Speaker 1 (00:00):
Steve said in the first class seat and made me
sit and coach go ahead, Steve.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
The floor is shorts. And by the way, I'm putting
on a timer.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Because we have this give me an hour long.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
You've got forty five seconds to explain yourself. Short, Well,
you've got forty five seconds.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah, it's gonna be short, rainy. In New York. We're
on the way to the airport.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
The President is arriving or departing New York, so all
the streets are closed. We're going to run out of time.
Cris is stressed, and you know, as the voice of reason,
I'm saying, it's gonna be okay.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
We're gonna make it. Are we Probably not?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
As you know at JFK, you get to the delta terminally,
you got to run about a mile to get to
your gate.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
It's always your last one twenty seconds.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
We sprint the whole way. Get there, sweaty. I carried
your bags because I'm such a nice man. We get there,
I get upgraded, she doesn't, and I go, hey, you
can have my first class seat.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
She's like, no, I don't want it. I don't want it.
Like you can have it.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
You're right in Delta comfort right behind me, and she's like,
I don't want it. I'm like, okay, how many times
do I have to offer before it's like too much
to offer?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Times up?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Times up? You had forty five seconds. You use it
for the president.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
One time?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Okay, Well, the fact that I offered I should be
given a gold star for that. Okay. Great.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Calm Down with Erin and Carissa is a production of iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Lindsey and Alexander.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
What is one ick that your significant other does that
drives you crazy?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Here's some content for the question.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Right now.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
A struggles with Jared chewing and.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Jaw popping, and I get annoyed when you don't put
your clothes away. Yeah, okay, what's your dick on me?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Steve?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
You know how I won't get mad at you. I promise.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
One thing that really bothers me, and I mean really
bothers me. You continuously buy gifts for people that don't
say thank you. They don't have to buy you a
gift back, but you buy them gifts year after year.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
And they're nice gifts. They're nice gifts, not even to
thank you, not even to thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
So this year I created a spreadsheet of everybody that
got a Christmas gift a monogram, notebook, custom that, whatever
it might be, and the people, including family families not
off limits from this. You didn't say thank you. It
could be a text. Everyone's busy, you don't have time
to call. You should call when you get a gift.
You didn't say thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You're off the list, you guys.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I know you're so crazy because you buy gifts with
every day that ends with.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
The y, like you do.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
You're very generous.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
You guys did not get that.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
They just said thank you. They're still on the list.
Congrats another year.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
You're very expensive.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
So nay, you guys are giving us way too much credit,
way too much credit.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
So thank you, so thank you. Jared. What's your for?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Aaron?

Speaker 5 (02:56):
I just I just.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
Probably the closet thing, I guess, but it's a thank
I don't know, like.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's a mess.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
You're getting better at turning the lights off.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Oh yeah, I you never turn the light if.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
You're leaving the room.

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Just press the button. It's not hard.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
H I love the one that's always so worried about
the air temperature, Like, hey, oh my god, we know
you get.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Mad about that. Oh yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I'm like, you can't leave. You can't go away for
the weekend and have the air conditioning just running constantly.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
It's a nest issue. We're getting the.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Controller of the schedule. We'll then auto schedule it. We've
been together for three years. What are we waiting for?
Start scheduling because I.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Unscheduled. Next learns your routine.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Well, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
You don't need to have the air conditioning on when
we're gone for three weeks at a time and.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
We come back home and the place is freezing.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
No, And then I get to auto Yeah, you know,
you're chewing sometimes. When we discussed this, we were in
a pool in Cabo, you said to me, you too,
Really you're gum like you babe, you got to stop that.
It's your jawp. What you know this my gum chewing?

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Your gum chewing?

