Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hello everyone, welcome to the Almost in Its podcast. It
is just me today, and it's it's not because Ben's
on here. It's because he thought that it would be
fun that we just had some girl talk. So I'm
with Gabby Windley and Rachel Rekya, who are basically like
a couple. You guys are really like you came.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Out as a couple of Bachelor Nation.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
We'd be so devastated if you guys were to ever
break up.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Never you would like to announce her no longer friends.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
After lots of consideration. It's heartbreaking for us to announce
that we just you know, we.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Wish each other the best, but stay away from me.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Well that's great that that is not going to happen ever,
But I gotta talk about your exes, Like, let's just
jump into X talk, right please, because both of you
did not stay with your fiances very long.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Guilty.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Let's get into like just the conversations that you guys
would have getting off the show. Did you guys internally
feel insecure that like, the other one had a stronger
relationship than the other one. Was there any like thought
in your head, you're like, oh, man, I'm going to
be the loser of this because we're not going to last.
And like secretly it was kind of happening at the
same time with both of you.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Do you understand my question?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
I do. Yeah, I feel like it wasn't really a
secret because I was telling her immediately. I don't think
it was a secret. Me and Tino had a lot
of issues, like at the beginning we were fighting, and
even she knew all.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
That or the whole like cheating stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I mean, I guess what he has said is that
like that really is what led into it, which I
am at fault for like some of that fighting and like, yeah,
but you guys weren't connecting. Yeah, we were not connecting.
So I feel like Gabby always knew that me and
him right off the bat, it was really difficult for us.
So I always thought, you we had like a really
strong connection with.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Yeah, I think same, Like we expressed our doubts with
each other.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
So yeah, there was no I don't there was.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
She was the only other person at the time who
had gone through the exact same thing. I cannot imagine
how people do it alone.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
There's so much question. There is so much doubt.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
It's like this weird world afterwards where you think you
know the person and you think you don't. You're like,
what's normal? What do I do for four days alone
in a B and B?

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Like I think stream?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Yeah, you guys, ever.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Say with a happy couple of weekends that you wanted
to join forces and just be in the same house together.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
We did one time. Yeah, we well we weren't supposed to,
but one time we did. We had like a sneakover.
We snuck them over and we all four hung out.
That night was fun. That night was fun because we're
all together, right, Yeah, more distraction.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
So did you both just not feel like you knew
both guys coming off the show? And why do you
feel like you I think there was a reason that
the two of you felt like you didn't know your partner.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
To that point where.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Like a lot of other people leave the show, like
you were just talking about with Zach and Katie just
feeling that they knew each other so deeply.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Well, I mean it was so different just in timing.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Why, Yeah, that's what I mean.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Because a normal season you would do two one on
ones and then a group date every week, and we
didn't even start like getting to know the guys until
week three until we split up with our group and
then we were getting one less one on one a week.
So I feel like we just kind of missed out
on time, and in that way, it kind of flawed
a lot of at least decision making, and like I

(03:37):
feel like I was going really off of a motion
more than like being able to spend time and seeing compatibility.
If that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
No, I agree, I have a couple of things. I think.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Yeah, it is hard not to confuse like chemistry with connection,
and I think both of us could probably have chemistry
with like a cardboard box. So that was hard to
like suss out like what is fun and what is
the process and what is like being on a crazy
day in France versus actually connecting, like what you were saying. Also,

(04:12):
I think I know myself so deeply as a person.
I've done a lot of work. It's something I want
to continue to get better at so I can articulate it,
so I can ask for things in a relationship, and
that takes some work, and I don't the other person
has to be able to know themselves too, And I
feel like I wasn't really being met with that. So

(04:34):
when I say I feel like I, you know, never
really got to know him, I think it was really
because he didn't really get to know himself. Like he's
a little younger, you know, hasn't been through as much.
So I think I was constantly wanting more than I
just like didn't get.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Eric lost his dad while you guys were still together.
How was that, I mean, how difficult of a thing
to navigate so early in a relationship.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Yeah, absolutely, it really was.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
And I was, you know, so glad I got to
meet him at hometowns and I'm a nurse, so I
think my nursing kind of ICU background helped a lot
because his dad was really really sick for a long time.
But I think, you know, he could really lean on me,

