Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in. Scrub but dub dumb
are Dancing with the Stars auditions continue.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Honestly, like when did we become the Dancing with the
Stars podcast. We had more Dancing with the Stars guest
guests this year than ever history of our podcast, and
we appreciate it. Yeah, because it's hop the season.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
It is like, if there was a season to have it,
it's no, it's now. If not now, when? If not us? Who?
If not today? Not tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Oh never?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
That's better. That was better. That was but actually I
didn't It's supposed to be tomorrow, but it's today. Anyways,
today we do have a really she came on her
first season was last season. She was so popular. She
has a sibling who is very beloved on the show,
and she is making her own way as a Dancing
with the Stars pro. It's Riley Arnold. We love her.
(01:05):
She's so cute. Tanya was trying to bring mimosas today
and I'm like, she's nineteen.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
I literally like we should bring mimosas and make it
really cute with Riley. And then everybody said she's nineteen, so.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
I was like, so only mimosas for us. If we
wanted to do that.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
I was going to, and then that felt rude.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yeah yeah, we can't be doing that.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah yeah, you can't have that not include your guests.
So anyways, it's time to.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Bring her in. Riley Arnold, Hi, Riley, Hi, We're so
happy to have you here. Thank you for having me. Actually,
it's so weird that we actually officially met. But I
came to the tart house at Stagecoach and it was
madness because everyone was getting their makeup and ready and
we had just stopped by. So I was like, oh
(01:49):
my gosh, there's Riley. But I didn't want to I've
ever seen you there. That's so crazy. And I know
your sister Lindsey. I said hi to her, and then
I was like, got starstruck by you, so stoped.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
No, I got weird, so weird, so nice and approachable,
I know, but it was like there was a lot
off your head.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I don't want to interrupt her getting your makeup done?
The makeup artists, what do you do when you're getting
your makeup?
Speaker 3 (02:15):
You're just sitting there when you get your makeup talking.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I don't ask questions about why, you know how you.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Just get so I'm interested in the psyche behind it.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
You just sometimes you freeze and that's what happens.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Yes, And it's just like, maybe it's not the right time.
It's okay, because I was waiting for this, Yes, this
right here?
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Is it a moment?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yes, I do have to confess. When we were preparing
for you to come on the podcast.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
I was like, she's so cute.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Should we do like mimosas and have like a fun
little like thing. And everybody's like, she's nineteen.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, not all right? Yeah, so I was.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Excited to have a mimosa with you, But I'll wait
a couple of years.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, yes, we can wait a little bit longer. I
do think people forget how young you are, because in
just the I feel like two years where you've been
on Dance with the star's been a prolce with the stars,
it feels like there's this element of you being older.
You seem so grounded and mature, and I wonder what
it's been like for you coming onto a show where
(03:16):
you are significantly younger than most of the cast. What
has that been like for you. It's honestly crazy.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
But like the fact that I've been able to do
this at nineteen years old, like actually achieve one of
my biggest dreams, is so just fulfilling for me.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
And ye cool.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
It's been really interesting to be in this crowd of
people who are so experienced in what they do and
have been doing their job for so long. But it's
so cool to kind of like bring that young energy.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I also have.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
Loved having Ezra, one of my best friends, as a
pro this year. It's just been so fun. And I
don't know, I love that they all ask me for
advice on tiktoks and what they should post and I
don't know, I.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Just see that's so fun, so funny.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
So you started when you were seventeen.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yes, well no, so I started when I was eighteen.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Okay, okay, yeah, So it's been Yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Been a year. I'll be twenty in June, so okay, okay, yes,
that'll be like two years.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
But yeah, it's so crazy, like just being amongst people
who were co workers with my oldest sister and like
they were kind of like my older siblings and they
still are and I feel like they have that like
protectiveness towards me, which I think is really sweet. But
it's so cool to be amongst people that I truly
looked up to my whole entire life and I'm dancing
alongside them.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
It's just really amazing. Did you coming into this at
eighteen and you had so much You already had attention
on you because you're Lindsay's the little sister and she
was she was so loved on the show, and there
was already that excitement to have you there, and then
you get paired with Harry and there's all this attention
on you and like focus on are they friends? Is
there more? Were you really overwhelmed last year? It was
(04:49):
pretty overwhelming?
Speaker 5 (04:50):
Like it wasn't I mean, I didn't really dive into
it too much, but it was It was hard. Yeah,
Like to go from being just a small town Utah
girl friend out of high school and to like be
projected like that online and have so many things come
out a lot of just crazy people involved in just
the whole situation was hard.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Like it definitely like took a toll.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
But at the same time, I was doing what I loved,
which was dancing, and I was accomplishing one of my
biggest dreams. So I feel like I really just wanted
to focus on that and really wanted to make sure
I was doing my job and like really fulfilling everything
I needed to fulfill. But yeah, it's kind of crazy
to like literally I graduated in May and then I
moved to LA in August and it was just like bam,
(05:35):
and like I had like had social media attention before,
kind of like you said, but nothing like I had
just this last year.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
So it was pretty crazy.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Well, yeah, pardon my I was last year wasn't as
into dance. I've had my ups. Dancing with Stars has
been around for how many seasons?
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Now?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Seasons? Is it? Thirty three? Yeah? So crazy?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
That is so crazy, so long, I know, but it's awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
So I've had my ups and my down So season
I wasn't as involved as I am this season. What happened?
So it was just you were partnered with Harry Jowsey
and there was just people thought that you were dating,
and then what would they do? They would just like
comment on your videos like tell us what's going on?
