Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast AM
paranormal podcast network, where we offer you podcasts of the supernatural.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
And the unexplained.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Get ready now for Shades of the Afterlife with Sandra Champlain.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Welcome to our podcast. Please be aware the thoughts and
opinions expressed by the host are their thoughts and opinions
only and do not reflect those of iHeartMedia, iHeartRadio, Coast
to Coast AM, employees of Premiere Networks, or their sponsors
and associates. We would like to encourage you to do

(00:40):
your own research and discover the subject matter for yourself. Hi.
I'm Sandra Champlain. For over twenty five years, I've been
on a journey to prove the existence of life after death.
On each episode, we'll discuss the reasons we now know
that our loved ones have survived physical death, and so

(01:03):
will we. Welcome to Shades of the Afterlife. Back on
episode one hundred and ninety nine, you may remember me
talking about super fan Richard from Elkhart, Indiana. Richard listened
to all episodes of Shades of the Afterlife in just
forty five days. That blew my mind. Shortly thereafter, I

(01:26):
was on Coast to Coast talking to George Nori. A
caller called in and it was Richard from Elkhart, Indiana.
He bragged about Shades of the Afterlife and the difference
it made in his life, and it was so wonderful
to hear his voice. Now, since then, Richard has emailed

(01:47):
me with incredible news and what he's done this episode. Richard,
I am dedicating it to you. I want to share
his email. Dear Sandra, it was truly a pleasure to
speak with you a few weeks ago with my call
on Coast to Coast AM. The call was understandably short

(02:07):
due to the call in format, but nevertheless was still
a privilege to express my gratitude to you, as I've
shared with you. After listening to all two hundred plus episodes,
I went back and re listened to the sixty four
episodes that peaked my interest. I ended up with seventy

(02:27):
nine pages of handwritten notes from those episodes, and I
have condensed and summarized them. I broke the detail into
six categories. One the purposes of Earth life. Two first
arrival from Earth life back to the afterlife. Three conditions

(02:48):
of the afterlife, four personages in the afterlife, five places
in the afterlife, and six words of wisdom or thought
provoking states. All in all fourteen typed pages. I did
my very best not to influence my notes with my
own beliefs, but stayed strictly to what I heard expressed

(03:12):
in your various podcast episodes. The only work that's mine
is in categorizing and condensing the content of my notes
that I made while listening to your broadcasts. Although I
would love to have a message from my mom and
dad and other loved ones in the afterlife, I don't
have a yearning to make contact, as I am confident

(03:32):
of where they are now, that they are happy and
engaged and know of my well being. That's good enough
for me. So I don't have anything in my notes
about mediums or the various methods shared in your podcasts
on how to reach out to your loved ones in
the afterlife. My interests are focused on what it's like
in the afterlife and what the purpose of our human

(03:55):
experience is all about. I've attached a copy of each
topic in six separate files for you. It'll take a
while to read through, but since the meat and Potatoes
of the content are simply excerpts of your shows. I'm
hopeful that you will find it interesting. I know I did.
I wasn't exactly certain of what the turnout of each

(04:17):
topic would bring, but I kind of like how it
all flows into a feeling of continuity. Anyway, Thanks again
for Shades of the Afterlife. I'm hooked. Best regards, Richard
from Elkhart, Indiana. So, dear listeners, Richard has packed these
pages with so many wonderful things and has gone through

(04:38):
so much work and highlighted some of the best of
the best of this show that I thought today I'm
going to read Richard's notes to you. I think you
will be absolutely as delighted as I am, and there's
no sense me hanging on to these for myself when
I can share them with the world. We'll start off

(04:59):
with his number one page, The Purposes of Earth Life?
Why are we here on Earth? Is our existence here happenstance?
Or is there a purpose to this life? Our consciousness
existed before we were born. We lived as spirit beings
in an unconditional, love filled environment, surrounded in benevolent interactions

(05:23):
and in the presence of the divine or God. Or
the heavenly Father, or the Creator or the source of
all light and love. One of the greatest attributes we
had there was free will, which allowed us to choose
how we would continue to learn and progress. In order
to advance and grow in knowledge and further understanding, we

(05:45):
needed to leave the unconditional love environment and enter a
physical world where we'd face for the very first time
opposites things such as light and dark, health and sickness, play, measure,
and pain, positive and negative. In order to do this,
we needed a separation from the divine, to pass through