(05:24):
which is nice, and like I wanted to be there
for him, Like there's grieving and losing somebody so hard
as a support person because there's there's not anything you
can say. And I was like, well aware, like I'm
like I'm not going to be able to make anything better,
but like if you need anything, I'm here, Like, you know,
I can only imagine how terrible it is. But like,

(05:45):
I can't be your support person.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Both your guys are in new relationships now publicly, right,
Tino took a long.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I feel like a while it's been. I don't know
when he started dating this new girl, but.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
It seems private.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Seems like she's a quote regular girl in like his
hometown area. How did it feel for you guys, Well,
we'll talk about Rachel first.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
How did it feel to see like that picture? Yeah,
it's so weird because I feel like I truly am
so like just okay with the situation and moved on that.
I do genuinely want him to find happiness and find
a person. I assume he wants the same for me,
So obviously it's just kind of weird to see it.
But obviously wish him all the best and hope it's,

(06:37):
you know, going good.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
And now Gabby she's just a little different.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Yeah, I kind of wish been We're here for this
moment because he had a celebrity crush on Elizabeth Turner.
She's like like a model actress, and it seems like
the Eric is now dating her and Hannah, Oh my god,
Hanna grab a mic. Oh yeah, our producer Hannah's coming
on for a second. It because she has seen Eric

(07:03):
out about in La Let's hid very very soon after
the breakup.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, and he just seemed like he was ready to go.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yeah, no any time like bachelor, you know, yeah, yeah, bachelor,
traditional sense life.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
How has all that been feeling?

Speaker 5 (07:23):
I mean same, I think it's great, Like we weren't
a match. We want different things out of life. Clearly
after you just said, you know, he's like doing the
bachelor Bachelor already right after the breakup. Like my just
how I live my life is different, Like I'm goal oriented.
I get reward from like you know, having a purpose

(07:44):
like doing work things, expressing myself, like knowing myself, self
improvement on all of those things.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
You know.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Like I'm in my thirties, Like I just want to
be the person I want to be and take the
steps to get there. And it's like he's in a
different phase of life. So this is it's like kind
of validating. I'm like, why we weren't a match. And
it's like I don't want anyone to be unhappy, Like
him being happy or unhappy is not going to affect
me at all. So I'm like, yeah, like go do

(08:12):
a thing. But where'd you run into him? I'll know
to completely avoid it.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
Lots of bars in Venice, be lots of bars, like
you we saw multiple times. I think I saw him
like three or four times out like right after the split,
and I was like, I think Gabby's better.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Doing this guy just.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Acting very is acting very single.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
So shocking.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Yeah, yeah, not surprised.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Didn't you guys take some weird like moment where you're like,
we're not really engaged but we're dating.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Yeah, I think I tried everything.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
That's the movie Like it's like no, like let's not
even pretend because like I've heard multiple people do that too. Yeah,
like I don't want to engage, but we might get
there again one day.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Literally.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Well, I remember we had a conversation. It's like we
are engaged, like me wearing this ring and he obviously
wanted me to like wear the ring.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Sorry.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
I was like, if we consider ourselves engaged, then we
need to be acting like this, and then these are
the things like the decisions and the conversations we need
to be having, which are very serious and like I'm
constantly bringing them to the table. If we're not, if
we're dating, then like cool, I want to be coreted,
Like you can just take me out on a date
a couple of times a week. We can like take

(09:35):
a step back like trying and like get to know
each other and revel in the new period because it
was kind of new being like in public, you know.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
But nothing worked. I feel like everyone does go through
that because it is so emotional and all of a
sudden you're engaged and you realize that and you are,
but you're you've never dated them. You don't really know
who they are at all as a person because you
are so different in you're day to day life, and
so you're like wait, wait, wait, like yes, we're engaged,
but we need to go back to that dating phase.

