(00:19):
All right here we are glad tohave you here. Jimmy is my name.
And if you don't know that bynow, are you either new to
the program or you're ignoring me?I hurts either way. Glad to have
you though tuned in today. Ifyou want to email me Jimmy Lakey at
iHeartMedia dot com, Facebook dot com, slash Jimmy Lakey fan page. So
Twitter is just my name. JI M M Y l A K E

(00:40):
Y. Jump into the conversation anyway you wish to do so. All
right, we broke the new hasabout a half hour ago. Now it's
circulating everywhere. Kimberly Cheedah has nowresigned. President Biden just issued a statement
about he and doctor Jill, orwell, he didn't issue the statement.
You know, it goes somebody writesthose for you. He and doctor Jill
are through old for the friendship inthe years of service, et cetera,

(01:03):
et cetera, et cetera. Trumpsays, you know, she don't never
gave me proper protection. That's whatthe whistleblowers were saying. The whistleblowers were
saying, mister, mister President Trumpwas not given the protection that we kept
requesting. So there's a lot tobe investigated here, and I think Chuck
Andrews are a security expert that wason earlier had it exactly right that there

(01:26):
really needs to be an independent investigationwith the reputation that Christopher Ray and the
FBI have deserved and earned and deservinglyhave now. So anyway, it's going
to be a fascinating time. We'redrinking I told this to leeha biberlier when
he was on the program. Isaid, Lee, we're drinking water.

(01:47):
We're drinking history from a fire hydrantright now. It's like flash splashing out
of her mouth. I mean,we're taking like two years of current events
and they're just seemingly NonStop. Imean that hearing yesterday against that cheetah was
just brutal, and you just hadto wonder, what are you hiding?
And why is it that you justwon't come clean. I mean, it's
just give the answers. I meansimple things about why did you say this?

(02:12):
Why I have to look into that, how many agents were on scene
that day? I'm not allowed tosay, Well, it's after the fact.
You can't tell me how many Secretservice ags. She just refused to
answer. Anything. I mean,it was so bad. As I said,
Alexandria Cassio Cortez and Jim Jordan wereon the same page, and Jamie
Raskin and Jim Comber were on thesame page. This is the same committee
that's been in a ranker and fightingbrawl and throwing mud because they investigation of

(02:36):
Hunter Biden and the Biden crime family. But yesterday they all came together in
a Kumbaya moment and it was itwas crazy. It was absolutely crazy hearing
Cheto, I guess found some goodsense and she resigned today. I think
she still got to be investigated.I think she's still got to come in
to be what do you know, what did you do? She's just because

(02:58):
she resign doesn't mean you're exonerated fromculpability or something. I mean, you've
got to have to give answer. And if an independent commission finds out that
she was leadership, then let's dependenton or if not, then let her
move on and go back in.They said yesterday, go guard the Dorito's
when she used to be the directorof security to Pepsi Cove by Pepsi Cove.

(03:19):
So anyway, a Cheeto has resignedand it's going to be fascinating to
see what happens to her in thefuture and to find out if there's something
behind the scenes that we're just notaware of. And you know, was
she just incompetent? Was? There'sso many questions and I think after yesterday,
she knows that she's not going tohave any defenders on any of these

(03:40):
committees, and so she's going tohave to either answer questions or just get
out of there so she doesn't haveto answer questions. So when the heat's
too much in the kitchen, youride off into the sunset, and she's
riding off into the sunset. NowI mentioned earlier, and we'll followout story
if anything else breaks onto the commentsare coming out, But again, that
happened about a half hour ago thatCheadle announce her resignation. Let me go

(04:03):
back to an interview I reviewed Ireferenced a moment ago and you can find
it now at Jimmy Lakey dot com. J I M M Y l A
K E Y. One of myfavorite national shows that I love to hear.
I think we only aired on weekendson six hundred KC well, but
a lot of stations have it nightlyand it's Lee Habibe's creator of it.

