"Ugh. why is this stuck in my head!" have you ever muttered this to yourself when a song comes on the radio or in the shuffle? you may be entitled to compensation... just kidding these artists made a big splash with one song and then nothing. tangents, goofs, insults and odd movie reviews were on deck this time.

After a week off (again), Mike and Dave return to talk about weird loners and whiny musicians. ranting about dead frontmen, goth music and flutes. I don't think anyone reads this anyway.
Come on! Of course we are immature. Who would resist using the reference to everyone's favorite number and act? We are surprisingly tame compared to what we could say, but you know it gets crazy.
Is the end really nigh? Is it doom for us? Are Mike and Dave breaking up? Inspired by one of our favorite "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" quote, we look at hard and fast songs. some are brutally fast and some are wild and untamed. Dave's audio sounds like absolute trash (New mic being returned immediately) and video is sketchy at best.
This is our 2024 celebration of black culture in music. we appreciate the style, sophistication, technical ability, and overall foundation of music that black, African-American, POC peoples have brought to music and the arts.
Not much to talk about here, but we have more to talk about than usual. randomness is up and Mike almost gets assaulted. Good time had by all.
There is something so special about live albums. They capture a moment in time that will never happen the same way again. This makes for some really special and personal experiences, and the studio versions are ok too. Man, oh man does the live album feel special.

this time, after another brief hiatus , we check out the artists that aren't afraid to be a little silly. Some of them are outright ridiculous. we look at bands that are able to be complete goofs and we think the world is better for it.
these guys think what they do is their "divine craft" self important jerks. after a week off due to life getting in the way of a good time. we look at bands, artists, persons that take themselves too seriously.

A knife in the back, a dagger in the heart, turning the tables? We are talking about betrayal, and the music that comes from the twisted feeling that makes your heart hurt or you stomach drop. Our first remote episode with Mike and Dave in their respective homes, is it comfortable? no. is it good? also no but we are trying
This week we look at the first album from Dio. Fronted by the incomparable Ronnie James Dio. Holy diver as an album was full of instant classics, and paved the way for not only the band's career, but hard rock and heavy metal for years to come. we look at each track and obviously go off topic many times.
