Practice practice, It's true. It's true. If you want to
get to Carnegie Hall. You know what, I've always been
torn on how to pronounce that name of that family.
I've heard it pronounced Carnegie. I've heard it pronounce Carnegie.
Can we please get a ruling on that?

Speaker 13 (05:46):
Okay, I'll call Canage Milan University.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Call it in Pittsburgh. Yes, give him a call. Hey,
welcome to the day. Hey everybody, let's get into the
three things we need to know. Gandhi, how you feel
feeling great?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, it's Friday, It's Valentine's Day.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I walked. I walked into Gandhi's studio this morning, and
I pulled my sleeve up and I shot up right
in front of her.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Literally, he had a needle in his hand. He busted
in there. Shut up. I was like, what is freakd
diamond out? She was like, ah, what did you shoot up?

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Is biosmpic stuff?

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Ah?

Speaker 7 (06:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Everyone looked at me like, oh my god, he's a junkie.
Oh what are you gonna do?

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah, it's great.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
It really is a dramatic entrance to a room.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I've never actually encountered somebody entering a room like that.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
That's my new dragon name, Sharon Needles.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
She did turn around. He was like, now it's your turn.
I have to get that thing away from that.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
You do it all right. Let's roll into the three
things we get on with our Valentine's Day. What's going on? Gandhi?

Speaker 2 (06:45):
What is going on? More than two hundred thousand federal
employees may soon be let go by the Trump administration.
The Office of Personnel Management has reportedly advised all federal
agencies to terminate their probationary employees. Federal workers can be
on probation for up to two years before where their
civil service job protections begin. The order could affect more
than nine percent of the current federal workforce. The president

(07:07):
of the American Federation of Government Employees says his group
will fight the firings, blasting the administration for what he
called a radical agenda that prioritizes cronyism over competence. You
may have to pay more for chocolate this Valentine's Day
because of a global Coco shortage. The cost of the
name Coco shortage, Coco shortage.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Welcome to the stage cocoa shortage.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
You have a lot of good ideas this morning.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Why is there a cocoa shortage?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Well, let's see. Hold on, now I have to dig
deeper into ruin it for everyone. You did? You ate
it all? The cost of chocolate is up about twenty
percent because of these high cocoa prices. It's a key
ingredient in chocolate. It's harvested mostly in West Africa, where
cocoa crops have been hit hard recently by climate change
and disease. That's what's making the prices go up and
the supply go down. Chocolate makers are in turn passing

(07:55):
that price hike on to all of us. How exciting.
And finally, today's day Philadelphia is ready to party. City
officials expect one million people.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Today's the day they're gonna have no light poles left.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Oh man, there like a way to secure drag.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Named light pole? No, okay, back to the drawing board,
light pole seems So? What time does a parade start?
How do I get there?

Speaker 8 (08:17):
All?

Speaker 9 (08:17):
Right?

Speaker 2 (08:17):
So the Eagles are going to kick off the parade
in South Philly and move up Broad Street to City
Hall before heading down Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The team will
march down the rocky steps at the Museum of Art.
If you're in the area, They're saying, plan ahead for everything.
If you're going to work today, Septa and pat Co
Roots will not be running normal services. You're also gonna
want to bundle up because temperatures are going to be
in the thirties, but there will be sunshine. They want

(08:39):
everyone to have a good time and stay safe. Leave
the light poles alone. Yes, behave and those are your
three things.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yes, fun, good luck with that. They have fun by
ripping light poles out of the.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Ground like puppies, like human puppies.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Let's annihilate. Let's tear up that couch over there. Hey,
So last night I decided, since pennies are done, I'm
done with pay I'm gonna put them all in a
in a Maxwell House coffee can and get rid of them.
Pennies a right out of my life.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
No you want to keep them?

Speaker 1 (09:07):
No, I don't want them.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
People who have jars of pennies, I think they're gonna
be billionaires one day.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Speaking of do you know what Nate's new drag name is?
What tell them? Penny tration? Penny Tration, Hey, frog, you
gotta think of a dragon name. That is the that
is the assignment for the show today. What a Valentine's
gift for everyone. Everyone has to give me their dragon names.

Speaker 13 (09:25):
Okay, oh oh, I got another one for frog go
Pharah Moone, Pheromone.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Scary is going to be known as Chlamydia Burns. Who's
going to be Chaffeta buffet? That's me?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (09:40):
And Alex is Sheila Noya. Alex says, I think I'm
calling out sick today. Here's why. Ready, he had to
get up to go to the bathroom twice last night. Okay,
I think I think it's the Big D diarrhea. Should
we call him and tell him we're talking about his
diarrhea real quick? Get him on the Lord, can you

(10:00):
get on? He said? He said this meme a little kid,
Oh god, kid falling to the toilet seat. We're about
to go out on vacation to the Caribbean.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Get it out now now.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
I don't think they'll let him in to the country
we're going to. We'll find out. This is very riveting
radio the day after Radio Day. What's scary?

Speaker 3 (10:23):
I didn't know diarrhea is known as the Big D.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, I mean my mind with other places. Of course,
of course it did get a he don entry you
know what, because he's.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
In the battle phone in the bathroom or the sound is.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Just gross you out. When you go to a hotel
there's a phone on the wall next to the toilet,
you don't get that.

Speaker 14 (10:42):
I did.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
In case you need to order something while you're on
the toilet.

Speaker 7 (10:45):
I need a hamburger.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I need to make your ketchup. All right, are you
guys ready for your Valentine's Day? Let's go.

It's got to be Wendy's at participating us. Wendy's.

Speaker 10 (11:15):

she is.

Speaker 7 (12:47):
She's got a lot of songs on here too.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah. And you know, I was asking Danielle, you know,
being a mom. I mean, she's a little girl, you know,
and she seems like an angel and they rehearse together
as a family. I think that's so cool. What a
boding moment they have every time they get together. But
when they're not rehearsing or singing, does she turned into
like a little bit?

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Probably?

Speaker 2 (13:06):

I hate that song?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
She said? I hate that song and I don't like families. Yep, monster, Diamond,
you are a monster.

I are Domini.

Speaker 7 (14:17):
Gandhi and I are like, your good luck with this,
and we walk out of the bath.

turned it on as a cough.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
See. This is how it works. If she turns her
microphone off, it turns her button off on my board. Yes,
and then I see it off. I'm like, oh, why
is Gandhi's microphone off? I turn I turned back on.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
So all of our listeners gott it.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Isn't there a cough button on there?

Speaker 2 (20:05):
No? It doesn't work.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Is it does? Push it in cough? It works? It does, Yes,
you gotta hold it down. You haven't.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
No what I'm saying. It still shuts it off on
your side.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
But that's fine. But no if it shut off as
he blewe but if you push the cough button, it
just everything goes off. If you need a cough, push
the button. There's cough on it.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I'm gonna do this.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
I think we've got a short in the microphone. I
guess Stop, you're gonna drive me insane. Don't can we
have that disconnected? Please? Can you get where's Jeff the engineer?
See it's Friday. We don't have an engineer on Friday.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Disconnect my cough button? Yes, this is aniacle.

Speaker 6 (20:49):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
I can't hang all that control. It is Valentine's Day.
I don't know if anyone's going to do anything special.
I know I've seen chocolates. The girls on the show
are exchanging chocolates.

Speaker 7 (21:00):
I's so sweet that, I mean Gandhi and not didn't
bring it anything. Everybody else Samantha is so she's so sweet. Well,
I will tell you she brought me a very special
gift today. She did.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Yes, it's better than any chocolates.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Well, you know she is a potter. She has pottery.
She does potteries and porcelains and all sorts of things.
She made a piece for me.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Oh so sweet.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
It weighs eight thousand pounds. Wow, and I was touched.
I got a little tear in my eye. If she's
put monks into it. Here's the thing. When someone makes
something for you, and you say this all the time, Gondi,
when someone makes something for you, it has that it's
a little different. It hits different, doesn't Yes, absolutely, Froggy,
make me something? What can you make?

