Alright, history buffs and music fanatics, let's fire up the DeLorean and punch in "Summer of '85." The year is 2025, and we're looking back exactly 40 years to a time when mid-July meant blazing sun, sandy toes, and car stereos absolutely blaring. And what was on those stereos, you ask? A trio of albums that were practically stapled to every boombox and walkman: Kix's Midnight Dynamite, Rush's Power Windows, and Saxon's Innocence ...

Alright, imagine it's June 1984...The nights are full of questionable weekend decisions, music cranking out of the backs of cars, and probably forgotten mornings.  We dive into the glorious chaos of '80s rock with the relisten of these gems. 

We're tackling Megadeth's Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good! (said in Dave's voice) Then there's Mötley Crüe's Theatre of Pain. And finally, the slick and utterly captivating Ratt...

Alright, buckle up, rock fans! Forty years ago, 1985 unleashed some serious hair! We had Night Ranger, seasoned pros on their "7 Wishes" tour – probably wishing for less hairspray and more encores.

Then came Stryper, "Soldiers Under Command," boldly going where no bumblebee-themed band had gone before. Were their guitar picks blessed?

And let's not forget White Lion, fresh out of the den with "Fight to Survive." Talk about a "mane"...

This month, we review rock albums from April 1985 to see if they still shred or should’ve stayed on cassette. Expect hot takes, big riffs, and bigger opinions—because while we’re definitely not professionals, we are passionate… and maybe a little tone-deaf.