Speaker 2 (04:17):
What is it aggressive? I talked about it.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Yeah, just go down a little bit.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And I don't think I'm good. Why don't you say anything?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I just I'm going to point my life, I guess, I.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Said, why He's like, I said, do I do that?
He said yeah, And I go, well, why don't you
say anything I do? And it's so gross, I've seen you.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Okay, let it go.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I feel like, here's what Steve does.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
He holds everything in now and then I feel like
one day he's just gonna it's going to be like,
you know, what's the movie that falling Down or whatever,
and he just fucking loses it, just goes absolutely ape.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Ship the only time will tell.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Okay, well we'll look forward to that. Everybody, stay tuned
for Steve just losing.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
You can't worry about I mean, you know, I don't know.
There's other stuff to worry about, right, I.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Don't know, is there.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Kimberly and Ten says how can females ask for help
around the house without sounding like they're bitching at you?

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I'll tell you. Kimberly, thanks for writing in out. Just
do it in a nice way. Don't ask why something's
not done, Just be like, hey, do you mind? Really cool?

Speaker 4 (05:27):
If you pick these clothes up, I'd be like, right,
it would be do you mind please?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Okay, So, let's someone comes across my love language.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
My love language is words, and they don't have to
really gets the tone.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, we're the tone rangers.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Yeah, yeah, it's just and when we get into arguments.
It's mainly about mainly about the way the tone is.
It's just like you don't get in arguments.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
We get in mister and missus.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
That's what it's called. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Wait, I will admit this though, Aaron and I, because
we talk about this when we're not with you guys,
that we need to be better about how we say
stuff because we are very similar in this way that
I think it just comes out of our mouth and
then we're like, oh my god, that's so aggressive.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
We shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
We shouldn't.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
I'm getting bad there that we could be better. Aaron,
wouldn't you agree that we could be better about that?

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah, okay, So it's not what we say. It's actually enjoyed.
The last couple like days, I've had to say, hey,
lower voice, lawyer.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Voice, I've gotten.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
What what because it's always me that's like a level ten.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
You're a little loud. Lower your voice.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
It's like, oh am, I stee by the way this,
you might want to take this opportunity to speak out
there and you have the voiceover career you want. Steve's octaves,
the range is crazy, how loud he is she down
here doing down here, doing a deal.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
All right, that's right, Bob, all send over those tps
for more.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
By the way, I mean, what what what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
No, it's not oh is it?

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
We got to We've got a concert here tonight.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Are so bad?

Speaker 4 (07:09):
I think I do think maybe an ear session, Aaron?
Did you just go to get something done to your ears?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
To go without her? So bad? You too?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
And sometimes speak up?

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I want to you're yelling when you like are on
the phone, but you're.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Like this hammer and a point home.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, well, the.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Construction I don't want to be as I said, I
said that the level in which you say it is
so loud level. Okay, we'll just go outside and do
it next time. During my re entry, I want to
be upstairs watching h T t V. And the only
hammering I want to hear is on the TV set,
not you down here making deals.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
But make the deals. I'm really proud of. You know.
I've already had that happening. Y'all know how my scholarships
are over all? Right, guys, Well this has been fun
to us.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
So that's the pregame podcast hasn't started yet.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
The plus ones, Ladies and Gentlemen, The Long.

Speaker 7 (08:18):
Away Day give it up episode with the Plus ones
who have been kind enough to join us here today,
and not because they wanted to do it for us,
but they want to do it for their fans and
for those of you that are out there listening.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
You know who you are. Yeah, is there anything you'd
like to your opening remarks here?

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
I think it's only a matter of time before we
split this off into its own entity, which will be
a part of the Calm Down Network, which we're very
excited to have a home there. So yeah, yeah, but
this is the first of many, first of many. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Great.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Yeah, We've been getting a lot of I've been getting
a lot of questions about yeah, when we're starting, Steve,
So we got to we got to figure that out.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
We're not sure yet.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
I just it's coming, It's coming soon. It's coming soon.
That's what I keeps saying.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
So you guest list look like if you had to
build it, what you who are you guys thinking?