(06:08):
a veil of forgetfulness of the life we came from,
to receive a physical body that gave mobility to our soul,
to thereby experience opposites, to find our own course scattered
with pre assigned personal challenges that would best contribute to
our individual and spiritual growth. The fact remains there are

(06:31):
a number of essential experiences necessary for our progress that
cannot be obtained in the other side of life, including
life without unconditional love and acceptance, physical opposites, and the
physical five senses. We aren't meant to avoid pain, suffering, grief,

(06:53):
and other unpleasant extremes. Here these difficulties enhance our soul growth.
Earth life is an education for the soul and is
a temporary experience with regard to eternity. We didn't come
here to reach perfection. We came from perfection. Ours will

(07:13):
be the grand opportunity to return to it after our
Earth lessons are over. Earth life is the shortest part
of our journey, but gives us experience that can be
had in no other way. We planned and charted our
Earth life before coming here as to what we wanted
to accomplish from this physical experience. Our growth would require

(07:38):
certain life encounters to aid in the development of the
attributes we had the most interest in developing. We also
accepted assignments to fulfill some are for our own personal growth. However,
assignments were also designated in such a way as to
better influence or assist other spirit beings and their earthly education.

(08:03):
We clearly understood that this life would not be easy,
and we were eager for that challenge. The difficult parts
of what Earth life would bring was welcomed because it
would present us with advancement we could not gain there.
We anticipated unprecedented progress and growth experience. The greatest soul

(08:24):
growth comes through tough times and how we handle it.
Some spirits are so advanced that they are sent to
earth to very challenging situations so that their soul can
develop even further. Things we can do here love God
and love each other, and everything else will take care
of itself. Love is the purpose and foundation of everything.

(08:48):
The main focus is developing a love toward all mankind
and render acts of service that others will benefit from.
The best way we can build up the level of
love in the world is to simply love others and
do our best to help them feel a little bit
of heaven on earth. Learn the difference between appreciation and gratitude.

(09:10):
Remember that gratitude is a form of love and we
should express it often. Become a force for change and positivity.
Be more conscious of what you do or say to others.
Take advantage of offering positive service, and take the opportunity
to volunteer to lift the souls of others, particularly when

(09:32):
they are experiencing difficulty. Simply acknowledging a person is an
act of service, so smile, hold a door open, be kind,
Gain clarity of who you are and where you want
to go. We have the potential inside us to heal
our mind and body in that order if it's part

(09:54):
of your planned experience here. Each individual life has its
own unique purpose. We are to take advantage and enjoy
the gifts given to us from the divine. Seek to
uncover and fulfill the assignments that we choose or we're
given to fulfill. Meditation or pondering to seek guidance on

(10:16):
what we are learning, and simultaneously clearing our minds of
personal thought and opinion will allow spiritual teaching to flow
to us. Live our life with a spiritual view instead
of a selfish view. We are to practice forgiveness, including
self forgiveness, and to be patient and achieving our goals

(10:36):
and assignments. Don't let difficult situations cause you despair. It's
important not to lose focus on the fact that this
earth life is our own personal growth opportunity, and we
will succeed according to our own life path and not
compared to any other soul. It's important at times to

(10:57):
turn off the noise and distractions of the world and
tune into yourself. We all have a spark of the
Creator within each of us, and it's important to uncover
and understand it so that we can make ourself a
better person, live a good life, and improve on how
we live that life. It is said that everything we

(11:20):
experience here adds to God or the Creator, or the
divine experience too. This supports the religious concept. If you've
done it unto another, you've done it unto me. Live
a beautiful life. Now extend yourself to teach, learn, grow
and serve. Look for evidence of love around wherever you are.

