of Caramel by this day.
Speaker 3 (00:48):

preparation ahead. Do we have any clip of that? Do

the seventeenth inaugural or invited annual Pebble Beach I Heart events, right,
(01:23):
I will tell you At my first I Heart Events,
I was the oldest person at the event. Everyone was
an influencer. I thought like they were barely legal. It

Speaker 3 (02:35):
The best part was there was a there was the
Kowalski Bart Mitzvah that was happening right behind us, and
they were all focused right on what you were saying
the whole time.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, I was also the briss uh at at another
event right across the in the dessert lounge, and I
will say this, You know, it was a busy night
for me. I was working a lot of tables. We
had some new specials coming out tonight, which I wanted
to make sure that everyone was aware of.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
The soup and kid and you and you did some
break dancing on the out and the karaoke did But
thanks for sharing your gift with.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Us, you know what. Thank you, Thanks for allowing me,
Thanks for giving me the stage with which to do so,
the platform I'm a giver to share. You are a
giver and I love you for it. And I will
say this, you are almost as good looking as Trista,
and therefore I shouldn't have said that. That was that
was not nice, cheap.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Dig But luckily to bring the average up tonight, we've
got a new guest in.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
The k train for the o.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
G After Hours Golden Bachelor.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
After Dark special, Keith Keith, what's your last name?
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Keith?
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Gordon, Keith Gordon.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
By way, I'm totally cracking up here because Trista will
come in here from her tough whatever she's doing, and
kick all her asses.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Oh, without question, without questions. She always does t bone.
We call her so KG. You're coming in hot tonight,
coming off of it's late. Yeah, you were at the
jaeger looge there at the there should have been that way.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Didn't Why didn't I hear sponsor that.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
I think we're keeping and there actually might be some
background video of dancing at the bars with Keith with
the stars.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
There's a little dance at the bar. Was a little
dancing at the bar.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I like dancing.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Actually dancing likes you too, from the way that you
were moving. Dancing is kind to you.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
I feel like I'm gonna go carry on an a
on this one. And I don't want to see as
many lifts on the floor.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
I was just out there. There was music. Gary was
trying to sing. The music was flowing. I mean, there's
a dance floor.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Well you have to do it there. You don't leave
that thing empty.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
No, I'm a big boy. I'm a big boy dance floor.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
I fill a dance if you find somebody else is
willing and you spin it.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
You felt that space, so you to get it straight
here you were a Purdue boiler Maker, Is that correct?
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Well you learned that tonight because I suck as a
Michigan State spar that.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Was going to go there. Yeah, I don't know. I
don't remember the.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Last time, by the way I'm gonna go, I was
a fight out from Purdue. I just want to shout
out to my bros. There you go. But yeah, totally,
you love it.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
I don't remember the last time Purdue finish in the top.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Football nothing, I will give you that. But I always
go to basketball, and people are like basketball.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
To Michigan, stay for basketball.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Come on, I know we rock, no, but we're killing
you in basketball issue. In the last few years. We
have got big Maple now on Memphis, but we're still
killing it right now.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Football squad is incredibly tough right now from what I understand.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
And I'll tell you think that right now.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
What the bachel crowd does not care about is football
or basketball or bad. What they do care about is
the purpose of being here this week is to go
and reconnect with some of your old school buddies from
the show which was really fun to watch you guys tonight,
like all hanging out and like connect again.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
I can tell you guys are like really good.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
No, it's actually I didn't know K was going to
be here this week, and oh Sin he called me.
He's like, dude, where I was going to pick up
Gary from the airport and he's like, K called me.
He's like, dude, where are you? Like, Dude, my car
is too small. I'm like, dude, Gary's a big boy.
Like I get there's two of us. And then it's like, well,
no guys here and blah blah. So there's no way
(06:24):
I'm picking up anybody. But it doesn't matter who it is.
I guarantee you our season was God, I hate you
the word magical. God. You know. Now Chalk's gonna go
like hit me, but no, it was. We We're such
good bros out on there. I mean, Pascal, Jordan, Mark
(06:46):
uh uh, k, Gary, Chalk uh Greg, I mean I'll
go I Charles, let me keep going, now, Bob, we
we talked all the time. We talk text. I should
say we text three four times a week. Everybody knows
what everybody's doing at any single month. That's nice.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
So where do they? Like, how how did the show
find you? I mean, I'm pretty sure that you found
them or you were like a bright shining light, because
you have a magnetic personality and like, like you are
so fun to be I've only met you tonight, but
like you're obviously like a big personality, a very genuine
and fun thank you personally, but like, how did you connect.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
With I've been watching the show for By the way,
I don't know everything, but I've been watching the show
for twenty years. Like Trista when we talk about she
is Trista Ryan. That was the season, sorry, Bob, and I
don't remember, but but no, I remember them. I remember
there was a sunset going on. They were on a
(07:52):
hill talking. He's the fireman from Denver or whatever. I
just remember everything about and it was and that locked
me into the show. So how did I get on it?