Were they just like really wanting because I feel like
people are doing that this season with other people.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
Yeah, well they do that a lot, Like with a
lot of the couples, it's always just like are they together?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Are they not?
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Because you're dancing, you're spending someone time together. But yeah,
so last year everyone just was kind of just like,
are you guys dating, Like just constantly asking that and
leaving comments about it, very involved in like my life
outside too, like wanted to get inside, scooped to it all.
Anytime me and Harry were together out in public, it
was very much like, Okay, let's get a video of this,
(06:43):
and like let's make a point of that, which is
just so crazy and so not something I was experienced with, right,
But yeah, it was just kind of like that that
whole season, just kind of like are they dating?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Are they not?
Speaker 1 (06:54):
And it was just so crazy when you got paired
with him, then were you like, I mean, because he's
so I think visually y'all are so both so cute
and so and he has this bad boy reputation and
you're this sweet.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Young girl that come from Utah, and I think there
was that like almost storybook thing of the bad boy
with the good girl and then y'all are both cute
and then you're dancing together and you're making him. I
wouldn't say a great dancer, but a better dancer to
come into it. Yeah, And I do think there was.
You know, people make fan edits and they put a
(07:30):
cute song over it, and I found myself being like,
oh yeah, wait, I don't want her with it.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
No, Yeah, I definitely think there was. There's a lot
of like shipping going on, and like, honestly, like it
was just all very natural. We had a great time
together and our season was really good, and I think
what we posted online just kind of like showcase that
and showcase like the actual like fun that we had together.
But yeah, it was just so crazy to like see
(07:58):
all those edits.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
And I'm watching them. I'm like, interesting, that's not quite
where we're at right now, though, So funny. Yeah, yeah,
that is weird how people the Internet will take something
and then you're you're being the person that it's about
watching it, Like that's not exactly how it is, Like, yeah,
it's not.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
The real real life, but that's in the entertainment industry,
you know what I mean. People take videos and photos
of anybody just out Let's say you're like at a
club and you end up like walking next to somebody's
table and then they take photos and then all of
a sudden, those people are together. Do you know what
I mean? It's like it's all smoke and mirrors. It's
actually pretty crazy.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
But also sometimes what is posted online and what is
said online can be very true, which is crazy.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
I don't know, guys, I.
Speaker 5 (08:40):
Don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
You do y'all still talk? Do you and Harry or
is it kind of like that was like part of
y'all's That was y'all's friendship, and y'all did what y'all
did for Dancing and the Stars, and you've both moved on.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
I mean, I'm very supportive of the life that he lives,
and I hope all is well with him. He came
to one of the tapings and I got to say hello,
But yeah, we're kind of just on our own paths
right now.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Great, and you have just hard launched your relationship, which
is not rumors and not nospiracies. It's true. It's real,
hosted by you. It had a very Taylor Swift vibe
to it.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
He's a football player, yes, and he's a tight end
like Travis Kelcey, So it's kind of perfect.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
I love it, do you feel like that that relationship
works because I feel like when we talk to all
the pros from Dancing with the Stars, their life, your
your your life is very much like an athlete. It's
like sleep, eat, work, repeat, you know, and like that's
the same as like an athlete. And I feel like,
is that helpful in your relationship because you kind of
have that same mindset.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
No, it's so nice because we are both so busy.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
Like for me, I going into this season, I had
no intention of having a boyfriend or like getting into
a relationship or getting into a relationship honestly anytime soon,
because I always thought it would add to my plate
and make my life harder. But having Walker, it's like
every time I'm with him, it's just like the thoughts
of like the stress of the show and like the
(10:10):
hardness of the show completely goes away and I'm just
like focused on him.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
I'm completely unplugged from like.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
The world outside, and so it's just really special to
be able to have that. And I think we're kind
of that like safe haven for each other because his
life is crazy.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
He's in the midst of his football season.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
But it's like when we're together, it's just like all
those worries kind of go away. And so it's just
been so nice because I'm like it was hard for me,
like dating for a second there, I was just like
every person.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I was just like, I don't want to I'm.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
Not emotionally available for this, Like I don't have the
if I can't even like focus on myself, there's no
way I could focus on somebody else. With Walker, it's
just like different, Like I feel like he just adds
and makes it just so much better.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
So y'all launched? How two weeks ago? Yes? Yes, since
you post something. My caption was like, is this a
hard launch? I watched my relationship. I said, I don't
know if this is a hard launch or a soft launch,
but it's a launch.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I love that it's still a thing. So that was
two weeks ago. How long have you all been together
before you publicly posted? Y'all's a relationship.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
So kind of quick. Honestly, we were dating for about
a week before we posted, but we have been talking
for like a month and a half.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Okay, yes, how did y'all meet? So crazy?
Speaker 5 (11:32):
There's just so many coincidences and invisible strings. Yes, literally,
so basically his aunt was my uber driver like a
couple not a couple of weeks ago, like months ago,
and she was just like driving. She's like, I think
you're such a cute girl. Like don't want to sound
weird or anything. She's like, I have a nephew that's
playing football over at usc Like just look at his
Instagram and just like give him a follow or something.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
And I was just like, okay, I.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Like looked up and I was like, oh, yeah, he's
really cute. So I was like interested at that point.
And then a couple of weeks go by and all
of a sudden, my mom and sisters sent me a
video on like our group chat that we have of him,
and they were like, you need to reach out to him,
like you need to like do something because he's here
in California, like he's super cute.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
And I was like, wait, no way, you guys.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
His aunt was my uber driver like a couple of
weeks ago, and they were like, Riley, you have to
reach out. So I then followed him on Instagram. Then
to find out that my brother in law works with
his best friend's dad, and so then my brother in
law texted his dad and that was kind of how
it connected. And then once I followed him, Walker then
DMed me and then.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
The rest is the opening line, Oh what did he say?
