Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Scrub dub dub in the tub, tub tub.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
That was so good. You should have like a Christmas
jingle like.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Like what scrub a scrub dub scrub dumb perfect honestly
off the cuff.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
That was pretty good, okable more than that good.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Right before we started the podcast, Anya like gives me
a look to look at my phone and I was like,
oh no, what is she gonna text me privately? And
it just says I love you show cut. Yeah, it
is cute. It just funny timing.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
You know, it's never a bad time to say I
love you exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yes, I agree.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
And if there's anything we need right now, it's just love.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
The world needs now is love?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Sweet love? What do you say your love?

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Pure love?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Love?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Both sentiments are equally accurate.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah, you know, like, yo, there was some good harmony
in there. I have to say, really nice.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Yeah, we've been rehearsing.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, it's pretty how's it going. How are you doing?

Speaker 6 (01:39):
I'm doing just fine? How are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I'm good? Why? Just fine?

Speaker 6 (01:44):
Just dandy?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Why the time of year, where like just like lots
of plates spinning in the air, you know, just like
spinning this one one.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Let's talk about it.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Wrapping up the work here, you know, get that wrapped up.
So once that plate stops spinning, then that plate can
be put down. Christmas Hanukah gifts, spinning, organizing the day
because we're hosting this year.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Oh wow, like you're hosting the whole fam. Yeah, on
Christmas Day.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Well, Christmas and Honkah happen to fallow the same day
this year. Oh so it feels extra Wow, radigar vibes.
You know, it's giving, it's giving radigar. So we took
it upon ourselves.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
So I know, you're just itching to host itching so the.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Way every fifteen years roughly, that's crazy Christmas overlap.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
That's crazy. So cool.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Right after y'all get a very important document.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yes, we're getting our marriage license tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Wow, that means that's what makes it like legal, right,
like the wedding is.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
So we're just picking it up tomorrow, which apparently isn't
the part that makes it legal. We're just we both
have to be present to pick it up. So we
pick it up. But then once it's like sign sealed, delivered,
then it's official. So on your own no, no, no,
I think we're gonna do it at the courthouse, which
I might need you to take photos of me.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah, I need you to work, come be responsible for
getting the shot. Yeah, okay, we'll talk about that.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
It's just a little courthouse thing. It's just like quick,
little totally Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
Just a little john down at the courthouse.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah. That's like the legal binding part of a marriage though, right,
Like the wedding is just simply for show, well a celebration.
You're doing it for like with your friends day, right.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
But that's not like that.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah, right, Like that's not what's gonna be like.

Speaker 6 (03:45):
Just because it's out of the country.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I don't understand in the country.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Now, why do you need someone who's ordained if you're
already married when you sign the documents?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
So funny you say that, I don't think that you do. Really, yeah,
I don't think that you do. I think you need
someone ordained it are going to sign your marriage certificate, right,
But I don't think you need someone ordained if they
are not going to sign your marriage.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
So when you take it to the courthouse, someone there
will someone who is ordained, that is there, will sign
the marriage certificate IMST like a notary public.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I think we're still deciding if we're going to do
that or if if there is a way to actually
have like the the Mexico one be legit. Still trying
to figure it out.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
But isn't Ryan officiating? Yeah, and he has ordained yes,
would he count on the on the marriage certificate, Yes.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
He would go. But there's something different when you take
when you do it out of the country that I'm
not quite sure the legality. There's a lot of steps
involved with these things.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah, got to really read the fine print.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I was just for getting your marriage license. You have
to like put I was like putting it says asked
for your parents maiden names and stuff. I put my
mom's married last name and then realized that was wrong.
So I had to go back and chat you know
what I mean?

Speaker 6 (04:58):
Oh, I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, I mean feels like I mean that would be
medical documents too. You need the right.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Names, maiden names of my mother and when she was
born and where.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
I think everyone knows that, don't they That's not common knowledge?

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Well I know, but why does the court need to
know that I'm getting married, not my mom.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
By the way, do you know my mother's maiden name?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Because it is? It is relevant? Oh my life?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Yes, your mom?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Oh time you might remember.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I have no idea, so this will be a guess.
Can you can tell me what starts with?

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Okay, that's it.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Wow. My mother's maiden name is Kiss. Because of that,
we had some friends who lived in California. I grew
up in Wisconsin, and so she brought me a one
oh two point seven Kiss FM bumper sticker. Because my
mother's maiden name is Kiss. Look, there's a Kiss FM.
And now I've been working at Kiss FM by years.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
That's kind of wild.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
And what was the name of your first pet? You're
just trying to get into your email?