So now I'm watching it over the seasons and whatever
and November of whatever, what was that twenty twenty three?
I was watching Gary season he was the Golden Bachelor. Yeah,
and I said Efitt and you know it had been
(08:14):
a couple of bottles winey and probably popped then other way,
and I just started. My daughter was sitting next to
me and like, help me out filling this out?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And how old is your daughter?
Speaker 1 (08:23):
She was twenty three at the time, and so I'm
going like, help me figure this out. And then I'm
like she was telling me what to answer. I'm like, yeah, no,
you're out of here. I'm going to do it myself.
I just did a paragraph paragraph. But I think I
was the only guy who actually did it on my own. Yeah,
everybody else had somebody else, or maybe they're just saying
(08:45):
that they did.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
But I because were you motivated because you watched Joones
season and you knew the franchise and everything, but you
were like, Okay, I feel like I could. If she's
going to be the Bachrett, I think I could.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
I needed something different my life, dating differently, whatever. I
just need to change things up. I mean, I'm not
a big app guy or whatever that and dating. I
just said, do something different in your life, and so
I did it. And here, yeah, sitting in a freaking
talking to you guys, I don't know now, it's just
(09:17):
you know, it was just chill and I did. But
I'm so so happy I did it. The guys that
I met, it was an experience of how do I say,
we all talked it was therapy. Yeah, we all grew right,
we all learned about ourselves. We grew up here we
(09:38):
are six year old dudes, and we're still growing up
and learning about ourselves and how we interact with people,
date guys. What it was a good time. That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
So there's always something positive I think that comes out
of the show if you've had a like authentic experience.
So what aside from learning about yourself is there? What's
the positive thing that came out of the show.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
I'll go a couple of different positive things. One is
it is a learning about yourself. But the biggest positive
thing is I got a big personality and I always
hide my heart and love behind it. I shield myself
behind this personality and talk to me. These guys on
the show. The got to Hay using the V word
(10:22):
vulnerability whatever. But that's what we did, and I decided,
you know, it's okay to be me and still have
love and show it and show sensitivity. I was talking
to one of the guys tonight and it was and
you talk about dating, it's okay, don't laugh at the
(10:44):
sensitive moment when that woman you're dating, or when she
has a sensitive moment or a serious moment, don't laugh
at all or make a bigger joke about it. Understand it.
I'm a sensitive guy, and so let her know that
I actually understand what she's saying instead of trying to
make something like yeah. And I think that's a big thing.
And then the second thing is I've always had a
(11:06):
big bro crew. I mean, I've got my fraternity brothers.
We just had our fortieth reunion. And the one thing
I learned though, is a lot of these guys didn't
have bros. They dated more than I did. They were
always on apps and doing whatever, and I didn't do that.
But I'm okay with that. But I'm so happy to
(11:28):
have a new bro crew. And it's different. It's different
than the ones you had that you were from college,
or the couple three guys that you have now in
your older days. This is a group that we've gone
through similar experiences now and it's about love and sensitivity
and just you know the whole emotional experience of I
(11:53):
don't think people get it. You watch it on TV
and you just think it's about trying to meet up
and eight and end up with this person, there's an
emotional experience that happens. Well, you're going through this, do
you like her and be here for the When they
say be here for the right reasons, you mean you
may not. No, you may know that you're not going
(12:18):
to end up with her, but you're still growing in
her or there for the right reason, right.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
For you being a fan for twenty years? Was it
after full circle? Now you're on the show. Right, you've
watched it for twenty years. Now you're on the show.
Was it what you expected it to be or was it?
Was it a lot different?
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Yeah? So I thought there'd be a lot more scripting.
I thought there'd be uh fan you know, you get
the producer picks. Yeah. The biggest questions I get coming
back are was there a producer pick? Who got to
go on? Did they tell you what to say? Did
they do that? I want to tell them no, No,
it is you get to say what you want to say. Sure, Sure,
(13:06):
some of the edits are going to be a little
different or you know, oh I said this, you know
you hear it in any sports context or whatever. But
in general, it's what you see is what you get.