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Let me tell you something And I've said this and
I'll say it again.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Great one.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Yeah, behind every star there's a plus one, and there's
a lot of stars out there, so I think we
have a bigger pool of guests to.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Pull from than any other podcast out there.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
It's honestly, I have to give you credit. It's a
good idea. It is a good idea.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Now there's a lot of different you know, sports and you.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Know music, movies, business, entertain crazy.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
Everybody's you know, you're my plus one when we're anything.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
To do with hockey, I'm your plus one football or valet.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
You know.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
It's just no, it goes both ways, and it's it's
it's fun.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
It's get we get to do cool last things when
you get when we follow you guys around and sure
vice versa.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
So it's I think it's definitely good.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
You guys out there in Calm Down Nation, if you
have ideas who their guests should be, please let us know.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Please float it to the guys. Have you guys talked
together desired guest list.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah, we've actually got our first three dream guests locked
in and we've we've gotten a few confirmations.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
We just have to work on you.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
You're not willing to share those here today on the podcast.
They can't just close that. Okay, fair enough, sure not today.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Some people they initially say they're in, right, but you've got.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
To get good all those look it's hard to doing
a podcast.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
Yeah, not the eyes and cross the teeth.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
But well we'll sort Yeah, we'll get there. We'll get there.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Well, So for those that don't didn't listen to the pregame,
the impetus of the plus one podcast was all about
the Jarrett and Steve's previous points being the plus ones
two different events that we come to. But I will
say that you guys not only are plus one because
I think plus ones has a bad connotation. Sometimes it's like, oh,
it's like and this person, It's like, I've never.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Felt more confident in any title in my entire life.
I love it.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Okay, good, I think it's better than saying wags or
anything like that.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
I'm gonna be honest, I don't even know what that
stands for.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
So wives and girlfriends, oh please, like you didn't have some?
But why are you acting like you have no idea
what that acronym?

Speaker 4 (11:11):
So?

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Well, then you could say, if.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
You're an insecure person or you're a jealous person, you're
not happy about the plus one time, Steve are pretty
we're pretty secure with ourselves, and we're pretty confident with ourselves, and.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
We going to Super Bowls.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
You know who's also band with one hundred and fifty
people dancing in a little room and having free drinks
and having air conditioning, And I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Okay, you know who's also confident being a plus one?
Diane Long? Oh my god, what do you read she is?

Speaker 5 (11:44):
Shout out to Diane Long.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
What do you love so much about Diane?

Speaker 3 (11:47):
She's the leader of Plus one Nation for sure?

Speaker 6 (11:49):
Yeah she is. Yeah, she leads that crew. She's just
a baller like that whole family, what you know, raising
those animals in a great way. No, Howie's great. But
Diane she kind of she leaves the show there. But no,
it's fun hanging out with her and all the girls

(12:10):
in New Orleans. We made sure we had a good
time at the concert, made sure they got back to
the hotel, safe drinks at the hotel bar late night.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Sure, it's fun, so as our plus ones in some events.
What's the since you guys were kind enough to accompany
us to the Hollywood Improv when we were there, which
was such a fun night. What sort of what do
you hear out there in the streets? What's the rumblings
on the whole podcast? And you guys in particular.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
I'm gonna be honest, I didn't really have much time
to listen. We were too busy taking photos of fans
in the lobby of the employer. Maybe Jared, maybe I
don't know, your ears were a little more in tune
than mine, But I mean we were.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
You guys were so geeked up that night. You were
so proud, Like, honestly, Christmas, I've done Super Bowls, We've
done big events, Chris has hosted things like you guys,
it was like we won the Lumbar and the Stanley
that night.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
You guys were so proud of us.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
I was really honest, I didn't know what. I didn't
know what. Maybe I just didn't know what to think
or what it was going to be like.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
And when we saw the people and we walked in
and there was like the bar was downstairs or in
the front, and you go to the back to the
to the room. It was obviously sold out. And you
guys were so funny. You did a great job.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
But like people and say, people came from Indonesia to
see the com.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Down and he was on vacation.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
I'm telling you, we met him in the lobby. They
came from Indonesia. I said, oh, you're here for all
the other comedy shows. They go, no, we came for
the Calm Down podcast and I go, look, we're We're.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Came to see Rodeo Drive.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
But they just mixed it in the range.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
So well, sitting in New Orleans in the stands for
the Super Bowl and like, yeah, you guys were so
complimentary and like supportive obviously, but your reaction at the
improv versus New Orleans. So when we both were done
working at Super Bowl in front of millions, and they
were not so.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Different because everybody had everybody had such a great time.