Speaker 6 (06:02):
Spelled k I, I asked.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
And by the way, they also know it was This
is the end of the weeds. It was changed at
Ellis Island when her ancestors came to America. But no
one knows why the word kiss was chosen as a
last name, because it's like Apotovski or something. When they
got here and it changed a kiss, and no one
knows why. And I wonder if there was you know,
some shadiness, right, yeah, right, maybe there was some kissing

(06:28):
to kind of breach the wheels.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
That's interesting. Well, I feel excited that I got that right.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
You did. Very impressive.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Thank you had it.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Speaking of Ryan, you went to a Wheel of Fortune
like a life tap being. Did we already talk about
the scrubber whose husband went on? No, because this was epic.
It's so epic because you tell the story, because he shouted.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
You out, yes, but because it was because Ryan hosts
spoiler alert, Wheel of Fortune. He's the new host going
on in September.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Oh my god, I have the audio after you set
it up. I have the audio from Wheel of Fortune.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Okay, So this scrubs bind a I know his name
is Jared. He went on as a contestant and his
wife is a huge scrubber and she listens to Kiss FM,
and so she was like, you have to shout her
out when you're talking to him.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yes, correct, Didy'll get to know you.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Yeah, yeah, it is.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
You also are a big fan of a woman that
works with me on Kiss FM in the Morning's here
in La Who is a podcast that.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Is true so again, my wife would kill me if
I didn't take the chance to do this.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
So she is a huge Tanya rad fan and she
wanted me to let you know that so you can
say hello to her.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
For well, I can hear Tanya screaming. Now she's not nearby,
but I know she's screaming right now. Thank you for
the fan ship, she says.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I'm sure, thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
But the cold part was that at the end when
they were saying goodbye.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, thanks for scrubbing in podcast.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yeah, there, that was such a good plug.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yeah. I was like, do people know what he's referencing?
We don't know, but that's okay.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Don't know. Somebody did a little Google search while they
were did a quick little Google numbers of skyrockets rocketed.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
That was really fun though.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
It was so fun. That was like iconic.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Well, I don't know, I think I told you this,
but one of the main producers of the show is
a huge scrubber.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yes, yes, but so you went. Is that why you
went to the show?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
That's yeah, yeah, yeah, that's why I hit her up
because he was He's got so much going on the
last thing he needs is me being like, ha, excuse me?
Going to get my party of eight into Fortune. True,
But one of our kid's best friends moms is like obsessed.
She's like been obsessed with of fortune since she was
like a kid. Yeah, and she's like one of those

(09:09):
moms that like really steps up, Like she always like
whenever we can't pick them up from something, she'll take
her take them to her house and we'll pick her
pick them up from there. You know, like one of
those moms. And so I really wanted to do something
nice for her, and so she was like she was
so happy.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Did y'all get to say hey to Ryan? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
It was really cool.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
And they have like a little museum on the lot
and there's like a Breaking Bad section and you know
how obsessing with breaking bad so that I know. And
they have the air stream where they like make the drugs,
but I didn't go to it.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
You didn't make drugs.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
We did not go to the air stream with because
we had the kids with us.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Well, let's give a shout to Jared and Taylor Collier.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
So low, I know, way to put scrubbing in on
the national nationally syndicated television map.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Like I'm literally thinking, was my grandma like, what did
my grandma have it on?

Speaker 4 (10:13):
And say that?

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Did you even realize that that was a reference to me?

Speaker 6 (10:18):
You maybe to ask, but you had a busy weekend.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I did have a busy. Did I have a busy?
It was mixed.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
You went to like a gala Gaelic.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I did, but that was just one day.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
Well that's a lot.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah, you know, getting dressed up like that as a
whole process.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
The whole process is it.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Starts early and it ends like green face and no, no,
but actually you know what, I'm going to the Sonic
premiere tonight, the Sonic the Hedgehog premiere. No You're not.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Why are you doing that?

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Because I'm going with Okay, So the girls that that
you met Avanti.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Yeah, cutest thing ever ever.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
The girls. There's three girls that work the Paramount like
social stuff, and I'm obsessed with them. I've gotten to
do so many fun things because they invite me. And
I'm always like how did they invite me? Because it's always
these like really relevant popular TikTokers. It's me and I'm
like they're like twenty year old and I'm just like hey,
like I'm like the audio it's like hung out dude.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
But you know into Clare we have a fam yes.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah, a moment of silence in the we all found exactly.
So anyways, I'm going with for that and so just
with them. No, Easton's going with me.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
Oh my god, I'm so excited.

Speaker 6 (11:42):
Wow, so jampship going with my family to go with that.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Confirm I've heard you're not confirmed.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
No, no, no, no, we're not going. Oh oh yeah, but he
was gonna come watch with us.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Yes, I wanted to see Sonic with not by myself,
an Tony was very kind to invite me along. When
they went, there wasn't a set dated.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
I got two extra tickets, so I told Easton he
could bring someone if he wants. And yeah, So anyways,
one of the Sonnic permier to nights. So they were like,
the idea that they gave me for Creator like for
real was to dress up Sonic the Hedgehog or Shadow
who is the best friend, best friend, the red bad one, oh,

(12:24):
the bad guy. Okay, anyways, I was like, did y'all
get this idea? Because I dressed his alba And they're like, yeah,
you guys, that was one off.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Are you going to do it? No? No, But like
you could wear the blue color.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
So what I decided. My original idea was that I
was going to try and find like the mascot, like
cost mascot, but they were like, they'll actually be there
on the carpet. I think, like the actual Sonic mascot.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
So I thought about me, why they say don't dress
up princess when you go to Disneyland if you're of
a certain age, because people are gonna think you're official.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
And I don't know that was crazy.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
I didn't either.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Anyways, I thought it would be so funny if y'all
went and I was like talking to y'all and you
didn't know what was me. So anyways, I tried to
source a mascot costume and I couldn't find one. So
I have that.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
You know what you either do though?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
What so?

