Our hosts, Dave and Mark, are two music obsessives who first met in 2008 at the community radio station RTRFM 92.1 in Perth, Western Australia. Bonding over a love of post punk and other alternative music genres, they soon began making music together and are still heavily involved in the city's fertile local music scene. They also like nothing more than a yarn about music, and their favourite (or not so favourite) bands. These conversations are often amusing, sometimes serious and occasionally, potentially libellous. Thus, the idea for this podcast was born. Each episode the lads choose a theme and each select five songs to explore the topic. The show is free flowing and so the facts are sometimes hazy and the chat can go in any direction. This is not your typical music show.
Five songs about those people that drive us crazy or seem to go out of their way to make our lives more difficult. Often self important and over confident, they seem to be everywhere and sometimes it feels like they are taking over.