Speaker 6 (14:07):
It was I wish you guys, honestly, you know, I
wouldn't say this a lot of a lot of different situations,
but I wish you guys had more time up there.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
It was like it went fine, like an hour. It
was an hour.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
It went fine, too quick, too quick. I would have
done a hour show.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
I would Okay, well, yours all your fans, seeing all
your fans, seeing like everybody in your guys' lives, and
like even with me and Steve were.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
Like, oh my god, there's Stephen Jared. I was like,
I didn't expect that.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
Steve I don't know if you did, but it was like.

Speaker 5 (14:36):
That kind of stalking a little bit, So you did.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
I can't.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
I just you know, I think, Uh it was funny,
Yeah it was. It was awesome, I.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Think, and it was your guy, you know what I mean,
Like the super Bowl is amazing, that's the whole world's thing,
and it was fun to say, yeah, this is your
guys thing.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
So it's like, yeah, okay, it is our thing.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Which I have to say, you guys are very as
evidenced by that storytelling right there, you are very supportive
of us, and we appreciate that. And you know that
you end up being a lot of material on the podcast,
not because you know, this is just this podcast. This
podcast make Me nervous podcast is about our life, and.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
So since you guys are such a big part of
our life, we have to talk about you.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
So Ryan has outlined some of the topics that I
think it's only fair that you guys get to defend
yourself on since it's always just Aaron and I's interpretation
of situations. So Steve, we will start with you. For
those of you that recall Steve, there was a first
class seat and there was a coach sheet, and Steve
sat in my first class seat.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
I shouldn't say mine.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Steve sat in the first class seat and made me
sit and coach go ahead, Steve, the floor is yours.
And by the way, I'm putting on a timer because
we have you've got forty five seconds to explain yourself.
Well you've got forty five seconds.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Sure, Yeah, it's gonna be short Bany in New York.
We're on the way to the airport. The President is
arriving or departing New York, so all the streets are closed.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
We're going to run out of time.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Curris is stressed, and you know, as the voice of reason,
I'm saying it's gonna be okay.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
We're gonna make it. Are we Probably not?

Speaker 4 (16:12):
As you know at JFK, you get to the delta terminally,
you got to run about a mile to get to
your gate.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
It's always your last one twenty second.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
We sprint the whole way, get there, sweaty. I carried
your bags because I'm such a nice man. We get there,
I get upgraded. She doesn't, and I go, hey, you
can have my first class seat. She's like, no, I
don't want it. I don't want it, like you can
have it. You're right in delta comfort right behind me.
She's like, I don't want it. I'm like, okay, how
many times do I have to offer before it's like too much?

Speaker 6 (16:42):
Off?

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Times up, times and times up. You had forty five seconds.
You use it for the president.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
I should have been one time.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Well the fact that I offered I should be given
a gold star for that.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Okay, great?

Speaker 3 (16:55):
How many times? How many times did you offer at
least three or four? At least three or not enough?

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Is the answer?

Speaker 4 (17:01):
Not enough?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
So here's how this game is going to work since
as exampled, but that we're gonna go forty five seconds
for each and we're not allowed to interrupt.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Aaron the plus ones counter argument. She makes it these rules.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Right after Steve goes about something that's bothered for a year.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
I'm still getting comments about it.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Okay, then guess what if you if you let us
get through this, then you can maybe have forty five
seconds on the back end to keep going.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Okay. Jarrett is the game show host.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Here's the pre here's the topic. Jarrett staying patient with
EA when getting ready. Oh, this isn't a negative this
is a good thing. Jarrett, Please explain to the audience
how you continue to say so patient when Aaron may
be having trouble getting ready to go.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
And the car is there, and I'm like, I.