I can't even remember. I was just like, hey, what's up. Hey.
I'd have to pull it up because I can't remember.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
But yeah, it's just been so crazy because now that
we're getting to know each other, like he's from northern
California and I'm from Utah, but we have so many
connections and we know so many the same people. He
visits Utah like all the time, so it's kind of
crazy that we hadn't met already, but it just kind
of feels like the most perfect time that we did meet.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
It's just crazy.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Wow, I love an invisible string story.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
I don't even get there are so many. Every day
we're just like, wait, maybe we're like cousins.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Or I don't know, this is weird before we get
to like, let's check this real quick? Did me did sure? So? Wait?
So i'm your parents or your sister, and mom didn't
know about your the aunt and the uber. They just
saw a video, a random video of him.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Yeah, a video of him just came up on their
for you page. Send it to me, and they're like
he's so cute right, like you need to reach out
And I was like, no, you guys are gonna die
about what I'm gonna tell you right now. So it
was actually so crazy, Like I literally can't believe it.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Did you have a lot of people before, like while
you were in the dating world and dating scene? Did
you were you dating through people you met in your
d ms or how what was the dating process? Because
I imagine you get inundatd with lots of vib message
requs to take you on a date. So how did
you even weed out? Like I guess what got your
(14:08):
attention to even say yes to dates with guys?
Speaker 5 (14:11):
For me, all the dates that happened were through mutuals
like I was told by friends to go out with
this person, or like my sisters or brother in laws
knew this person, Like that's how I always directed my
dates because again, like I don't know, couldn't It can
be scary to just go on a date with a
random person you've never met before, no background of so
I feel like I always went on a date with
(14:33):
somebody that was a mutual of mine. But like dating
in Utah is just like not it, Like guys are
just not my vibe.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
And that's okay, like there are other people's.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Vibes, but like every single day I went on I
was just like I remember, literally a couple of days
before me and Walker had started talking, my mom was
just like, you need to meet people, like you need
to go on dates. I'm like, Mom, I can't, Like
I'm exhausted, like these people like they run me thin,
and like I just can't. I don't have the mentality
for that, and I just like I'm not in the
position for that.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
She's like, okay, like you do you And then Walker
came along and it was just the easiest thing ever.
So that's it's so true, like when someone can provide that,
like what you were saying, you had so much on
your plate and you're like, I don't even know if
I can give anymore to anyone else, and when they
can take that load and just like make it disappear,
that's such a good sign that you're with the right person.
Speaker 5 (15:27):
Yes, no, I agree, And I feel like I've been
through a lot of guys that are just like not great,
and so to like be with somebody who truly just
like compliments my life and just makes me feel like
seen and just heard and just I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
It's just awesome and it's kind of hard.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
Like when you're in a relationship where it's like not
so good, you think that's the reality and you think
that's what you're gonna get every.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Time you're with somebody.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
So I feel like it's just like it takes time
to like actually find somebody that'll like give that to you.
But like that person will come along, like there's no
doubt that it will. It just is gonna take some
time and you're gonna have to go through a couple
of bad eggs before you find a good one.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Is he your first serious relationship? No, I've been in.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
I've been in a serious relationship like boyfriend and girlfriend,
and then I've been in another serious relationship that just
wasn't necessarily like official, but I would say it was
pretty serious.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, like your feelings were serious. Yes, yeah, so this
is exciting, Yes, this is this feels good, This feels great.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
I do I love an athlete for you? Yes, you,
but I just I don't know. I just oh, every
time your grind and your lifestyle is very much like that. Yes,
I need to get me some of that.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
You are not marrying an athlete. No no, no, no, no,
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
I want that athlete mentality.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
She's ready to become an athlete to discipline and.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yeah, like I like, I just think it's really good.
And I feel like having that as a partner is
probably just like so nice.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
It's so important, especially for the life that I have,
and that someone who like understands the work that you
have to put in is just really important.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
And I know that there's obviously that we were talking
about last season, the interest in your love life and
this season the interest in your love life. And I
feel like you're you share a lot, but you also
share a lot about your diabetes and your diagnosis. And
I want to talk about because I don't know. So
I know it's an autoimmune it's an autimmune disease, right,
So how does it affect you? How does it affect
your dancing? How does it affect your day to day?
Speaker 5 (17:23):
It affects my It takes over my life, like it
is something that is always on my mind. So basically
I have to be super aware of my blood sugars
at all times. Anytime I eat food that has carbs
in it, I have to give myself a shot of insulin.
So anytime, yes, anytime I eat food, So I have
to do about like i'd say, seven minimum shots every
(17:46):
single day. I have to always be aware because if
my blood sugar goes too low, I could literally die,
and so I have to be really aware that I'm
like keeping my blood sugar stable. If my blood sugger
gets too high, I'll feel super like yuck and just
like not good. And then later on in life it
can affect me like really poorly if I let my blood.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Sugars get too high.
Speaker 5 (18:06):
But it's something that like I really have to take
responsibility for because it is so important to you know,
take care of yourself with type one, because it's just
it's hard. And yeah, I know it's definitely hard with
dancing too, because like I dance so much and I'm
at the studio and I'm just so invested. The last
thing I want to think about is my blood sugar
and like whether or not I can eat this piece
(18:27):
of bread without insulin.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Just like kind of stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
So if you were to eat a salad, let's you
already a salad with like chicken, I you didn't, you
wouldn't have to do that.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
No, but like say there's like crotons or like dressing,
then yes, I would. So like there's certain like protein,
totally fine. So if I have like a steak, yes,
a steak, chicken, turkey, I can have all the cheese
I want. Yeah, that's basically it just like protein fats
just zero carbs.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
But I can eat carbs. I just have to get
myself insulin for it. How old were you when you
were diagnosed?