(11:43):
The entirety of the earth life we live will not
be wasted, and every experience that contributed to our progress
and growth will be reviewed. Find balance during earth life?
Have I spent time with people I care for? What
kind of example have I set for those who I love?
And toward anyone I interact with? Be good and kind

(12:06):
to others, Leave others with smiles, not tears. Do what
makes you happy, but not at the expense of another.
Ego is the voice in our head that spins negatively.
Don't let that dominate your life path. Having an understanding
of what this life is all about and becoming familiar
with some aspects of the afterlife brings peace, calm, and stability,

(12:30):
and how we approach and react to situations in this
life knowing we don't really die. Take some level of
natural fear out of our attitudes about life's situations. We
don't die. We are not humans having an occasional spiritual experience,
but rather we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

(12:53):

The best afterlife information you can get. Well, you're on
love Shades of the Afterlife with Sander Champlain.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Welcome back to Shades of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain
and this episode is dedicated to our fellow listener, Richard,
who compiled notes from his favorite episodes of Shades of
the Afterlife. His next topic is called first arrivals, also
known as from earthlife back to the afterlife. What happens

(14:32):
when we first transition. We should not fear what we
traditionally refer to as death, since our consciousness returns to
the place it came from. A better description of death
can be referred to as an experience of transition. There
is evidence that death or transitioning is not painful at all.

(14:55):
One moment you're here in this earth realm, and the
next you enter the afterlife. It's like blinking an eye
or taking in the next breath. At the moment a
person experiences death, most don't realize they are even dead yet.
It is that seamless of an experience. Hospice workers have
reported that the elderly or those sick on a deathbed

(15:18):
may experience a burst of energy and clear cognitive thinking
several days or even just hours before death happens. These
patients often report seeing deceased relatives, sometimes having conversations with them.
It's also reported that when death is near, a spirit
may be permitted to leave the body days or hours

(15:41):
before death in order to avoid experiencing the bodily pain
being felt. Some of these conditional categories have been described
as visionary. Two to four weeks before death, they start
seeing deceased relatives, saying they are coming to get them soon.
These conversations seem to be clear, real, and comforting to

(16:05):
the patient. Rally or terminal lucidity. Very close to death,
they may receive a burst of energy, becoming more active
and conversational than they had been just days earlier. This
is a very common phenomena death stare and reach. The
patient will be staring at the top corner of the

(16:28):
room for extended periods, or reaching toward what they are seeing.
Most common reports are either parents, relatives, or angels that
they describe as seeing and telling them they're going on
a trip. Choosing the death moment this is self explanatory.

(16:48):
Sometimes they wait until those who have been traveling to
extend their goodbyes can arrive. Some choose to wait until
all have gathered at the bedside, and they comment something
like I'm tired and I'm going home now. Others wait
until everyone has left the room so that they can
go forward alone. When our spirit or consciousness leaves our

(17:12):
earthly body, most describe seeing the room or outside area
where it happened from an elevated vantage point, often near
the ceiling of the room or a few feet above
the ground. If outside, if for example, we are in
a hospital operating room, we see the setting, including everything
in the room like furniture, a clock on the wall,

(17:35):
and hospital doctors and nurses working on a patient. If outside,
at the scene of an automobile accident, we may be
a few feet above the ground observing the incident in
any associated commotion. There comes a moment when we realize
the body we are looking at is our own, the

(17:56):
body that gave our consciousness mobility during our earth life.
At this point, we become keenly aware that the body
isn't me and that we aren't really a part of it.
We recognize we don't have our human body any longer,
but we still feel like we do. Thoughts of I
must be dead start to come to mind. We recognize

(18:19):
that we no longer feel pain or weight of our body.
We have no anxiousness or feelings of worry. We realize
we can hear and understand other people's thoughts that are
in the space we are observing. We feel free at
will to move around and discover that we can drift

(18:40):
through walls and ceilings and down hallways or into other
rooms if we want to. The sense of time dissipates.
All troubles we once faced are gone from our concern.
At some point, most describe seeing a pinprick of light
that seems to be at the end of an expansive
hallway or tunnel that captures our attention, a sensation that

(19:04):
you're moving toward the light and away from earth life
at a high rate of speed envelopes you. The faster
you go, the wider and brighter the light becomes, until
you have a sense of oneness with the light. The
light has a distinction of not being recognized as bright,
but rather as extremely white, and it emanates a pure,

(19:26):
blissful love. At this point, we are generally greeted by
either a spouse or a close relative who preceded us
in death, or a spirit guide to help usher us
into the afterlife. Nobody goes through this experience alone. In
some instances, many loved ones and close friends are there
with you at your arrival. There can be other spirit

(19:49):
beings there to greet you as well, including our favorite
pets we had in life. We feel unconditional love and
a full acceptance sweeps over our being being. The incomprehensible
level of love is undeniable, filling us with a peace
and calm and dissolving any feelings of worry or anxiousness.

