Tempesta is back! Yay? Whatever, he rambles on about the America's Cup, and yes, even manages to talk about his dopey Hobie 33.

I had the chance to sail in the uber-competitive SDYC J/22  Beercan Series last night and man, was that fun, and humbling! 

20 teams sailed in two flights - silver and gold - we were in silver of course, but had a couple nice finishes and a couple I'd rather not talk about, but I will. Listen!

 Today Scot Tempesta talks to Alex Camet live from onboard the Swan 60 Good Call as they make their way down the coast of Southern California on the Newport to Ensenada Race. Super cool to have a chat from the water.

It looks pretty good until you realize Danny Devito couldn't stand up inside. What the hell is he thinking? Oh that's right, that's not his strong suit.

I did! I found another Columbia 30-2 for sale! Made an offer. Everything looked good. Until it wasn't.

I'm a loser. 

I have been looking for a very specific boat and model to purchase. And I found it! We struck a deal, I was excitedly going through the fun of naming it, and what graphics/paint colors to use, and picking the race schedule, and getting crew together and, and, and...

The deal got killed. The owners decided not to sell - boo! So I found a couple others. Join me in my misery...