(04:24):
It's called Our American Stories, andOur American Stories is just a fantastic telling
stories about America. America is foundingthe history, the behind the scenes,
the things you might not have knownabout about characters in our history. And
I want to bring ahead Lee Habibon early this moment morning to talk about

(04:44):
jd Vance. He has a pieceat newsweek dot com recently in which Newsweek
he talks about jd Vance and howjd Vance isn't just the VP pick,
He's actually the living embodiment of theRepublican national agenda. And if you look
at the new you know, theDemocrats will say Trump's Project twenty five Project
twenty five put up by an independentthink tank called the Heritage Foundation. Trump's

(05:06):
project is on the website Donald Trumpdot com and it's the pillars and the
tenants of the platform of the RepublicanParty. Has nothing to do with Agenda
twenty five. Project twenty five whatdo they call it. So anytime you
hear Kamala or Joe talking about theRepublicans Project twenty five, no one that's
not that has nothing to do withher. That's a Heritage Foundation that's an

(05:29):
independent group that came up with anidea and their think tank and that's what
think tanks do. They get paidto do that by their donors. So
anyway, Lee Habib I had themon originally to talk about the JD.
Vancepick and his great column that hehas at newsweek dot com. But the
creator of Our American Stories podcast andthe radio show. He also helped create

(05:51):
the Lori Ingram radio show. That'swhere she got her start before she became
the Fox News celebrity that she is. Lee Habib joined me and I said,
Lee, before we get to JD. Vans, we're drinking history and
I'm just out of a water hose, but out of a fire hydrant.
It's an amazing time that we're livingin. Here's what he said, Well,
you know it's a little bit innineteen sixty eight, right, LVJ

(06:14):
took himself out long before, right, this is a little later. Did
he take himself out? Was hepushed out? Did they have a better
idea? Who knows? There arealways little pockets of history that repeat itself.
I also think this is sixty eightin terms of the battle inside the
Democrat Party. You know, wehad traditional Democrats beyond the John F.
Kennedy Democrats. He had like communistDemocrats. He started the Vietnam War.

(06:36):
Let's face it, Kennedy started theVietnam War. And then you had the
radical progressors in sixty eight taking overthe campuses, burning the flag. We
had weather underground that's Antifa. Wehad the Black Panthers Party, that's Black
Lives Matter. So in this way, sixty it really looks and feels like
sixty eight all over again. Andwhere's the convention Chicago once again? And

(06:58):
who's going to try and turn thatplace upside down? The people that feel
unrepresented, and that's the progressive wingof the party. And remember there was
a deal made when Biden got thatnomination in the beginning in two thousand.
He basically said, look, Iwill consolidate the Democrat Party. I can
win Bernie you can't win, ElizabethBarren, you can't win, but I'll

(07:19):
win for you, and then I'llcarry the wing of the progressive wing of
the party. This is a trainwreck happening inside the Democrat Party. And
what's really remarkable is, like Reagan, that our party has not rallied around
Trump. Trump has helped create anew Republican Party, a party for the
forgotten men and women, for theworking class, for the middle class.

(07:43):
This America First thing is a bigdeal. And it's not Reagan, because
Reagan had different issues to deal withat the time. But the party has
rallied around Trump in the same thesame way that the party finally after a
big fight between those West Coast Conservativesand those the East Coast Republicans. Remember
establisher of Republicans versus Ronald Reagan, the gold Water crowd from the West Coast.

(08:07):
So the fights within our parties havebeen happening all the way back from
the beginning with the Federalists and theanti Federalists, and between our parties and
within our parties. Leehabib, thehost and the creator of Our American Stories,
you can hear that here on sixhundred k Cool. It's on two
hundred and fifty different markets, apodcast as well, Our American Stories all

(08:31):
right. By the way, speakingof the chaos and the Democrat Party,
I just saw some of the tweetsby Alexandria Cassio Cortes out there, and
she's not on board with the wholething. She says she's gonna expose at
all, She says, Listen,I've had conversations. They're not just trying
to get Joe auth the ticket,They're trying to chase Kamala out as well.
And she's almost willing to name names. So it's gonna be interesting to