(20:12):
A complete feeling of being home or returning to a
familiar place where you truly belong is experienced. Many voices
cheer for us, and a party like atmosphere is held
as all are there to celebrate your arrival. We begin
to acclimate there at a pace that suits us, comparable

(20:33):
to when people go on vacation. Some will want to
go out immediately and explore, while others will want to
rest first and pause to consider what they want to
explore first. It's the same in the afterlife. Everyone experiences
it at their own pace. When first arriving, a period
might be required to adjust to the perception of all

(20:55):
things there. It is planned that way to make things
feel familiar comfortable When we cross the veil of forgetfulness
and begin to have past memories. Restored. Memories and wisdom
gained from your earth life experiences are the only things
to take back with you into the afterlife. Additional knowledge

(21:16):
you never knew you had instantly comes to your consciousness,
and many previously unanswered questions are instantly known. Regarding those
who commit suicide, they arrive at the very same place
everyone else does. They have the same feelings of unconditional love,
feel welcome and accepted, are greeted by loved ones or

(21:39):
spirit guides, and they experience relief from the pains and
burdens of earth life. They are not banished nor condemned.
No spirit being ever gets stuck between earth life and
the afterlife. Those who end their own lives realize that
they cut their life experience short and may regret losing

(22:01):
the extra earth lessons and experiences and growth that could
have been theirs if they had chosen a different course
and not ended their life early. Soon upon arrival, a
life review is conducted where every experience from birth to
death is considered, with the added aspect that you review

(22:22):
much of this in feeling, the emotions and reactions others
had toward what you did, and you see the ripple
effect of your actions and the words you had on others.
This experience is dominated in the sense of love and
learning and is not a judgment. It is a way
to assess what degree you achieved the purposes and goals

(22:45):
you desired to accomplish through the earth life experience you chose.
The afterlife location is not a heaven beyond the clouds,
but rather as part of our current surroundings. Energy cannot
be destroyed, and just like we cannot see in visible
waves of television or radio signals, we cannot see the afterlife.
Yet it is very real. The afterlife is part of

(23:08):
our world and we are part of it, just vibrating
on a different frequency. And one day, when we leave
our bodies, we'll be able to experience this heaven on earth.
The love and acceptance felt in the afterlife is the
truest of emotions. Where we communicate with thought, all will
rejoice at your arrival, and we'll all work as one

(23:31):
in peace and harmony. Our next topic is conditions in
the afterlife. Virtually everything around us in the afterlife will
feel the same as this life, except with enhanced perceptions.
Everything will have a very familiar feel to it, and
will experience a sense of belonging. In fact, life there

(23:53):
has been described as more real than Earth life, making
this place seem more like illusion or a dream. An
ever present expression of love, peace, and acceptance washes over you.
You will experience the feeling of returning home when you arrive,
and not feel out of place in any way. Our

(24:15):
consciousness is separate from the human brain, and so the
same personality that others knew you by on Earth remains
part of your personality in the next life. At home,
we all experience the brilliance of light and its uniqueness,
but rather than shining on us, it comes outward from everything,

(24:38):
and we come to realize that we have become part
of this universal light. From about the Earth's era of
the nineteen sixties to present day, the energy of the
Earth has shifted and wiser, more experienced souls have received
their assignment to experience Earth life. The after life life

(25:00):
is anything but boring. It will not be like a
long drawn out church service, but will be filled with
endless activity of learning and pleasures in a benevolent, loving atmosphere.
Human words do not have the proper vocabulary to adequately
describe the wonder and bliss of the afterlife. Time is

(25:22):
an earthly concept and is not existence in the afterlife,
and time has no value there. Past, present, and future
are all one and the same, making every measure only
in the present. Every experience is recorded in memory, and
we can step into any memory to absorb the lessons

(25:43):
held there. In earth life. We may describe that as
entering into the past. However, we simply step into a
present memory. We don't measure ourselves by age, only by progress,
experience and learning. Space is unlimited. Even when it's the
uncountable number of souls there, it does not seem crowded