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Party City has a lot of pinnatas with Sonic on them.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Say that word.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Patas so you can cut the bottom out and like
put that on your head.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
That feels cozy.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Photo. They're giant, much bigger than your head, three times
the size of your head. The pinatas.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Pinata, the pinata.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
The piatas are very big and round.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
I get it, but I'm saying the wit of them big. No,
they're typically quite thin.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
No, No, definitely not like Sonic's body.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
There's no need to talk about this because I'm not
gonna do it, but it's a great suggestion, just to
hear you say.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
I have many a Sonic piatas in my day. Let
me tell you so.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Anyways, I think I'm just gonna try and dress in
the colors of Sonic. The blue, yeah, like blue and black.

Speaker 6 (14:26):
Or you could be the yellow one.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
What's their name?

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Tails?

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Oh yeah, I don't really have a lot of yellow.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Going to be the voice of wish.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
I've been stalking Tails voiceover on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
No, you need a new character. You can't come in
and be a character that's already astablished.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Since she's already established. But it feels like it could
have happened. Like I feel like Tails could have been me.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
You could be you know what your name could be?
Fie for efflorescent.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Well, I think they already have names. The Hedgehog.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
I'm telling you, Amy Rose, I think that's the perfect
Hedgehog for you. After Shadow is introduced, we're getting into
the extended Sonic lore now, so I think Amy's forthcoming.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
So she's not better in the movies.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
I've seen that one find out.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Let's hear a little Amy Rose.

Speaker 6 (15:20):
Well, I need a line.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
I can't just like, come on, come on, Sonic, I
don't know what we knew.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Here's here's a name. Why not just give up? You're
starting to make me really mad?

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Okay, give me a little bit of background on her.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
Uh, she's a she's Sonic's friend. Let's see.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
What's a major crush on Sonic?

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Here?

Speaker 6 (15:45):
What's my line?

Speaker 5 (15:47):
Why not just give up? You're starting to make me really.

Speaker 6 (15:49):
Mad, Sonic?

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Why not just give up? You're starting to make me mad.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
It's a little flirty, that's the whole point.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
I know.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
But it's a little bit like bedroom flirty.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
A little more Yeah, it needs.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
To be a little more Hedgehog, a little more Hedgehog
and less sexual.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Come on, Sonic, let's get out of the way.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
They all say.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
You'll be happy to know that Amy Rose is canonically
a Taylor Swift fan.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
His role was made for me.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Someone drew her ass. Taylor Swift?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Where am I going to tonight?

Speaker 6 (16:35):
Have you seen one?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
And two? No?

Speaker 3 (16:38):
So good?

Speaker 4 (16:39):
So good?

Speaker 2 (16:40):
The only thing I know about Song of the Hedgehog
is that I played the Sega game. Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 6 (16:48):
Oh my gosh, that's so funny.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
I know.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
But anyway, so yeah, where are we going with all this?

Speaker 2 (16:55):
I guess talking about events or something. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
You're a gay La Gallo this weekend and it.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Was for It was the Unforgettable Gala, which was honoring
like it's an it's an award for Asian Americans, And
it was so amazing because it was really cool to
be in a room with so many people, like Haley
was even saying, just like being a part of like
the Asian American community and like being in a room
full of people and hearing them talk about the you know,

(17:24):
the the struggle to be seen as like the lead
characters and things and not just like the side characters
and like having to fight for the roles. It was
just so inspiring and I was I was like, so,
I had no idea that it was such a huge deal,
And it was every year.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Yea, in the first year that i'd like seen it
on socials.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
No, they've been doing it for years, like a long time,
almost twenty something years. But if you think about it,
Michelle Yo was the first Asian American woman to win
an Oscar for Best Actress.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
I know.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
And so if you think about it, being in a
room full of people who are who are winning these
awards now and getting the recognition they deserve was like
such a massive deal. But they haven't had the gotten
the recognition that they deserve.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
But the fact you said that they've been doing this
for twenty years and this is literally the first year
I've ever seen it on social media.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Yeah, I know, it's crazy, I've heard of it. Well.
I was really like freaking out because I think Sandra
was at the last year, and I thought she was
going to be there and I was so I was
like anxious of what I was going to say to
her if I saw her. But then right when we
got there, I was like, oh was Sandra coming, and
the girls like, oh, no, she can't make it this year.
But it was I could like relax, right, It's like,

(18:40):
I don't know what I would say to her.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
You have to say something.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
I'd have to say something, and I just don't know
what it would have been. So I would have had
to like really be brave and maybe drunk. But we did.
Nicholasche and Vanessola Shame were there and Haley told Nick.