Speaker 6 (21:43):
You know what?

Speaker 18 (21:44):
I'm not very good at making. I can fix something
if something's broken. I'm a good handymaan, But like making something,
not the best making.

Speaker 6 (21:51):
Well.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
I remember the last time I was visiting you, you
grilled me a steak on your green egg. Yes, I
can do that. I'll fix you in nice steak dinner,
the potato that's nice. What can you make me scary?
I was thinking about that. How about some macaroni art?
I love macaroni in the first.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Grade with the Elmer's glue on a piece of paper.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
You know, I'm gonna bring you some macaronis and melons glue.
I'm gonna see what you can actually do.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
I could do a lot with elbow macaroni.

Speaker 12 (22:15):
How about a yarn frame a yarn Yes, my kids
all made me yarn frames.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Yarn frames are fun. What can you make me?

Speaker 10 (22:22):
Now?

Speaker 13 (22:22):
I'm gonna go get some macaroni and make a little
Elvis a macaroni Elvis for you?

Speaker 8 (22:28):
What.

Speaker 7 (22:28):
I don't think that's gonna happen.

Speaker 13 (22:29):
You can put it on your coffee table at home,
show all of your friends and family.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
I would love a macaroni, Elvis.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
You already made a macaroni.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Where he said macaroni art, do you specifically said macartnie, Elvis?

Speaker 12 (22:40):
How about a jewelry box from a tongue depressers.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
I need a tongue depressed.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
One of those.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Did you make one of those?

Speaker 11 (22:48):
Harry?

Speaker 10 (22:50):
Yes, me too.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I love having my tongue depressed.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
You can make a kazoo out of those?

Speaker 1 (22:55):
You can?

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Yes, I need jewelry box.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
You don't want get any more already?

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Look? How about a lanyard?

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Lanyards? Oh yeah, with the things we get at jingle Ball.

Speaker 7 (23:07):
No, no, you used to make them.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
A camp yeah camp summer camp an ash tray.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
I don't smoke, but I can put I can put
rings and things in it. That is that the gay answer.
There needs to be cigarettes. I'm not gonna smoke cigarettes.
You have to smoke for this gif. Tell you what
if you if you make me an ash tray, I'll
pick up smoking.

Speaker 13 (23:29):
I would appreciate that. A lot of effort for you, Nate,
anything for you, anything for you.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Don't forget Nate.

Speaker 18 (23:36):
It's gotta have that little thing in the center to
hold a lot of cigarettes, ye.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Can prove on the side it needs to be big, yeah,
to hold all those ashes and butts. And where's Keana?
Thank for these? Keana brought these Valentine shape pressures. Very nice,
very nice, Happy Valentine's Day. I know what's the deal?

Speaker 7 (23:55):
Dan and I are not so nice?

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Yes, you are all right, Danielle. It's all you. What's
going on?

Speaker 8 (23:58):
Right?

Speaker 12 (23:58):
So let's talk about the Jonah's Brother's there gonna be
on with us after nine am Eastern time. And they
do have a big announcement. But they did panic their
fans just a little bit because they took to social
They wrote this heartfelt message that said to our incredible fans,
as a family, we have been reflecting a lot lately.
And right away people are like, are they breaking up.
But no, that's not what they're doing. It became clear

(24:20):
they were not saying but goodbye. They're celebrating their twentieth
anniversary and they love what they're doing, and so they
cannot wait to share with everyone what is next. And
they do have a big announcement today. It's gonna be
a lot of fun. You're gonna be excited to hear
all about it. So Selena Gomez has been telling us,
I'm not putting out any music. I'm just focusing on
my acting. Guess what she tricked us and she said

(24:42):
she did. She actually has a new music project that
she's been working on with her man Benny Blanco, and
it's a brand new album. It's a project called I
Said I Love You First. It's a collab with him,
and it's supposed to come out on March twenty first.
So Rap Bailey estimated that Kendrick lamar Are traveled over
one hundred and forty five yards during his Super Bowl performance.

(25:05):
That's three times more yards than the Chiefs got. They
only got forty nine. Your heart well running the ball
during the Super Bowl. Yeah, just a little tidbit for
you there. So let's talk about Legally Blonde. I don't
know if you saw this video, but it is so cute.
Reese Witherspoon has been searching for her new el Woods

(25:25):
for the prequel series for Legally Blonde. She finally found her.
Her name is Lexi Miintree. First of all, she looks
just like Race, she sounds just like Race. She's so cute,
and she took the social to kind of like tell
her in person that she got the part. It's really
really cute. So if you get a chance, you may
want to check that out. Reports that Kanye West and
his wife Bianca are splitting blond.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
I don't know. Here's a dream, but very reasonable.

Speaker 12 (25:52):
Apparently his people are saying no, that they're still together,
that they're celebrating Valentine's Day together today. So I don't
know if that's true, but I'll keep it posted on that.
There is so much to watch and go see this weekend.
First of all, Captain America, Brave New World, that's in
your theaters. Paddington in Peru, that's in your theaters if
you want.

Speaker 7 (26:11):
To see that.

Speaker 12 (26:13):
So there's the All Stars Celebrity Game on tonight. You've
got SNL fifty, The Homecoming concert tonight.

Speaker 1 (26:19):

Speaker 1 (27:26):

That's the only thing I want to watch, so crazy.

Speaker 7 (27:31):
There's a lot of good stuff.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Thank you, Danielle.

Speaker 11 (27:33):
Why are you doing crack?

Speaker 1 (27:45):
A bunch of white boys singing whipping Yes, get away
from me?

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Went ahead?

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Oh my god. They used to come out with flower
pots on their heads around like a little another reason
to be on Peacock Live tonight, fifty years of that,
my god, Oh my god, Yeah, that was a even diamond?

(28:34):
Was she appreciated our performance? Did you like that you
didn't play some more Divo for you?

Speaker 11 (28:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (28:39):
I love this. Who was going to be there? Elvis?

Speaker 7 (28:41):
Is that first word?

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Share is going to be on? Oh my god? Yeah?
I just played you a medley of their hit Oh
good God.

Speaker 8 (28:52):
You know.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
So Gandhi comes up and this says, I want to
do a game for Valentine's Day, but Valentine's music love
music is a boring I said, then do a game
about hate music. Yeah, and so we only could come
up with three songs about hate, right, I.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Hate everything about you f you and I don't f
with you, and then I couldn't think of more. I
know there are more out there off the top of
your head. What are some hate songs? I don't know,
Marilyn Manson.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yes, it's too late to do anything with it.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
But ICP is that in there?

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Well okay, well let's just scratch that bit. Okay, but
you don't you have an entire year to work on
her for next year? Thank god, music that's about hate
on Valentine's Day? No one else is doing that.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
There's a connection left if you want one, Well.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Let's do that. Can we play it real quick? Connection
number thirty five five?

Speaker 14 (29:44):
Maybe?

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Hey? You know who's coming up in about an hour?
Alessia Kara. We love Alessia. Alessia basically, in my opinion,
kind of grew up on this show. Yeh, well no,
she wasn't that young when she started, but she was young.

Speaker 7 (29:55):
Yeah, we haven't seen her in a while.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
I love Alessia. I love her music, I love her spirit.
I love that she's coming in today. How did you
snag that? You know we've been working on this for
a while.

