The University of Massachusetts student has been arrested for allegedly

The Department of Justice said nineteen year old Owen McIntyre
was arrested on the UMass Boston campus McIntyre has been
charged with unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device and
malicious damage by fire of any property used in interstate commerce.
A federal criminal complaint says McIntyre was in his hometown

of Kansas City for spring break when he allegedly set
the dealership on fire.

The American Civil Liberties Union is suing the Trump administration
over its targeting of international students. More from Chris Carraggio.

The lawsuit was filed after more than eleven hundred students
from one hundred and seventy universities had their legal statuses revoked.
The ACLU says these students now face detention, deportation, and
severe financial or academic hardship. They added, the unilateral and
unlawful terminations have severely hurt law abiding students who were
simply trying to obtain an education in the US.
