Luckily for you, Toni's here to help. Over the next couple of weeks, she'll be sharing her gift recommendations for women, men, mums, dads, children, and everyone in between!

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hi there, welcome to We need to Talk and the
Christmas Gift Guide. Today we're talking about a category I
know very well, preteens and teens. Well, actually my daughter's
not a teenager, but kind of think she is, so
she wants the things that the teenagers want. So this
is my guide for the preteens and teenage girls. I'm
so excited. I love doing the Christmas gift guides.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
May you do so well. Just have such great pleasure.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
In recommending things, and I basically do it from things
in my life that I know that that person that
I know would like. And so today I'm doing pre
teen and teenage girls.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Oh here's you create agree and.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Preteen girls goes anywhere from about eight.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Or nine, so that's what my middle daughter is and.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Goes up to about twelve, and the teenage girls obviously
can go right up to eighteen. So number one on
the list for Thursteen ninety nine. Something nice and cost effective.
It's the high Smile toothpaste.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
We have a.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Lineup with this toothpaste. She can get it by chemist
and it's all different flavors. Like they have cotton candy,
and it's the packaging that's the cool thing.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Bright pinks, bright blues, cotton candy. It'll make a really
cute stocking filler.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
So I'm starting with that now, not even forteen dollars, No,
it's not even foting bucks.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yeah, it would actually make a really cute secret scent
to present too.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Write that down and encourages them the brush their teeth,
which is always a challenge at my place.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yes, you know, this is a new suggestion for me.
And I found this and I was so excited. I
showed the boys, didn't I The swan Dry retro jacket. Yeah, gorgeously,
this is a major find. I'm going to get this
for at least one of my girls.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I reckon. So what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
It's the traditional swan Dry with the checks, but it's
in really cool colors. So they've got like a wicked
pank kind of purply color and aqua and it's we
be really cooled to wear in winter and it's really styly.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
It's more fashionable than the bush style. Yeah, but the.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Kind of swan Dry pattern remains that remains. It just
insert whatever color instead of the red.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
But also the sweetsirt vision of two rightes. You if
you've got a child in your life, think it's too hot,
they run hot yep.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
And at that one and twenty dollars retro jacket you
feels a bit expensive. I think they'll sweatch it was
only about thirty somethings.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
That's cost.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
It's the same the lip.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
What is it? It's a lip.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
A butter barm from Summer Fridays is the very cool
barm for the preteens. It's forty five bucks for a barm.
But I have tried it and it's amazing and I
want to steal it off my children. That's where I'm
at in my life. iPhone an iPad cases. I'm sitting
here with one of them on my Max on my
Mac laptop at the moment. Case Toify they have all

(02:37):
these amazing protective coverings and you can get it seemed
on what your child likes.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Still lost on this effectively, what it is is it's
clear wrapping, the modern equivalent of clear book.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Mine's got pink flowers if you're wondering, and I think
that's just caseify dot com. Dotte you George Jeane Shorts,
really dukes and no No, the long ones.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Are back in for the goals.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Go to Culture Kings dot co dot NZ eighty nine
dollars the carry Carpenter shorts.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
The long ones are back.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I actually have got a short version because one of
my daughter's likes long, the other like short. But the
long ones are really in, as are the basketball shorts.
So I'll talk about that while I'm here. Helen Stein's
thirty nine to ninety nine. The girls are wearing the
boys helen Stein shorts, and the ones that have Miami
across the front are really cool. Even if they're not
sporty like they're scene is really cool. And they wear

(03:34):
it with a little tight rib singlet Lanno lips duo.
So if the summer Fridays you felt like that was
a bit expensive, thirty dollars from Mecca and you get
a pack, so you get three or two, I think
that's really cool stocking filler. An NY cap, Sam, You've
got one on right now. No cooler cap than Ny.
And it's not just because we went there.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
