeah it's Gatto Pups and Friends.
Those are ours. But if Gatto Pups and Friends is
the charity, yeah, that's our first dog.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Can do you do fundraisers?

Speaker 6 (12:09):
You're gettingn invit?

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (12:10):
The money goes to like the money goes exactly to where, well,
we have we just got our adoption center in Town
and Glennhead, New York. So we have that, and then
the money goes to help feed, home and medical bills
of all these dogs that we take in and then before.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
We rehome them. You know what is about to happen here?

Speaker 4 (12:26):
What's about to happen?

Speaker 1 (12:27):
On behalf of Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. You
have a good card we would like to make a
contribution of ten thousand dollars. No, come on, absolutely no, Joe. Now,
I gotta get your shoes. They love when I spend
their money and when you leave.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Like a dog like they have that just kind of
sits on your lap and like we could have that
here as a like.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
Our dog are office dog?

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, and we could each take turns taken it home.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Would it sounds very easydulous?

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I've got I've got a cop. They went diapers? Good,
so do I scary?

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Scary? A lot of people are text again loving Joe
Gatto on the show. What are you seeing? If I've
seen Joe, I'd faint. I'm such a fan. You got
me through some of my most darkest times all these years.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Oh yeah, I can't wait to see him about taking
us to see him at the Warner on Sunday?

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Where's the Warner? The Warner Sunday? Where are we Sunday?
We're in Cincinnati. Oh hi, we're in Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Oh my god. You guys don't state. You don't even
know where you are anyway. I don't even know how
you do that.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
I know.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah, we have we have three jingle balls and we
I don't know how how an artist or a comedian
can go out and go to all these cities and really,
do you have a sign that says you are in Cleveland.
I've done it, said the wrong city with confidence. Terrible.
Now I just say this state, I know it's stayed.
I'm in like Ohio. I don't get into the Yes,

(13:50):
Britney spears.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
In her book, she mentions that she says that she
went to so many places and it was so crazy
that she get out his age and not know where
the hell she was.

Speaker 6 (13:59):
Yeah, for sure, for sure.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Are you going to Philly?

Speaker 3 (14:01):
I am going to play I'm playing the met in
Philly the night before the Beacon on the January nineteenth.
But you go down to Miami, I've done I just
finished out Florida. Okay, I'm all over. But you could
find it on Joe gattoofficial dot com if you're looking
at those.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
We're always looking how to connect. Now, I will tell you.
When we do our jingle ball concerts, they always put
the sign up with the iHeart Radio jingle Ball logo,
and you are in Cleveland. To let the artists know
when they go out, Please don't say Philly.

Speaker 6 (14:30):
That's amazing.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Yeah, they need that because they're all over it. The
jingle balls are great though, though those are always my favorite.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
You're usually there always.

Speaker 6 (14:36):
Yeah, it's like, what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
I remember distinctly one year I'm in backstage, and backstage
I work my way to get a backstage pass.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
However I get it. I don't want to get into details,
and I want back at.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Danielle looks me in the face goes, what are you
doing back here?

Speaker 1 (14:51):
It's not even like a happiness see you? Like security
has been breached. That's Danielle. Okay. So talk about you
and Jiggy. So Jiggy's opening for you. How do you
meet a Jiggy?

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (15:04):
How do you? How do you choose? I mean, because
what you guys do on the road together is a
It's an interesting relationship for sure.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
For sure, he's my confidant, tour manager and friend on
the road. He's also very funny. So he put him
up on stage to open. But he's a I know
you ten years right? I know Mark about ten years
and we met him. He was opening for the Jokers
and we met him through a friend of ours. It
was like we needed an opener somewhere and he said, Hey,
I know this guy Jiggy, and we're like, we.

Speaker 6 (15:29):
Got to see what this guy looks like.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
He's gonna come out and play. So he came out,
he did great, and we've been friends.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
And then when I had to go on my own
and I need somebody to help me both sculpt my hour.
Because he's a seasoned stand up, he's very good to
help me figure out the whole thing about going from
doing a solo show. He was instrumental in that. And
then he's very funny and we get along. So I
was like, wy, don't you just come with me on
the road. So we've been touring together with Joe Gadda's
Night of Comedy for almost.