(26:04):
or cramped. Our growth and progress are not measured in
a linear way and never compared to any other soul's growth.
There's more when we get back. You're listening to Shades
of the Afterlife on the iHeartRadio and Coast to Coast

Hey everyone, it's the Wizard of Weird Joshua pe Warren
and now here's more Shades of the Afterlife.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Welcome back to Shades of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain
and I'm rejoicing that I get to share with you
these precious words. Compiled from fellow listener Richard. His next
topic is visual colors are more vibrant and vivid than
they are here, and there are colors that do not
exist in earthlife. Because we don't have the limitations of

(27:55):
a human body, our vision expands to a full three
hundred and sixty degree panorama and not limited to looking
straight ahead with some peripheral vision. As we experience now,
vision is extremely clear and we can zero in to
focus on the very details of anything with high definition,

(28:15):
hearing is acute, music is plentiful, and the sound is enhanced.
There are beautiful sounds that are not perceptible here on Earth.
Concerts and choir performances are plentiful to attend. Pleasant music
or other sounds emanate from various sources, even down to
blades of grass and flowers, offering joyous sounds. Our existence

(28:39):
in the afterlife is strictly mental, yet a reflection through
memory of how physicality of our Earth life is felt.
Consciousness creates matter and not the other way around. The
way energy moves creates the image of matter. Our energy
vibrations in the afterlife are higher and more refined mind

(29:00):
than the vibratory rate on Earth. The etheric world and
all substance there are at different vibration levels than those
of physical matter in Earth life. This accommodates different dimensions
of reality to occupy the same space. Also, each spirit
has their own frequency or vibration, similar to a fingerprint,

(29:21):
which is unique to you alone. Depending on the individual
level of progress, some may be invisible or unperceived by
others of lesser vibration. Those of higher progress can alter
their vibration to match the level of those who haven't
progressed so far. Those of higher progress can alter their

(29:43):
vibration to match the vibration level of those who haven't
progressed as far, allowing them to be seen and to associate.
It seems our consciousness can be in more than one
place at a time, split between learning in a class
and simultan paneously in separate interaction elsewhere. The five senses

(30:04):
are richer there, as they are experienced through memory and
not by physicality. Surroundings are all conditional by thought or imagination.
Physics and geography are all similar to Earth life. Buildings
are plentiful and unique, and there are streets and walkways.
There is foliage, flowers, trees, rivers, lakes, meadows, mountains and beaches.

(30:30):
We can choose the surroundings and nature that we want
to be in. We simply think about it, and we
are there. There are plant species in the afterlife that
don't exist here. The aroma of the flowers is beautifully
intense and include an extreme feeling of love as you
smell them. It's reported that even the plant life there

(30:52):
can issue pleasant audible sounds like music. Vegetation doesn't decay
or rot, but instead de material realizes and reforms. The
birds and animals are amazing, including species we never encountered
on Earth. Light does not come from an outside source
to shine on things, but rather the source of light

(31:14):
is within all things, and therefore comes out of everything
to provide light. Therefore, since light does not shine from
an outward source, shadows are not cast nor seen. There
is no night in the afterlife unless we want to
create it. You can create anything with your imagination in

(31:35):
the afterlife. For example, there really isn't food there. However,
we can eat and drink, but we don't need to
do it. The activity of eating and drink there is
experienced by recalling our memory of how we experienced it
here on Earth. We can imagine a meal before us,
see it, smell it, taste it, eat and swallow, and

(31:59):
feel satisfied it. Yet it is only with your mind.
It's as real to you and your imagination as it
felt real here on Earth. We can sleep there if
we feel like it. However, sleep is not necessary like
it is for a human body. Recreation, hobbies and other
enjoyment activities are plentiful. It will seem like a lot

(32:22):
of fun there with music, games, parties, concerts, and the like.
We are busy attending classes and learning. When learning and studying,
you can either go to the halls of learning some
refer to it as the Akashak records, and anything you
want to know is available to you. It's also reported
that some simply have to think of a topic or

(32:45):
an idea, and all knowledge of that subject will fill
your mind and allow you to explore the parts that
are of interest to you. We can express our talents
there and develop new talents and abilities. Our activity is
filled with service, labors of love, education, learning, teaching, giving

