Speaker 1 (00:00):
We Need to Talk Conversations on wellness with Coast FM's
Tony Street.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hello, welcome to We Need to Talk and the Christmas
Gift Guide for twenty twenty four.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
I'm starting today with the under forty dollar gifts. We
all need those. It's been a really hard year and look.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I will give some inspiration for luxury gifts a little later,
but let's start with the cheaper things. So number one
on my list is the tinted sunscreen Bondi Sands Face
FPF fifty okay, seventeen ninety nine. You can get it
from Bargain Chemist. You can probably get it from elsewhere
as well. What I loved about this sunscreen is that
the tint gives you a really glowy look and it
doesn't believe that you know that sort of white, chalky

(00:41):
look that sunscreen can often leave. You can put it
either under or on top of your makeup, so that
is my number one suggestion. You can also get caller
sunscreen that is a little bit more expensive, so I'm
going to put that in a gift guide later on.
A satin pillow for thirty three dollars from my kitch
dot com kitch spelled Kitah beautiful satin pillows. They span

(01:04):
the age groups. Younger people like them, older people like them.
The ment to make our face not bears wrinkled, so
I'm all for that. Speaking of the satin heatless items,
you can get a satin heatless curling set for twenty
eight dollars from the same store my kitch dot com.
I've recently discovered this place. So essentially, it's like a
big satin rope that you tie your hair around at night,

(01:26):
go to sleep, and when you wake up, you take
it out and you've got these beautiful curls with no
heat needed at all. Staying with the hair products, six
dollars ninety nine for.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
A claw clip.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Now, you can get a claw clip from anywhere but
Glassens dot com or just head into a store. They
have a whole array of them. Really popular with all
age groups. It's kind of the way to have your
hair up over summer. A keep cup, the Rambler cup
from Yetti y Eti dot com thirty dollars and they
are the most.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Beautiful, pretty keep cups that you will ever see.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I've got mine in an icy white. It comes in
a whole raft of colors. They actually do really cool
drink bottles as well, if you want an alternative to
the frank, green drink drink bottles that seem to be
everywhere at the moment. If you're looking for something that's
a little quirky, how about a date night coupon that
you don't have to write yourself. Fourteen dollars ninety nine
from mighty eight. Now, what I love about Mighty Ape

(02:20):
is you can go online and it arrives the next day,
the same day in some cases, so it could be
a really good last minute panic present, but you're listening
to this early so you'll be fine. And it basically
dishes out date night coupons that you can give to
your loved one on any different day and they can
redeem that coupon. I haven't actually gone through and seen
what they actually suggest on there. I hope it's nothing

(02:43):
to dodgy. The Glossier lip Barn from Mecca. It's thirty
dollars and it is the IT item for lips. It
really is for all age groups. My twelve year old
daughter wants one.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I know that. I've talked to our producer Rosie. She's
twenty two.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I'm forty one, and I would like this too. They
come in a ray of time, different colors and really
pretty packaging too. You can also get a set of
three if you'd like.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
And lastly, the Jordan cru socks.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
If you don't know about these, this is what every
boy wants and a lot of girls too, thirty five
dollars from JD Sports. JD Sports actually has a lot
of cool culture where gear.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
You can get three pairs of these.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Jordan Crew socks for just thirty five bucks. They come
in white and black and red, and they are the
ultimate of cool to wear with shorts.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
So you see those long socks.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I know that we're unco I'm uncol as a forty
one year old that wears ankle socks.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
You're supposed to display your socks these days, so if
you're looking to do that, be done with the kids.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Get the JD Sports socks, the Jordan's three pairs thirty
five dollars. That is all your gifts under forty bucks.
And I might add some more to it and do
another podcast close to the Christmas.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Have a good one.
