This is one of, if not, the best episode to date! Awareness without action keeps you stagnant. Action without awareness buries you deeper. Becoming aware is step one, then taking action allows you to spend less time in the negative cycle. Become aware, make a plan, attack, and repeat.

Sometimes, it is cool to go into an episode with no plan. This was one of those episodes. Tim explains why it is so important for not only leaders and business owners to surround them selves with smarter people and mentors, but to really do that for every aspect of life. If you want to grow and get to the next level, you must seek out and listen to those at that next level already.

You are part of your team along with family, friends, coworkers, and even those who make your job difficult. Honor and support your team, no matter what. Loyalty is massive for an organization. It requires communication and accountability. If those are practiced consistently, you will build trust, thus leading to loyalty within your organization or other relationships in your life.

Being consistent and stacking small wins will eventually lead to success. Inconsistency leads to frustration and mistakes. Every process and decision must be held under your Core Value lens and executed the same as the one before. No person or task is greater or worse than the next.

"Work/Life Balance" is a misleading statement. We should put 100% of our focus into the task or area of life that we are currently in and not "balance" our energy on multiple things at once. This can cause mistakes and incidents to occur, putting you in a hole. We discuss with Tim some concepts and tips of how to navigate life and work without destroying yourself, especially as a business owner.

Kelby and Drew breakdown accountability and some signs of lacking accountability within an organization or even life in general. Some solutions to combat this are also discussed. You must first accept responsibility for your own actions before focusing on other. As you look down the Chain of Command, you have twice as many looking back up. If everyone is held to the same standard, you don't know who the boss is.

Tim talks about a very important, if not the  most important, attribute a leader must have; listen. Not only listen, but listen with an open-mind to your people. This does not apply to just the owner or president of an organization, this applies to all leaders and to all aspects of life. Everyone is in some kind of leadership role in their life. This conversation was unplanned, but totally worth it.