(33:07):
and receiving instruction. Souls can hug each other there, and
some describe an afterlife that hugs feel much better of
that of our earthly intimacy. All communication is telepathic. We
do not need to speak as we do now. Rather,
our conversations are all via thought, even including the deepest

(33:30):
understanding of intention of thoughts and explanations, so that misunderstandings
just do not exist. There are no language barriers, as
there is only one common language. However, you can converse
in your Earth language if you desire, but it isn't necessary.
If you hear any Earth language being used there, you

(33:51):
will understand it. As thoughts, including the meaning of your thoughts,
and they are telepathically shared. Thoughts cannot be hidden as all.
All thoughts are commonly shared, and there are no problems
or drama in the afterlife. Sometimes decisions are made by
a council of spirits, and their decisions are always accepted.

(34:12):
Whenever you discuss anything with another soul, you always learn
something new. There are some occasions when a person from
Earth life is permitted to temporarily visit the afterlife and
sometimes interact with relatives or spirit guides. They are advised
this visit is temporary and will need to return to

(34:32):
their body to complete their Earth mission. In this scenario,
they are generally segregated from their departed loved ones by
a beautiful river. It's perceived as a place of learning,
mostly for the visitor to see they're dearly departed on
the other side, being happy and vibrant, alive and loving.

(34:53):
They usually won't cross the river during this temporary visit
to greet their loved ones up close. Individual ego does
not exist in the afterlife. We won't care about old
family secrets, judges, past family rifts, or other former hidden agendas.
There's no negativity at all, only overwhelming love. It is

(35:15):
undeniable that all aspects of the afterlife are more fulfilling
in every way when compared with Earth life. Feelings, intentions,
emotions are always clearly understood, and each soul is always
engaged on focusing to only do good. Our beliefs that
we brought with us from earthlife continue in our personality

(35:39):
in our life in the afterlife, but we are free
to make choices and alter our course as we integrate
with all the undeniable truth. We never feel depressed or distraught,
but we can experience regret for not taking advantage of
certain experiences during our earth life because we allowed other
distracts to take priority during our allotted time in our

(36:04):
human experience. However, all pain, sickness, and discomfort is gone.
All matter we experience in the afterlife is made of
light energy. We can have personal possessions there, but we
won't have many, as there really is no need for
extensive personal possessions. We can have a home, and many do. However,

(36:28):
the home is created via our thoughts and what we
want it to be, and is not an actual brick
and mortar building like we have here. The condition of
our persons. Being clothed is ingrained into each soul. Nobody
would ever consider being unclothed. There clothing is unlimited in
style and fashion. However, most adopt the comfort of a

(36:52):
simple tunic style garment, but it is not uncommon to
see a soul present himself or herself in clothing from
the era and or culture of the period they experienced
in earth life. There is no need for money or
currency exchange, as all things are shared in common and

(37:12):
everything is valued simply by gratitude and love. We will
all experience a life review, and it's not something we
should fear, but rather look forward to. This event usually
happens soon after your arrival to the afterlife. Every experience
you had in earth life, from the moment of birth
to the moment of death, will be reviewed. Nothing will

(37:35):
be skipped over. There is some description of it being
like a hologram that you can step into. It is
not done in any way to present prose or con
evidence in judgment over you, but rather reviewed in love,
with the intention to understand what was learned from going
through every experience. An amazing part of the life review

(37:57):
is we also view the experience of our life from
the perspective of the other people we interacted with, as
if in a second person point of view. We feel
how others reacted to our actions, how they felt about
our interactions with them, and are given an insight into
the ripple effect our action had in their life and

(38:20):
in the lives of others beyond. We also have the
ability to study hypothetical situations that did not occur to
see what would have happened if we made different decisions
and had taken that course instead. Much of the review
is to solidify what lessons we learned, what we accomplished,
what wisdom and growth was gained. It helps clarify the

(38:42):
benefits and detriments how each life experience affected us. We
will be able to use this as a solid foundation
and upcoming efforts toward further progress and growth. A Council
of wise beings also review the life we've just lived
on Earth. They are a collective of advanced teachers that
love us, and they will talk to us about the

(39:04):
life we lived. They will ask questions and gentle ways
about what we think are our successes and failures. We
will not experience sadness or discouragement, but will rejoice and
understanding how each experience has contributed to our growth. Coming
up next, we'll discover what age we will probably choose