Speaker 6 (18:58):
She was like, oh my gosh, I feed myself when
she posted.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
That I had a poster review on my wall growing
up and then I became a raging lesbian. And he
was like, oh, that's the response. I can remember what
he said. I you could tell he was like, up
and then like.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Your poster all over my wall and he was like yes,
and she's like, and now I'm a raging lesbian.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
He's like, we were dying because then she pulled it
around and she's like, but then I realized it was
because I wanted to be you, because you had so
many girls that like were obsessed with you and loved you,
and so we were all like, oh yeah. But they
performed ninety eight degrees performed at the end and it
was so fun. They did like choreo and stuff. It

(19:45):
was amazing.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
I feel like Lche and Vanessa la Che don't get
a lot of the credit that they.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Deserve in what way.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
I like them a lot there I didn't.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
I've met her multiple times and she is the kind
like one of the nicest people.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yeah, And I feel like they just got like poopooed
on for that one bad reunion from Love Is Blind?
Do you not remember that? It was like mayhem. People
were like petitioning to get them off his host, like
it was so bad and like people can't let it go.
I'm like, guys, you're trying to do better.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Who doesn't get poo pooed on on on social media? Really?

Speaker 6 (20:21):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
It all comes back to Love.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Is Blind always does, it always does.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
But yeah, you know what else that comes back to?
Why does it come back to Selena Gomez. Oh, we
we'll get into that.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Yes, when we come back, we come back. All right,

(20:56):
we are back. So Selena Gomez engaged.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
I know so much happened after our podcast last week.
I feel like it was just like so much. What
else happened? Selena Gomez got engaged, Taylor Swift celebrated a birthday.
It was Friday the thirteenth, and he went to a
gala galley.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Ye, yeah, we already talked about that though.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I went to the snow at Century City Mall. So
much has happened, So much happened in quick week.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Well, Selena getting engaged, I'm just I feel so happy
for her.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
It was like I feel like there's like a collective
high in the world because he's engaged.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah. My favorite thing about it was that there was
taco bell on the blanket in the picture.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Do you have you guys seen all the conspiracy theories
saying that they got paid for that taco bell?

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:44):
No, I'm like, there's no chance in hell that either
one of them is using their proposal as some sort
of whatever it's called. Beside I do it not when
you're them, No.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Not when you're them.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Yeah, it's not beneath us. We're just saying it is
beneath Benny and Selena.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
It was like fuzzy though, like you had to really
like zoom in.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
No, it wasn't fuzzy at all.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Are you kidding? T both of her stickers sticky having
to be ripped.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
You know what's funny is if you said a couple
of years ago, like, hey, you guys, Selena Gomeo is
going to be engaged to Benny Blanco in a couple
of years, you know, have a very uh interesting reaction
and very different to the reaction from now. Mind you
you're zoomed in like a thousand.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Times, but like, okay, honestly, it is kind of clear
and facing yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
Yeah, yeah, I'm in on this conspiracy. Yeah I really
want not just right.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Now, that might be lunch and the looks of it,
yeah Mexican, Uh, not just about Grande in a Mexican pizza.
The ring is stunning.

Speaker 6 (22:56):
It's stunning.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
And did you see her song I just want to
look good for it?

Speaker 6 (23:02):
Good for She was I'm on I'm on my Marquee diamond.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Oh yeah, I'm a Marquee Diamond.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Yeah she does say that. Wow, is that how he
got the idea? You think I can't.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Imagine from the song? I imagine that was maybe her
I dream like engagement ring.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
That's what I was gonna ask. Do you think Selena
Gomez was like, here my dream like, this is my
dream ring? Or do you think he just did it
himself hisself himself?

Speaker 4 (23:26):
H Okay, you're good. I think Benny's a romantic guy. Yeah, no,
he pulled off himself.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
But I don't think he's like listening to the lyrics
of her songs. I'm sure like she's mentioned it quite
a few times that like a Marquee diamond is her
favorite listen.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
I haven't considered a Marquee diamond, but I know it's gorgeous.
That's a big deal. That's like taking up the bottom. Yeah,
that's big, taken up the whole bottom portion of her fingers.

Speaker 6 (23:54):
It's nice.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
So I have like fat knuckles, So if anyone has
fat knuckles, I feel like a Marquie. Di'mond not saying
that she does. I'm just saying in general, I feel
like it's nice to have like a long diamond versus
like a circular one.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
Pretty yeah, your Hedgehog fat knuckles.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Fat knuckles, read them and weep all those years of Kraken.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
I'm just really happy for her, I know, I like, honestly,
I'm obsessed with her.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
I couldn't get over it. There was like this weird
feel like. So I saw it and I texted Herquel
right away. I was like, she's engaged, and she was
with her. They were like all over there, and she
was like, I know, like and I feel like Selena
Is is a little bit like me in the sense
that we love love, like we've just like always like

(24:42):
that's like just been such a thing, you know what
I mean. And so I feel like when she got engaged,
I don't know why. I just felt so like beyond
happy for her and like I couldn't stop looking at
the photos and like texting and just like I was
so obsessed with it that night.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Did you get to say hi to her? Well?

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I was texting her through where cal was with her
and she was like telling her all again. Then I
sent her a texting congratulations and like this is the
best time ever and wow, yeah, very exciting.

Speaker 6 (25:12):
It's so exciting.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Do you think what if Field did a double wedding.

Speaker 6 (25:17):
Well, mine's kind of already planned.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Get in. Yeah, it's fine. A second to her fast,
I like it.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
He'll fast.