Speaker 6 (17:51):
Hate the way I look so in hockey and and
a lot of obviously occupations whatever. I don't like to
be late. We're not allowed to be late. If you're
five minut it's earlier late. So I hate being late.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
So I'm on ways and I know exactly how long.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
It's going to take to get to dinner or take
to take to get to an event that we're going to.
So your guys's house, so I make sure the uber's there.
But ubers right in fifteen minutes. They maybe charge you
or they leave, So I'm kind of gauging that. I'm
texting the guy right on the uber thing. It's like, boom,
I'll be right there. I do another one, Boom, I'll
be right there. So he doesn't leave.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
I just try to make comments.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
I try to stomp around a little bit, make some
noise downstairs to know that she's still like, you know
that what I mean? Yeah, And then at some point
it's got to be like mabe, but we ready, ready,
let's go, or I go up and down the stairs
a lot too and make.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
She I just got to check.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
I gotta, I gotta get a visual.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Where we are.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
It's very good.

Speaker 5 (18:45):
It does me nuts.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
You're getting better, though, don't interrupt the plus one.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
You're very patient.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
You're getting better. But I hate being late.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, I hate being late too.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Sorry if that was longer.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Than forty five seconds, No, you're no, you summarize it.
There were great. Okay. The next one is Steve. Oh,
let's not. We won't row you up anymore messing up.
It doesn't seem like it. All right, we'll give you
a positive one.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Steve dressing up for FaceTime dates. So last week Steve
and I.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Could see each other. Steve, you have the idea, Oh
do you want to you? Actually this the floor is yours,
but the.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Ones I'm just a plus one on one.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Different backgrounds. Okay, So Steve, go ahead.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
You have forty five seconds to explain where you came
up with this great idea and what your inspiration for
it is.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
I don't know where I came up with it, but
it's just one of those things where you got to
switch it up every once.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
In a while.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
You know, you guys are on your eight we're on
year three, and when we're not together, just you know,
sometimes a phone call doesn't suffice, So I think you
need to switch it up. FaceTime dates fellas for all
the fellas out there, which I don't think you guys
think that. Guys listen to this. A lot of guys
listening to this podcast. They get a lot of guys,
a lot of tidbits on on how to operate around

(19:59):
there magnificant others.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Try a FaceTime date. Put a suit on.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
You don't have to wear any pants, just well, you
get it, like, put a jacket on and a shirt,
pour a glass of wine, maybe lights some candles.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Goes a long way.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
He also changes background. He changes his background. He's like,
guess what I just bought? You have first class seat
to Paris And he'll change the background he's like bon
and then he'll change the background to Vegas and he's like, we're.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Going family.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
First class.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
Yeah, we all know.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
It wasn't the first class.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Damn right, it wasn't. I was on the wing of
an airplane, all right. Next one, Eric.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Came after, Yeah, I want to change this one instead
of cooking Monster. I wanted to talk about We went
to Disney this week and it was so magical. We
all know that it's my favorite place to be. I
love it so much, but I think you got a real,
like first person that's not the word. You got to

(20:58):
experience why I love it so much. I think of
Disney not because I love the rides or the princesses,
but front rosiat because of my memories with my family.
And I saw a Jared Stole including two costume changes,
outfit changes, you had to buy shirts, and you were
so excited about anything else was coming over to see
our son. What was that like as a dad taking

(21:19):
your son to Disney for the first time because it
was a different Jared Stole at Disney.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Oh wow.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
I just wanted him to have a great time and
him to enjoy it, because it's definitely not going to
be his first or second or third time going to
Disneyland or Disney World.