(08:52):
see even how Alexandria Cassio Cortes doesn'tplay again along when everybody else seems to
be joining behind Kamala Harris. It'sfascinating times, it is. And let's
say said, we had a fighton the rights for the last fifteen years,
right, Ever since the Tea Partymovement, frankly so, the Republican
Party has been engaged in a realfight. Is it America first? Is

(09:13):
it the Tea Party? Is thatold school Republican values? For? Is
it the establishment of the Republican Party? And the same things happening inside the
Democrat Party had Finally we're getting tosee it. You know. The good
thing about having a fight out inthe open is that you're not trying to
hide things. You're trying to justsee who prevails. Right, the Democrats
have been having this fight in privatefor a very long time. It's about

(09:37):
to spill out into the rest ofthe country. We're all going to get
to see it. By the way, this is good for the Democrat Party.
And I would vastly prefer to seea Democrat Party like the Clinton Democrats
or the Kennedy Democrats. Then thisrabble, this rabble that represents a very
small sliver of this country, butthat I believe took over one of our
great parties. I think the progressis go over the Democrat Party, and

(10:01):
the Democrat Party has now come toregret this. Yeah again, the voice
of Lee Habib, a creator andhost of our American Stories. All right,
let's switch a gear slightly go backto the Republican side. Donald Trump
last week announced that jd. Vance, Senator from Ohio, the junior Senator,
was going to be his running mate, his pick for VP. And
I want to get your take onthis because he's a fascinating character. I

(10:24):
was not that familiar with Lee.With JD Vance, I haven't even watched
Hillbilly Elergy. It's on my listto watch this weekend. But give me
your thoughts on this jd Vance pickby Donald J. Trump. Well,
I think it's first important to read. Have everybody reader. You should do
your listeners a service. And readthrough the very short Republican platform. It's
not filled with gunk. It's simple. It's a it's a policy statement about

(10:50):
what actually JD. Vance lived through. You see, JD. Van comes
from a part of the country, the rust belt, Middletown, Ohio,
to be very precise, They goteviscerated when we were outsourcing our jobs thanks
to NAFTA and thanks to price stumpingfrom Asian countries. In other words,
and so dance is an actual byproduct of the Trump movement, of the

(11:13):
make America Great Again movement, ofthe America First movement. And this is
what's so intriguing about this guy.I urge all of your listeners to not
only watch the movie, but moreimportantly read Hillbilly Elogy the book, because
it's a beautiful book. If youdon't mine, I wanted to share just
a couple of things from the bookbecause you'll get a feel for why this
guy, why this guy is thevice president. He wrote this, And

(11:35):
this is what I love about ourparty. Now the party is not just
about the GDP. Our party isno longer just about global corporate America.
It's about ordinary working Americans and howwe make life better for them, and
not just for the profits of Americancompanies. We have to do both.
American companies thrive, but American workersare destroyed. This is how the progressives

(11:58):
win, This is how they takeover the country. He starts in his
prologue. I didn't write this bookbecause I've accomplished something extraordinary. He ended
up going to Yale Law School andworking for Peter Thiel. I wrote this
book because I've achieved something quite ordinary, which doesn't happen to most kids who
grew up like me and where Igrew up. You see, I grew
up poor in the roust belt,in an Ohio steel town that has been

(12:20):
hammering jobs and hope for as longas I can remember. And then he
goes on, he goes Whatever talentsI have, I almost squandered all of
them until a handful of loving peoplerescued me. That is the real story
of my life. I want peopleto know what it feels like to nearly
give up on yourselves and why youmight do that. And there are people

(12:41):
in our country right now giving upon themselves. His mother was a heroin
addict. He grew up in anarea where with the jobs leave men feel
useless, men, well, theyfeel purposeless. And what happens opioid addiction.
Men between thirty five and fifty fourdying at record rates, dying at
record rates in an age cohort wherethey should be experiencing their greatest income gains

(13:05):
and their greatest security. So,thank goodness, our party dedicated, by
the way, to the forgotten menand women of the country. That's who
the Republican platform is dedicated to.Now that sounds leftists, that sounds democrat,
but it shouldn't be. We haveto be concerned about working families,
not just entrepreneurs. Moreover, Trumpand jd Events really care about small businesses,

(13:28):
not the big ones, not thebig ones, because all the job
growth in this country comes from smallbusinesses. And the regulatory state, with
all of their compliance costs, actuallyraises the costs for small business so does
high interest rates. And of coursethe big businesses they got bigger during COVID.
It's the small businesses that shutter duringCOVID because they didn't have the capital.