Speaker 13 (30:04):
She was supposed to have this album out last October.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
I think it's out this weekend.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
It's out this weekend.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Okay, so unless your car is coming in and she's performing, Ah,
stop it, wow, get the truck out. Shut the door. Also,
I do believe our friends at NCL they want us
to give you a cruise today. When are we doing that?

Speaker 13 (30:26):
Well, depends on how good they do at that game there, Duran,
we're not playing that game.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Well, then I guess we'll have to figure something else. Okay,
we'll figure something out.

Speaker 10 (30:34):
Hey, it's Nicki Minaa. This is Rihanna. Hey, this is
Lady Gaga.

Speaker 15 (30:40):
You're listening to the Elvis Durant and the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Freshen up your morning with Wendy's breakfast, like a breakfast
baconator or a grilled sausage breakfast burrito, or even a
honey buddy ready for a fresh wake up call. It's
got to be Wendy's at participating us.

Speaker 10 (30:54):
Wendy's Elvis Terran in the morning.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Happening.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
What is this song? It sounds familiar? And then what
is the song?

Speaker 7 (31:33):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Hold on?

Speaker 1 (31:43):
What are we holding for? What it sounds like a
familiar song? Let's fall out?

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Enough off, here we go.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Joshua knows, don't worry about it. You want to, Okay,
play it in your head? Pump here yet?

Speaker 11 (32:00):
Wild?

Speaker 16 (32:03):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (32:04):
I can't speaking in the microphone. Your micro'son on your
brown an brown you something like shaggy. I don't know.
You know, there's a big event happening in Philly today.

Speaker 19 (32:27):
There it is.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
They're gonna rip that city of shreds and rightfully so well, look,
you know we all need reasons to celebrate. As I
always say, they have a massive reason to celebrate. In Philly.
We're so proud, so cool, and it's I bet we'll
feel it here in New York. They're gonna come up
here to steal our light post? Has anyone seen the

(32:53):
Chrysler building? The guys, the guys from Philly took a
train up and stole it.

Speaker 7 (32:58):
The Empire State Building is missing, it's gone.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
What does one do with a light post? Once you've
taken it down? Then what do you do? I don't know,
Just throw it around to put.

Speaker 12 (33:05):
In your backyard. Maybe you can't fit in your house
right unless you have high ceilings, you know what.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
I hope they have the best day. There's gonna be
some drinking, there's gonna be They're gonna tell some dirty jokes.
They're gonna have Anny day, They're gonna build a fire.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
You know.

Speaker 7 (33:18):
I used to have old friends.

Speaker 12 (33:21):
I used to have a friend that would steal street
signs and they had them all in their backyard. They
had maybe fifty street signs in their backyard on display
that they would go around taking off of poles.

Speaker 7 (33:34):
Okay, and that was their thing.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Just sounds kind of taggic, it is, But yeah, are
you still friends with them?

Speaker 11 (33:39):
No?

Speaker 7 (33:40):
I haven't seen them in a long time.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
What's that, froggy. It's also very dangerous. If you still
stop sign you can kill somebody.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (33:45):
It wasn't stop signs. It was more like names of
streets and stuff.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
What street are on?

Speaker 19 (33:49):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
The boxers have all the side exactly. There's just a connection.
It's kind of funny. I figured it out. No, no, no, no,
And it's funny. I didn't recognize the last song, which
is the most obvious. All right, let's see who's got

(34:12):
it in the connections. I think this is my nineteen
Hello Taylor, how you doing doing all right now? Going
through the life, going through your life with the name Taylor?
Is that cumbersome? Sometimes?

Speaker 6 (34:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Well, well, we think of you as our friend Taylor
from Bristol, Connecticut, not related to the other Taylor. You're
our number one Taylor, You're the only one we really
know as a friend. So in those connections, in the
connection between those four pieces of sound, what is the answer.

Speaker 14 (34:40):
So I'm thinking they either produce their own songs for themselves.

Speaker 4 (34:44):
Or other people producers.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Oh well, that's the answer you're looking for. No, no,
that's not it is not.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Okay, I'm sorry, Yes, so I don't.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Yeah, I wonder if that if it's true, there's not,
there's not the answer you're looking for. All Right, we
love you, Taylor. I hope you have the best weekend ever.
Promise me you will.

Speaker 19 (35:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
I will, all right, take care. Devin from Tampa. How
you doing, Devon? Hello?

Speaker 3 (35:13):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (35:13):
You know we used to be on in Tampa for
like a month. Our show was on. Yeah, now we're not.
They took us off because the general manager's wife didn't
like the fact I was talking about putting pencils on
my butt. Oh you guys Ieart Well, thank you, Devin,
thank you. Okay, So Devin, these four songs, these four
pieces of sound, have something in common.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Because no, no, no, no, no, no vote.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
All right, what do they have in common?

Speaker 13 (35:53):
I'm pretty sure they all feature Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
That's right. There you go, you got them.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
Yeah, Sea with the Greatest, then Taylor Swift with Glad
Blood Maroon five don't want to know. I think it's
something like that, and then Scissa.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Yeah all the Start is the one I messed up. Hey,
look definitely, Devin, you got it job. Did you enjoy
the halftime show?

Speaker 14 (36:18):
Yeah, definitely, definitely.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
I love the bellow bottom.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Yeah, I know, I know those are women's size twenty nine.
I wish I could fit into those, but I can't. Hey,
what do you have for a friend, Devin? You know
what today is, Devin Valentine's Day. Oh yeah, I'm okay,
Thank you, Devin. Do you have somebody to share it with?

Speaker 14 (36:37):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (36:38):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Well good, because you're not gonna have to pay a
penny for them. We're sending you on a cruise.

Speaker 11 (36:46):

Speaker 1 (36:51):

I feel like we all take advantage of it because
it's kind of close to us and we're like, oh,
it's right here. The Caribbean has some of the most
beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my life. And I
do travel a lot, and you go to other places
and you think, oh, this is really nice, and then
I'm like, oh, that's right right near us too, the Caribbean.

Daniel says, unless your cars come in here, here's some tiktaks.
So she puts them in tiktaks in my hand. I'll
just do it in my mouth, not counting. I'd like
ten tiktoks in my mouth right now. I'm showing up
on some sort of scale. Somewhere. Some science project is

Thank you very much. I hope you have a great

Speaker 6 (47:49):

Speaker 17 (47:53):

Speaker 1 (47:54):

Speaker 14 (47:55):

(48:39):
You got to talk out loud.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
Yes, well, you were reading my thoughts.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
I thought I was doing a good job with the
telepathy there for a second. People listening need to hear
your voice. She's got all right, she's on her way.
Did they give you a taste of her new song?

Speaker 15 (48:51):
No?

Speaker 1 (48:52):
Where is it?

Lessa first started visiting our show when she was around
eighteen years old. Yeah, yep, even though not toddler status
was it was ten years ago.

Speaker 15 (49:45):
Yeah, I can't believe it. I can't believe it's been
this long. And thanks for having me back.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Well, thanks for being had I guess, but no proble
you And as Gandhi asked, Daniel, you're one of my
all time favorite guests because you're just so re and
your light is bright and you can sing too. There's
there's artist try as well.

Speaker 7 (50:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (50:06):
So obviously we're celebrating Valentine's Day with your new album
Love and hyper Hyperbole.

Speaker 7 (50:13):
Yeah, it's a tough one, she says.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Say hyper Bowl, I convince the house for now.

Speaker 15 (50:18):
So many people say, hyper Bowl, it's funny this album.

Speaker 1 (50:21):
I thought this album was coming out months ago, so
did I.

Speaker 7 (50:27):
No, no, no, it was it was my choice. It
was my choice. Okay, sorry, what were you gonna say?

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Well, what happened.