Speaker 5 (18:59):
I would sixteen years old, so it's been three years now.
It was the biggest live switch ever.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I was gonna say, but how did you find that out?
At sixteen?
Speaker 5 (19:08):
So I was in the heat of my dance season
and I was just super busy, so I was naturally
just I thought I was just really tired, really thirsty
experiencing all those symptoms, and I was.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Just like eating all the time, I was peeing all
the time.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
But I was just like, I'm so tired, I'm exhausted,
I'm traveling every weekend for dance, Like this just makes sense.
And then I remember I went to dance one day
and I like ate so much food because I was
just starving, and I passed out in my friend's car.
And then I went over to the hospital that day
and my blood sugar was onenty twenty three and it's
supposed to be eighty to one twenty.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Oh my god. Yes.
Speaker 5 (19:45):
So I was literally like I think if I wouldn't
have gone to the hospital that night and I would
have gone to bed, I think I would have died
that night because I was like really like I was
really close to like going into a coma and like
just craziest stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
So I got admitted to the hospital.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
I was there three days, and basically those three days
you're kind of just getting like fluids, getting your body right.
I was in the ICU for like the first night,
and then the rest of the days you're training because
diabetes is really hard, like it's a whole life switch,
and you need to know how to manage it. You
need to know how to give yourself shots, you need
to know how much to give yourself. You do to
(20:19):
know how to measure your blood sugar. You to learn
about all the devices that they have in technology. So
it was like a full three days of just training
to get me ready to go with life. And I
honestly haven't felt like set with diabetes or feel like
I have like really gotten it until about a year ago.
So it took me about two years to get like, Okay,
I can do this and I can manage it on
(20:40):
my own.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
But craziest life switch.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
But a good thing about it is I don't really
remember life before, Like I feel like I've always had
Type one throughout my whole life, Like I don't remember
just like chilling and eating food without thinking about my
blood sugar, which is really nice. So it's kind of
just this new life that I live. And some days
are harder than others. Some days I'm like why do
I have this? But some days I'm like, I'm good,
this is chill.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
So do you always just have the shots on you
at all times?
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yes, so I have.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
It's a little griggerated.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yes. So I have a little like cooler bag and
I put like a cold.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Gel pack in it every day before you leave the house.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
Yes, And then I just pack it with the needles
and the insulin and then go about my day. And
then I have a little sensor. Oh wait, I have
it on my arm. I have a little sensor on
my arm and it just tells me what my blood
sugar is.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Like every five minutes on your phone. Yeah, I like
bluetoothe to my phone. Whoa Yeah, So does it give
you like a warning if it's off?
Speaker 5 (21:29):
Yees, So it'll beep if it goes too low, and
then it'll beep if it's high. So I'm like, if
I'm in rehearsal it starts beeping, usually it'll be because
I'm low, and then I'll just like have a snack
and then get right back to it.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Do you feel like it almost made you, in a sense,
grow up faster because all of a sudden you're having
to pay attention to these things that yeah, most sixteen years.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Old, like I wouldn't even like you forget that there's
carbs in dress dressing?
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Yeah, literally, like, yes, no, it's actually crazy. I definitely
owe so many things to my diagnosis and getting Type
one because I think I was, like, I just matured
so quickly and I learned like how to grow up
and how to take responsibility for the things I was
doing because it is so important to be super smart
(22:28):
with diabetes and like one wrong move and you could
really affect your body. So yeah, I really had to
grow up, and I like I thank diabetes for that
because I don't think I would be where I'm at
and be able to do the things I do if
I wouldn't have gotten Type one, Yeah, would have taken
that responsibility for myself.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
And it was like the first six.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
Months of having diabetes, I felt like I had grown
up like three years.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Like it's just so crazy.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
But so cool, and now I get to like talk
about it and be a voice for it, because like
when I was first diagnosed, I'd always wish that I
could like have somebody to like help me and like
give me pointers or tell me, like it's going to
be okay, your life is going to remain the same,
because I didn't think it was.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
I didn't think I was going to be able to dance.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
Really and so to be able to like be that
for somebody else, it's just so special.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
It's really cool because so many I mean I literally
am like a fangirl for you, and I'm thinking about
all these younger girls seeing you, like literally thinking about
these younger girls who may be a dancer and an
athlete and also diagnose with type one diabetes and they
see someone that they like love, Yeah, doing it with
so much grace and strength. It's really cool. Thank you.
I'm so so happy you're so open to talk about that.
(23:36):
It's really important. Yeah, I know that means a lot.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
And I think like also too, when you hear autoimmune disease,
like it's just it can be like very scary and
it comes in so many shapes and forms, and I
feel like you're when you take ownership of it, it's
like a really cool thing. Yes, yeah, and I feel
like you're doing that.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Is that something when you started dating Walker your boyfriend?
Is that something like you had to have a like talk.
Is there something that like he needs to know as
your partner, you know, if something happens, like he needs
to be ready to like step in.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
No, I've already like given him basically all the training.
He like knows exactly what I need and like knows
what I need based on what my blood sugar is.