(13:50):
They couldn't withstand what happened to them. And in the end, what
do you get, You get biggerand bigger companies. By the way,
bigger and bigger banks, thank you, Dodd Frank and fifty percent of community
at small banks since two thousand andnine are now out of business. Where
was the Republican Party when that washappening. We can't just complain about what
the Democrats do, but we haveto give solutions to working class Americans or

(14:13):
one day they'll be voting for thebarassive progressive wing of the Democrat Party.
And that's how we get to socialismfrom the failure of capitalism and the failure
of the Republican Party to articulate theneeds of ordinary working class Americas. The
voice of Lee habib Our American Storiesis broadcast that he created you here here
on six hundred kcol podcast as well. Ay, it's fascinating to think that

(14:37):
this great story of jd. Vance. Of course it's told in the movie
adaptation of his book, directed byRon Howard. But the media probably going
to downplay this a great story.I know you've written a piece of Newsweek
about it. They're going to becreating a story about Kamala Harrison. You're
going to make it sound like she'skind of a mix between Mother Teresa Jesus
Christ, Mother Mary Oprah Winfrey,They're going to really create this narrative of

(15:00):
who Kamala Harris is and really justkind of try to downplay jd vancea where
he came from and what he fightsfor. How do you reconcile the difference
between the way both of their storieswill be told? Well, you know,
the media always does what the mediadoes, right, but at least
we have platforms. Now we haveactual stories. Netflix is ruining the day
they ever made this movie, right, Poor Ron Howard? Right, what

(15:22):
happened to I mean Ron Howard's sayingto himself what happened at jd Vance?
But I have something to say toRon Howard, What happened to you?
Jd Vance hasn't changed? What areyou going to do? Renounce the movie
you made about his life? Youknow? Jd Vance goes on to work
for Peter feel. He goes towork for a billionaire and he has his
own private investment fund that he's running, but he can't live with it.

(15:43):
He comes back to Ohio to tryand do small venture capital to help some
of the small businesses grow in neighborhoodslike the one he grew up in.
And then of course he runs forSenate, so in the end, what's
going to happen is these two willmeet on a stage and its fate.
And when they meet on the stage, the debate, the spinning, and
the storytelling begins. That was myinterview earlier with Lee Habib happy this morning.

(16:06):
Of course, those two that Idon't think directly will meet on the
stage now that now that Kamala hasbeen promoted to the top of the ticket.
But well shall see anyway, thatinterview is not even closed over.
We got quite a bit more ofthat interview with Lee Habib. It's at
my website Jimmy Lakey dot com jI M M Y L A K E
Y Jimmy Lakey dot com. Andthat's the interview from this morning. It's
a fresh one and it's with LeeHabib from our American Stories. All right,

(16:30):
everybody stand by. We've got ahalf hour to go. I've got
some emails I want to read toyou. Jimmy Lakey at iHeartMedia dot com.
Jimmy Lakey at iHeartMedia dot com.President Biden's evidently going to address the
nation tomorrow about his stepping down asthe candidate for the Democrats. I'll get
well dive into more there's still halfhour ago. Don't go anywhere. Jimmy

(16:52):
Lakey six hundred kco L. Allright, we got the breaking news happening

(17:36):
all over us. Kimberly Cheatle hasresigned. We broke that story. Uh,
I think before everybody else did.And I mean I mean I picked
it up from somewhere else, butit was before the scroll on the screen.
I saw flash and then it disappeared. It disappeared so quickly I couldn't
find it that I while I wasdoing a segment, I was like looking,
going did I misread that? DidI misinform my audience? And I