Speaker 6 (25:26):
Let them have their engagement.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Hear an iHeart, Oh my god, double wedding right here
at the radio station.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Probably by Taco Bell, Live Mos Forever and Ever Live Moss.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Wait, I didn't see the Taylor so said, yes, I'll
be the flower. You didn't see that.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
It's so cute. You know what else?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Like Taylor Swift finishes the arras tour right and you're
thinking she's got to go home and sleep for days.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
No love what you're about to say here she goes.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
To the children's hospital.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Those studios were incredible.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Yeah, and I don't care what people people like? What
I ever? She did it so that people will talk
about how good, whatever the reason, I don't care, because
I have all the time in the world and I'm
not doing that right. And she, you know, is just
like exhausted coming off of the biggest show in history,
and that's what she chose to do, and so personable

(26:19):
in all the videos I saw making tiktoks.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Loving the time. Did not feel I did not feel
like she was rushed. I don't know, didn't feel like
she was on her way out.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
Really spending time time with each patient. Yes, amazing, she
was just like once.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
In a lifetime.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
Really, I know it is. I know, you're so right.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
I forgot that. I mean, I didn't forget that she
just finished her tour. But I saw those videos. I
thought they were very sweet, but like thinking of kind
of where she is in her mental state of just like,
let me sleep without an alarm for the next five weeks,
you know, no, not put makeup on?

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Yeah no, no, she don't be sleeping or not putting
makeup on. She'd be out there, okay, are you done shopping?

Speaker 6 (27:06):
No?

Speaker 2 (27:06):
Oh no, are you no? Not even close?

Speaker 6 (27:09):
I know.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
And the mall is crazy town.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
And Christmas is next week.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
What happened this year?

Speaker 2 (27:18):
What happened because from literally October, from October first to
now is like.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
A blink of an eye, snap a snap.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Is that just getting older? Does this happen as we
get older or is this specific to this year?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
So I feel like I've read some conspiracy theories about this,
not conspiracy, but theories that because Thanksgiving was later this year,
it was like a week then a year, yeah, than
it usually is, it's made the holidays feel crammed.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Yeah, but that was typically there's not a full month
in between Halloween and Thanksgiving, and it was a full
month in between those too. I just made Christmas and Thanksgiving,
Phil Rush, Yes, correct either way. When I had the
moment when I had the realization that Christmas is.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Next week, so now I went to worse up online
and it's not getting to me. Before Christmas, I was like,
MoMA's got to go into the stores.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Now I know I gotta go.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
She gotta be going door to door.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Shoot, and it's crazy out there.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Crazy.

Speaker 6 (28:24):
I went last night.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
Oh my gosh, So I met a scrubber last night.
So she starts off, She's like, I'm a scrubber.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
I was like, thank you.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
So much.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
That's so kind, and she goes, I also grew up
listening to you.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
I was like, how old are you?

Speaker 6 (28:42):
Twenty four?

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Oh wow, so yeah you were. She was like ten
when you're in the morning show.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Oh my gosh, it's giving. Daisy grew up watching me. Yeah, yeah,
I grew too.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
I was like, oh so I oh that's I mean,
it was so sweet.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
I love her.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
It is like whatever. But I get home that night
and I got this like infrared light thing that was
like in one of I get bags at like a
holiday party that I went to, and I opened that
bad boy Chargers or I'm like, you're gonna grow up
listening to this.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
I also met Scrubbers last night, if I may, if
I might mention them, I was in the lobby at
Wicked at the Pantagious Theater. This is a live show,
was not the not the movie. If you don't know
what Pantagious Theater is, that was the deal. So it
was Marlene and Nancy. I was with my family and
my daughter's boyfriend and Mark Margo. Oh do I know
someone here? No scrubbers, just scrubbers there. Took a picture

(29:41):
and they couldn't have been lovelier. Obviously there's scrubbers.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
When they yeah, what do you think of the musical phenomenal?

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Yeah, yeah, so great. And also it was great because
I saw that musical We're going to guess two thousand
and seven or eight, okay, when it was like first
of the Pantagious Theater with like I remember Meghan Hilty
was Glenda Wow.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Oh wow, yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:03):
I just had a yeah anyway.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Uh says a long time ago, and I remember nothing.
I remember nothing of Act two. Act two was like
I'd never seen it in my life. So I was like, oh,
the Scarecrow, look at all that times together. How I've
seen this before? I had zero recollection of it. So
it was great. It was like it's brand new, and
now I know what to expect in the movie next year,
which they're gonna have to pad because the second act
is like an hour.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
It flies by. They added two songs, they wrote two
songs forby great. I felt the same way. And when
Alphaba goes up into the air for defining gravity during
the musical, chill inducing.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Every time every time I gotta see it.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Yeah, you need to go. It's really cool.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
I got.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
I just feel like it's that time of year where
like you don't just go out to one event every night,
there's like multiple events every night. Yes, like whatever, I
can't remember what night it was, but uh, our kid
had a band winter recital. Yeah, and I had a
holiday party the same night, So I like went to
one quick change in the car.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Show biz baby in the to the other. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
It was like dang, like we're we're in that, We're
in that phase of life. Yeah, lots of activities, lots
of activities for the children and for yourself.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Correct, what do you all do for Christmas? Like, because
you do you do Chrismica.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Well, this is the first year that we're really doing
christmaa because they fall on the same day.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
So but you get them because they get multiple gifts, right,
isn't that the tradition of like.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
So everybody does it differently is when I've gathered, it's
not like universal things. Some people give them like they're
all their gifts the first night of Honkahs. Some do
all their gifts the last night of honicas. Some do
one gift each night of Hankkah.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Yeah, you've done that. We do.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
We did it every night that we had them on honkkah, oh,
I see, I see it.

