The Love’s Playbook Podcast The Bible as the Story of an All-good God

The Love’s Playbook Podcast The Bible as the Story of an All-good God

Don’t have time to read the Bible? Can’t understand it? Here it is written as a story for adults that reads like a novel. The story of an all-good God. Listen and fall in love. My version has characters who are fleshed out with carefully researched backstory because they were people like us. I wanted to slow the stories down, make them come to life with characters you can relate to. People like you--people you can identify with and remember. AND the focus is on a good God, not a scary or angry one. The men who wrote the Bible wanted a strong warrior God, and to be sure They are! (One position--three beings who fill it.) But there is such a difference between Their preferred will and Their allowed will. Love and freedom are Their greatest values. Episode 1 is my fantasy of Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 with Revelation 12-–the universe before us. Listen to Abba, Adonai and Ruach converse and see how evil could enter a perfect world—a perfect creation!

Through our study of Scripture we have come to understand the 7 last plagues are God pouring out permission for Satan to have control little by little as Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) leaves the Earth and gives Satan control. This is so everyone can see what kind of king he would be.

This discussion emphasizes that God’s goodness is going to be made very plain at the end of time, and Their wrath is simply allowing us to have what we choose: Their love or our own way.

Can we possibly see a good God in the three angels messages? Oh yes! Rightly understood this is a Key passage for God‘s goodness. Open your heart and ask God to show you truth.

This is a redo of our discussion on Revelation 13. It’s all about who would start a war against God and why and how he believes he can get away with it. And so far in heaven, and in this new world, by using deception he has been very successful.

This is one of the hardest chapters in Revelation and all of scripture—but it is a great discussion!

This will be the last one for a while. I recorded this a month ago—my husband died three months ago. I’m selling and moving and life is rapidly changing. But I hope you have enjoyed what you’ve heard and the rest of David’s story is in Love’s Playbook and can be found on Amazon.

This was a surprising podcast! Barb brought some extra reading to the table, and at first I disagreed, but she presented and we read together and discovered it’s what we were believing all along! And what I had written supported it!! Come and listen.

There is a song on K-LOVE called Elohim. It’s all about God‘s throne that his heart has no end, and his throne has no limit, and this discussion is about that throne. It never really appealed to me before I looked at it as Jesus’ inauguration to King of kings and Lord of lords in the Universe rather than just the usual daily activity of heaven.
