Tony Streams Christmas Gift Guide twenty pretty four.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hello, welcome to that. We need to talk Christmas gift
guide today. It's for the young kids, so probably kids
under the age of eight or nine. Number one on
the list a motorized tarantula. I just feel like this
ticks so many boxes for kids, because, let's be honest,
when we give them clothes, they kind of hate them.
You know, they might be slightly excited if they're above nine,
but below nine they don't really want clothes. So motorized
(00:27):
tarantulats thirty nine dollars. You can get that from Farmers,
moves around and they can scare people with it. A
moving basketball is my second round of moving basketball hoop,
also from Farmers for forty nine dollars. Basketball seems to
be the sport dujuur. Everyone is loving it, so I've
actually recommended some basketball singlets and things as well. You
(00:47):
can make your own kneon sign for thirty five dollars
from Farmers, and you can bend the sign into shape
to make whatever character you want. Thirty five dollars is
really reasonable because if you're looking at a personalized sign,
you're looking hundreds of dollars. What about a Kid's Safe
thirty nine to ninety nine from Briscoes. They get to
make their own combination, their own codes, and I think
(01:08):
kids just love that, thinking that they can hide away
their secret stuff so no one can find it. Just
maybe make sure they write down the code so that
you don't get it stuck. Bucket hats very cool this summer,
and the coolest one that I've found for a really
cheap price thirteen dollars is from cotton On. They are
reversible so they can wear them two ways, and I
think it's such great value for money. Little minis from Kmart.
(01:32):
The's an ice cream maker for nineteen dollars, a popcorn
maker for twenty five, and a little dipping pot for
nineteen dollars. I'm picturing a fruit platter with some little
sticks that they can dip into these pots with little
melted chocolate. Really good price and the best thing about
them is the mini so they don't take up much
space in your kitchen cupboard. What about a personalized beach towel.
(01:55):
Cotton On is doing these for forty nine dollars. You
can get your name on it or maybe it's their favorite.
Would make a really cool gift for a friend as well.
Drones are really big with adults this year, but toy
drones are really good with kids. Mighty Ape has got
a thirty dollar kids drone and the thing about Mighty
Ape they deliver often the same day. Football is really big.
(02:16):
You can get a football shirt from adidass dot co
dot NZ for one hundred and fifty dollars. Someone also
text in on Coast Breakfast and said fanatics dot com
has them pretty cheap too. Auckland FC, which is big
for anyone in the Auckland region, you can get a
football with all of their logo for just nineteen ninety nine.
And I'm sure there's a Wellington Phoenix one two of
(02:37):
your more that way inclind The basketball single that I
talked about earlier you can get from Rebel Sport. That's
the one that I've got for my son. And lastly,
Blue is the cool cartoon for the young kids and
they are touring at the moment, so Ticketmaster, dot cod
and enz you can get a forty five dollar ticket
to go and see the Blue stage show. And if
(02:59):
you look looking for merch, bluey Crocs have just dropped
for toddlers and out for the younger kids for eighty
five dollars.