Speaker 6 (31:46):
Yeah, So rounds out to about like three or four gifts.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Do they get to are they still just asking for
what they want? Like it's the same thing as like
Christmas or do y'all just.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Kind of yeah, But they're at the age where like
you know, like there's an age where they go for
toys to not wanting toys anymore, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
So sad shift in life when toys like when you
leave the toy.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
Face, yeah, they're not in the toy like.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
They want to keep me in the room.

Speaker 4 (32:11):
She had a birthday, I think it was, and she
got a bunch of stuff for her birthday. They were
not toys, and it made her cry, and she was
appreciative and very happy with what she did get, but
she was like, the fact that they don't get toys
anymore makes me sad.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
Well, that made her sad, really sad.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Yes, because she's not a kid.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
She realized, Yeah, that's.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Been consistent with her her whole life. She's a little
bit hesitant to get to the next phase. That was
the older one.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Oh my gosh, I wish I was like, I feel
like I'm rushing.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Yeah, no, I remember my sister and I would play
Beanie Babies and then one day she just stopped wanting
to play Beanie Babies. I was just had to play
by myself. Yeah. I tried to get my brother to play,
but he didn't like, he didn't get it. He didn't
get there, get there of the beanie baby.

Speaker 6 (32:54):
I understand. I understand.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
It is weird though, Like we did Christmas last night
with Hailey's sister and brother in law and niece are
going out of town for Christmas, so we celebrated Christmas
with them last night. And her niece is so cute
because it's like everything she opened, she was just like yeah,
like we had to like give her time to focus
on it because we didn't want to move on to

(33:18):
the next because she was just so in the It
was like barbies, and then she got like a Jurassic
Park t Rex and then a bike. You know, it
was just like so much excitement, and I was like, man,
that's so fun.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
So fun.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Yeah, like my niece used to be like Minniese my nephew.
Now my niece wants like hair, hair like her a hot.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Tool like this is so you're like, I just learned
to use this.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
I just learned how to use this. But Merry Christmas.

Speaker 6 (33:50):
I'm getting her a mini one though it's not like
adult size.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Yeah yeah, just a mini mini crimper. Yeah, a learning curve.
T have y'all. Donels. I feel like you probably you
and Elison probably do like this thing where you all
go like months in advance and you're searching for like these.

Speaker 5 (34:08):
Niche Allison got hers done early. I I've got I
finished mine a couple of days ago, but I want
to We're going to New York for Christmas, so we're like,
we were saying, like, let's not do big gifts because
we'll be in New York. We're gonna do stuff there.
But now I'm starting to be like, I should I
get one more thing?

Speaker 3 (34:30):
You know?

Speaker 5 (34:30):
It's like the Amazon list again.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
And we said that this year. We were like, we're
only going to make each other Christmas gifts this year.
That's where we're at. And then I was like we
were going to make that, yeah, And then as I
got closer, I'm like, what the hell am I going
to make him?

Speaker 6 (34:43):
And I was like, why don't we just do an
experience together?

Speaker 3 (34:45):
And so and now he's like you went from making
our gifts to wanting to do an experience, an expensive experience.
It's like where, what what is it?

Speaker 6 (34:54):
Like, let's make up our mind.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
We should do indoor skydiving at Universal.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Oh my god, I did my birthday of years ago.
It's so fun.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
I've always wanted to do.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
Nothing sounds worse.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
I just thought an experience. Yeah, just off the top
of my head. Yeah yeah, New York sounds fun. Where
are you all going?

Speaker 5 (35:13):
We're you know, we're flying there on Christmas Day. A
friend of mars Martin.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
No one's going to be there, I mean the airport.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
Yeah. A friend of us is getting married in New
Jersey on the twenty ninth, So we thought, let's fly
out on Christmas. We'll do the We'll be there till
the twenty ninth in the city. We'll jet on over
to Jersey, do the wedding, and then fly back on
the thirtieth for New Years. And you know, we're excited.
We're going to do the We're going to the Nutcracker,
We're going to some museums. We're going to you know,
try to do as much of the Christmas stuff as

(35:41):
you can. I'm going to go to Kay Bradshaw's apartment.
Very excited about that. He Wow, that was the one
demand I had.

Speaker 6 (35:47):
Uh, yeah, you should go to Cornelia Street.

Speaker 5 (35:51):
That is a great idea. I'm writing that down.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Yeah, I went there last time I was there.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
You should go to what's that ice cream place? Serendipity
of original Serendipity?

Speaker 5 (36:02):
Yes, uh, what's the of that?

Speaker 2 (36:05):
It's the best, like craziest dessert serendipity is that one? Yeah, No,
it's like famous and then you you go, it's like
you walk down into it. Oh and then and it's
like the original and you get the most incredible elaborate desserts.
So fun.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
You can watch the romantic comedy from two thousand and
one called Serendipity with Kate beckencell Sa.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
I'll watch that on the plane on way over there.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Wait that the Making of the Guests. We just watched
the episode of Friends where they make each other Valentine's
gifts and then Chandler finds the mixtape and it ends
up being the one Janis made for him, and they're
like at the end, She's like, I love you Chandler.
How cool is it that we had her on the podcast?
So cool? Cool, all right, we have a I guess

(36:51):
email from a scrubber that needs our help, so we'll
get to that after this break. All right, we're back.