So basically this DEXCM thing that I have on you
can like add.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
People to your app so they can have access to
your blood sugar.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
And so I added him to mine. Like the only
other person I have on that is my mom.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
So that's bigger than I love you, I feel, I know, yes, literally,
so he knows my blood sugar at all times.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Sometimes he'll be like, I just like checked your blood
sugar today for fun. I'm like, that's cute. Location is
blood sugar.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
But yeah, no, so he basically knows everything. I've kind
of just tried to coach him as much as I
can as we've been together.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
But it's cool to see that and like.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
How much he cares about it and how much he
like wants to make sure I'm good all the time.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
I don't know, it's just when is you have that conversation.
Was it like first date, second date?
Speaker 5 (25:04):
Yeah, so it was I think around like second or
third date. I remember my our first date, I like
didn't need insulin for the food we were eating cause
my boods shirk was low, so I didn't pull it out.
But then once I pull it out on the second date,
he was I was like, oh, I have type one diabetes.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
It's always the most awkward thing to bring up something.
But let me just like put a shot on my
stea real quick.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
No, but I think a lot of people deal with
stuff like that, whether it's diabetes. Yeah, it's something that
is like kind of awkward. It's awkward to bring up,
and I feel like it's always in your approach, you
know what I mean, Like you could sit there and
you can say like.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Oh, excuse me, embarrassed, but.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Now you were like I have diabetes, like I gotta
you know. Yeah, I think it's all in like the
mindset that you like bring in the approach that you
bring to it.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Yes, I agree.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
I think it's more just like I don't care and
if it's like if you have there's no way you'll
have a problem with it, but like if you have
a problem with it, then like why.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Are we here?
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Right right? Yeah, So I don't know.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
I feel like when I first did that, I was
just like, yeah, I have type on. He's like wait
what And then I kind of just like told him
the story of like how it all happened and stuff.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
But yeah, okay, I want to talk about Dancing with
the Stars because I we've had Whitney, and we had
we had Whitney and Danny, we had Joey and Jenna,
and we really feel like we're like auditioning for I
love it, but we gosked him. Like first of all,
this season is like, in my opinion, one of the
best cast the show has ever had. Everyone is the
(26:28):
best I'm just like, it's never it's it feels competitive
in the sense that the dancing is so great, but
also just like such a lovable group of people. So
as when you got paired with Steven, were you so excelled?
What was your reaction when you found out? Because he's
an Olympian, so you know he's got the.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Work effic Yes, No, I was so happy, Like just
immediately from the gecko his energy coming into the room,
I was just like, oh, oh, we're here, and this
feels great and we're happy. I don't know, he's just
such a happy guy and he exudes so much light
and happiness, and that's just somebody I want to be around.
(27:06):
And I feel like we are very similar in that
way that we just like always have good positive mindsets
to like everything that we do. So that was really helpful.
And then the fact that he is an athlete. He
literally just came from the Olympics like he is in
tiptop shape.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
He works so hard, like literally so.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
Hard, and I was just so blessed that he was
the person that walked into the room. But it has
been honestly the best season. It's been so fun.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
The whole cast is just so special and.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
Like we're all so kind and supportive of each other,
like honestly, every time someone goes home, I'm like, wait,
that was really sad. Like it's just like we've built
this strong relationship with everybody that's been really special, and
Steven has just been the best and we're having so
much fun.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
I can't believe.
Speaker 5 (27:49):
It's like literally almost the end, Like, h it's so sad,
but it's gone by so quickly, so it's just crazy.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Did you so, Ezra, this was his first season as
a pro and you said he's on your best Friends?
Is her best friend from you told her just from
being on the show from Utah? So I've known him
literally my entire life. Yeah, I didn't realize that. That
is so fun Okay, he was so entertaining to watch
on TikTok, his obsession of well, first of all, him
(28:16):
having Annadelvey as his partner, so crazy tattoo.
Speaker 5 (28:20):
Yeah No, he's just psyiconic and it's just so funny.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
And I loved following the whole globe and brooking and
then and so much.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
Like he's really literally he's so good at it, Like
I just he is like the most perfect person to
put on the show, Like I think he has like
made a light out of crazy situations, Like I think
if anyone else would have been partnered with Anna Deelvey
and had her say nothing like she came from nothing?
Wait did she take away.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
To take away nothing?
Speaker 5 (28:55):
Like? I don't know. I think Ezra has handled it
such a pro and he's like turn a negative into
a positive so quickly.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
I'm so proud of him for that because like so
many people.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
Would easily just be like, eh, well there's a bad season, then,
like what can you do about it? But he's just
made it and turned it around and made it to
his own benefit. And I'm just like, wow, you go.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Because that is just so awesome. Like I feel like
if that happened to me, I'd just be like me too.
Speaker 5 (29:19):
I.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Just I can't do this anymore? Me too, Yeah, literally
would have broken me. No, literally said nothing after what
their experience is working with literally like.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Okay, but you can't take that seriously, you know, no, no, no, yeah,
but I would you would internalize.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Yeah yeah, Garly when you're watching these couples, because you
were the one last season who was speculated about in
a romantic relationship and I feel like when there's two
single people who are paired together, it naturally happens, like
it's a part of the show. And I also think
there's I'm curious if there's an element where if you're
one of those people, you're like, let's use it to
(29:58):
our advantage because people are invested in our relationship. They
want to see us on the show for longer. Yeah,
do you have any details on any of the Jen
and Sasha or I mean, Jen and Sasha have natural chemistry.
Speaker 5 (30:14):
I have no idea if they are dating or not,
but they have the most beautiful chemistry together and I
ship them so hard, like just watching them like interact,
like it is very natural, and what they post online
is very much what they are in person.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
And so I am a total like route for Gen.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
And Sasha because I think they would be so cute
together bricks and glebe no idea.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
I can't tell what's.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
Going on that I like, I wish I knew what
was going on right now. Well, he was at her house,
like he posted a TikTok like literally in her living room,
but then told me and as a rehearsal it was
his living room, Like that's not the same, that's not
it like you are in her living room.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
We have done the research, but none of us know
what's going on with that.
