Immigration is the reason a Newark mayor was put in
handcuffs this weekend. An angry New Jersey mayor is speaking
out now after he was arrested by ICE agents during
a protest in Newark. Newark Mayor Ross Baroka said he
was targeted by the Feds after his release from federal
custody Friday night. Federal agents confronted and then arrested Baraka

while he was protesting outside an ICE migrant detention facility.
Mayor Baraka, who's also running for governor, says the site
is not legally permitted and that he, as mayor, had
every right to be there. No charges have been filed.
The Department of Justice is releasing scores of documents in
the permanently dropped federal corruption case against New York City