Speaker 15 (50:32):
What happened is that I just wanted to kind of
just like I realized it was going a little fast,
and I wanted to just let these songs breathe a
little bit because I've been sitting on this music for
about three years now, So I just felt like I
didn't want to go onto the next thing and go
into the next thing in order to just rush the album.
Like even though I was excited, I was like, if
I waited three years, maybe let me just push it
to the new year. Give these songs like a chance

(50:54):
to breathe before I just like pump out stuff just
so they just have their own little moment and I
can like take my time. So that's why we pushed it.
But it actually fell perfectly because you know it's called
love and Hyperbole. It falls on Valentine's Day.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
How many tracks fourteen and it's.

Speaker 15 (51:09):
Fourteenth of February, so time.

Speaker 10 (51:12):
Saren dip it is.

Speaker 1 (51:14):
You see a lot of people are in traffic going
to work right now, to work for an accounting agency
or sales department somewhere, and they have quotas. To me,
they have deadlines. To me, the great thing about being
an artist obviously you've hooked up with a company that's like,
she's an artist. Maybe we wanted an album in October,
but she needs to let it breathe, she needs to
work with it and sit with it for a while. Okay,

(51:36):
let's let her do that. And Aren'tie happy that? They
were like, cool, Okay, do what you want to do.

Speaker 7 (51:41):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 15 (51:42):
I think they were also probably happy about it too.
Everybody likes to have more time, right like, just to
like get things sorted, you know. So it was good
I think for everybody just to like figure things out
and to just, I don't know, just like have people
sit with it. I think we rushed things too much,
like you know, especially in pop music, it's very like okay, next, next, next,
and this music that you take years to work on
just like goes so fast, and I don't know, I

(52:04):
just I like for it to just have a little
bit of time to float around before we move on
to the next.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Did you did you change anything about it in those
months or did you just sit with it?

Speaker 8 (52:13):
No?

Speaker 7 (52:13):
No, I just sat with it.

Speaker 15 (52:14):
I just yeah, I just had stared at it from
across the road. Yeah, yeah, stared at it on my phone,
just waiting for it to come up. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:21):
And you know, there's a lot of love. There's a
lot of love, love tracks, love thoughts and love lyrics.

Speaker 7 (52:28):
Wait, is it from real life love?

Speaker 15 (52:31):
Yes, But also a bunch of different facets of love.
There's of course a little bit of romantic love in there,
but yeah, fight, hatred, divorce, yeah, divorce trial, no, there.
You know, there's like familial love, friendship, love even like
I talk a lot about self love and just like
looking at life in a different way too.

Speaker 7 (52:49):
I think, you know, it's kind of a bit of everything,
all the facets of love.

Speaker 10 (52:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:53):
And hyperbole and hyperbole.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
Yeah, hyperbole, hyper you know, uh, your music. It's funny
interesting anyway how an artist's music evolves with them. If
you're true to your heart and honest and out there artist,
not afraid to show your emotions this and that. So
if this album Love and Hyperbole is actually talking about

(53:18):
you and your life. Is it in the past, is
it current? Is it in the future? Is it When
you hear these songs, you're thinking, oh, that was a
great song then when I wrote it and saying it.
But now I'm off to a whole differ different life,
Like where are you with this album? Same lane?

Speaker 15 (53:33):
I think, honestly, like the first I tried to make
this album as chronological as possible, and so it starts
off a little bit sadder, you know, and it's it's
kind of about my journey, for lack of a better word,
through just like a hard time and learning to find
joy and learning to reshape pain in different ways. So
I think that's, you know, thankfully I'm at, you know,

(53:54):
the second half of the album, I think now where
I've learned a lot and I feel a lot happier
than I was when I first started. So some of
those songs on the early side of the track list
I kind of can look back on with a different view.
But also like it's interesting how things kind of pop
back up into your life and develop new meanings, Like
I have songs that I listen back to now that
means something totally different.

Speaker 1 (54:15):
Give me an example, like give me the song example
you're thinking of.

Speaker 15 (54:18):
Right now, I'm thinking of, honestly, a song called Subside,
which is about not to get too dark, but like anticipatory.
Is is that a word anticipatory grief? You know, because
I tend to be a person who like grieves moments
and things before they happen, and so a lot of
my grief in my life has been anticipatory. But now
I'm experiencing since you know, I wrote that song real
life grief from someone who passed away, you know, very

(54:39):
close to me. And so I listened back to that
song now with a totally new view, you know, because
I've experienced the other side of grief in a really
serious way. So it's interesting how these songs ring true
in different ways. Not to get dark, Sorry, no, good
morning everyone.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
So I'm just saying that tracks one through seven are dark.
Tricks through fourteen or I started track eight.

Speaker 15 (55:04):
I know I have so many downers, right, I'm the most.
I'm the most, the biggest downer of all.

Speaker 3 (55:08):
You're not.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
Happy, No, not all.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
I have red shoes on. I got red shoes on.

Speaker 7 (55:19):
Your shoes aren't they so cool?

Speaker 15 (55:22):
They're like a weird shape, They're like weird asymmetrical bottoms.

Speaker 7 (55:25):
Yeah, they're cool.

Speaker 15 (55:26):
So that's in honor of the album.

Speaker 7 (55:28):
And are you going on a global world tour or something?
I am so exciting.

Speaker 1 (55:33):
Yes, it's in my notes.

Speaker 7 (55:35):
Go ahead, it's in your notes. Yeah, I just announced
it yesterday.

Speaker 15 (55:38):
We're going all over the place. We're going to Europe,
North America, Australia, Asia, so many places I've I've never
been before, and so many places I've never performed.

Speaker 7 (55:47):
So I'm really excited. It's going to be really cool.
I'm going to be exhausted, great boots around the world.

Speaker 10 (55:52):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (55:53):
Do you even get time though when you're on this tour?
You go to these places you've never been to explore
and have some time to yourself.

Speaker 15 (55:59):
It depends if I have an off day in that city.
If it falls in the right way, then yes, If not, not,
Usually go on a show day. You can't really go
too many places because you're doing promo or warm ups.
You can't really like, I don't really talk to preserve
my voice, so I can't really do much.

Speaker 7 (56:14):
But off days are the best. I love.

Speaker 12 (56:15):
Can't you say to them, Okay, we're going here, I've
never been. I really want to see it. Can you
please slot in some time for me to go and
you know explore.

Speaker 15 (56:24):
I mean you can, but when you're routing a tour,
it's tough because you've got to make sure that venue
is available. So you have to route it in a
way that the dates fit. I can't just be like
I'm gonna be off for three days here and then
the next city, but that next city might be booked,
like another band might be playing there, you know, So
it's you have, like, it's really hard to route a tour,
and I know so many fans.

Speaker 7 (56:41):
Are so upset. They're like, you're not coming to my city.

Speaker 15 (56:43):
But it's so hard to route everything and there's so
many factors that go into it that you know are
so out of your control. So I'm gonna try to
go to more places though, don't hold me to that,
but I'm trying.

Speaker 7 (56:52):
I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Unless your Karra is here. The album it's out today.
I'm looking at Jonas Brothers notes they're they're putting up
in an hour. You're celebrating your twentieth anniversary of the
Jonas Brothers. I am actually, yes, we put these over here.

Speaker 15 (57:08):
I am celebrating the Hyer purply I can't say the
stupid word hyper bowl, hyper bowl.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
It's out today, it is and uh, your Max is
here performing with you?

Speaker 7 (57:22):
Max is here?

Speaker 15 (57:22):
You meet Yeah, I just saw him.

Speaker 7 (57:25):
He just got a guitar.

Speaker 8 (57:27):
Max.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
Max has two microphones. Hello.

