Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's awkward.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
It's awkward Tuesday phone call.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
When you're in a relationship, Is it okay for your
significant other to have a crush on somebody else?

Speaker 5 (00:14):
It's okay, it happen.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
It depends on who it is, right, Like, if it's
a celebrity crush, that's probably fine, but if it's one
of their co workers, that's a little bit messy. Yeah, now, Brook,
I'm your co worker and also kind of a celebrity. Yes,
this is dangerous territory that we're getting into here.

Speaker 6 (00:41):
Crush, I don't have one.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Anyway, Let's not focus on Brook and the craziness going
on in her head. Let's talk to Connor, who's worried
that his girlfriend may have a little bit of an
unhealthy crush. Connor, Welcome to the show Man.

Speaker 5 (01:00):
You hi, Connor. How long have you been dating your girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
So we've been dating for a little over a year.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Now, do you know her name yet?

Speaker 7 (01:11):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Vanessa?

Speaker 5 (01:12):
Vanessa?

Speaker 6 (01:13):
Okay, So what's going on? Why are you so concerned?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Okay, So we moved in together a little while ago
and she, uh, she decided to buy a Peloton for
our place, and uh, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:27):
It's Peloton, but we don't. He obviously doesn't ride for
a month.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, whatever, it's her thing. I I don't think they
all have pronounced it. She's been really, really into it,
you know, I thought was great and you know, bonus
for me. She looks amazing riding the bike, you know,
workout clothes, you know, but noticing she seems to be

(01:55):
really into one of the instructors, who's a guy and
she is always taking his classes and who cares.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
I'm sorry, I gotta step in on this one. Like
the Peloton instructors are all incredibly sexy.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Yeah, yeah, there isn't one other.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
I haven't found an uggo yet.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I don't think they would hire an ugly person to
be doing it. Wouldn't be a good advertiser for their company.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah you do.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
You know which guy it is? Connor?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I honestly can't remember the guy's name, but like I
get it. I mean, he's really good looking, you know,
he's obviously in shape. He's got like the sculpted arms
and perfect care. You know.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
The whole sounds like two people have been checking out this.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
So what's the problem. Why is that an issue?

Speaker 7 (02:43):
Well?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I see her doing his ride and she has like
these googly eyes oning like she's biting her lower lip
while she's doing it. So I thought maybe she has
a little crush, you know, which is only fine. You know,
I'm not that insecure, Like we all have crushes, but
lately it's getting kind of weird.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
So what do you mean?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I found the trainer Guy's social media whatever his name is,
and of course she follows him, and I noticed she's
like every single one of his posts. Okay, when when
we hang out, she'll bring up things, he said, She'll
be like, oh my god. You know, I was taking
a ride today and he said, this isn't that funny?

(03:25):
I mean, like stuff that you say when you're like
really into someone or like dating them.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
She's not dating the Peloton instructure. He's virtually on a streen.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
I mean, yea, his fan page isn't like the best
way to get to him either.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Yeah, Like she obviously just really likes his classes.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
I mean a lot of these, Like in the classes
I've taken, they're all about motivational and live your best
life and a lot of like good energy and stuff.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Right, But like, is that a healthy behavior to be
kind of obsessing over somebody and riding your peloton naked
and stuff.

Speaker 7 (03:56):
Say that you might start only going for peloton trainers
your boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
But I don't know how far the obsession goes.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I came home one day and she was watching one
of his classes. Like she wasn't working out, she wasn't
wearing any of her gear or anything. She's just standing
there holding her coffee watching the guy work out.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Okay, so fun.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Why did you keep home to your husband doing that?

Speaker 6 (04:19):
I know I could see where you'd you'd feel a
little weird about it.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I mean that.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
That's pretty extreme.

Speaker 8 (04:26):
Wing do I constantly take the classes, but yeah, the
extracurriculars that go find them to just watch them casually, like.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
It's a most just work out.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
So you're not obviously, like actually worried she's gonna cheat.
You're just concerned that this is a little over the
top and it hurts your feelings.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
What what are you feeling?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I mean, I don't know, To be honest, it's weird
to say, but I am getting a little bit jealous
and I want to talk to her about it. But
I don't want to be like the jealous boyfriend.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Right, Yeah, it would be a hard conversation to bring
up a crush on the guy on the screen.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
You Okay, so you want us to call your girlfriend
here and you want to talk to her about this
obsession that you think might be going a little too far.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, I definitely need some help and to get to
the bottom of it.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Hold on, you say get to the bottom of it?
Do you mean you want it to stop?

Speaker 8 (05:22):
Or you need her to explain her feelings about him, like,
what's the solution?