(39:25):
in the afterlife, along with our ability to see what's
happening back home on Earth. We'll be right back. You're

Now here's more. Sandra on the iHeartRadio and Coast to
Ghost AM Paranormal podcast Network.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Welcome back to Shades of the Afterlife. I'm Sandra Champlain
and let's all send Richard from Elkhart, Indiana some love
for compiling these notes from Shades of the Afterlife. Next,
he says, souls in the afterlife can choose whatever appearance
they want, but generally most choose to appear in their

(41:45):
late twenties or early thirties. One noticeable difference is their
eyes are filled with light and wisdom. A person who
is elderly when they pass may look that way initially
as they enter the afterlife, but generally trans position soon
to the young adult or prime of their life image.
There is no sickness, deformity, disability, or other similar issues

(42:09):
that can be associated with an earth body. All exude
an image of healthy, youthful energy. People walk and move
freely in the afterlife. Transportation is similar to Earth, but
it is not necessary. If you want to visit a
place or visit with another person, all you have to
do is think about it and you are instantly moved there.

(42:31):
We generally each have at least one assigned spirit guide
that will approach us and introduce themselves. As such, they
may have observed and been there for us during our
Earth life as a direct assignment. The spirits that are
there to help you are benevolent and will never deceive you.

(42:51):
All souls are interconnected, acting in unison as in one purpose,
yet all maintain their individuality. Like a rug is made
from thousands of individual threads, so we maintain our individuality
within the collective unity of purpose. Those who have lost
babies or children during Earth life can have the experience

(43:13):
and be with them at any age and assist in
raising and teaching them. In the afterlife. We can go
through the motions of playing sports or exercise, but we
never tire out or wear out, or get hurt or injured.
We are fully aware of our loved ones who are
still on earth. We're aware of their situations, their triumphs,

(43:36):
and challenges, and we can send influence to them, all
the while being busy in our spirit life and preoccupied
with our new life. There those in the afterlife will
never be peeping toms towards those still on earth. They
have the ability to be with you and witness portions
of your life, but they exclude themselves from private moments

(43:59):
like baba intimacy and so forth, extending complete personal privacy
and respect. They express no judgment in observing the choices
we engage in, and they will try to inspire or
prod us toward doing the right thing when occasion permits.
There are recreational venues for us in the afterlife, such

(44:20):
as stadiums, music concerts. There seems to be abundant green
meadows with flowers. There are places for our animal friends
to gather and associate when they're not associating with us.
Rivers glisten the way light hits a diamond. There are
colorful pathways landscaped with flowers that have a visually exploding vibrance,

(44:45):
including colors we've never seen in our earthly experience. As
you climb a hill to overlook the meadows below, everything
appears to sparkle. We share our space with the animal kingdom,
with butterflies, hearing the singing of birds. All we have
to do is select in our mind the scenery that

(45:05):
suits our mood. Whatever environment we want to be in
and who we wish to be surrounded by, we will
instantly find ourselves there. Some describe the afterlife as paradise.
The significant places are beautiful buildings constructed of material like
fine marble, with decorative fronts, as seen in the magnificence

(45:27):
of the Greek Parthenon a Roman Colisseum architecture. Again, there
are no light fixtures, as light as part of everything.
The arrival orientation center has a corridor as long as
you can see, with unlimited entry doors that serve as
countless tunnels or hallways, emptying into the corridor where first

(45:49):
arrivals come to be introduced to this new phase of
their existence. At the opening of each doorway, our marble
tables and marble benches and staffed with escorts guides to
sit and consult with new arrivals and give them instructions.
It seems that some or all of the forgetfulness veil
that has shielded our earth minds from memories of this

(46:12):
pre life are restored at this time. Most arrive here
in the image of the age they were at death,
and during this orientation most convert to their more comfortable
appearance and age after orientation. Just outside of this building
is a green grassy area where loved ones and pets

(46:32):
are there to greet and embrace you. The Halls of
Learning could be described as the grandest library ever imagined.
Scrolls of documents, books, audio visual records are accessible in
the quest for expanding one's mind and personal progress. The
Hall of Records has many volunteers there to help us

(46:53):
in our learning process. These assistants and teachers will appear
when we have questions on any topic studying and will
provide answers and further resources as needed. No topic is
off limits. You have free access to the limitless rows
of all information and all of history. All knowledge of

