Jason sat down with writer/director Jay Pendarvis Jr. to discuss his short film, See You, Soon. See You, Soon is "an intimate, character-driven drama about grief, memory, and the weight of unfinished conversations." It's powerful, moving, and looks beautiful. Pendarvis manages to pack a whole lot into 10 minutes. We cannot wait to see what he does next. He's definitely one to watch.
It's our last day at DIFF and we try something different: Driving While Screaming...in Separate Cars. While the audio might not always be great, the conversation is. Films discussed: As We Breathe; If I Go Will They Miss Me; and Poetic License. We're already looking forward to DIFF 2027.