Speaker 4 (57:29):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (57:30):
We're always in awe of artists that come in here
and can make it happen at this hour and sound
as great as you always do. Pressure.

Speaker 15 (57:40):
We'll see I was gonna say, I haven't done it yet.

Speaker 1 (57:43):
We'll see have we had someone and go? Let me
start over? Yea, I know Chris Martin.

Speaker 15 (57:48):
Chris Martin always does that.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
He loves he loves to start over.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
But I love that. I think he plans those you
think he's like, let me give it a moment, a
fake crack of the voice to go, oh sorry, I'm
a human.

Speaker 15 (58:01):
I love him because he's he's so talented and crazy.
He just is like from the stars. He has to
remind people that he's a person sometimes.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
Just forget maybe he's an alien.

Speaker 15 (58:10):
I don't think he is going to say.

Speaker 1 (58:11):
John Billion, John Billion started to go, he did, that's right.
I love him. He's amazing.

Speaker 7 (58:16):
But I might start a couple of times out just because.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
If you could act more human. That would be a plus. Okay,
but you always sound awesome. You want to do you
want to try.

Speaker 15 (58:26):
This, whatever you guys want to do.

Speaker 1 (58:27):
I don't know how whatever, Okay, then screw it. Let's
just sit here.

Speaker 2 (58:30):
I don't favorite voices. I love your voice so much.

Speaker 15 (58:34):
Thank you so much. It's a little gone right now,
so let us.

Speaker 1 (58:37):
Pray you're one of those. You're like my mom and
no dinner said, this is going to be the most
god awful dinner. It was always great.

Speaker 11 (58:42):
You do that.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
You always say my voice is no, but it just
always sounds awesome. You're an angel, they did.

Speaker 7 (58:49):
You are one of our favorite co hosts. Like when
you took over the show that day, that was so fun.

Speaker 15 (58:53):
I have this like secret dream of doing like having
a radio show since I was a kid, and so
that really fulfilled my my shelter dreams. Anytime you guys
need seriously, like in five minutes, okay, I will literally
be here. This is I would rather be doing this, honestly.

Speaker 10 (59:08):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (59:09):
My ass running out that door. Let's get cars on.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
I gotta get We should do a job flop. You
can host the show one day and we can do
a day on your tour.

Speaker 19 (59:15):
Yes, we love that.

Speaker 15 (59:16):
That would be you guys.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
That's called refunding ticket. All right, so you do fire?

Speaker 15 (59:23):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
So I'm not gonna ask you what it's about. I'm
gonna let the words tell me.

Speaker 15 (59:27):
Okay, and then I want to ask you what you think. God,
I mean, it's very, it's very. It's an obvious one.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
It's not like you know, well, I'm hit a little slow.

Speaker 7 (59:35):
No, no, no, I think you get it.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
Okay, scary you gonna push the buttons on. So with Max,
with Max from Love and Hyperbole, which is out today.
This is fire, you know.

Speaker 17 (01:00:00):
Now?

Speaker 15 (01:00:01):
Thank you?

Speaker 10 (01:00:02):
Damn thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
You're on fire. I'm on fire. Yes, yes, yes, Max
sounds awesome. Back there, there was a moment scary as
on the mix he didn't have your mic up loud enough.
Okay Unlessia open her eyes and looked over like, where's
my ma?

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
You with a bad voice? Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 7 (01:00:23):
It's like I'm holding on fire.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
That was dreadful. You're crying. I'm not the only one
you Wow.

Speaker 7 (01:00:35):
Wow, Nate na on fire.

Speaker 15 (01:00:39):
I actually wrote that about having Jalopeno pizza.

Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
After I've never seen express emotion ever that's so sweet.

Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
You did all the people in their car right now?

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Quiet the text say her voice is so beautiful, Maxim
great the guitar. Is this about break ups? They're asking, No,
it's actually quite the opposite the second half of the
album that happens just jumping in.

Speaker 15 (01:01:09):
Yes, exactly. It's about being like reignited, feeling color again
and feeling you know, like you're being expanded.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
By That's what I got from it. Yeah, I love
fire fire. You know, you can look at all the elements,
but fire, to me is my favorite.

Speaker 19 (01:01:23):
Do you have?

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Are you a water girl, a fire girl?

Speaker 13 (01:01:25):
What are you?

Speaker 15 (01:01:26):
I feel like I'm a water I mean I'm a
water sign and I'm definitely I think I feel like
more water and more like sensitive.

Speaker 7 (01:01:32):
Go with the flow right a little bit? Yeah, I'm
like fire.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
All three of us we have the three fire signs.

Speaker 7 (01:01:38):
Yeah, wait, what are all your signs?

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
I ask you, guys this story, No, a Leo Elvis
is Leo Leo Danielle's aries and I'm a Sagittarius.

Speaker 7 (01:01:47):
I actually I'm not just saying this.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Can see that for all the Yeah, okay, okay, I
have to call partial bs on that. Ileo someone who's go,
what's your sign of I'm a Leo? And they'll go,
oh god, oh what do you mean? Oh god, Oh
what does that mean?

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
Oh god?

Speaker 10 (01:02:06):
Oh?

Speaker 15 (01:02:07):
Because well there's like a there's like a you know,
every sign has like a negative connotation.

Speaker 7 (01:02:10):
I'm a cancer.

Speaker 15 (01:02:11):
They say cancers are like moody and emotional and like oversensitive,
and they say that Leo's are like a little bits
a little cocky. Well, but I think that's a beautiful
thing to be, you know, to be confident in yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
You know that only one I do definitely see right there, geminis. Geminis.

Speaker 15 (01:02:32):
Yeah, my brother's a Gemini nuts right yeah, yeah, nuts and.

Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
A married one. Yeah really, so who's the.

Speaker 15 (01:02:38):
Nuts do you want?

Speaker 7 (01:02:41):
Do you believe certain sign shouldn't date other signs?

Speaker 15 (01:02:44):
Not necessarily, because I do think First of all, I
think there's like you know, there's a whole birth chart,
so there's like all kinds of different signs within one person.
But I also think like there's personality there that's separate
from your side. Like I think people can still very
much get along if there's signs don't necessarily like I'm
not that heavy into it, but I do feel like
there's so much truth to it because everybody I meet
really matches their sign, Like I feel like you'res not

(01:03:05):
that you're not cocky at all. And I don't think
wheels are cocky. I think that they're confident and expressive.

Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
And I love you and I think we should please
we should play Family for you with a Lessia car.

Speaker 15 (01:03:14):
Yes, I went on that show, Oh My Family, and
it was crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:03:18):
We won.

Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
What you and your family were on Family for You.

Speaker 15 (01:03:21):
We're on Family Feed Canada, so a little different.

Speaker 19 (01:03:26):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
Is that a thing? By the way, are you excited
about becoming the new state in the United States?

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
Oh my god, I'm so excited to join you guys. Yes,
it's a great time. Yes, great time to jump in exactly.

Speaker 19 (01:03:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (01:03:37):
I'm not even going to say anything back because now
I'm one, I'm one of you guys. I'm just going
to be excited to be here. Thank you for having
the possibilities.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
The possibilities are less now we will own the world
all the way up to Alaska.

Speaker 11 (01:03:47):
Yeah I know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
Okay, So there's that world tour. Is the info all out?
Are the venues booked?

Speaker 15 (01:03:55):
The venues are booked? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think some
of them aren't announced yet.

Speaker 7 (01:03:59):
Okay, for whatever reason.

Speaker 15 (01:04:01):
I don't know the logistics behind these things, but I
believe they're all booked unless they show up and there's
no venue.

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
See.

Speaker 1 (01:04:06):
I would rather than seeing you in Boston, I would
like to go to Warsaw, Poland Diseason.

