Our hosts, Dave and Mark, are two music obsessives who first met in 2008 at the community radio station RTRFM 92.1 in Perth, Western Australia. Bonding over a love of post punk and other alternative music genres, they soon began making music together and are still heavily involved in the city's fertile local music scene. They also like nothing more than a yarn about music, and their favourite (or not so favourite) bands. These conversations are often amusing, sometimes serious and occasionally, potentially libellous. Thus, the idea for this podcast was born. Each episode the lads choose a theme and each select five songs to explore the topic. The show is free flowing and so the facts are sometimes hazy and the chat can go in any direction. This is not your typical music show.
Butts, bums and arses, whatever you call them, we've all got one. We are all pretty fascinated by them, judging by the numbers of songs written about them. With mixed results. We choose five of them.

Its safe to say that us humans have always been curious about what exists beyond what we can see with our own eyes. By 1400 BCE, discovered Hindu texts show that we were already beginning to map the space around us. Astrology can be broadly considered the search for human meaning in the sky. It makes sense then, that artists, including musicians and film makers, have always found huge inspiration in the space around u...