(10:05):
So I feel like we kind of everyone who's been
through it does that in a way.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, it's tough.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
How do you feel like the show should evolve?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
That's a little pun dai pun for us, so that
you guys, do know your person more before you like
set off in the sunset together.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Alone casting casting.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
You don't think it should be like more dates or
like eliminating the weak ones earlier on.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
I don't think anything would have changed if I had
more time, I still would have ended up who I
ended up with, Like, I don't know how much you
can fully get to know someone on camera because it's
like these conversations are also, you know, pretty produced. They
have a layout that's like true to batch, like this
is when you typically say you're fine in love like

(11:03):
this is. So it's like how much of it is
actually real conversation maybe honestly more off camera time. I
feel like BP is so successful because you just spend.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
All day with each other.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
You're not constantly like having these like seriously produced, serious
and produced conversations with each other, like you get the downtime.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Plus the seriously produced conversations often feel so boring, and
when Gabby means boring as a viewer, when Gaby says produced,
she means like they're led. They're not like telling us
what to say. They're like, but answer this question now
and ask.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Them this question.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yeah, thank you. Okay, So let's talk about current dating life.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Rachel. I know that you you were dating, you were
dating somebody kind of secularly, right.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Well, so, I mean it's been crazy. Right after the show,
I feel like, not the show. After our AFR, I
guess I felt like so much pressure with myself to
be dating again and prove that I could basically do
it and feel desired and like I'm gonna just get
back out there. And I did really really soon, Like

(12:10):
it was immediately after our finale, and I mean, obviously
he was great. And it is to me, like, how
do you were you meeting guys when you were trying
to date? I really only dated one person again, and
I haven't dated really anyone in like six months. He
was the last person I dated because I think when
that kind of ended, everything kind of like in a

(12:30):
way came crashing down where I had to really kind
of realize what this whole year had been, like a
fail engagement, everything that happened on The Bachelor, and I
was really able to like take that time to heal
and like accept what had happened. And so, yeah, I've
been single and it's been really really nice, honestly.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Susie recently Susie like, who's like the third.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Of you guys from Clayton season. She recently said that
she pictures a relationship between you and Clayton to have
made more sense unhinged.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah, we heard that.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
I don't understand that you really know that about like
the guy you were with. Yeah, yeah, that was hard
I think for me to your because I mean they
had a really serious relationship for months, and I obviously
only knew Clayton on the show and what aspect that was.
So I think that would hurt me in a way
if I had heard someone say that about me, who
has stated me for that long. But I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
And it's like you've moved past it. You've had a
whole life outside of.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
It, and I'm sure you've learned a lot from being
on Bachelor, but like you've had a lot of experiences
since then. So just to kind of assume, like, oh,
this should happen is like really.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Not taking you into consideration.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
During our trip to.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Carmelo a couple of months ago, you and Clinton did
like have some sit down chats and stuff.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
How's your relationship in since? Like do you guys text?

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Not?

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Really?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Let's see how.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Not? Really?

Speaker 4 (14:02):
I mean here and there. He did send me his book.
It's been nice to have like a friendship with him,
and like with Zach now, I really feel like I've
been able to like I don't know, I was holding
on to so much resentment with I feel like everyone
and being able to like kind of come together and
really talk things out and apologize to them. It's been
really nice, So we'll keep doing this. Just bring all my.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Okay, it's nice therapy. Well, let's talk about that meeting
with Zach. I know we talked about it also on
ourn day episode, but you you know it's okay to
say that it was you were nervous and seeing him again,
especially since there was a lot of shade throw in
your way during his season. So did you want to

(14:45):
address that or you just like real sleep it under
the rug and be friendly.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Yeah, obviously it was hard watching it because I did
hear and see everything it was. It was hurtful, but
in a way, like I know that he was just
maybe relating it back to the only experience he had,
and his feelings were valid and they were hurt. So
I did just try to like take that into consideration,
and I did text him during his season and reach

(15:11):
out and so we kind of did already make up.
And so seeing him again today, obviously it's the first time.
I was a little nervous, but yeah, it was nice.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
I will say, Rachel, You're the best at like reaching
out and knowing that people have your support, and I
think that means a lot because it's like no message
DM or text like went unnoticed. I was like, hey,
I don't maybe I don't know you, but I'm here
to support you. Like I know you've been really supportive
with charity and like you're just good at that, and
like other guys from our season, you're good at being

(15:42):
like like kind of no hard feelings. I'm also a
person you can lean on and like I care about
you as a person, like you make it known, and
I think that means a lot to people.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
That's so nice.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Yeah, I think it's always nice to see a DM
from somebody, even if you don't know them from the community.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Make you feel better? It does?

