Dedicated to Dad. A podcast for guests to speak about their losses, experiences with grief, and to share stories of their loved ones. It is hoped that by sharing our stories and journeys with grief that it may help others with their own situations.

Friend of the podcast from last year, Cheryl Parker, rejoins the podcast to discuss her advocacy work inspired by the loss of her daughter Rachel verbalizing her willingness to donate her organs. Suzy's Son died when he was 5 years old. He had a Mitochondrial disease and ultimately succumbed to Pneumonia. In 2020, Suzy's eldest Daughter Cameron’s body was found in a hotel in Portland, Oregon under very suspicious circumstances. Suzy joins us to share both heartbreaking stories and how she managed and is still working her way through the grief alongside her other daughter.

Kadin is an autistic college student, writer, and activist who is on a mission to spread awareness about autism throughout various platforms. He joins us to talk about a tennis great and person he considers a good friend although they never met in person, Lenny Simpson. Kadin was preparing to interview the tennis great but unfortunately passed away with natural causes before he got the opportunity.

Lauren's Mum passed away in 2019 after a long journey with severe Multiple Sclerosis. About 9 months after she lost her Mum, Lauren's Dad Steve was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer. Alexa joins us to remember her Dad Daryl. He went skiing on May 3rd and was all alone. The family don't know exactly what happened but he broke his neck and died instantly. Alexa discusses the shock of the event, how she dealt with grief at young age, and how the family remembers and honours her Dad today.

Jorge's father passed away at the age of 53 years old from alcoholism. His name is Luis G. Gonzalez and he is now part of the foundation that Jorge is now building his legacy on. Jorge discusses the affects of alcoholism on the family and how he has dealt with it after his Dad's passing.

Elizabeth's Dad passed away in 2010 from what was thought to be a heart issue but unconfirmed. She joins us to remember the loving Father he was. And how his lessons helped her through the grieving process.

Clarissa believes her Mom Leto lived a tormented existence as a result of experiences she had as a child. Clarissa discusses how she navigated undiagnosed mental illness, and that directly impacted her experience as her daughter. Clarissa remembers how she sought solace in her music and in food. She ultimately passed from the complications that come from morbid obesity.

Suzanne's son Ben died of depression and anxiety. Suzanne remembers the phone call she received whilst on a short trip away with her daughter. She shares stories of the intelligent person Ben was and discusses how the family honour him today. Cheryl's 8 year old daughter Rachel died from complications from a flu virus in Dec 1998. Rachel's platelets plummeted to a dangerous level, and the Doctors performed brain surgery on her, but after hours of surgery they said her brain was too swollen and she was pronounced brain dead.

Kathy's Dad Vaughn passed away on Aug. 1, 1995 of a heart attack. Kathy joins the podcast to remember some of her fondest memories of her Dad. Some she remembers frequently and others she is grateful to be able to remember and be able to share.
