President Trump's border czar says the administration followed the law
when it deported a Maryland man to El Salvador. In
an interview with ABC's This Week, Tom Homan defended the
deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, repeating allegations that he's a
gang member.

And we have followed the constitution, we have followed law.

I am confident that everything we've done has followed laws
within the constitutional constricts absolutely. Homan said the administration was
allowed to deport Abrego Garcia under the Alien Enemies Act,
even though the administration admitted in court he was deported
due to an administrative error. Holman went on to criticize
US Senator Chris van Holland for going to El Salvador

The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to allow
deportations to continue under the Alien Enemies Act. This weekend,
the ACLU filed an emergency request to pause the seldom

the ACLU's request early Saturday, saying the administration must not

deport Venezuelans while litigation over the issue continues, But now
the Department of Justice is asking the Supreme Court to

to be arraigned Friday afternoon after a federal grand jury
in Manhattan returned to four count indictment against him Thursday.
Mangioni is charged with stalking, a firearms offense, and murder
with a firearm. The last charge makes him eligible for
the death penalty if convicted something. Attorney General Pam Bondi