(17:57):
did not. Kimberly Cheato has decidedto step down after that heated and just
nasty hearing yesterday where she just wasportrayed and just stunningly raised more questions about
the assassination attempt than anything, andDemocrats and Republicans joined together and said,
you got to get the heck outof town. And hopefully she still she

(18:19):
still got some explain that she reallydoes. She don't testified, of course
yesterday, be for the House OversightCommittee. By the July thirteenth shooting attempt
on Donald J. Trump, shesaid that's the she said, there's a
Director of Secret Service under oath. She said, I take full responsibilities for
any security lapse of our agency. We must learn and what happened, and

(18:42):
I will move heaven and earth toensure that an incident like July thirteenth does
not happen again. She said thatthat's a very nice statement, isn't it.
But if you watch the hearing, she wasn't moving anything. She wasn't
moving a piece of paper across thedesk to give any answer. She wanted
no accountability, and they, overand overgo Democrats and Republicans said, get
the heck down, a stand downwoman. They even one way. He

(19:03):
said, I'll yield by five minutesif you'd like to write your resignation letter
right here on the spot. Andso she has announced her resignation. Let
me see if there's any other breakingnews on this story. She wouldn't do
She just wouldn't answering things. SoI guess you just assubmitted a letter.
I don't think there's been a publicstatement yet, but she has now resigned

(19:25):
over the Trump assassination attempt. There'san interesting piece that I don't know.
I guess it's just the world welive in but it is at where's it
at? It's Fox News, Ibelieve, Yeah, the Trump's shooters of
the So the shooter of the DonaldTrump has returned to public eyes. As
we just tried to take care ofourselves. In Bethel Park, Pennsylvania,

(19:47):
Thomas Matthew Cook's father was spotted inpublic coton Monday. I guess this is
a news story. I mean,I guess he's probably had people camped out
by the house wanting a statement.Camped out for the first time since the
twenty year old gunman opened fire onthe former president. Snipers killed the shooter.
Investigators who spent last week visiting thehome of the family in a suburb

(20:10):
of Pittsburgh. The man identified asthe father and a masked woman he was
with declined to answer questions when approachedby Fox News Digital. They said,
we're going to release his statement whenour legal council advises us to do so.
Until then, we have no comment. We just want to try to
take care of ourselves right now. Please give us our space. His family

(20:33):
members say that the fbsas they havecooperator with the FBI and the agency that
tries to pend down motives, asthey about the assassination. Fox News previously
reported that his parents are Matthew andMary. They called police hours before the
suitings, saying that he was missingand that they were concerned about his welfare.
It is unclear whether they knew hewas in possession of an AAR fifteen

(20:55):
that was registered to his father.Matthew and Mary Crooks are licensed professional counselors,
according to the Pennsylvania Department of StateLicensing and System Verification. What is
the old saying the Cobblers' kids haveno shoes counselors? Huh. Crooks graduated
from Bethel Park High School. Heand Mayhe earned an associate's degree in engineering

(21:18):
and reportedly planned a role with RobertMorris University at the in Pittsburgh. So
anyway, his parents were spotted byin groceries and the Fox News or some
stringer reporter goes up and it says, you got a statement, Well,
it's your statement. When our attorneysays it's safety, iss your statement,
that's it. So I don't know, but that's the headline. This is

(21:40):
just the world we live in.And again, I understand there's curiosity out
there and there's voyeurism out there, but that's like the topstry at foxnews dot
Com. It's like, look here, we got a photo of a got
walking out of the grocery basket. All right, that's very nice to know,
very nice to know. Now isthat real news? I don't know.
It's definitely not necessarily news that allof us could couldn't live without,

(22:03):
but it's the world that we shalllive in. Kamala Harris going to skip
net and Yaho's addressed to Congress whiletop Denawarecraft Senate Boycott's altogether listen to this.
Vice President Kamala Harris has declining topreside over a Wednesday joint session to
the Congress by Israeli Prime Minister Benjaminand Yahoo because well, she's too busy.
She's going to be in Indiana foran of It was previously scheduled,