I'm you know, for all the people I tell them,
I go, there are no producer picks. You can pick
one or two and you pick a friend. You know,
(13:28):
Joan had several people to pick from, maybe on I
don't know what episodes, but she has several people to
pick from. Okay, I know I'm not going to take
these two people, but I'm going to take the one
that at least I'm a friend with. So that's not
a producer pick. That's just her picking a friend and
going you know, you know, I just want to be
around you. You're comforting to me. I feel good.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
So right now we're seeing this Keith two point zero
released out of the show.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
So now my buddies would say this might be point five.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Keith two point five, then I'm gonna I'm gonna two
to that. So what's life like now afterwards? I mean,
after're going through it and having probably learned something about
yourself little confidence and like, so what.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Was there's different confidence in life? It's not about so
I think I'm dating the same, but I have a
different criteria sounds so you know, like I've got zero's
and one spons affectation. Yeah, but it but I now
know I can see red flags I can just go
(14:35):
you know what, I like you, but maybe you know
we can be friends. But I'm gonna move on to
something else. And I'm just more focused I think in
dating more than anything. It's not about quantity at all.
It's about by the way, your dms blow up on
this freaking thing. It's oh my god. We talked about
(14:57):
it today. I've talked about it since the day. Again,
as I told you, we talk about everything. All the
guys do. A lot of guys already have new girlfriends
and doing everything, but I don't. But it's are you
are you?
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Are you not looking for a girlfriend?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
I am. I'm looking for the I'm looking we talked about,
I'm taking I'm looking for a partner in life right now.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Okay, so let's let's put real life away celebrity crush.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Like Margo Robie. Was that too quick? Probably? Uh of
Wall Street? Got come on?
Speaker 4 (15:39):
But but you are you are open to dating?
Speaker 1 (15:42):
You are?
Speaker 4 (15:43):
You are?
Speaker 1 (15:44):
But you are?
Speaker 4 (15:45):
But you are in.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
But you're you're looking and probably know better what you're
looking for than you had.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
That's the one thing. I know better what I'm looking
for more than anything. That's I think that's the key to.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Let me ask you this question. So if you meet
if you meet someone you guys seem to be hitting
it off and she actually does recognize you from the show,
is that a turn on or is that a turnoff?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Neither? I By the way, it's probably initially just an
ego thing. It's totally a turn on. For sure, it's
an ego thing. But automatically now because of the show
and everything, I just know I'm learning. Got sixty two
years old and I'm still learning how to grow up. Sure, hey,
(16:29):
this is to my three daughters. I'm still growing up.
I mean it's like, yeah, it's yeah, I'm still growing
up with it. But I know what I want and
I want somebody to want me as much as I
want them. I think that's at the end of the day,
that's what you. I think.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
There's not a person in this room that doesn't agree
with that statement.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Yeah, you can chase all day. You chase or they
chase you, and you do you know, just be honest
stuff front. That's the other thing I've learned is be
more honest upfront and tell.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Them flaws and all. It's good to get it out there.
We were laughing about that tonight. Actually you're watching me
talk to Kenyon, and you're like, you're not worried. I'm
not worried.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
No, I love that. By the way, your interaction with
her is similar to what I think I would like
with somebody. I always love the fact that you can
with your partner. You can joke, but there's a realness
behind it. I hope you understand what that means. I
tell you, do I don't know you dating?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
No, No, he's I've been married for I don't know.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
Yeah, so his.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Wife is spectacular. Yeah, she's She She and Canyon get
along great, and they're very very like she's I mean
you talk about like watching a couple interact. The two
of them are magic.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
It really is. Really is he similar to that's But
I want somebody that I could joke with but also
be serious with, Like when the serious moments happen, you
want to be serious with it. But I also there
are certain times where I just want to have fun.
(18:13):
And by the way, there are going to be times
where she wants to have fun and I don't. But
I have to realize at the moment.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
I honestly cannot imagine a time I've known you for
six hours.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
You don't want to have fun.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Yeah, there are times where I need I need to
be serious, but you're seeing the fun me. But yeah,
I do have a serious sight. Yeah, the sensitive Can
I tell you this a serious side. I have a
sensitive side. By the way, there's it's not that I
(18:47):
have attention to detail, but I love detail. It's there
are certain things in life that I like that I
need somebody to bring into my life to focus me
to do it. And I'm okay with that, and I'm
going to be scolded like a little kid probably, but
it's it's it's not that I'm mature. I just know
what I need and there's going to be somebody with
(19:08):
a personality that has that in them. And then on
the other side, we're just going to go have fun
and experience life. It's not about traveling all over the world.
I would love to do that, but it's about what
about your staycation. Why don't we just go into the
city like San Francisco and just do a day thing
and spend the night. Why don't we just go down
(19:29):
the coast to you know, Pismo or whatever. I go
Avla Beach.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Well, no, not real, San Francisco the Niners guy.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah, yeah, well I did. I did root for the Lions, No,
because I want to and and I couldn't believe that
the Washing or whatever their name is, the football team whatever,
that they beat them. But this was your year. Seriously,
you're gonna lose some coaches.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yeah, we already lost them. Yeah yeah, but yeah, I
know who's your team?
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Niners?
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, thank you. God. You're a great guy. You're the
best host here.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Ever, isn't he all right? You watched for twenty years.