(37:14):
There is an important thing happening.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yes, and I would just like to say that, you know,
many times we have guests on our podcast that invite
us to grab a drink in.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
The lobby, want to want to show together.

Speaker 6 (37:27):
Come on over, have a glass of wine. Premiere night
and not a ton of follow through.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
I would say zero right now, we're bat in zero.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
However, the tides are about to change.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
And why is that?

Speaker 6 (37:41):
Because a date has.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
Been made soon, very soon? Do you want to guess?

Speaker 6 (37:49):
You already know?

Speaker 3 (37:50):
Do you know?

Speaker 5 (37:51):
I don't know who?

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Okay, so it's a recent guest that we've had and
the conversation is now officially out of the group chat
and we were meeting for drinks tomorrow. Wow, care to
take a gander?

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Uh, who's been on the show recently? Joey Grazzida.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
That's an excell that's a pretty good guess. But no, yeah,
only if yeah, respectfully?

Speaker 4 (38:17):
Is it Jenna Ushkowitz?

Speaker 2 (38:19):
No, but she just loved No, I don't think she drinks.
She doesn't, No, shook.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
No, I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
She is not at all.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
I don't think no alcohol respect.

Speaker 6 (38:35):
We could also go there because I'm on my way.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
Yeah, I wish they were true.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
I said no to a glass of wine last night,
and I had a nice, nice ragou.

Speaker 6 (38:46):
That would have been excellent.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
I was like, Robbie's like, I'll split it with you,
and I was like, no.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
Did you drink since the last time we were here?

Speaker 3 (38:54):
No?

Speaker 4 (38:55):
Nothing, this whole weekend. There was not a drop of
alcohol on your lips.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
The all party.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
Oh yeah, no, no, but I didn't drink it. I
just I just took a drink.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
Oh okay, yeah, of someone else's drink.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
No.

Speaker 6 (39:06):
I was just like carrying it, like.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
Yeah, all right, that's right, but that's about to change tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
When you meet up with Riley Arnold.

Speaker 6 (39:17):
She's nineteen.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
Yeah, hey, you know, it's twenty twenty four. I don't
know what's happening here. Who could it possibly be?

Speaker 2 (39:26):
We asked her she and she said she was like, yeah,
I'm down, and I go, don't don't do this if
you don't mean it. Because Tanya gets her feelings hurt. Yeah,
she's middle name. The theme of Valentine's Day.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
Oh my god, Jennifer Carr Hewett, Jennifer loved you it.
Oh my god, wow, huge, massive.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
Pretty huge, Yes, pretty epic.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
I told Haley, and she goes, You're I think drinks
with Jennifer love you? And I was like, yeah, I
guess I did present that quite casually, very casually. Yeah,
so we were doing that.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
Yeah, the legend herself.

Speaker 5 (40:13):
I know what you did last podcast?

Speaker 6 (40:14):
Then I no, Wow, I know. And did you see
the scuttle about her and Sarah Michelle Geller.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Oh my god, I'm to ask her about it tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
I can't too because I am friends with both of them,
and I cannot be in a world where the two
of them do not get along.

Speaker 6 (40:26):
That just cannot be cannot I cannot live in a world.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
You're going to prepare this relationship single handedly.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Well, I don't think it is because Sarah Michelle Geller
can't just say her name, her single name, Sarah.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
No.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
She posted because I think all this stuff was out going,
like that clip was going viral.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
It was a clip of the interviewer asking Sarah Michelle
Geller if Jennifer love He was going to come back
for the uh I read did.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
Last summer reboot and she kind of made like a
weird face and like backed away, like didn't answer the question.
So everybody's saying there's beef between them?

Speaker 2 (40:56):
Or she says so like I don't know anything about that.
She said something that dismissed it, but the look on
her face presented and then she walked away.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
Yeah, so like, okay, so everybody's writing all these articles
about this beef and then she posted. Sarah Michelle Geller
posted on her Instagram. The next day, Jennifer Hewett announced
that she was going to be on it. So she
posted the announcement and said when you make a stanky
face because you can't comment on something, or like what.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Are in the headlights?

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Do you're in the headlights? Whatever? Whatever. She wrote something
along the lines of like trying to say that it's
because she didn't want to let the cat out of
the bag, not because I think she's trying to fuse
all of these stories that there's beef. Why would there
be beef between them?

Speaker 2 (41:38):
I don't know, but I need I need answers.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
There can't be.

Speaker 3 (41:42):
They're shunned to be.

Speaker 5 (41:45):
I was hoping it was like a manufactured beef like
the Rock and Vin Diesel did that for Fast and
Furious State or something they did, and then it turned
into a real beef, but it was manufactured at first.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
Oh interesting, Yeah, yeah, I love like a There's something
about a pr beef that's really fun.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
Should we start one?

Speaker 2 (42:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (42:05):
Okay, next week?