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Okay, Yabby, Supposedly you slid into Ben's DM yes to
talk about this.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
It was like word vomit right when I pulled up,
And like, I know Ben Higgins is somewhere on the
premise and I need to tell everybody that I slid
into out there chest.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
You know what it would re emerge is like if
you were to damn Ben now, I'd be like, hey, thanks,
great weekend.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Yeah, it would come I.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Know I deleted it because I up ahead.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
Yeah, yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
I'm like I was like harboring this secret for years,
I feel because it's like we're like on parallel kind
of pass like he's obviously a huge name.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
We just had a season. I'm like, when is someone
going to find out I did damn think about damned?

Speaker 5 (16:50):
But he was like from Denver and I was I
had seen him in Denver before, never said that to
his face, so like I knew where he lived.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
He thinks I didn't, like, oh my god, where were
you located? The coffee shop? Yeah, but he's like a
hot commodity, like you know in Denver when he was
single at the time.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
So I slid. I did.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
I'm a shameless slider.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Okay, well we're going to play a little game now,
Okay called who did you d M?

Speaker 3 (17:20):
And let's read it out loud.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
I have I'll say it so just to pull it
up and who is it? And what does it say?
Word for word? It'll be like an old.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
Do we say I love you the other day? Really
genuinely thinking he would respond to the singers in your
musician era, Yeah, I love a good musician.

Speaker 5 (17:45):
Okay, do you want to know who it is first
Brett Goldstain from Ted Lasso. Okay, I said, through medium
amounts of stocking, I see you're a Bachelor fan.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
He has a Bachelor highlight.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Amazing the Bachelor highlights. Yeah, so it's not just like
he follows you. Does he follow you? No, he doesn't.
It was like one season and it was like unhinged.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
It was just this clip that they were like going
to Tulsa, Oklahoma or something, and then you know, on
the couch, they make you go like okay, now everybody scream.
It was like to somewhere crazy, like for us, it's Houston. Yeah,
so it was like that. So I was like, through
medium amounts of stocking, I see you are a Bachelor fan,
and I am a I am a fan of your chest, hair,

(18:29):
sweater and dry sense of humor. No response, never read
fully ignored.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
One day, Yeah, were waiting for that scene. It's never
been opened.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
We have somebody else.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I have to get a cringey one, guys, because I
just opened Damn did Jimmy garoppolo in twenty fifteen?

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
I was only on the show for I had just
gotten off of filming Batchel my first reason paradise and.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
I want to die. I want to actually crawl into
a whole right now.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
This is specially like reading an old diary dream.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
I can't say it.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
I lot yes, you hi, Jimmy. I think you're extremely handsome.
And I have never sent a direct message to a
guy in my life, fass, just like the most famous quarterback.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
You're like, I never do this. I decided to take
a chance on you.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Still a backup at the time, guys, still a backup
to Tom, and I can't imagine the number of d
ms that you get. I did this, And let me
just say I did this in spite of Jared, because
he was like, oh, I'm sure you can't get like,
you know, I wanted to get Jimmy Garoppolo, who is
the backup quarterback to Tom Brady on the Patriot at

(19:51):
the time, and be like, oh, Jared, you don't want
to date me.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Well, Jimmy Garoppolo is gonna want to date me. Motivation.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
I think I lied here by saying I'm going to
be in Providence this weekend, which is like half an
hour from where his house would have been, and I
would love to meet you. Let me know if you'd
be interested in hanging out. This is such like an
og DM, like when d ms were.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Like not a thing, very formal.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
It's really like, this is the most embarrassing thing I've
ever seen in my life. And then I attached a
photo of myself.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Just to make things easy for you. I'm putting all
the information in one text.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
You don't even have to look at my profile if
you're at trying to meet dam back. I want to
just I need to go retire from life right now.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Do you have friends?

Speaker 5 (20:50):
Look over your dms? You say, okay, okay, And that's
so strange.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Is the best flirter and the best at sliding into
any text the threat, Oh my god, I love it.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
I love it?

