Speaker 4 (01:02):
Okay, okay. So I'm in my late thirties right now.
That's when I was in high school. I met the
most incredible guy. He was one grade above me. He
was insanely handsome. I didn't have many friends at the time,
so he just made me feel so loved. You know,
I was only seventeen at the time, so I don't
really know if I knew what true love was, but

(01:24):
it really felt like that.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Oh man, it's so intense at that age.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I mean, I think we all can think back to
that one guy from high school.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Well, I hate guy looks background.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
I'm like you, I hate same that guy.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Yeah, you were that guy for me too.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I understand what it's like. I mean, everyone does to
be wrapped up in young love like that. It's it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
That's gotta be nice, honestly to have that.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
It was amazing. And then he went off to college.
We did the long distance thing. We were dating while
he was abroad. And the thing is he met this
other student from Italy.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Yeah, we all saw that coming.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I'm sorry her longest. His relationships are so hard. That's
why don't let any of your boyfriend's travel.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
No, I think, just be single maybe at that time, okay, okay,
well Tea, so were you heartbroken when he met somebody else?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Well, the thing is, I only found out that he
met somebody else after he had already gotten her pregnant.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Ooh boy, that Sucks's brutal. Yeah, I mean I assume
you just kind of moved on though with your life.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Well I had to. I mean, there really wasn't anything
I could do. He just stayed over there, he continued
to live his life, and he still lived there to
this day.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Oh wow, Do you still like his Italian Facebook photos?
Do you love reacting or with angry emoji? Maybe?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
No, But seriously, that sucks.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
It's okay.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
I mean I was heartbroken at the time, like I
thought my world had ended. I cried every single second. Eventually,
I did move on, and I finally found the right
guy and I married him and he's been my husband
now for a long time.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
It doesn't sound like you're secretly still harboring feelings for
your first boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
But it's fine.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Look, I've never actually forgotten about my first love. I mean,
how do you beat when you're so young and you
find somebody that has really loved you and cares for you.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Mean, well, I'm married, Yeah, you're married.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
You have adult relationships. They're different, you know, they're more
I think, complicated and complex and deeper.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
That's just a long way to say it's worse.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
No, I think I can have a lot deeper connection
with somebody at this age.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
What you have now should be greater than what that was.
And yeah, it worked out to you. Do you feel
that way, Lily.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I have a great husband, and when we actually had
our first son, I told my husband I had this
great name in mind and I was just in love
with this name. And my husband, you know, he wasn't
really into it, but I convinced him, and it was
my high school sweetheart's name.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
What oh, oh, are you saying you've named your baby
after him? I did? Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
No, I can see you hits hard.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
God, how did you convince your husband to name his
like son, your son after your Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
My husband didn't know. I mean, nobody knew about my
sweetheart way back in the day. And oh, my son's
already thirteen because it was a long time ago. But
at this point nobody knows still. And every time I
look at my son, whenever I hear his name, I
just think of this high school guy.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Oh no, that's a good feeling to you, Lily.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I don't know, like, is that is that bad?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Wow? I would hope that the name now has a
new meaning and that that your thirteen year old son
owns it more than your act to you, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Sure, how do you feel when you hear your husband's
name called out loud?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I feel great and I love my husband.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I think you're just up and in love with the
idea of what love was at seventeen. You know, it's
a very romantic idea, right, but the reality of it is.
I mean, who knows. You could have married that guy
and he could have sucked, and you know, you could
have been living this terrible life together.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Yeah. Do you think maybe your high school sweetheart named
his baby after Oh.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
My gosh, Wow, that would be insane.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
She's like, no, I stopped him on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
I already know what her name.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Her name is Carolina. I hope your kid never wants
to go to Italy found a new mom over there.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Serious question, though, Are you ever gonna tell your son
or your husband who was the same I would never know.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
I don't think so, because I know a lot of
people have the same name, so it could have come
from anyone I talked to my parents.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Make your name? Yeah, I think we should all call
her parents into seven eighty five nine too. If you
have a confession, you've been holding on to will hide
your identity, mask your voice, and make you the next
mass speaker phone taps coming up next