(47:14):
every act, and every thought experienced are recorded there. In
order to access the subject, all you have to do
is think of what you want to learn or know about,
and you are instantly brought to those records. You can
view on something that resembles a flat video screen any
occurrence that happened on Earth, but not only see and

(47:35):
hear it. You can go into the experience as though
you are there at the moment it happened to gain
a first hand account of anything to be learned from it.
You'll see the sites, hear the sounds, smell, fragrances and
or odors of the experience, but only as an observer.
You don't participate and so cannot affect the outcome. Of course,

(47:59):
there's all so the Life Review theater a planetarium where
you can learn about the Earth, the universe, and galaxies,
and provide knowledge that is not comprehensible in the limits
of our current human mind. Last, I want to share
with you some words of wisdom from Shades of the afterlife.

(48:19):
We aren't human beings having spiritual experiences. We are spiritual
beings having a human experience. It's not so much what
you do, but why you do it that matters. What
things can we do now during this life to reduce
the regrets we will feel during the life review. Just
be yourself and live your life purposely. If you're breathing,

(48:44):
you're leaving. The number one cause of death is birth.
Life after death is a glorious homecoming. We don't go
someplace else. We simply go home. When our cell phone
reaches a low battery status, we rush to plug in.
We should give the same attention to plugging in our
soul through prayer, meditation, quieting the mind, and listening for

(49:08):
prompts from our loved ones and spirit guides. We often
hear don't just sit there, do something? How about don't
just do something? Sit there? Remember every breath is precious.
Don't hold on to guilt about things from your past.
Learn to let go, make peace with who you are.
Learn how to slow down and make efforts to relax.

(49:31):
Two traits to wake up your soul. One exercise gratitude.
Keep a journal by your bed and write down ten
things that you are grateful for daily. Two, sit in
the power. Imagine a light in your belly beginning to
shine through all of your pores. Then imagine a divine
light like the light of the sun, blending with our light.

(49:54):
Sit in that space and allow the mind chatter to stop.
Don't be afraid of restraining yourself or sharing your testimony
or conviction of belief in the afterlife. Knowledge of the
afterlife helps us live a good life. Now, you chose
to come to this earth and simply forgot about our
pre earth life. You are never alone and you are

(50:16):
divinely loved. Are you accomplishing what you came here to experience?
Our life's purposes are in front of us every day.
It doesn't have to be the magnitude of saving the world,
but can be as simple as hugging a child, giving
a stranger a smile or compliment, sharing wisdom and advice,
doing acts of service and kindness. Look at each person

(50:40):
as a divine soul. Eight things to remember when going
through tough times. One everything can and will change. Two
you've overcome challenges before. Three it's all a learning experience.
Four not getting what you want can sometimes be a blessing.

(51:00):
Five Allow yourself to have some fun. Six Being kind
to yourself is the very best medicine. Seven other people's
negativity isn't worth worrying about. Eight there is always, always,
always something to be thankful for. More words of wisdom.

(51:20):
Instead of fearing death, savor life. Ask yourself, have I
spent time with the people I care for Science doesn't
know how brain cells generate thoughts, but through various testing
and trials, it seems the gamma state of brain waves
are where we can reach the other side. Life is

(51:41):
a never ending journey, not a destination. We feel grief
in this life because we have experienced true love. Ego
is the voice in our head that spins negativity. We
don't have to listen to it. Life is a stage.
What role are you going to play? Comparison is the

(52:02):
thief of joy? Pablo Picasso said, inspiration does exist, but
it must find you working, or, as Sandra says, divine
help kicks in only when we are in action. As
we approach the end of our time together today, I
am so humbled and grateful for the work Richard has done,

(52:24):
first listening to every single episode, making notes, then replaying
the sixty four episodes that really hit home with him,
then making a list of notes, then typing them out.
So I think you can agree how important these words
are and it was worth dedicating an entire episode. So
thank you, Richard. Sometimes it seems impossible to think that

(52:46):
there's a wonderful place called the before life or the afterlife.
What if our world here is designed based on our
life before we even got here, that this truly is
heaven on Earth. Remember, all we are is invisible, vibrating
energy down to our core. Don't forget. Come visit me