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Should I go find another one. I can't think of
anybody that.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
I had good ones? I feel I was just I
feel like with people I know I could never get. Yeah,
that's my damn Like Riley Green, the singer idem him too.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
Wait, if you're listening Riley Green, no, I deleted it.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
That's the thing. I get so ashamed. I said Green,
you guys, I am so out of the pop culture.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
And he's a country singer. Okay, and I was going
to stagecoach and he was going to stage coach, showing
message him. And then I deleted it right away because
I get embarrassed that I did that. It's not there.
I never did it. Have a couple of glasses wine,
don't even remember. I'm like, oh I did that. No, Yeah,
that wasn't me.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
That's different things.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
I'm looking at him right now, so hot, Okay, So
Hannah just gave me one that she slided it. She
slid into and listen, Hannah and I we always talk
about Joe Burrow together, so I don't have you yes

(22:06):
to that. I mean, he's got a girlfriend, very public,
but oh my god, we talked about this last time.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
I remember when we were in Carmel.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
I couldn't stop talking about, you know, Joe Burrow. I
have a quarterback thing. It's fun, but it's so. Hannah
just sent me this screenshop. It's Nick Bossa and he
Bosah and he's a football player as well for San Francisco.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
I love this athlete.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
And she said hi on February second, with the smiley
face and then you guys, this is an amazing, amazing moment.
On February fifteenth, she says, following up on the above.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
I it incredible, as you should.

Speaker 4 (22:46):
I'm doing that now.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Yeah. On February twenty second, she goes circling back, and
then finally, on March fourteenth, the Granby face so good.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
I will not get out of here. You will give
me a response.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
I love it, So go back to Riley green No response.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
No, well, I also just deleted it, so I don't
even know if he saw it. He probably didn't. I
don't think it.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
I feel like men like aren't Like I'm always in
my dms, but we're women and we're like nosy and
want to know.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
I feel like men aren't that good at it.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Tell about the blue check mark, Like you have a
blue check mark?

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Aren't you read it? Is like your direct inbox? And
then like he's just gonna be really curious to see
who had a blue check mark.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Everyone go message Riley Greeny tell him message me back.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
Operation Rachel and Riley love it good name, Like all right,
here's somebody that did not slide into any d MS
but made quite a buzz.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
So you and Vinnie from Jersey Shore.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
I this is I'm gonna look at you and I'm
gonna say what I think happened, tell me, and then
you should confirm her to not. Okay, I think you
had a really good flirtation. You made out a few times,
but it was way more fun to get the public
interested than like anything for real, for real.

Speaker 5 (24:08):
We never even made out really yeah, no, because he's
never in la and he.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Got that's why.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Yeah, literally physically we can't make out cross country.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
My lips are that meme that are like, oh, flopping
in the wind.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
But yeah, he got eliminated on dancing like a couple
of weeks before it was over, and that's when it
was my busiest. So our pass just didn't really cross.
I'm I was always like kind of like I'm interested,
like take me on a date whatever that looks like,
like find me to New York basically, like that's what
people do these days. I feel like if you're going

(24:42):
to date long distance, and it just like never really
came to fruition. Then we saw each other on tour, Yeah,
I mean.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Didn't you guys go on tour together or did he
just make a few appearances.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
He was there for like five days.

Speaker 5 (24:54):
He only spent one night on the bus, which like
if we were going to make out. It'd probably be
like on the bus. Yeah. So yeah, just like never
really like kind of bossome. We're good friends, like we do.
We like talk all the time. He's sending me his
jump ropes. He's like, hey, would you be interested. I'm like, Vinnie,
you can send me whatever you want. They're gonna say

(25:15):
my back room will never use them, but like, please
send me them.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
But yeah, so just friendly.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
He is very flirty in the social media realm, I think,
with like multiple women. So I think he kind of
started that and I was like, oh my god, this
is fun because I'm sure there's some overlap of Bachelor
Jersey Shore fans.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Yeah, so it's like that kind of overtook. But not
to say like I'm not interested, but it just doesn't
really seem like it's gonna like blossom.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Okay, well you guys should just go on a date
and see.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
Literally, but I'm not gonna take myself on a date.
It's like he needs to like put in the initiative, Racha,
what do you.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Think about that coupling, Vinnie? Yeah, do you think it
makes sense? I think it makes sense on paper.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
But yeah, I don't know. I also feel like maybe
he's too much of a mama's boyfriend. God, yeah, I
can't really with the mama's boy She needs like a
partner who's very confident and like I don't know, yeah, yeah,
not that you're not confident any but I don't know
who knows?

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Okay, So if we were to set you guys up,
like if you were to set Gabby up with a celebrity,
who would it be?

Speaker 4 (26:24):
And if you were to set up Rachel with the celebrity,
who would it be?

Speaker 1 (26:27):
Like?