Speaker 5 (31:04):
But I will say they had great chemistry from what
I saw, and even off the camera they're very together.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
I think.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
I don't know, but they're crazy.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Yeah, it's been it's been like a saga off the show.
It's like we're following like a soap opera.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
The star season has been literally likes just like a
total saga.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
They should do a show called Beyond Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
And it's like following everyone outside of like rehearsals.
Speaker 5 (31:30):
No, I agree, or like the pros like falling along
with our life and what it looks like outside of
Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Y'all should pitch that. Yeah, we should open.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
I feel like it's probably already been pitched, like I
I would imagine it's been pitched.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
After this season.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Yeah yeah, but actually, so you brought it up because
the season is coming to an end. So when this
season wraps up, do they, as a pro dancer, do
they like say, oh, we want you for next season
or do you just go season by season and then
they like pick you up?
Speaker 5 (31:58):
You go season by season, so they'll pick you up
literally two weeks before you need to be down there.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
Oh yeah wow yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:04):
So and then when does the next season start? Do
you know?
Speaker 5 (32:07):
It'll start same time this year, so like August September.
I think we don't know official dates yet, but I
think it's around that same time. So basically, after this season,
we do a tour. US pro dancers go and do
a tour and celebrities come on the tour as well.
But that happens for about three months, and that's January
through March, and then I am home for all of
(32:29):
the summer, just traveling though.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
I'm just kind of like doing my own thing.
Speaker 5 (32:32):
And then we'll get a call about two weeks before
we need to be down here again, and you're either
on or you're not. That you don't know until then,
which is kind of crazy.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
You did tour last year, though, right, was that your
first time? Yes? How was that experience? Because you're like
living on a bus. Tanya loves the idea of a
tour bus. I find it daunting, but it's so cute,
so fun. No, literally, it was so much fun.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
Like I thought, like I had heard from people like
my sister, like she she loved touring, but like the
bunks and like the travel was just not her thing.
But for me, I was like I adapted so well,
like had the mess sleeps on the tour bus, Like.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Living out of a suitcase has never really been my thing.
Speaker 5 (33:12):
I've never been good at packing, like my mom always
used to pack for me. But somehow I went out
on tour and it was just like so fun. I'm
just like young too, so I feel like it was
just exciting for me and to be in a new
city and like see that many places in that period
of time, which just so cool. And also performing every
single night for people that are just cheering for you
and that love you and like support you is so
(33:35):
surreal and so cool, and it was like one of
the most fulfilling experiences I've ever had.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
So it's really so fun. Yeah, I loved it.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Yeah, I feel like tours, Like, to me, tour's like
a sorority.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
I knew you were gonna say that, Yeah, Like that's
what I have.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
That's like kind of the like the the camaraderie and
the I don't know, the togetherness that like I feel
is kind of the same.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (33:57):
No, we're all just like hanging out like on the bus,
like in tight quarters. But it's so fun and it's
like you learn something new about each person every single
day and you're just like, Wow, you're so funny or
you're crazy.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
You do come from a family of dancers, and did
you feel, first of all, is there a world where
you and Lindsay could or would be on the same
season together? Is that like a dream? Oh?
Speaker 5 (34:22):
Yes, that is like one of my biggest dreams. I
think I would love that so much. Well, I would
love that so much. But just Lindsay right now, she's
just like mom life and it's so hard to commute
down here, oh yeah, with kids, and it just makes
things like pretty tricky. But I think we have to
figure it out at least one of these times, because
it would be.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
So fun, like literally so fun. But your other you're
is it four girls?
Speaker 5 (34:47):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (34:48):
Or four girls? So there's I have three older sisters, okay,
so and everyone's a dancer, right, yes?
Speaker 5 (34:53):
So we all Yeah, we all grew up dancing. My
mom owned a dance studio like the first like ten
years of my life, and so she kind of just
like made a little hub for us, got like the
best coaches and we all just kind of grew up
dancing together. And then Lindsay went and to Dance with
the Stars. My second sister was on soete can Dance,
(35:13):
and then Brindley, my closest sister, she danced all the
way until high school and went to nursing school and
then there's me.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
So it was so fun and it was so cool
to like.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
I don't know, it's not like you go to dance,
but it's like because we were with our sisters, we
were all just getting close and tight because were all
going to dance together and like all just like hanging
out at the studio. And then my mom owned the studio,
so she was with us all day every day, and
I don't know, it was just like really fun like
family affair that we had.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
When you were going on Dancing with the Stars the
last year, did Lindsay give you and what was her
advice for you going on the show, Because beyond the
dancing and like having to the core, we our minds
are blown by the choreography that you'll just come up
with multiple dances. I just can't process. It's crazy. But
there's the production of it. There's you know, having people
trying to create a story in a sense. So did
(36:18):
she give you any advice that you really held onto? Yeah, No,
she gave me so much advice, Like Lindsay is.
Speaker 5 (36:25):
I call her every single day for simply like how
do I respond to this text?
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Like how do I respond to this person?
Speaker 5 (36:32):
Like? She helps me every step of the way. But
I think one of the biggest things that she said
to me that I took away was just always remain yourself, Like,
always stay true to who you are, remember who you
are as a person, and like, no matter what people say,
no matter what happens out there, remember who you are
and remember what makes you really happy in life.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
And that just kind of I put that thought.