Speaker 2 (42:07):
What do we do just don't like each other? Oh wow? Yeah, yes,
we can say that we're gonna do it and didn't
do it. It's gonna be either yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay,
we have an email.

Speaker 4 (42:27):
Michaeless struggling with career rejection. I've been listening to Scrubbing
in since twenty nineteen. You've always always got me through
my morning commute, especially early mornings when I'm getting ready
for and commuting two work. You four never failed to
make me laugh and brighten my day.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
I'm writing in for career advice. I'm a nurse and
I've been working for three years. I recently applied for
a new position on the unit I currently work on.
I didn't get it. After nearly a year of working
towards this goal, I've been actively looking at a different
nursing positions in my area and have been receiving so
much rejection. How do you both deal with rejection in
your career? Is what can I do moving forward to
not lose hope. I was finally starting to feel confident

(43:04):
my role as a nurse and have been feeling lost
recently with all this rejection. That's Mikayla, you.

Speaker 6 (43:11):
Know it's crazy, MICHAELA.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
I was let go from my very first radio job
in Tucson, Arizona. I was working for this same company
and it was like the year where they had these
like massive layoffs and they were just laying off every
part timer. But when you're twenty one, you don't realize
any of that. You take it so personal. So when
I got laid off, I thought it was because it

(43:33):
was like the biggest rejection. It was like I didn't
do a good job. I wasn't good enough, I wasn't
this enough. Had I not been let go from that
job or rejected from that job, I think I would
still be in Tucson, Arizona today because it was that
time where nobody was getting jobs out of college because
of the economy, and I was like, why would I
leave this job that I have now? Because I actually

(43:55):
have a part time job and I'm making money, why
would I leave this? So I feel like I would
have stayed there or where I was comfortable and safe
had it not been rejected and pushed out, I would
never be where I am today.

Speaker 6 (44:07):
So I know it sounds like so.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
Crazy in the moment, but like rejection really is protection
and I feel like I feel like there's light at
the end of the tunnel for you and it's all
going to make sense as to like why you're seeing
so much rejection.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
I think sometimes it's just a season where it feels
like everything is going wrong and no one's saying yes,
and it feels like everything's no, and it feels like
constant rejection. But I think you're going to hit a
point where you get a job that you're like, wow,
I'm so glad all those other people said no, because
now I get to do this and this is just

(44:44):
kind of the thick of it. And you know what
they say, what is it? The only way al is through? Yeah,
the only way out of it is going through it.
And you're you're going through it. You're in the tunnel
and you see the light, you know what you want.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
It might be more miles ahead in that tunnel, but
that's okay, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
And it might be one more day in the tunnel.

Speaker 3 (45:06):
You never because you're gonna be out of that tunnel.
You're gonna be in the light one day and you're
gonna look back at that tunnel and be like you
made me who I am.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Yes, that tunnel is making you stronger. It's making you
realize what you deserve and what you want, and you're
gonna come out of it.

Speaker 3 (45:21):
And I know it's all fluffy, like we're like being
very pie in the sky about it, but like I
live this. I literally lived this. I was so it
was like rejection when I was graduating from college and
like it was supposed to be the best time of
my life and I just got fired from my very
first job. I was so sad, I like could knock
it out of bed. I was so sad, so like
I've literally been here, and like it's temporary.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
And don't let the rejection, rejection change you make you
feel like you aren't confident as a nurse. Like it's
so like being able to find that confidence in your
role as a nurse is such a gift. And don't
let the rejection or the nose make you feel like
you're not a good nurse, that it just might not
it just might not be that it was the right
position for you. But it doesn't change the fact that

(46:07):
you're great at what you do and that there's something
amazing in your future. But at the same time, I
obviously Tanya knows it's hard, and we know it's it's
easy when you're on the outside looking in. But you've
got this totally good. We're rooting for you. Took anything.

Speaker 4 (46:25):
Guys, well, I fired many times because I'm an old
person and I've been working in radio for a long time,
and that's what happens. So every single time I've been fired,
it's been the best thing. I've been so happy that
I got fired. Eventually, at the time it's devastating, but
down the line, like, oh thank god, I'm not there anymore.
So there was a reason you didn't get that other job,
and you may never know what that reason was, but

(46:46):
you're gonna be so much happier down the line. It's
all gonna work out great.

Speaker 6 (46:49):
I agree, it always does.

Speaker 5 (46:50):
I mean, what more could I say? Keep doing what
you do and stay the course A thousand points of light.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
Yeah, we do have a gin Tran coming in. We've
been trying to get her for a long time and
we finally will have her.

Speaker 6 (47:09):
The time has come.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
On scrubbing in this Thursdays.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
What the time has come? The wall says, to speak
of many things.

Speaker 2 (47:15):
Speaking of we got rejected by gen Tran many times
and going wow, so some time is everything?

Speaker 3 (47:23):
Patrick, Yes, yesterday he has a show to promote, Yes
he does.

Speaker 4 (47:29):
Let's not mention it until he comes on.

Speaker 3 (47:31):
Yeah, watch that show until he sits his body in here.

Speaker 2 (47:37):
So we'll be back Thursday with Gen and we have
five with Patrick. Stay tuned, Love Me

Speaker 6 (47:50):
To be continued.