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Or I should we let's just go there?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Who's the bachelor person that you think so and so
should give a try?

Speaker 4 (26:38):
I know yours should date Tyler Cameron. And I'm only
saying that, Yeah, that's a good match.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Know who doesn't have a crush on Tyler Cameron.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
I think you guys would be good together. I don't
really know his personality, but he seems like kind of fun.
But he seems that he seems really nice to look at,
So what more do we need?

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Yours would be what's his name?

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Ben? From Katie's Season?

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (27:04):
Is it Ben Smith?

Speaker 5 (27:05):
Yes? So hot?

Speaker 3 (27:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (27:07):
So hot and like emotional? Oh sorry, yeah, I get
him confused. The COVID seasons. But but yeah, I feel
like you guys would be a good match.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
He lives in la Maybe you should give him a call.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
And he's like kind of below like not he doesn't
care about Yeah, he's like it, which I love that
he has his own stuff going on, Like I think
it'd be great.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
He seems really nice.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
Let's do it. Okay, let's make it happen.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
All right, Let's have him come to our next thing.
Hanna put it down, Ben Smith and all.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
My other axes.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
We'll just get him all there.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Okay, let's talk a little bit about your breast reduction surgery, Rachel.
What was the reasoning going into it and how long
have you been thinking about doing it?

Speaker 4 (27:53):
So I wanted to do it since I was seventeen.
I was in high school really like interested doing the research,
and I was just kind of waiting at that point.
And once I was in college, I was like, all right, well,
as soon as I graduate, I'm gonna get it done.
I ended up graduating like a month before I went
on the Bachelor, and I went immediately into the Bachelorette.
So once that ended, I was like one hundred percent

(28:16):
doing it right now. Being on the show affected it
a lot too. I feel like because I just hated
the clothes I was in and I was so uncomfortable
I would have back pains. So it just like made
sense right after the show and no regrets. Best decision
of my entire life. Do you mind telling us what
soars we were? I think I was a triple D

(28:37):
maybe bigger. I literally didn't even measure myself because I
just wouldn't ever wear like a wired bra. I would
only really wear sports bras and stuff like that. And
now I think I'm a c great. Yeah, so it's
been credible. Such a difference. My back like feels incredible.
I just feel like I can wear anything, My movement
exercising is better. Just like this quality of life is amazing.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
I'm so happy for you.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
It's awesome.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Yeah, you look incredible.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
It's great.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Do you feel like people whenever you talk about are
like looking at your boobs?

Speaker 4 (29:08):
No money for that.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
I'm like, I'm like having this conversation and I'm checking
you out.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
I'm like, they look so perky. I show everyone, I
showed Ashley last night. I show everyone. I have this
picture of me mid surgery where one boob is done
and one isn't. And anyone who asked me about I'm
do you want to see a picture I just show
I'm like, oh my god, yeah you can put the
little blur. Yeah, it's my favorite picture. It's so jarring.

(29:35):
It's like one is like, yeah, like.

Speaker 5 (29:38):
Who would have thought, like boobs can be such a burden,
but like bigger is not always better?

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Yeah, no, I would obviously can't relate, But all I
know is that what I always thought, you know.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
I was like, I wonder what I'd be like with
bigger boobs.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
And then when I was pregnant and they were bigger,
I was like I don't like these Yeah, like I
don't like the way that I felt them, like on
my stomach.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (30:04):
So, how was the recovery from that? And how was
your friend and roommate Genevieve and taking care of you?

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Yeah? No, she was amazing. Recovery actually wasn't bad. I
thought I was gonna be like down bad for a
long time, but probably like a week two weeks and
then I was basically back to normal and I'm like
three months now and totally fine. And Genevieve's awesome. She
took such good care of me. So thank god she.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Is a good little like worker care taker. Yeah, she
like thrives in that.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
I love it. Yeah, all right, well let's talk about
like next steps in life.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
You are a pilot, and whenever I think about you
being a pilot, I'm like, that's like the most badass
thing ever. And I can't imagine what you look like
when you're like flying by yourself. And I know that
sometimes you actually like go up in the air by yourself,
and you've had some scary moments up in there by.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
Oh yeah, yeah, I have some horror stories, like I
could literally go on for days. A lot of them
were when I was alone. They were when you were
a lot of scary. It's yeah, it's just a lot,
but I love it. I love like the adrenaline rush too,
So like even though they were scary, I think they're
like fun stories.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
To tell me.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
There was way you keep going like that, a weird
light go off, and by myself.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
There was this one flight I had to do that
was six hours long that I had to do to
get my commercial license, six hours by myself in one day.
Like it was actually a lot, but I ended up
having an RPM gauge failure, which is basically like you're
basically saying what your engine is doing. And so I
thought I was having an engine failure. And when I
like landed, basically I was like, oh my god. And