Let's go through it real quick. Most dramatic breakup moment ever.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Most dramatic breakup. You know it's not a breakup. Can
I go with this? I love it When Colton was
on that island or whatever and she bolted or he
traced after and he had to jump the fans. I
don't think that's a breakup, hang on breakup. But that
was a really good one. That was by the way,
that was a good drama.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
It's very good, very good drama. And he scaled that
fence and his business, by.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
The way, like nobody's missess shout, I mean no, and
then you ran forever and the cameras couldn't keep up.
That was actually pretty cool too, Lightning speed keep going.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I was thinking of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Remember that one, Jake, see you'd use last names. And
I don't remember last night.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Jay in Vienna when they did the whole special about
the breakup.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, that was because I used it on one of
my last ones. But this whole last season with Jen Yeah,
and that, this whole last season with hers just sucked.
I didn't like it at all. It was I'm so
I hope she's happy today, is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
How about most romantic moment that you remember watching the show.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
I most have to go to Bachler in Paradise for
that one.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Probably so you watched the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Yeah, John Paul, God, what was he? Dude? Dude, that's
a dude. I was a big John Paul fan by
the way.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Uh the blonde guy, big blonde guy.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
But no, who was Who's the guy? That was? Was
that John Paul? There was the stupid guy guy on
the That wasn't John Paul. That was the other guy. Yeah,
but uh, most romantic you know, I'm even gonna go
back to Trista's wedding. That goes way back because I
(22:25):
never thought this franchise twenty years ago could like here
we are twenty years later. Yeah. I thought this was
the most stupid thing. Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
When they asked me to be the Bachelor, I swear
to God, I said, I'm like, well, this is the
end of it for you guys, but thank you as
lady Zach.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
You know I'm going Mike. Oh, you know what one
of the most Mike when he was the older guy,
went to Bachelor in Paradise and they brought uh, there
was a blonde gal that came back. They were together
for a while, he had the little kid, and they
went back to Ohio. But there were most romantic to
me is Michael. Yeah, Michael A. So Michael came back
(23:02):
to vet in Paradise and I was like, why are
they bringing this old dude back? And he ended up
with this guy and they lasted for a while. They're
not together anymore, but that to me was they were
out and there was water and they just were talking
and it was nice. How about that nice?
Speaker 2 (23:21):
That's very that's beautiful, that's very touching. Any any of
your favorite moments you want to run by him?
Speaker 1 (23:25):
I mean, anytime did I throw something out, So my
most memorable moment that related to something else in the past.
I should have said it, but it was my fourth episode. God.
When I came back, I told all the guys, I go,
I screwed up. I go, I'm leaving tonight right. It was.
(23:46):
It was terrible.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
They even I asked her. They never showed on the show.
I asked her, on your last meal on death row?
What would your last meal be? I mean it was
so bad? Well she never know, you know, everybody canceled it,
and they're like, they were shutting me down at this point, So.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Wait, why were you?
Speaker 4 (24:06):
What was I I froze.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
I couldn't ask anything your final what's your final meal?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
I was just gonna say, let's ask it.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
I mean, well, well thought about it, Zach.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
You've obviously thought about it well because you asked the question,
what was your final.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
Face with that? Until he was a judicated governor, I
was given us.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
By the way. I actually asked the set I go,
can you put this nice beach thing out of here?
Because our thing was let's have a beach thing, let's
have chucket. I got it all set up. I'm out there.
There's wine, chuck outery, little beach blankets, everything. Oh, I
am all set. The thing is she's in a game.
I'm in a suit, and then we're talking and I
(24:49):
just freeze.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
I come back in after this and I tell the guys,
I'm like, this is bad. They're like, Keith, you get
a rose. It's not it's all good. I'm like, he sure,
And so it shows. It shows on the episodes all
the guy and I got the roast. But then it shows,
you know, finally shows howevery months later and it showed
me getting up, like my I can't even get up.
My butt's in the camera, and I'm like, I'm like
(25:14):
an eighty year old man. Get me.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
The first impression? Rows? Was this the first impression?
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Row? No, this is this is right before my final?
Is my final rose? But it was right before the
final rods I ever got. But it's I got up
and all the guys called me, like I had three
guys called me. Then I going, dude, it was that bad.
I go, no, it could have been worse. They could
have showed me asking, You're like, what's your final? And
(25:39):
she never answered because they know everything's shut down. They're like,
we need.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
To go yah, you okay.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
So they were just like murder, Oh god, just asking
because it's I happened to have a chicken. This could
be it. This is your last meal. Hope you say
meet love, because that's exactly anyway.
Speaker 1 (26:08):

and these guys go, no, you're in. You've been great
for like whatever three episodes, blah blah blah, and I'm like,
and then they see the episodes. I just cracked up
that they actually called me. They were like, oh my god,

was worse.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
