Paros is a small cosmopolitan island. It's flat and very similar to Mykonos, with white-washed buildings and winding streets. It has many types of beaches. Naxos seems slightly less expensive with a stronger focus on local Greek food. B...

I'm already planning to return to this amazing low-cost beach town. There's a reason people choose to stay for months vs days: Endless accommodations, food, and lots of things to do. The fresh seafood is fantastic and I loved the grilled lobsters and crabs. There's a beautiful pedestrian walkway in front of the beach that I used every morning. It's close and easy to visit the mountains and even the beautiful town of Hoi An.
Here you will find the highest mountain in Vietnam. If you are brave, take the gondola to the top. There are numerous opportunities for short to long hikes. The rice fields are magnificent and the villages welcome hikers.
It is a bustling capital city with two interesting areas - the Old Quarter and the French Quarter. It doesn't compare to other fantastic Asian cities, in my opinion. But, I think my expectations were too high... find out why in this episode!

Philadelphia is the first UNESCO heritage city in the USA. It's full of history. Make sure you see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Look for the themes of freedom and activism which have been woven into the street art and murals throughout the city. Of course, your trip would not be complete without a cheesesteak and Philly soft pretzel.
