Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Fine Elvis Present fifteen.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Show what we did? What are you talking about? Look
at the look at the mess? We don't know you
first of all, did you see it what I did?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
If you're watching this podcast, we're sitting in front of
this table here.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Hold it up.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
It's on that baskets. But there's all kinds of mess
all over this table.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Were this morning we wound a bunch of animals.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
As you some of us didn't have breakfast, and so
Joe Gatto had brought this nice, you know, gift basket
the other day and Scary goes, Hey, go get the
gift basket. I've never been so excited to open up
a gift basket. We were eating everything. I think I
had a bite of everything.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
It looks like it. It's so good.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
There are more nuts, challenge out on nuts.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
Everybody's fingers wearing those.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
God, all I heard for a solid five minutes was
oh yeah, how the short actual.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
They got cranberries in them. I love a good shot.
Speaker 6 (01:11):
No, I don't want anything.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
That's so scary. It's that time of the year, guys,
and you're you're very vocal about this. What quarter are
you in currently over time? Here's the thing. First of all,
he's got muscles.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
This don't forget the OT.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
It's the OT.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
I'll say this first quarter is when I lose my
thirty pounds on my doctor?
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Do do you always lose thirty pounds every time?
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Every time? Without?
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Without I have a question, how do you always start
out the same weight? Or do you or do you
start out.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
More or less?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Okay, so sometimes I gained back more than thirty by
the end of the year. Once I once I bring
back all the carbs and sugar halfway, you know, uh,
forty five days in, it starts gradually going up. But
here's the problem. During COVID I lost.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
I didn't.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
I didn't gain thirty pounds, I gained more. So I
started getting a little more than thirty.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
So do the math. You started to hire weight every time.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
So my question to you is, instead of doing this
nothing against doctor fact fat loss because he's very nice
and it works, right, is why.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Don't you he's not a doctor during the.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Year, just do things to keep it up because I
know you're exercising, but obviously that's not doing it well.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
This year is the.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
First year I introduced exercise, and I got a personal
trainer twice a week, and I went to the gym
religiously up until about a week and a half two
weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
I had to turn fifty for this anyway, go no.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
So so this year I was told by my trainer, oh,
we well, we had your BMI and all your information
in January versus now you've gained twelve pounds of muscle.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Congratulations, and they'll muscle based more than fat. As you know,
So this.
Speaker 6 (02:54):
Time around a pound, This time around, right when I
go back for my joan, you areadopt the fat laws.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
I'm thinking a pound is a pound, dude.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Think what he's saying is a pound of fat is
bigger than a pound of muscles the actual size of it.
It doesn't weigh more.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, muscle on a scale, muscle weighs more than fat.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I mean of fat is the same as a pound
of muscle. It's a pound pound a pound.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
But muscle weighs more than fat. God, this is like
the joke. It's like what weighs more? Everything weighs the same.
If it's a pound fat, a pound of muscle, but
but fat.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
But there's muscle and fat weigh the same on a scale,
but muscle is denser, it takes up less space than.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Which was how it started this conversation.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Okay, so that's the case. Twelve pounds, so I gained,
so I think it's gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Then did you gain forty two pounds this year? No?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
No, because on the scale, I'm exactly the same as
I was last December.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
See what I'm saying, did you negate those twelve pounds? Though,
still appears.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
And leaner than fat?
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Right which this December versus last December? I have the
same weight the same but I but I have twelve
pounds more of it is of.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
It is muscle, ten pounds is fat.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
Twenty eight less of it less year this time fat
made up for twelve more pounds.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
But wait a minute, it does stay here again that
if you're working out, you might not notice if you
gain a few pounds of muscle, but you might see
a change in your body's appearance and feel better. For example,
you might lose fat and gain muscle, but the scale
might not change. Correct, but you're saying the scale went up.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
No, But no, I go year over year December to
last December. Of this December Okay, you're with me on
this so far.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, I have not lost all the time from.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Last December to this December.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I weigh the same, okay, but because I have twelve
more pounds of muscle, more of it is muscle.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
So well, what's going to happen?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
In fact, right, what's gonna happen is when I go
on the Doctor Fallows program this God willing, if I
lose the thirty you will see the results, as will magically,
if you'll see the results of what.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
I've worked was working on. All of it doesn't stay there.
You lose that though. It doesn't stay. You lose it
over time.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
From scary scary discovering, working out and nutrition and all
that kind of stuff. But it's just funny to hear him.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Just like you think I'm in a better place though
this December than I am last sermon.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
Yeah, my favorite part about it is when you're like
when you're when you're on the Plan, you yell at us,
oh high fructos carri gina, but you're just down like
seven gallons of chocolate milk, Like I don't I don't
get it. Why do you yell at us the rest
of the year.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
It's not only I yell at you guys. I don't.
I just I just I can't have it fromkly that's
how he talks.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
But yeah, but like here we are in December and
there was no breakfast, and I'm.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
Like, shit, has anybody told you got a hole in
your shirt sleeve?
Speaker 1 (06:05):
The brand new shirt?
Speaker 6 (06:06):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (06:07):
No, scary. Your muscles are ripping through like a scary
the shirt shudder of this incredible bulk.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
I congratulates twelve pounds of muscles.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Great, that's awesome. Big, that's big. But anyway, now now
I'm going to stop working I stop working out. It's
all going to ship.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Do you have to.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Stop working out when you're starving yourself?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
When you do the program for doctor Fatlos, Yes, because
the whole gained water and that still doesn't.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I'm sorry, not a doctor, per se, but I mean
it still doesn't. Water weight goes up, you retain water.
You can't work out in a dish.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
You'll pass out because you're not eating.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
The hydrate, and you'll feel hungry.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
And you'll die.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
The whole mask of not feeling hungry is that you
feel full. Okay, yeah kind of makes yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
And its those dexatrim pills in the eighties, I used
to advertise on the price is right.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
There's no drugs or shots on this program. It's the best.
I mean, listen, groof is in the pudding. I mean
the guy does. I mean you lose a ton of weight.
A lot of people up for the needle. Okay, great,
you want to do that, have a party.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
But I am going to do this the natural way, protein,
vegetables and fruit, and I'm not gonna eat any of
this stuff around me.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
I'm gonna get it all out of my system. Now.
So what is the official start date? Oh?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Well, see we have I'm going to be on a cruise.
So jan five, So many butts. Oh, I've got so
many obstacles this year. January fifth is gonna now you
I have to start.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
On jan one. So now I'm gonna be four days behind.
I'm not happy about it.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
You're gonna have your head under the ice cream machine
on the cruise in the buck.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
You know, he's gonna.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Eat everything in sight because he knows that this is last.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
Tising this with Robin, my grandfriend. I said, hey, so
you think I should start it on the cruise on
Jen one, and She looked at me and she started
laughing her ass off. She goes, there's no way you're
going to go on a cruise and start that diet.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
You can kill powers. Insane though it really is because
I know how much you love to eat, and we
continue to eat and you don't touch any of it.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Very impressive, which which is why I don't want to
start it on the cruise, because it's like, if it's
for free, it's for me.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
I mean, but this, this shows you that you do
have the willpower. Of course, so when you're the first
one out there to get the cookies, you you have
more willpower than most of us in this room.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I mean, look at this. This is we got into
the basket. This is a mess. I wish you could
see this. If you're listening to this podcast, you should
watch it today.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
There should be a camera over this area.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
But yeah, I hope Deanna's get the whole shot of
the table. Whatever. What are you guys doing? I think
that's enough enough? Are you going to that shirt? Pounds over?
You're gonna throw out that shirt? Thank you very much?