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Maybe both, depending on what she says.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
I mean, okay, we don't know what the solution is then.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Okay, Yeah, I mean I at least want to understand
where she's coming from if I'm just imagining this, or
I mean, for me, it seems over the.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Top, now, okay, okay, I will see that, all right,
all right, Well, so we'll think about this. We'll play
a song, we'll come back, call your girlfriend Vanessa for you,
and we'll give her an ultimatum saying it's either or
that is not the advice.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
We'll come up with better advice.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
We'll come up with something. We'll do it right after this,
with your awkward Tuesday phone call. Hold on, now, it's awkward.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
It's Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
It's an awkward Tuesday phone call.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
All right.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
We're just getting our sweat on for the awkward Tuesday
phone call right now.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
We're gonna push though together, guys.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Okay, everybody, I know half of you are feeling the pain,
the pain of this segment because it's not very good.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
But we're gonna get it together. All right. The New
Youth starts today. Connor, Connor, this is your moment. We're
gonna call your girlfriend and tell her.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
You know what, honey, you're obsession with your peloton instructor.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
It's not healthy.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
We want a healthy relationship.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Are you with me?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Left?

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Right?

Speaker 6 (06:39):
Left?

Speaker 7 (06:40):
Right?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Connor, you with me?

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I'm ready, okay, Okay, I'm feeling the energy.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
That's okay.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
You have a second career in your I just got
to get.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
In physical shape in order to do it for that
tired me out second classes. If you're just joining us,
we're in the middle of an awkward Tuesday phone call,
we're one of our listeners. Connor wants our help to
reach out to his girlfriend Vanessa. They've been together for
a year and she's been a little bit obsessed with.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Her Peloton instructor lately.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
A lot because he even came home one day and
found her just watching videos of him, not even working out,
just drinking coffee and enjoying the visuals. But Connor, hopefully
we can help get things right for you. Are you
feeling all right? Are you ready to hear some advice?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Oh? Yeah, I think I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Okay, Brook, what do you got for him?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Well?

Speaker 6 (07:27):
I think you have totally valid feelings, Connor, but I
think you would even admit this is a pretty ridiculous conversation.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, those are two different things. Yeah said, your feelings
are valid, but this is stupid.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
I said ridiculous, like silly.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
And I think that you need to lean into that. Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
I mean, if you admit in the beginning this is
a really ridiculous thing I'm about to bring up, want
it'll let her guard down so she's not so defensive,
and it makes you sound less like accusatory.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
You know. I mean, it doesn't seem that ridiculous with
all the things that she's doing.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
I just mean, like the conversation of like you have
a crush on your peloton instructor is a pretty silly conversation.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Brook.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
I know this is probably gonna sound ridiculous and stupid,
but that advice was bad.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
What do you think? What should Connor do here?

Speaker 3 (08:17):
And the only thing I'm concerned about.

Speaker 8 (08:19):
It's like usually in these awkward Tuesdays, both parties kind
of have an idea, right of like the issue at hand,
but it sounds like she has no idea what's coming, Like.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Oh, yeah, for sure, I think maybe.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Kind of ease into it, but don't be too agro.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Don't be too yeah, no, I'm going to be diplomatic
about it.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Okay, be diplomatic, don't be too agro.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Ease into it.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
You know that this is ridiculous, but also at the
same time, it's really important.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
We're so good.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
That Connor.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, yeah, ready to make this call?

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Here you go.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Good luck man, We're gonna be here, ready to jump
in if we feel like you need a little bit
of help.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
But we're gonna Dalbiness's number. Let's do it, man, Good luck?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
All right, thank you?

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Okay, something to it. Here we go.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Let's give me a quick phone.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Hello, hey babe, it went.

Speaker 7 (09:17):
I didn't know this was you. What's up?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Nothing?

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
I was just call him to say hey, uh yeah,
your day's going.

Speaker 7 (09:28):
Well. I just finished a ride, so I'm so h.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Oh you you worked out today?

Speaker 7 (09:36):
Yes, I did my thirty minute hit righte. It was
so good? Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Okay did you use that uh that one guy?

Speaker 7 (09:49):
Uh Alec? His name is Alexx. Yes, obviously so good.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Yeah, huh uh I was. I was kind of hoping
to talk to you about that.

Speaker 7 (10:05):
Actually, uh, talk to me about what what's going on?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Uh? Like this Alex dude, I feel like maybe you've
been a little into him lately.

Speaker 7 (10:24):
What wait?

Speaker 2 (10:26):
What like like you've just been kind of you've been
kind of upset with him a.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
Little maybe what what are you talking about? He's my
palate from the cutter.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
He's Alex.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, I don't know. You just like you take a
lot of his classes.

