"הבה נסיר מן המוות את זרותו, הבה נדע אותו ונתרגל אליו", ביקש הפילוסוף הצרפתי מישל דה-מונטיין, ובסמסטר הבכורה של הקורס "מבוא ל" החלטנו להיענות לאתגר ולחקור את נושא המוות לעומקו. במהלך הסמסטר יפגש קובי מידן עם מיטב המומחים ויבקש להבין כיצד נראה המוות מבחינת הביולוגיה האנושית, אילו סוגיות אתיות עולות בנוגע למוות, באיזה אופן שונה תפיסת המוות בתרבויות שונות ומה מקומו של המוות בפסיכולוגיה, באמנות ובפילוסופיה. 17390