(22:26):
per her aid Kamala Harris, whoon Monday became the presumptive nominee. There's
that way every four years, presumptivenominee taking over for Biden. Harris's absence,
the task would fall on the Senatepro Tem Patty Murray of Washington,
but Murray also refused to do so, and instead she's gonna Boycott well,

(22:47):
that's looking good for those for thatside of the aisle there and their pro
Israel stance. I said that tonguein cheek efforts made to reach Patty Murray's
office are unsuccessful. Like Cheatleton,no comment when the heat comes on you.
When Harris's office was asked if shewould have agreed to preside over nettan
Ya Who's addressed if she were goingto be in Washington, and Aid said

(23:10):
that would not answer hypothetical. Netand Yaho will be speaking to members of
Congress on the Joint Address on Wednesday, and so it's Patty Murray's protesting Kamala.
Harris says, I'm out of town. I can't be there. They
said, well would you? Wouldyou still precide if you weren't out of
town? Is that just an excuse? No comment, We don't comment on
hypotheticals. So definitely not trying tolock down the Jewish votes there by boycotting

(23:34):
that KAMA is using an excuse.Patty's just got Patty's got the courage to
call it a boycott, Kamala justcalling it a campaign event, previously scheduled
something to go. I got afun story. Can we give a fun
Are we allowed fun stories on theprogrammers? That is that offensive to someone?
As well? There was a rumorout there with the upcoming Olympics in

(23:56):
Paris to kickoff this Friday. Iguess that they there are stories that the
beds that they're providing that the athletesare made of cardboard and not durable,
and they did it that way becausethey didn't want to have sexual activity on
the beds. Well, evidently afew of these athletes are posting videos showing
that they are quite sturdy. Irishgymnasts Risks Reese mccleggan jumping, running,

(24:23):
body slamming, and even handstanding onhis bed to prove that his that his
bed is ready if any action occursthere. I don't know if they live
dormitory style and to have private rooms, I don't know. But evidently the
rumor was because remember there were athletessaying they were having to ship air conditioning
over because the French, you know, the women don't shave their pits,
they don't have air conditioning, getsa smelly place, all that stuff,

(24:45):
right, and so they were kindof people are shipping air conditioning to themselves
so they can have some fresh airin their room and not have to smell
the French people are whatever or whoeverstinks smelly athletes, right, they're shipping
their own air conditioning over because itwas not part of the Green New French
deal to have air conditioning in theathletic dorms. Well, evidently the rumor

(25:07):
was they were not going to havea real big the nice beds in case
any of the activities that became sexual, and evidently athletes are now going to
Twitter. I'll play the audio notof that activity, but of a gymnast
from Ireland proving that his bed isready for whatever action it may find after
the Olympic Games, or during theOlympic Games, or after his sporting given.

(25:27):
I think they. I think thetraditions you wait until after your events
are done and then you blow offsome steam if you will, maybe partied
up with some friends or other athletesor whatever. But yeah, I'll play
play that audio. But the bedsare not made of cardboard, just so
you know, in case you werewondering. I'm sure this athlete's a mom
is very thrilled to hear that he'stesting out the bed for proclivities after his

(25:52):
athletic event. All right, gladto have you here on the radio show.
Jimmy Lakey is my name. Hey, don't forget zero res of Northern
Colorados, who I used to cleanthe House of Laky for many years.

People spill things, kids running andout, dogs bring in messers.
Listen, it can be dirty.Go ahead and leave the cleanup to one

you as well. Zero resno coodedot com. I gotta take this break,
final break. I'll come back intoplay the Olympian, proving that his
bed at the Olympics in Paris isnot made of cardboard, so it's evidently

(27:03):
ready for some sleeping if it comesto that, on the on the bed
in the Athletic Center. I'll beback News Toxic hundred in case. He
well, all right, glad tohave you here. How's everybody doing?