Speaker 5 (21:33):
So yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
Knew he'd probably be a little bit scared, probably at
the start of the characters and seeing them and you know,
them coming over and touching them and stuff.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
And that was cool.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
Like with Mickey, he had a little bit of a
struggle at to start, but he did end up touching
him at the end.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
And shaking his hand or giving him a high five.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
And the funniest part of the whole thing, the whole
day and a half was Many came over at breakfast
at the character breakfast and Mac was introducing Many to
all of us to Minnie, like it was, it was unbelievable.
Was like daddah and then pointed to like Mommy and
then like came with us. So like he was like

(22:09):
telling Minnie, you know, showing Mini. Everybody holding Minnie's hands.
So it was just cool, cool to see. He wasn't
like laughing at a lot of the stuff, but he was.
He was just like his mouth was open. He was
like couldn't believe what he was seeing. There was just
so much.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
Simulation overload, like you used to see like normal people
and then you see all these Yeah, yeah, but in
a good way.

Speaker 5 (22:31):
Now next time we go back, it's going to be
even better.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
But what was your deal in the gift shop? You
couldn't buy enough shirts for yourself.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
I just I was cold. I needed a sweatshirt. I
was a little chilly.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
And then they had that one button button up shirt
that was kind of cool that I could wear with
a T shirt and just leave open.

Speaker 5 (22:49):
So those were my two purchases.

Speaker 6 (22:51):
And then Mac needed a bunch of stuff, so that
was that was It was good to buy him stuff
with Mickey on it.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Is you just wondering as the last time I was there,
I was proud to be featured on the account? Did
you get on the Hot Dads of Disney World account? Okay, okay,
big account on Instagram?

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Steve, I am not a father. I am not a father.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
I was. I was there with Matthew and Kelly and
all the girls a few years ago now, so like
I'm pushing a stroller.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Matthew just won the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Yeah, so this is another time we went. This is
another time we just took the girls.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Uh so, Matthew and I were probably featured on the
Hot Dads of Disney Instagram.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
I'm gonna pick it up right now. It's an Instagram
that's hysterical.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
That's the handle of it.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
It's like, yeah, it's like on Instagram. It's like dil
So Disneyland or.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Something of Disney something like.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
That's amazing, dil I feel like you could pull like
Disneyland literally, Oh my god, no, Jared, I don't see
you on here.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
We to go back here.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
We gotta tag him.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
There must be another account.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Then said, sorry, baby, three three hundred eighty six thousand.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
You're so like about to be on a different one.
There's no way they missed me.

Speaker 5 (24:20):
So you're on this Steve.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
It was a few years ago. My wife a rabbit.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
Hole in this one.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Oh my god, sorry baby, I don't see Peter rabbit.
That does not look.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
Like when who's taking these pictures?

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Oh, it's so up sad. He's going to DM these
people there the other you the hottest dad.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Bring the hottest Dad's of Disneyland and California Adventure.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
We're going back. Then, shout out to Disneyland, Jared.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
To be too funny.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Oh my god, shout out too good. All right, well you.

Speaker 5 (24:55):
Guys, you guys are coming by us next time.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Yes you are.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
I'll promise that it's not a but we do it right,
We freaking do it right. I took a nap at
noon and we the big kids, drank and went on rides.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
It was a time.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
I just I'm not the I'm not the adult that
likes Disneyland to go by myself.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
I think that's weird. It's like, have a kid to go,
but now we have a child.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Yeah, our nephew NMAK, And that's a great enough reason Jared.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
If I come, hopefully we'll get featured.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Well, there's only one kid, so are you going to
push the stroller?

Speaker 3 (25:26):
I think they just kind of yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
All right.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
As we close this thing out, do you have any
final thoughts or comments concerns Steve that you feel bear
out your grievances right now.

Speaker 3 (25:36):

ones podcast and it takes off like an absolute rocket ship.

Speaker 1 (25:55):

But when we're taking pictures and then you guys kiss Yeah,
I looked at you and I go, why don't you
kiss me?

Speaker 4 (27:19):
They kissed?

Speaker 2 (27:20):
We should have a kissed. And then I was like, wait, no,
we're gonna think that we're not just love that.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
I know.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
We don't want them to think you're not in love
because you know you're in love, but you don't need
to you know, but I don't want to have to.