Speaker 15 (01:04:10):
Yes, oh my god, I was thinking that, like how
cool is those cities are just the coolest because it's
just like, what is that place?

Speaker 7 (01:04:16):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
What's your favorite foreign city?

Speaker 7 (01:04:18):
My favorite?

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
Four the one that really moved you, maybe to tears,
maybe to giggling. What's something Argentine?

Speaker 15 (01:04:24):
I went to Argentina in twenty twenty two. Yes, oh yeah,
because it's not a city that's beautiful, dum no. Buenos
Aires is amazing And I played a show there like
a festival and it was the best show I've ever played.
The crowds like energy was it brought us all to tears.
My whole band, everybody was crying.

Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
I can't really explain it. No, all the time, and
which is the energy of the spot? I'm I'm I've
become a huge Vienna fan. I love it.

Speaker 15 (01:04:51):
I love Vienna too light. Yeah, and it waits for you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:56):

Speaker 14 (01:06:23):
Every day on my track work, I try to listen

name an instrument people play sitting. Wait, who's that? That's
not Steve Harvey.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
No, that's Jerry D.

Speaker 15 (01:07:12):

Name the worst day of the week.

Speaker 10 (01:07:31):
For traffic on Monday.

Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
Name something in the bathroom that fills with water.

Speaker 19 (01:07:39):

Speaker 1 (01:07:40):
Those Canadian questions are so easy, They're so easy.

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
I thought guitar for the worst one because I saw
maximin down.

Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
This is why when in Canada so relaxed, because on
family few they give him easy questions.

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
Please you up somehow.

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
Here's here's the thing. We're all we know, we're all
brilliant arms. But under the spotlight your the IQ level
goes down. It's like going to.

Speaker 7 (01:08:01):
I was on the weakest link and I got voted

the weakest link.

Wait, did the ladies say that to you?

Speaker 7 (01:08:09):
Yeah she did, And it was because it's so hot
under those lights and you're so nervous. Of course I
forgot everything.

Speaker 15 (01:08:16):
Of course, yeah, I forgot how to speak. I feel

a charity.

Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
Why are you grabbing things in my hands? Just stay
stay out of my lane. You know it was I
was here a long time before you got here. Why
why are you just grabbing crap out of me?

Speaker 13 (01:13:06):
I didn't know if you were just reading what I
put there because it's for something else.

Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
No, he reminded me about how much fun we had
a Universal Remember that day we had a fun time
together when you were grabbing the crap out of my head.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):

Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Oh that only sounds like a bird.

Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
Hey, what are you doing?

Speaker 11 (01:13:32):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
Can I do it around the room and tree?

Speaker 19 (01:13:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:13:35):
Okay, okay, where's the music. Let's go around the room.
May I just say I just love shows like today.
It was a great show. Yeah. I love being with
my family. We had great food in here. Abby brought
us some treats. I got a nice gift, and you
guys are giving each other chocolates and right about to
go catch ships and we're gonna take you to the Caribbean.

(01:13:56):
Everyone's in a great move. Froggies looks like he's ready
to get the hell out of here. We're all ready
to get the hell out of here. And then Unlessia
Carr comes in. What a great guest, so moving, so
that straight eight starts crying over there and so moved
by her performance. It's just a day. You know, Scary's
back here. I don't know what he's doing, but he's
doing something.

Speaker 19 (01:14:15):
You know, I do what I do?

Speaker 16 (01:14:16):
You do?

Speaker 8 (01:14:17):
Do do?

Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
It's just great. You know, some days are easier to
tolerate than others with whatever we do. But I just
you know, you know, I love you guys very much.
It's been a great week from Orlando to here. It's
been a great week even with Nate. Let me pay
per cut you ah, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 6 (01:14:37):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
I first of all, Happy Valentine's Day to all of
you guys.

Speaker 6 (01:14:40):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
It doesn't have to just be for romantic love. It
could be for regular love. And I love you guys,
so Happy Valentine's Day. But I am so excited to
go on our ship today. I'm setting sail from Miami.
It's actually gonna happen tomorrow morning, and I get to
go on on the Bliss from Norwegian, which I know
we're the godparents of, and I've never actually sailed on
her before, so I'm so I'm so stoked. I'm doing Mexico, Belize, Honduras,

(01:15:03):
and I've never been to two of those places, so
I'm also excited to do something I've never done before.
Shout out to the Caribbean and Ncil. I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
Well, so you're gonna hop on board our Bliss with
the Godparents tomorrow and maybe in the middle of night,
two ships will pass the night. You may pass Norwegian Viva,
where our Scottie b will be going to the Caribbean
as well.

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
Yes, he sent me his itinerary to see if we're
gonna meet up at any point, right, I don't think
we will.

Speaker 1 (01:15:27):
There'll just be two ships that passed the night. Remember Bliss.
Froggy was the first to step foot on Bliss and
she wasn't even done. You went to the Germany's where
she was built, right I did.

Speaker 18 (01:15:37):
I went to Germany Pappenberg in Germany and saw it
being built, and then I watched the float out like
I That ship is truly amazing to have seen it
from start all the way to finish.

Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Well again, NCL dot com, head on over there. It's
all about well all of their incredible destinations. Right now,
we're focusing on the Caribbean and the Bahamas, so check
it out in CL dot com. All right, what's on
your mind today? Frog? I'll tell you.

Speaker 8 (01:16:01):
So.

Speaker 18 (01:16:02):
You know, the flu's going around everywhere, but also here
in North Florida we've had fake spring for the last
like fourteen days, where it's been in the upper seventies,
lower eighties and now there is pollen everywhere and everybody's
walking around already, and yes, oh my god, everything outside
is yellow. When you look at like when you're driving

(01:16:22):
your car and you look across the hood, it's all yellow.
Everything is yellow. It's everywhere, and everybody's sneezing and hacking.
So it's chances of arts, allergies could be something else.
But uh yeah, so make sure you take your allergy
post because there is pollen everywhere.

Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
Here we go. Thank you for the warning. Uh scary,
what's up?

Speaker 23 (01:16:38):
I would like to turn all of you on to
an unused and underrated thing feature of our iPhones, you know,
the yellow Notes app.

Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Do you do that all the time?

Speaker 8 (01:16:48):
You know?

Speaker 23 (01:16:48):
You could share the notes and with friends and basically
do like a group notes where you all add stuff
and take away stuff in real time.

Speaker 1 (01:16:56):
Yeah, because I's awesome, right.

Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
It's a great thing.

Speaker 23 (01:16:58):
And I just discovered it, you know, with our ops
manager Andy Andrew wn of course Abby in the back.
We made a Forgotten Bangers folder where we just keep
adding songs that like, oh remember that one, remember that one,
and we have a nice little list going. But you
do it all in real time, so make sure you
use make sure you do a shared note with friends
in case you haven't done that. I'm just saying, I
know I'm waiting to the party.

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
No no notes is great. It does a lot of stuff.
Get to know your notes this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
People are kids cheating in school nowadays?

Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
Yes I still cheat. It is how you doing? Their
producer Sam.

Speaker 16 (01:17:30):
I'm super I'm actually really psyched that it's Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
I've always loved this holiday.

Speaker 16 (01:17:35):
And I'm lucky because I grew up feeling like it
was a family holiday and my parents did that. Yeah,
so it's never really like I'm going out with my
husband tonight. Sure it'll be great, but it was never
really just like a romantic holiday for me. So if
you have a family, or even if you don't, start
celebrating with friends. I ask my friend Kate to be
my Valentine every year since high school and she is
my number one, my husband's number two, sorry, buddy.

Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
And it's just a great holiday for love.

Speaker 16 (01:17:58):
So if you're at a gloveplace about it, you know,
maybe try and start turning the ship and turn it
on the all the love you do have in your life.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
It's it's a fantastic Damen.

Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Yeah. My dad always to bring those cheap heart shaped
candy boxes home so cute.

Speaker 12 (01:18:11):
Every My dad would drive all the way to my
house to drop it off, even when I was an adult.

Speaker 10 (01:18:15):
Oh the love.

Speaker 7 (01:18:16):
You take an hour drive just to drop off the candy.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
I know, Daniel. What's your favorite? What's your favorite filling
in the candy box?

Speaker 8 (01:18:24):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (01:18:24):
My gosh, the caramel?

Speaker 4 (01:18:25):
Caramel?

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
What about you, Sam?

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Caramel if there's flaky salt on top?

Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
What about you? Gandhi nuts? Nuts?

Speaker 3 (01:18:31):
You love the nuts?

Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
What about you, Froggy? Oh it's got to be Carol.

Speaker 3 (01:18:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:18:36):
I love the pink one.

Speaker 7 (01:18:37):
Oh yeah, looks like a strawberry.

Speaker 4 (01:18:39):
Strawberry.

Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
Yeah, shut up, Froggy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
That's what I always get mad about it. I bite it,
I get mad. I'm like, pit, what was that?

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
I'll have the second half of your painker. You know
what I'm saying. I've never been more surprised to hear
you say something. I love the pink one. Stop it, Nate,
what's going on? Great vacation idea? I just came up
with it.

Speaker 13 (01:18:56):
I'm going to take credit for it. Uh, if you
want to go somewhere planted around going to see an
artist that you love. Unlessia Carr is going to be
in Europe. This plan a trip. Go to Europe, go
see her show, Go see your favorite artist. They're on
tour around the world. You see the world with them.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
Great cool. I just came up with that. You're welcome
the world tour. It's a great idea.

Speaker 7 (01:19:17):
Sometimes it's cheaper too, Yeah, that's right. With the Taylor
Swift it was it's cheaper to go to Europe to
see her.

Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
The originator of the take a trip to see her
all me, it's all. It's all names.

Speaker 10 (01:19:27):
Elvis Duran who three things? One hope is when maybe
you'll calm down a little and the Morning Show, go
Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (01:19:40):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
The Jones brothers will be joining us in a moment
with a big, huge announcement. You know they've been together
for twenty years.

Speaker 2 (01:19:46):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:19:47):
Talk about that. Let's talk about another twenty is what
I'm hoping for. The old Jonas boys naming the group anyway,
We're gonna talk to them coming up next. Let's get
some sound over here. On New Music Friday, Garrett, What's yes?

Speaker 21 (01:19:59):
So Drake dropped an album and everyone's talking about it
and this is one with Party next Door. Somebody loves
Me said, they.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
Don't pay well the follow in love.

Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
I need to start of something lining up, don't you
find enough?

Speaker 21 (01:20:13):
Oh yeah, all right, there you go. Uh see I
dropped this. It's called Salisbury Hill.

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
I did not believe. I just had to trust imagine.

Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Or boom boom. That sounds really good.

Speaker 21 (01:20:33):
Yeah all right, So remember Miles Smith has nice to
meet you, right, so he tapped Lady Wilson to do
the remix with him, and this is what it sounds like.

Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
Song is astray.

Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
She said, Hi, nice to meet you to right.

Speaker 11 (01:20:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
Yeah, some good music today.

Speaker 21 (01:21:00):
All right, let's stick out a little country too. So
Sabrina Carpenter released her deluxe album last night, a few
new songs including Please Please Please, featuring Dolly parton.

Speaker 6 (01:21:10):
Oh Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
Wow, there you go.

Speaker 21 (01:21:24):
And by the way, Dolly does not curse in this song.
She changed the lyrics Okay, good, thank you Dolly. And
then finally, this is super interesting. So Vichy played a
Beitha back in twenty sixteen, and he played the song
Forever Yours and they remastered it and just released it
last night.

Speaker 4 (01:21:42):
We think.

Speaker 10 (01:21:44):
Telling me out.

Speaker 1 (01:21:52):
A VICI if you haven't seen that documentary. By the way,
you gotta very good. You're a good American here you
very much? All right, I tell you what. As a
little bonus before we get out of here, enjoy the
parade in Philly today. That's here for the Eagle. Jonas

(01:22:15):

Live from the Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.

Speaker 1 (01:23:05):
Let's get the truth about this event from the Jonas Brothers. Hi,
Jonah's brothers, Welcome.

Speaker 10 (01:23:09):
To the show.

Speaker 20 (01:23:10):
Hey everyone, good morning brother.

Speaker 1 (01:23:14):
We made the big announcement for Jonas Khan. And can
we just start out on a negative?

Speaker 24 (01:23:19):
Oh?

Speaker 20 (01:23:19):
Please, we like to start negative?

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
God go ahead.

Speaker 10 (01:23:22):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:23:23):
I always wonder why do we go with Kahn at
the end instead of fest because when I hear Con,
I think, oh, what are they scamming me out of?

Speaker 20 (01:23:30):
Now I hear you, well, it's a villain event.

Speaker 19 (01:23:33):
So it's.

Speaker 20 (01:23:35):
We're going to be dressed as our favorite Jonas villains.

Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Yes, okay, makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
All right, I'm glad we got that cleared up. Okay,
let me just get to the headline. Jonas Khan taking
place and of course Jonah's brother's home state, New Jersey
at American Dream and our favorite place, our favorite place
that Sunday, March twenty third. Now I want to talk
about everything going on at Jonas Kahn at American Dream,
but there's also a lot of stuff going on in
New York City the day before, and say Saturday, we

(01:24:01):
don't know any of that is. Is it all secret
stuff or can you tell any of us what that is?

Speaker 9 (01:24:05):
It's all going to be secret stuff, you know. I
think the goal for us was, you know, this is
twenty years of the Van. We really wanted to celebrate,
you know, everything that was in starting in New Jersey
and New York of course, where we really got our
roots going, and then of course where we're headed in
the future.

Speaker 20 (01:24:18):
I think that's what this is all about.

Speaker 9 (01:24:19):
But it's also celebrating our fans and everything that they
mean to us and everything we expect are excited about.

Speaker 20 (01:24:26):
For the future.

Speaker 1 (01:24:27):
I like that because it is a gift to the fans.
But it takes me back to when you guys were
kids piling into the van. Okay sometimes made it to
the venue and now not always sometimes it would make it.
But I also take us back to that concert in Miami.
This is before the pandemic, right, remember that first night

(01:24:49):
you guys were back in the saddle on the stage.
Do you remember the electricity in that arena that night?

Speaker 24 (01:24:56):
Unreal?

Speaker 20 (01:24:57):
To think that it's started in what six years since.

Speaker 1 (01:25:00):
Is insane, And it seems like you haven't stopped at
all in six years.

Speaker 20 (01:25:04):
We've been pretty busy.

Speaker 8 (01:25:05):
I think as grown men in our thirties, we just
physically have to take breaks, but we definitely keep things going.
I mean, we're just wrapping up this Christmas movie here
in Toronto with Disney plus Is.

Speaker 20 (01:25:18):
It's really funny and we have so many great cameos,
and it's been full on.

Speaker 8 (01:25:23):
I think we all three of us have looked at
each other at times and been like, this kind of
hurts my body.

Speaker 20 (01:25:28):
I'm not used to even just hopping off a ledge.

Speaker 12 (01:25:31):
So looking back, like I was telling Elvis before, my gosh,
looking at the pictures that you put on your Instagram.
You guys were so little when you first started, and
I'm like, we were there for all of this. We
were there at all these jingle balls when they were backstage,
and it's just so crazy to see how you guys
have evolved.

Speaker 7 (01:25:49):
Over the years.

Speaker 20 (01:25:50):
It is wild.