Speaker 6 (15:54):
Two years now.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Now, as you listen to Joe Gatto and talking about
Jiggy and going down the road, I don't know if you,
as you're sitting in traffic or whatever you're doing, have
ever gone into a stage and tried to make a
room full of people laugh. It is and you guys
are seasons pros, but for us it's the most frightening thing.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Ever, yeah, it is how people do it. One night
when Caroline is open Caroline called and said, we're doing
a big function this weekend. We want you to host.
It's a fundraiser, but you need to go up and
do some spam duff And I'm I say, Caroline, I
can't do that. And you know, she's just the sweetest
person in the world. And Greg, you can't say no
to them, right and Louis remember Lewis?

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Anyway, So I went out there and I I just froze,
like I'm doing right now.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
I just froze. But how you get out there? Because
you know there's rejection involved and this is the issue.
There's rejection, and I don't do rejection well. But as
a comedian, some nights you're gonna have them and they're
gonna laugh, You're gonna wowna roll down, and there's some
nights it's just crickets. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
How do you get through a life if almost not
a comedian, but they're going through a career that it
involves rejection, like sales or something like that.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
How do you how do you push through that?

Speaker 3 (17:07):
I think you for the most part, I think I've
been through a lot of different things where you've had
to have a tough skin. As they say, or whatnot.
But I think it's okay to be in your feelings.
I think a lot of people don't sit in that.
And I think if you are going through a time
where you feel like nothing's going right, just it's okay
to say nothing's going right and then realize what you
could do. It's all steps, right, It's all about a
little bit of like moving one stone at a time

(17:29):
to get to the light.

Speaker 6 (17:29):
I think. I think that's you got to control what
you can control. Now.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
For me, that's what it was. It was like, Okay,
let's this isn't work and what can I do? And
then figure it out?

Speaker 1 (17:36):
I want to talk about something and I don't just
you know, I love you? Yeah, Uh, okay, anyone right
now who's listening, who is going through a shift in life?
And you know what I'm talking about. We're talking about
the plates of the earth or crawling all over each
other and things are shifted. You have recently been to
a shift in your life? Yeah, and it's uh, And

(17:58):
you've made it very public, so I don't mind asking you.
And I was very happy to see that you and
your wife are back together and doing really well. Right,
kids and dogs and yeah, and no one wants to
know anything about details, because we're all in relationships.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
We all know that they're the toughest thing ever. Talk
about rejection, goes through it based on.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Reject but talk about what it's like entering a new
season in your in your life where things are working again.
I'm making assumption things are great in all aspects. I
mean to tour with you and Jiggy and wife and kids.
What's that like?

Speaker 3 (18:37):
What are you feeling about this? What did you learn
from all of whatever this is? I think I learned
the biggest thing they learned is that your time and
your attention is what is the most important thing that
you could deal with as a person, not only what
you give to people on the receiving end, but what
you spend your time giving towards. And I think that's
a big part of it to be to make sure,

(18:59):
Like I tell the story that my daughter two weeks
before COVID started, when I came home and my daughter,
who was four at the time, I think, said Daddy,
I love when you come home to visit, and I
mean talk about just you're doing something wrong right, you know,
to feel that? And I was like, oh, I was
like okay, so so like to have like little things
like that, and then in the moment you're just laugh
at like, oh, kids say that, you know, the funniest things,

(19:20):
you know kind of thing. But then it's like you
when you sit back and relax and you're alone in
your new apartment and the first time I'm ever living
by myself after I separated from my wife, and I'm
just sitting there and it's.

Speaker 6 (19:28):
Like, oh, this is this is not what this is?

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Did you need it? I mean, I mean, I guess
so if we panned out back together, I think.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Why, I know, But look, you know, we we go
through these things in life and these challenges, these things
are just mow us the hell over, and in hindsight
sometimes you're like, wow, I guess I really needed that
so I could shine the light on what was really
truly important.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
Yeah. I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Good.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
Yeah, I'm happy I've ever been.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
I feel like in my family, I'm a father, I'm
a partner, I'm a husband, and I'm somebody could be
that my mom and dad could look down and be
proud about that.