(27:45):
Jimmy is my name. I hopeyou're doing well out there. I really
do. Uh. Tomorrow night,Joe Biden will address the nation after his
exit from the presidential race. That'llbe at six o'clock stern time, six
pm. Mark your calendar for thatand see what old Joe Biden has to
say. I gonna talk about whatthey say. This theme is gonna be

(28:08):
what lies ahead. Speaker Johnson onceagain doubling down and calling for the resignation
of Donald Trump, saying, listen, if you say you're not really fit
to run to run for reelection, are you really fit to be the president
right now? So anyway, there'sa lot of I mean, breaking news
everywhere represents Sheetel, miss Sheetel,Kim cheetles she just resigned about two hours

(28:32):
ago and no comment yet. TheWhite House issued a statement that Jill and
Joe are very sad in it.They thank her for her years of service,
but we wish her best in herfuture endeavors. Which you love those
memos you get him in the office. I know one day, you know,
I'm pushing ten years of employment forthe iHeart and one day I'll probably
be just a memo. We wishhim well in his future endeavors. It
happens to all of us, unlessyou own the company. One day,

(28:56):
they just wish you well in yourfuture endeavors. They don't mean it,
but that's what they say. Sothat's what they say, all right,
the cardboard beds. It's with allthe politics stuff, it's hard to believe
that the Olympics are about to beupon us. That's why the Democrat convention
is so far away from the Republicanconvention, because they had to pace for
the television series or the television space. They had the space for the Olympics.

(29:17):
So the Paris Olympics kick off thisFriday, and there's been stories about
Paris and how they're hosting it,and maybe they're not necessarily the best host
out there. Well, I've gotsome audio that evidently the Parisians were not
as bad as they thought athletes havingto ship in their own air conditioning units.
But they also did not put cardboardbed in. Suppose are they're going

(29:38):
to have cardboard beds so that youcouldn't be having a romp with a you
know, a celebratory romp in thesheets with your friends or coworkers or colleagues
or someone from another country, youknow, sexual tryst if you'll call it,
Well, I've got the audio I'llplay here just a moment, not
of a sexual tryst, but theaudio of a gymnast from Ireland testing to

(30:00):
see whether his uh, whether hishis bed was made for bouncing. That's
his boots were made for walking andhis beds were made for bounce it.
I've got the audio coming up herein just a moment. But first,
excuse me, still fighting that cold, have been fighting all week. And
that's first time I missed the callbutton throughout the morning. I've hit the

(30:21):

he's talking about him on the radio. All right, back to the story
here. The opening ceremonies of Parisare going to be this Friday night.
There's been stories that the beds providedfor the athletes were made of cardboard and
not going to be durable enough forthe possible sexual activity that happens allegedly in

(31:48):
Olympic village. Well, a fewpeople have now posted videos showing up it
works. It's quite sturdy. Here'sthe Irish gymnast Ris McClanahan jumping, running
and body slamming and even handstanding onhis bed to prove that his bed is
ready for the bouncing if it comesto that. So here's the audio.

(32:08):
I could play the video, butthis is radio so it doesn't work out
very well. But here's the audioof Rich McClanahan from Ireland telling you that
his bed is ready for him.His bet is ready for company, if
he can find some company. They'renot anti sex beds. I'm at the
Power's Olympic Games. And then onceagain have these cardboard empty sex beads.
When I tested them last time, they withstood my testing. Maybe I wasn't

(32:30):
rigorous enough to test. It's fakenews, he says, this big,
big news that his bed could handlea lot of jumping, running, body
slamming and even handstanding on there. You know, I'm maybe I'm not the

(32:52):
Olympic age anymore, but I don'tknow if I could keep up with jumping,
running, body slamming and handstanding onmy bed. That's a it's a
little bit much, a little bitmuch. But he tested it out and
it's safe for all those Olympic athletesand they got that testosterone flowing. And
yeah, I know you feel betterto know that in Paris, America's greatest

(33:16):
athletes are not going to have tosleep on anti sex beds. I know
that's big time news right there. And for that, I say you're welcome,
and hopefully I'll be back here tomorrowmorning. Good Lord willing the creeks