Speaker 7 (10:48):
He's like super motivational. He gets me to like get
my son when I'm at work, like it's amazing. He's motivational.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, okay, okay, But like when you work out, you
just have like this this look in your eye. I
don't know.

Speaker 7 (11:06):
What look what look in my eyes?

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Like you're trying to seduce him through the camera or
something like.

Speaker 7 (11:17):
Like I'm trying to do what you talking about? Are
you joking?

Speaker 2 (11:23):
No? No, I'm not. I'm not joking. If I was
staring at some girl every single day like that, I mean,
you wouldn't like it, would you.

Speaker 7 (11:33):
Listen? This is a fitness instructor. I have to look
at him so I know what to do.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well, okay, what what about like like the other day
when when you were just a standing there, you know,
watching his video, like not even working out?

Speaker 7 (11:51):
Babe? Are you like that serious?

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Now? Yeah? I'm serious, ring there smiling like a giddy
school girl.

Speaker 7 (11:59):
Okay, First of all, I was trying to find this
incredibly motivating quote that I wanted to film and send
to Erica, who you know, is my best friend who's
having a horrible time right now, because this guy is
so inspiring and motivational.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, I see the motivation and I see the sculpted arms, like, oh,
we's got everything. I know.

Speaker 7 (12:21):
What do you want me to tell you? How sex
you are? You're so hot? This is stupid?

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Like what is this, Alex? I mean I don't get
the sound that he gets. I mean, what about that
sounds you make while you're working out?

Speaker 7 (12:37):
What fans are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (12:39):
You?

Speaker 7 (12:40):
The noises, the noise, workout.

Speaker 9 (12:43):
Sound, working out, working out, watching Alex. You're like, Oh, I.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Told you this is gonna be ridiculous.

Speaker 7 (12:57):
Who is on the phone, con.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Ax, No, Vanessa, you're on the radio right now with
Brook and Jeffrey in the morning.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Oh my god, I am dying. We're doing We've been
listening in on this call.

Speaker 7 (13:12):
Oh my god, Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
It's fine.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yeah, this is just we're doing an awkward Tuesday phone
call with Connor because he's been a little bit jealous, jealous,
a little insecure seeing you with Alex. Apparently, although you
do seem to have a very strong connection with Alex.

Speaker 7 (13:29):
I have tried to get Connor to take classes with
me and he won't do it, and now I understand why.
But yes, I have a strong connection with my Peloton
teacher Alex who thought he's super hot.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Yeah, yeah, okay, Oh my god, Connor. He cannot still
be mad. I mean, it does sound like she really
really likes this Alex guy. But it doesn't sound like
in the way that you were worried about.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
No, it sounds like they're connected at the growing That's
where I found.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
That's what you took from this, Connor. That's what you
heard her say, Babe.

Speaker 7 (13:59):
I don't even know him. I mean, granted, he does
have a book signing in May, but in New York
that I got tickets for us. You can come.

Speaker 8 (14:09):
But dude, it's not like a threesome.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
She's not any of this from you, Connor.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
This isn't like a hall pass situation.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yeah, and I got the hall pass on this guy,
and you know, like you know he's going to be
in New York and stuff like, that's so weird.

Speaker 7 (14:30):
I don't I didn't realize that this was like upsetting
you that much. But I need you to know that, like,
you don't have to worry about anything. You can't see me.
He's just super inspiring and he has to New York
or whatever.

Speaker 5 (14:43):
Right now, you're just giving off insecure.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
She gave you your answer. You asked, and she said,
you have nothing to worry about.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Now.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
It comes down to trust.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Trust.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
It's not her problem anymore. Your problem now is what
jose said.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
I actually think it might be a good idea, Connor,
if you went with her to New York and met
Alex in person, and that might put you at ease.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
A little bit.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
I was thinking you get motivated to take a class.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
But either wise, yeah, you can all make those noises
all together.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
Tom, Like, listen, he's just super motivational and inspiring. So
if you see me looking nineteens out of ten, I'm
trying to find a quote that I want to put
on my vision board.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Okay, I exactly what you're trying to find.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Like, my god, this is exhausted.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
I cannot I love him, but I cannot fix this.
Like he's going to be like this.

Speaker 6 (15:36):
Conor, it's not very attractive right now, all right, Connor.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Yeah, this is like obviously a highly emotional thing, and
we're doing this on the radio right now.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
You need to let it sit for a while and marinate.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
And I think you're going to see that it's not
as big of a deal as you think it is
if she would.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Have said something different.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
This is because you know, if I were doing this
to a girl, you know that I was watching and
I was like owing her schedule around the state.

Speaker 7 (16:04):
I think that somebody needs a bottle and a diaper
and a nap.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
She tried to give you.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
I'll tell you nobody changes a diaper like Alex.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Made those noises.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Washing's not laughing, it's