Speaker 5 (36:54):
In my mind throughout the whole entire season, because again,
so many things happened for me, and it was a
huge year, and I don't think Lindsay even experienced the
kind of like craziness that my life entiled last year,
and how open my.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Like everything was right.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
So it's like what she had said to me helped
me so much just realize, like all of this is
so crazy, but what really matters is who I am
and what I stand for and what I believe in.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
And that's all I can focus on.
Speaker 5 (37:23):
And if people like me, they like me, and if
they don't, they can kindly unfollow. And it's just kind
of one of those things where it's just like people
are gonna like me for me, and they liked me
because of how I was in the beginning. So I'm
just gonna remain the same and try to stay as
much positive, like have this much positive attitude about like
everything that's going on.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Yeah, it's so true though, because TikTok opened this whole
new world of people to have opinions and speculate, and
likely someone can just make a video about their opinion
and it can go viral and they almost spark other
people to like have that same opinion. It's kind of
a weird thing that happens with Tick. And even when
when I was on The Bachelor years ago, they didn't
(38:03):
have that, and I'm like, thank god, yeah, thank god
that wasn't there.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
Literally just pick up part every everything detail.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
No, Lindsay was like there was no social media in
my first season of Dances Stars, Like literally all people
saw was the TV screen and she was like people
didn't talk about it, like there was Twitter, Like she
didn't really look at Twitter, but like that was basically it.
So she was like, it was so crazy, Like to
go on TikTok and just have it be about you
is just insane, and like to have that like openness
(38:30):
about it.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
It's just so crazy.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Do you go in and look for it or do
you try to avoid it?
Speaker 5 (38:35):
I try to avoid it, Like I definitely want to,
like when I'm not working, I want.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
To just like focus on life it just myself.
Speaker 5 (38:43):
It was really hard last year because it was like
anytime I'd go on my TikTok for you page, my
videos would be about me and Harry and I just
be like, I can't escape it.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
It was just like a lot.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
It was really fun though, and like I enjoyed it,
but at the same time, I was just like I'd
rather about something else other than like what's going on
in my life right now, you know.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
So I'm tired of seeing Harry's face. I'm seeing him
at rehearsals, and.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
That's power because I think I would be the opposite.
I feel like I would be watching like get like
one mean comment, I go and I like look that
person's profile to find out everything I can find out.
Speaker 5 (39:17):
I did have that problem in the beginning, Like I
was so invested in what people were saying. Yeah, like
if there was any hate, I was like I need
to know, like is there more?
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Like what else are they saying about me?
Speaker 5 (39:26):
Like I was so invested in that, and like specifically
just this last summer, there were so many things that
were happening in my life and so many things that
were coming out, and I got so sucked into Reddit,
like so sucked in, and like I let it literally
take over my life, Like I let those people's opinions
of how everything in my life was going on like
(39:48):
affect me. And I like had to have a power
with my sisters just kind of like Riley, like it
does not matter, Like what these people say does not matter.
And there's so many people that love and support you
and want the best for you. And it's like even
looking at like there were mean ones, but there was
a lot of support ones. But even looking at that
and trying to look through your life in comments and
(40:12):
on a Reddit page, it's just not how you should live,
even if it's positive, even if they're lifting you up,
it's just not how you should.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
Look at it.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
And these are still just all these hairy mean ones. Yes,
but what was so let's just say you guys were dating.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
What's so bad about that? Wasn't it? Didn't it come
out that he was dating someone else? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
thank you.
Speaker 5 (40:36):
I was I was like yeah, I was like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, okay, I know it was kind of crazy, yes.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
But yeah's over here, no worries.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
No, I do think you're so right. It's like you
as as yeah, that's as to read the negative comments.
It's all so not realistic to see people just like
constantly complimenting you or talking about how beautiful you are.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
Because that's not life either, Like you're not like it
feels good, but it's.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Like if you let your like day be affected by
how many nice comment you readers, how many badly comment
read it's like that's not life like, that's not how
we're meant to live. And it's like our brains we
were not created to process so many people's opinions on
who we are. Yeah, don't know us exactly exactly.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
I feel like once the season wraps, is it like
a weird It must be because you're dancing all day
every day. Your schedule during this season is.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
Like so wild.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
And then it just stops. I know you go on tour,
but like is it like a crazy kind of like
juxtaposition like after the season finale.
Speaker 5 (41:45):
Yeah. No, I think I feel the weirdest after tour
because it's like once you're done with the season, it's
like you go straight to tour and it's just like
crazy life. Once you get back, it's the weirdest feeling.
It's like you don't like every time you sit still,
you're just like, no, I shouldn't be sitting still. Like
I remember last year, I traveled just about anywhere and
everywhere because I was just like I can't sit still.
(42:07):
But it's this crazy feeling of just because you're used
to that, you're just used to that go go go,
especially on tour, Like it's just so crazy to like
take a moment.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
But like it takes you like a month or.
Speaker 5 (42:17):
Two to be able to be like Okay, I can
breathe now, Like I can just sit at home and
like chill. But like for those first two months you're
kind of just like I need to keep moving and
doing stuff because it's just you go, go, go.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
And then just to stop is just like it's pretty abrupt. Well,
you know, having like sold out crowd screaming for you
every night. So it's like to go home to your
silent home. Yeah, this is weird. You walk in your house,
it's silent. You're like, I'm like, no attention. Have you
and Walker talked about how y'all are going to navigate
because you'll be long distance? Yeah, right, Sad, I've all
(42:50):
talked about it because yeah, yeah, it's going to be
an adjustment. Yeah, no, we've talked about it.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
For what's nice about tour is every week I have
a day off and it's in a different city. So
we're planning on like finding days off where he can
come and see me because I can't leave.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
Yeah, Like I can't really leave unless I have like
a double day off or multiple days off.
