The Antiques Radio Show is a monthly program about antiques and the decorative arts, presented by Jolyon Warwick James. It explores news, reviews, events objects and goings on in the world of things that are old, beautiful or both – whether valuable or not!

Antiques and artworks all have contexts. We look at some of the remarkable circumstances surrounding them – a perplexing mediaeval manuscript, a “padlock – shaped” silver watch stand, some bronze age axe heads (delivered to the door), a clock with a secret history, a small (very male) effigy, and a (once deemed offensive) vinyl disc. And a quiz question (vey inoffensive).
