Fulfilling Life Daily Devotional

Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman about living water, which was the Holy Spirit. A gift which is free to all those who accept it. Have you accepted it?

Jesus tells a parable of a woman in an unjust situation persistently going to an unjust judge until he takes action. How much more will God help us if we persist to Him in prayer!

When we ask God to use us for His glory, we then need to be obedient to what He tells us to do. We can't decide to we don't want to do it and do our own thing. We will flourish when we follow His path and not our own! 

When Jesus returns, everyone will bow their knee to him, whether they believe in Him or not. We either choose to know Him or not. These are the only two options.

Mary and Joseph were very faithful to God, travelling every year to Jerusalem for the Passover Festival with Jesus, as well as worshipping God daily. How often do you worship God and what example are you setting for your children? 

The Holy Spirit tells us that people will turn away from the faith. So we should not be surprised when this happens, but we will be sad because they are being deceived by evil spirits.

As Christians, we must live our lives amongst people, being happy with those who are happy and weeping with those who weep. Just like Jesus did.

God scattered the Israelites amongst the nations so that they knew that He is the Lord. Today, we know that He is Lord because He came down and lived amongst us.

The Israelites forgot about God, their Saviour, who had done great things before their eyes. We can all too quickly forget God, especially when things are good and we think we don't need him.

A servant girl pointed out Peter to the crowd as being one of Jesus' disciples. As followers of Christ expect to be pointed out as one of His followers, but don't do what Peter did and deny Him!

The writer of Hebrews explains in his letter that there is no more need for sacrifices to cleanse sins, Jesus has changed that all. It is something that we need to remember today as Christians and stop beating ourselves up about past mistakes.
