Max also loved cricket. He played for Port Adelaide for 14 years, 10 in A grade. He was best known as a cricket umpire, officiating on more than 430 games on over 27 years. This included the famous 1977 Centenary Test Match against England at the MCG. He has also umpired several social and charity matches as a volunteer.

Max is a well-known South Australian and has a passion for sports, particularly football and cricket. He loved the Alberton oval. He played for Port Adelaide and Sturt before becoming an umpire.

He umpired 160 SANFL games and the 1967 Grand Final. He was also a football radio commentator.

Having just celebrated her 90th birthday, Barbara reflects on her life. From being a tomboy as a child to a very talented tennis player, she married and had four children. Having saved and bought a car, she and family did a lot of travelling. She and Craig were married for 62 years. Barbara volunteered with Vision Australia Radio for 25 years. 

Barbara died in October 2018.

In early-adult life Judith became highly involved with the advancement of women's issue, both in Canada and Australia, then had rapid advancement in the Health Bureaucracy with management positions. Highly qualified, she became Professor of Health Care at Flinders University in 2006. No retired, she is busy with writing and research projects.

Don worked with the MTT (tramways), and joined the Air Force during WWII. He transferred to the Royal Air Force in England, and saw 38 missions over Germany, including the dreaded Dresden. He is a strong participant in community affairs and is a Life Member of several organisations.

Now over 100 years old, Bill was a Rat of Tobruk in North Africa and also saw service in South-East Asia. He has worked tirelessly for ex-service people and their families and represented Australia at various commemorations overseas. Bill dies in October, 2018.
