In one for the ages in Boys Basketball last night. In Divison 4 Quarterfinals in Gladstone. Crystal Falls won in a back and forth game with the Panthers, 45-43. Crystal Falls Forest Park now heads to the Breslin Center at Michigan State, to take on Wyoming Tri Unity Christian at 530 Tomorrow Night.

Sault High ran into a buzz saw in The Gladstone Braves in The Region 9 Semifinals. Lilli Johnson the best player in the U.P dominated all night long. Gladstone won, 68-36. Braves olay Fremont for the Divison 2 Region final in Houghton Lake on Wednesday at 7

Northern Michigan jumped out on The Lakers early,, LSSU was cold shooting in first half only shooting 19 percent from the field. Lakers had a stornger second half but not enough as NMU run away with the Gliac tournament title, 78-63. Lake state makes the NCAA Tournament field as the # 2 seed and will head to Rolla Missouri  at Missori S&T and take on The Lincoln Blue Tigers  in the first round Saturday at 1 pm.

Lake Superior State shoots a high percentage, plays a great overall game and runs away from Ferris State, 93-76 in the GLiac Semifinals at Michigan tech's SDC Gym on Saturday. Lake State now takes on Northern Michigan tomorrow Afternoon at 1:45 on Newstalk 1400 and Later here at Prof Sports

After a rocky first half a good 3rd Quarter and clinging on in the 4th in a odd game. Blue Devils captured another District crown. 51-39 past The Kingsley Stags. Annabelle Fazari was big espically defensively and was named The Prof Impact Player of the game. Blue Devils now move onto THe Region 9 Semifinals against Gladstone. at a site to be determined Saturday Morning. 

Escanaba fell to Sault High 4-0 in the Divison 3 Region 18 final. Blue Devils jumped on The Eskimos early with a 3-0 lead. Nick Wood had 2 goals and Casey Engle made 30 saves for the Shut out. Blue Devils now take on The Jeffers Jets in Marquette at The Lakeview Arena on Saturday at 1

Sault High Boys Basketball fell in the District Quarterfinals, after having a 3 point lead at the break a big second half by Blazers Zach Porter. Kalkaska wins 72-52

In a very competive girls basketball game Sault High downed The Escanaba Eskimos, 53-46. Several lead changes in the contest, Piper Bell was red hot from the chairity stripe down the stretch

Escanaba falls to a very good Orchard lake St.Marys team coming off a loss to The Sault the night before. Eaglets beat Escanaba, 7-0

Sault High Boys Basketball hada good start and strong finish knocking off St.Ignace, 38-27 in St.Ignace Friday Night. Note: Broadcast is Second Quarter on as Niether Athletic Department communicated a start time change. 

Sault High girls lost to a very good Dewitt team, Blue Devils now 10-5 Dewitt is now, 15-1

St,Ignace started the contest off on fire. Shooting the lights out in the first half. Blue Devils mounted a comeback in the second half closing the gap to 6 after trailing most of game by double digits. Saints now 8-1 Sault High 7-2.
