Snapshots from the 20th century” is a three-part audio story that takes us inside the exhibition: “Chronorama. Photographic treasures from the 20th century.” Opening on 12 March at Palazzo Grassi, Venice. The exhibition consists of over 400 photos from the Condé Nast archive, some of which were recently acquired by the Pinault Collection. The narration invites the listener to focus on some of these images and portraits: Jean Cocteau; David Niven; Susan Sontag; Federico Fellini and Giulietta Masina; the Beatles; Arnold Schwarzenegger; as well as less celebrated figures such as Dr. Mary Walker and Björn Andrésen.