Speaker 5 (43:10):
So we're going to try and coordinate where he can
like spend a day off with me and be there
with me. But the nice thing about it is it's
kind of his off season for football when I'm on tour,
so he is able to travel and do things a
little bit more than he would now.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
So we're gonna see how that goes.
Speaker 5 (43:27):
But like my oldest sister Lindsay, she did long distance
with her boyfriend and she's given me some pointers on
how it all works. But I think it'll be great
because he's just awesome and like texting and calling is
just enough for us.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
So I think it'll be good. Y'all are gonna figure
it out. Yeah, we'll figure it out. The invisible strings
always figure it out, always pulls you back together. Yes,
it's true. Yeah, Okay, who in this in the cast
of Dents and the stars with who's left? Who do
you find to be your biggest competition? Ooo? That's a
good question. I don't know. Everyone is really good. Yeah,
(44:03):
it's a strong it's a strong final. Is it? Final five?
Right now? Final six? Sick? Yeah? Six.
Speaker 5 (44:10):
Joey is really good, Like he's just a really good
dancer and he's just so like charismatic and people love him.
Danny's getting really good, like he is showing so much improvement.
I know, people love like a climbing story like rising
to the occasion. Chandler's also just so good, like so good.
She's just been really good throughout this whole season. And
(44:32):
then Alona, I'm.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Just obsessed with her.
Speaker 5 (44:34):
She's just a queen and like she's like improving every
single episode, and like I just she makes my heart
so happy and everything she stands for is just so amazing.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
And then Dwight is.
Speaker 5 (44:45):
Just I don't know, everyone's just so good. Like Dwight
is so good, he's improving. He has such a fun personality.
Like whoever goes home next week? Like I'm scared, like
because it's like everyone is so good and I literally
do not know who's gonna go home?
Speaker 2 (44:59):
Like, actually, is there a bond between Stephen and Alona
because of the Olympic connection?
Speaker 5 (45:06):
Yeah, I feel like I like find them talking about
it a lot, and they're just like really cute when
they like interact because they're both like I don't just
have that athlete mentality. But the funny thing is they
never really interacted that at the Olympics because it's just
like so.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
Big their events never really like crossed over.
Speaker 5 (45:21):
But like to see them talk and like have this
like competitive like funny, like Banter is just really funny.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
I love it. I love her. Yeah, No, she is
the best. Yeah, Like I just love her so much.
Speaker 5 (45:33):
And she's so funny, Like anytime you talk to her,
you'll just laugh, like literally beat your pants.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
She's so funny. She's so funny. She's so good on TikTok. Oh,
so I feel like you all too, are both like
the TikTok. Yeah, TikTok of the group. She's very Yes,
what's coming up this next week for a Dance to
the Stars dance twice?
Speaker 5 (45:50):
Yes, it's so we're recreating an iconic dance that it
existed before on the show.
Speaker 3 (45:55):
Can you tell us much one you're doing?
Speaker 5 (45:56):
Yes, So I'm doing Charlie and Marx Vieni's waltz from
C thirty one.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
Oh so iconic, so amazing, truly one of the best
dances I think Dancing Stars has ever had. So it's
a lot to live up to.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
But honestly, like me and Steven are we know we're
not as good as Charlie and Markure, and we like
just we kind of have that mentality. But for us,
like it's one of the most perfect dances to showcase
Steven's like growth and how much he has become a dancer.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
And the Vinie Waltz is a very technical dance.
Speaker 5 (46:26):
So I think if we can go out there and
like really just showcase that, I think people will be
really proud of Steven.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
I'll be really proud of Steven.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
Because it's hard, but he really has become a dancer
and I really want people to see that because he's
learned so much and I don't know, he's just so special,
So I hope people see it.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
I love that. I love that this season you got
to have a partner where it was like there's been
so much focus of on Yell's friendship and just like
your relationship as dance partners and the growth that he's had.
And yeah, and then like I think people just love you.
So I think people are just always going to be
rooting for you and whoever you wish, whoever you're with. Yeah,
my final question if you I know, y'all don't get
(47:04):
to choose your partner. It's always a surprise, is what
we told. What we were told. If you got to
choose your dream partner, who would it be?
Speaker 5 (47:13):
Oh, my top probably Justin Bieber.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
Oh, like he would be really good, really good.
Speaker 5 (47:22):
Everyone would love him obviously, and like I've had a
crush on him since I was like six years old,
So I think it would just be like the ultimate dream.
He would never do it, and that's not really realistic,
but you know.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
That I was asking for a dreamt.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
For the stars or what is it for the moon
and you land amongst the stars?
Speaker 2 (47:42):
Yes, exactly, You're like, and I'm in love with him.
Walker's like I will be at rehearsal every day.
Speaker 4 (47:51):
Like he's married, he has a kid. Okay, I'm not
worried about him, Sonny. Thank you so much for taking
guys so fun.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
We're rooting for you. Where can people follow you? And
I feel like people are already following you, but just
in case they're not.
Speaker 5 (48:08):
Yes, on Instagram you can find me at Riley Arnold
one TikTok Riley Arnold and then Snapchat where I post
just like all my bts of life.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
It's just Riley Arnold as well. Perfect. And then what's
the text for to vote? Oh? Yes, text Steven to
two one, five to three ten times and it's Steve
O a pH pH yea. Yeah. Just gonna clarify. Yeah,
you have to do it right, it doesn't count. Yeah. Literally,
Thank you, Riley, thank you so much.
