A podcast where we talk about TV shows, movies, games and other pop culture things for awhile. Until something else shiny or new comes along and we go down that rabbit hole for a bit.
The boys get some good bonding time away from Moya and the girls by going to mental arts training camp. Oh, who are we kidding, this is Farscape we're talking about. While at "camp", Rygel almost gets brain damage, John gets stuck in a cage that's slowly heating up and D'Argo comes face to face with his wife's murderer, her brother Macton. Macton is going to prove to D'Argo that it was D'Argo who killed her in a fit of hyper-rage, ...
We get closer and closer to the end of the final Farscape season with a review of season 4, episode 14, Twice Shy. The crew is back in Tormented Space after the last couple of episodes on Earth. They pick up some star charts from some traders but also pick up what appears to be a woman used by the traders as a slave. And, as you have come to know Farscape by now, things never go well when the crew picks up strangers. Their new pass...
We finish our latest trilogy of Farscape episdoes with season 4, episode 13, Terra Firma. Earth finally finds out we're not alone in the universe. John Crichton and his father, Jack, argue over whether to share all the alien technology and information with the rest of the Earth or not. John is slow rolling how much the Earth military and scientists get to figure out. Even from his childhood friend and fellow Farscape Project member...
We finally get back to our journey through Farscape now that there's a lull in the new Marvel and Star Wars shows. We pick up with season 4, episode 12 - Kansas. We last left with a cliffhanger of Crichton floating in space above Earth, with only the hard way to get down. Spoiler, he does with a little help from his friends. Then he has to do his own version of Quantum Leap and Back to the Future to prevent his dad from joining the...
We finish our review of Star Wars: Andor with season 2 -- episodes 10 - 12. As we all guessed, this series ends right where the Rogue One movie starts. But before that, we tie up all the loose ends for the characters we've come to love over the last two seasons. We weren't really surprised at where they ended up for the most part. Although we do have some great ideas for future books or shows for some of them. K2-SO stole the show...
We continue going year by year through Star Wars: Andor with season 2 -- episodes 7 - 9. The plots and machinations building up all season are finally coming to fruition. It's action galore now as we head closer and closer to where Rogue One starts. The Empire finally takes control of Ghorman and puts down the rebels there. While we both saw that coming, we both did not see coming what happened to one of our main characters who's ...
After some real world delays and other things, we're back! We continue going year by year through Star Wars: Andor with chapter 2 -- episodes 4 - 6. We get the fun of seeing competing spies with both Syril and Cassian doing their best James Bond 007 impersonations on Ghorman. And our big action piece this time around is a heist gone mostly right, with deadly consequences we did not foresee. We get a lesson in art appreciation and a...
Eric and Jason move on from Marvel shows (see the last few podcasts) and on to Star Wars as Disney+ has started their epic flood of episodes for the second, and last, season of Star Wars: Andor. It's a good thing Disney+ released a recap of season one as it's been three years since that came out. Although that didn't help us remember most of the supporting characters names. Nor remember all the details around Mon Mothma's complicat...
This time around we wrap up season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again with episodes 7 - 9. We absolutely loved this series, as you can probably tell from our prior podcasts, and the ending of season 1 doesn't disappoint us. Anytime you combine two of the characters we love, Daredevil and The Punisher, what's not to love? We were a little sad that Muse didn't have more to do in this but we get more of Fisk and his grand plans for him and Va...
We continue through the amazing season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again with episodes 4 - 6. We're obviously still enjoying it as you might guess. And it only took almost 5 more episodes before we got to see Matt suit up in costume again. We guess you can only keep a hero down for so long before they have to finally take action. We discuss Fisk's ultimate motives being mayor and enjoy him trying to navigate his new politicial world. We c...
This time around we talk about the first third of the new Marvel Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, episodes 1 - 3. We both thought Daredevil was the best of the old Netflix Marvel shows and are very excited about ol' Hornhead being back for "season 4" on Disney+. Although we have some strong words to say about those opening scenes. And then we talk about where we think this season is going. What's Mayor Fisk really up to, who'...
First up in our ongoing watch of Farscape -- season 4, episode 11 - Unrealized Reality. Crichton gets sucked down a wormhole and meets another of the mysterious Ancients. This one explains everything you ever wanted to know about wormholes, and some stuff we bet Crichton didn't want to know. We loved all the alternate realities Crichton gets thrown into, which just keep getting more wild and wacky.
Then we finish the second half of...

Here's our "original" show notes for this episode. Enjoy and we'll see you soon with new episodes!
Eric and Jason close out season two of Farscape with a pair of episodes reviews an...
We're staying inside the Disney+ ecosystem this week. We wrap up season 1 of Agatha All Along, with episodes 7 - 9. Did we think they brought the season home on a good note, ready for whatever comes next? Mostly. Did Jason ever come to like any of the characters? Well... But overall, we did like it and we'll see if anything comes after it to continue where they leave us at the end of the Witches' Road.
Then we cover the first half ...
Next up through the final season of Farscape, we cover season 4, episode 10 - Coup by Clam. And yes, it is about a coup and by using clams. So, good on ya Farscape writer for making a very descriptive episode title. While orbiting a planet where they found some tech to help Moya survive Tormeted Space, the crew eat the aforementioned clams and become poisoned. It's all a shakedown plan by a doctor who will give them the cure in exc...
This time around Eric and Jason discuss Farscape season 4, episode 9 - A Prefect Murder. We both didn't think the different points of view story method worked on this one. We thought it would have been better off directed like a normal episode. But we did agree on the strongest plotline and the great John and Aeryn scenes.
Then we discuss the first 3 episodes of the latest Disney+ Marvel series, Agatha All Along. We liked the overa...

Eric and Jason review the first two parts of Farscape’s second ever three part storyline, "Liars, Guns and Money". And during all that, wander off on tangents about Star Wars, the ...
Welcome to the next episode of Farscape Flashbacks! Our reposting of our Farscape season one and two podcasts that we did on another podcasting network so you can more easily listen to them here.
Here's our "original" show notes for this episode. Enjoy!
Eric and Jason have been gone for a little while due to real life, but we’re back with two above average episodes to make up for it.
First up, The Ugly Truth, where Crais tries to ...
We're more than a third of the way through Farscape season 4. In this one, season 4, episode 8 - I Shrink, Therefore I Am, most of the crew have been captured by bounty hunters in really cool armor. And it's up to Crichton, with some assistance by our newly helpful crewmate Scorpius, to rescue them. To make things worse, the hunters shrink all the crew and keep them in containers inside their armor so that Crichton can't risk harmi...
This time around, we review Farscape season 4, episode 7 - John Quixote. Not that you would think of Don Quixote from practically anything in this episode... Anyway... Chiana pulls Crichton into a VR game that quickly goes off the rails. Apparently Stark has it out for Crichton because of Zhaan's death last season and has made up a VR game to trap Crichton and make him suffer. But things don't work out the way Stark probably wanted...