Speaker 8 (01:25:51):
And we posted this video a few days ago on
Instagram highlighting the last twenty years, saying thank you to
our fans. We wrote a letter as well, and you
see some of these like moments we kept pausing through
you just you sometimes you forget them and then or
you can never escape them because they're just forever getting
tagged in your photos. Obviously, but even on like moments

(01:26:14):
where it was emotional for us throughout our journey as
a band or as brothers. As cliche and cheesy as
it may sound, but it comes back to our fans
and obviously you guys as well. Yeah, you guys, I
don't know, you guys can't get other jobs because we
keep seeing you so grateful.

Speaker 20 (01:26:33):
And now seeing our fans walk through their lives.

Speaker 8 (01:26:35):
You know, we've we've had people get married, engaged at
our shows, bring their children.

Speaker 20 (01:26:40):
It's just wild experience.

Speaker 2 (01:26:41):
To see over the last twenty years. When you take
a step back and think about it, is there one
thing for each of you that stands out more than
the rest.

Speaker 25 (01:26:51):
I think that, you know, having our families come to
two shows. Yeah, now is a really special thing. This
last tour, specifically starting at Yankee Stadium. I don't want
to give any big secrets away, but at Jonascom we're
making some announcements about the tour this year, which we're

(01:27:12):
incredibly excited about. But anytime we play in the New York,
New Jersey Long Island areas, it's really.

Speaker 24 (01:27:19):
Special for us.

Speaker 25 (01:27:20):
But Yankees was special. There's there's one more place on
our our kind of bucket list of places to play
that perhaps we'll play this year. But you know, I
think when we look out and see not only our fans,
but our family the shows in this kind of chapter
of our life, it's really special.

Speaker 12 (01:27:37):
Over the years, what's the one song that most fans
request you guys to sing over and over again?

Speaker 20 (01:27:44):
Well, that's a loaded question.

Speaker 8 (01:27:46):
There there's a few, I think, you know, there's obviously
the fan favorites like Burning Up in Sos and Year
three thousand, but there's a few that we just have.

Speaker 20 (01:27:57):
Not played in many years. The first song we ever
wrote together a song called Please Be Mine.

Speaker 22 (01:28:00):
We wrote in our living room in White Coffee, Jersey,
and that song kind of helped establish that this was
going to be abandoned and it kind of started the
journey that we went on.

Speaker 20 (01:28:11):
So please your Mind.

Speaker 8 (01:28:12):
We don't play it often, but it's one that kind
of set the tone for what the Jonas Brothers would become.

Speaker 1 (01:28:17):
Well, and look how the music has grown with you
over the years. It's been interesting to watch the evolution
of the music along with the evolution of you and
your families. Back to the question that Gandhi was asking
about those moments that stick out over these twenty years,
what about you Joe and you Kevin, did you think
of something when she asked you that I kind.

Speaker 9 (01:28:35):
Of second Nick's thing about, you know, seeing the families
now at the shows and you know, now the other
day we were here and having Alina are at my
oldest like just come by herself with me to these
concerts and like just like travel with me overnight and
stuff like and just hang out. It's like starting to
become even more of a family affair, and it's just awesome.

Speaker 20 (01:28:54):
Yeah, there's quite a few. I think just to like
name drop because this is quite fun. On we performed
at the White House.

Speaker 24 (01:29:03):
How many years ago?

Speaker 20 (01:29:04):
This is when when Paul McCarty.

Speaker 24 (01:29:06):
Is being honored.

Speaker 8 (01:29:07):
Yes, yeah, here two thousand and there's okay, he's wrong.
So many years ago we performed honoring Paul McCartney was
and President Obama was in office, and we just met
Paul McCartney for the first Sir Palu McCarty for the
first time. The night before he came to our rehearsal

(01:29:30):
and surprised us and we're playing the baby you can
drive my car and we're like.

Speaker 20 (01:29:34):
Pau McCarty comes over our shoulder, like, oh my god.
So we performed for him in a private setting, which
was pretty wild.

Speaker 8 (01:29:40):
So the next day it was like a meet and
greet line and there's everyone from like Jack White, el
was Costello, incredible people.

Speaker 20 (01:29:47):
We all watched President Obama come on on the back
lawn in the helicopter to meet us.

Speaker 8 (01:29:52):
All we're in a line of people saying Hi, there's
Paul McCartney, and I mean we were like shaking pal
McCarty's hand, but my eyes looked over to President Obama
because he just got into office and Paul mcart thing's
own and he goes like, clocks that I'm not looking.

Speaker 20 (01:30:04):
At Paul, and he just says, it's pretty cool, right,
you know what I wonder?

Speaker 1 (01:30:11):
I'm sure we know the answer. I bet Paul McCartney
still gets blown away at moments. You know, we all
do you know, by the way, he's just your joy.
Jonah's Brothers. We're talking about Jonahs Khan, which is at
American Dream here in Jersey, March twenty third. What's happening
that day in American Dream, I mean, what is it
for all of his fans that show up for Jonahs Khan?
What are we seeing? What are we doing?

Speaker 25 (01:30:33):
So we wanted to create the most kind of epic
day for our fans. So there's activations everything from an
Etsy market where they can go and find exclusive merch
to fireside chats with people that are relevant to our journey,
our life. And then there's you know, going to be

(01:30:56):
a setup by us, a talk by us to kind
of walk through what the years will look like, as
well as some other big surprises we can't review.

Speaker 24 (01:31:04):
But for a you know, a Jonas Brothers fan, and
it's going to be the most epic day and.

Speaker 25 (01:31:11):
Our maiden passion is always how do we create moments
to really thank our fans and show them that they
not only have carried us through, you know, this twenty
year journey, which is bizarre to say, but they're the
reasons all happen.

Speaker 24 (01:31:24):
So you want to thank them and just create something
that truly embodies the feeling of family and connection.

Speaker 25 (01:31:31):
And of course we're going to play some music and
it's also completely free, which is something I'm so excited about.

Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
Okay, and of course all the impos at Jonas Brothers
dot Com I'm assuming, yeah, perfect, I ever.

Speaker 25 (01:31:43):
Heard of it?

Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
Yeah, I've been there. I'm there daily, sometimes hourly, you
know me. And by the way, I love that it's
not only about the twenty years that are in the
rear mirror, but also maybe twenty years ahead of us.
I mean, you're already talking about a tour. I've heard
all sorts of rumors about what you guys have coming up,
and I'm excited. And also the collaborations you've had over

(01:32:06):
the years with the incredible artists like I'm going to
play the song with Marshmallow and you guys in a
second slow motion. Thanks you and I just want to
say on behalf of Z one hundred and our morning show,
we're so proud that we've been sort of lined up
with you guys all these years and watching you do
your thing, and it's an incredible show from afar and
of course when we're in the same room with you

(01:32:27):
as well. So congratulations on everything you've done.

Speaker 2 (01:32:29):
Okaye, he's done.

Speaker 1 (01:32:30):
Okay, kids, right back at you.

Speaker 20 (01:32:32):
I love you guys, Thanks for all the support over
the years. And you know, here's to twenty more.

Speaker 1 (01:32:36):
Okay, Well, I'll be looking up at you from below anyway.
It's Jonas Khn of course at American Dream Sunday, March
twenty third, all sorts of things going on the day
before on Saturday March twenty second, everything you need to know,
and it's totally free. Register for free right now at

Speaker 3 (01:32:57):

Speaker 1 (01:32:58):
Congratulations, Yes, Jonas Brothers, Marshmallow, this is slow motion.

Speaker 10 (01:33:04):

the Morning.

Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
Show, I'll kill you.

Speaker 10 (01:33:10):
Tell mister Rand's after party.