(31:35):
I went to this maintenance sight and they basically couldn't
tell me what it was. They were like, we don't
know if it's your RPM or if it is your engine,
so we recommend you staying like here. And I was
in Indiana, and I was like, I'm just going to
assume it's our PM gauge because I didn't see any
other engine roughness. And then I just said the rest
of the flight, no, I go back.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:54):
And the scariest part was that it was like dark
out by the time I was going back, so it
was just pitch black, me by myself and my RPM gauge,
just like going into the red into the red. But
it actually ended up just being the gage.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
So I was, Oh my god, terrifying.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
You literally live on the edge.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
I forget that you're such an adrenaline junkie.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Yeah, you don't like come across as somebody that isn't
adrenaline junkie.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
She loves it. Yeah, I love it like I got
to go on that date on our season where we
did the zero g's in the plane so much fun.
Like I love anything like that. But I'm in the
process right now. I'm renewing my CFI license, my teacher license,
and I'm gonna go back to that.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Do you just want to go fly for the airlines?

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Yeah, that's the goal. I don't like teaching. You basically
just have to do it to get to the airlines.
So do you pretend like to be in top gun
though when you're teaching? Oh my gosh, teaching is so hard.
I'm just not a teacher, Like not everyone is cut out.
So it's like I'm a good pilot and I know
what I'm doing, But like sometimes teaching I'm just like,
oh god, and.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
You're still impatient.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
Yeah, and it's scary as hell, like your life is
in their hands.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Who are these students? So literally one time I was
with a student when Clayton season was airing, and he
just looks at me. We were like flying in silence,
and he goes, I know you're on the show.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
No one not.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
And he goes, YESTERD, why I saw you? And I'm like, Okay,
you're back back to this, it was I think the
episode the night before was Fantasy suitees too. Oh my god, great,
Like I can take it real seriously right now?

Speaker 3 (33:27):
So yeah, literally, Oh you're in Gabby.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
I know that you guys are both like enjoying your
post bachelor life, like absolutely no pressure in getting back
to what you're doing beforehand, Like you should just soak
up all like the money and experiences that you can
right now.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
But do you ever think about going back to nursing.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Obviously, Like healthcare has a special place in my heart.
I was in IC you nurse for eight years. It
is grueling. Nursing is really not for the faint of heart.
I will say at that time, I was pretty burnt
out working through COVID I started when I was young.
I see you as just like intense. You know, you're

(34:05):
dealing with lots of death and lots of sick patients
and lots of responsibility. So I don't think I would
ever go back to the bedside, but I would like
to be like an advocate in some way. It's really
hard because sometimes it seems like unattainable. It's like, what
can I do personally about staffing ratios? You know, this

(34:27):
is kind of like a niche thing that like in
real life doesn't really affect people.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
But like obviously we need nurses.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Which we know through the pandemic.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
So but yeah, I think I like right now, just
want to spread the true word because I think nursing
is glorified.

Speaker 4 (34:43):
I think people are like, oh my god, you're nurse.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
Like you must be like so perfect, great angel and
like love your job, and it's like, no, we're humans,
and humans taking care of humans is really scary and
really vulnerable, and we do make mistakes and we work
thirteen hours day on our feet with sometimes no breaks
and no chance to get water. So it's like these
are the things we need to talk about, not necessarily glorifying,

(35:08):
like the occupation, like we need to know the truth
that's really well put.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
All right, well, this is a great time. You're the best.
It's so fun to have a girl time with.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
So fun, didn't hit How are you?

Speaker 2 (35:24):
How am I next time?

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Okay? Well, we love you guys, and please come on
all of our trips. So much fun.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
It was so much fun.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Thanks for having us of course. All right, well until
next time. I've been Ashley.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
I'm Rachel and I'm Gabby.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
That's cute. They mess up a little bit, but we
like it. Bye.
