Happy Summer everyone! Sam and Heather felt that with the state of things lately a horror film was the perfect way to celebrate our independence. This is Heather's last episode with us before her break but if all goes according to plan she'll be back mid August. 

Sam is joined by Zach this week as they discuss the film that won Best Musical at the Oscars. The songs don't make a lot of sense and the plot never really wraps up but apparently the world is ok with this movie beating out Wicked?!?! No, it was totally the right choice. 

Sam and Heather dive into the Rom-Com genre because who doesn't love to watch hot people fall in love? Do you prefer a hunk or a beefcake? A love for the ages or a casual fun time? These are just a few of the deep life questions to ponder this week.

Sam and Heather were feeling a bit witchy this week so they took a trip back to the 90's to one of the greatest witchy tales there is. As often happens, the 90's are a bit hard to swallow in some scenes so buckle up. Are you a Sarah or a Nancy? 

Sam and Heather somehow tumbled into the noir genre once again. This is a female driven story full of lots of action with a great cast, what's not to enjoy?  

Sam and Heather can barely get through this episode, sorry for all the giggles. Keeping it light for another week because spring makes us all a little giddy. Woof, sometimes these summaries are hard to come up with.............

Sam and Heather return to childhood in the early 90's with America's favorite pee wee hockey team. A group of hardened rascals are being coached by a damaged alcoholic how could it not lead to zany antics? Ok now everyone together- Quack....Quack.....Quack! 

Sam is joined this week by number one fan Dave, but you can call him Courtney's husband. As a first time guest Dave was responsible for the movie this week so buckle in for some historical silliness. 

Sam and Heather both agree that this movie is a total spook fest although Sam isn't quite sure she saw the whole thing. One thing is clear, don't piss off a witch. Oh and also human sacrifice is never ok

Sam and Heather return the world of YA book series made into movies. Although the Twilight Saga obviously has a special place in their hearts, this series is superior both in plot and what we see on the screen. Grab your tissues and get ready for a trip to Panem. 

Fun fact: this week's movie is single handedly responsible for this entire podcast! Snowpiercer is the first film that Sam and Heather obsessively discussed, dissected and dogged on solidifying their friendship and the eventual creation of this program. Buckle in friends, this one is a wild ride.