Speaker 6 (20:02):
This is me now, And I think that's what it's about.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
It.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
I know.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
The thing and the reason I bring this up and
using you as an example, congratulations, is there are there
are people driving to work right now, or driving to
school whatever, and they're going through something extremely challenging and
wondering what the future is.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
It's it's a question mark, it's a fog. What am
I driving into today?

Speaker 4 (20:23):
You know?

Speaker 3 (20:24):
And you got to know that it's still your life?
What is the end game? This is my new things,
new mantras I try, and people get so sick of
my mantras.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
I love you man. Well, well here's the thing. I'm
an older guy, you know, and so I'm thinking, like,
what is the end game here in life? Is it
sitting here with my best friends every day till I croak,
just you know, telling fart jokes, guys like I love it?
What is the end game? Of course, a lot of
people listening aren't really Maybe they're young and don't want
to think about the endgame. And that's fine, it's cool,

(20:54):
but at some point in your life you got to think, well,
where am I going with this? I made some decisions
that put me here, but I want to be over here.
And you did this?

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yeah, I mean, with a lot of help, a lot
of a lot of help with everybody. You know, you
don't get through that stuff by yourself. You know, you
have people in your life that check in make sure
you're okay. But I think the big part is, you know,
remember life sucks, stuck harder and I think that's really
what you.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
Have to do.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
And now you have a new mantra, I'll talk matters
all day, a T shirt that says that I.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Know, well, let's talk podcasts. Yeah, okay, so you're part
of the iHeartRadio podcasting network. I worked my way in
now that Sorry.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
You always what you always dreamed of working with Danielle
and Gandhia Joe Getta.

Speaker 6 (21:41):
What are you doing here?

Speaker 3 (21:45):
And I know I've heard you talk a lot about
the strength of your mom and your life for sure
and uh and I know your partner on the podcast
Steve Yeah, Steve Burn, Steve Burn.

Speaker 6 (21:53):
Very funny comedian friend of mine for a long time.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
I read one so where you both grew up wanting
to be you're a cool mom. Cool.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Yeah, we've all had cool moms who gave great advice.
I mean that my mom was known for that in
the neighborhood. To being like a confident on. Steve was
one of the guys that I'm speaking of that helped
me during my time of need. He actually was the
first weekend I ever performed solo. It was me, him
and Jiggy out in Appleton, Wisconsin. Uh so have you
been must Skip?

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (22:20):
We actually we're actually number one in Appleton.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Nervous, I'm not no, No, I love no. It was
just it was just there was it was so white.
It was like I jumped into a bowl of milk
and I was talking to marshmallows. That's quite us. But
it was so fun.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
No diversity, but it was great.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
Weirdly enough, I have family that lives there.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
They might be the spot. Yeah, blown away, I'm blown away.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Obviously did not come to the show.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
So I uh so.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Steve and I both had really cool moms that gave
great advice, and we found when we started talking and
we want to do a podcast together.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
We were telling stories about.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Our mothers all the time, and then we were like,
you know what we could Our moms have given us
a lot of advice.

Speaker 6 (22:57):
We're known for giving good advice. Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
So our podcast, too Cool Moms is we spend the
first half just talking about anything. In the second half,
we solve fans submitted dilemmas as best we can.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Wow, I love that. Okay, then Joe gado the best advice.
I know it's hard to choose one, the best advice
your mother ever gave you.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Oh, it's impossible to choose one, I think, But I
mean there's some that stick out for sure, I really
do think. I think one of the biggest ones was
winners surround themselves with winners. I think that she says,
you always want to be some surround yourself with people
that help bring you up, and don't be afraid to
cut people out of your life that don't think why
are you looking at me like that?

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Because you're trying to get rid of me.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
I just have a pastry, y, So I have something
for you, Okay.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
I have your mom.

Speaker 6 (23:42):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Yeah, from ten years ago. TJ used to be on
our show, Yeah and was interviewing your mom.

Speaker 6 (23:48):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
You want to hear a piece of it, for sure.

Speaker 7 (23:52):
I listened to you every weekday. Now I can't I
can't even begin to tell you. And you need to
know that when he was younger, much younger, he came
to his Dad and I, and he said, you know what,
I want to be a stand up comic and Joe
and I my husband looked, Joe, Yes, an account. It
would be nice. A lawyer will give. We know that

(24:15):
this brain child that I delivered is now on TV.
