They are on the show today Blue. It's a special
show because folks, I want you guys to hear a
(01:30):
story of a young man that we've come to love.
You and I have talked about Sammy alone on private conversations.
Sammy is an intern that came from Chicago, and Sammy,
I just want you to explain to everybody listening how
you came to us, because you're an asset young man
and we're gonna miss you the days your last day,
and you know, I want to know exactly the whole story,
(01:52):
from where you went to school to how you found us,
to how you came here and I want more people
like you. So people are listening and you're halfway as
good as this guy. Sammy. If you're a Sammy, please
share your story. Sammy, where where'd you go to school?
Because you're a college student. Yeah, I'm a junior at
the University of Illinois in our bandic Champagne. So I'm
from Chicago. Go to you have I? Um? I found
(02:15):
I Heart Radio Cannabis talk one on one on Handshake,
I think one of the internship websites, and Jennifer Crusoe
hit me up. I I applied, she hit me up
and it was actually from your account. I don't even
know if you get all the Yes, I know it's
from your account. So we had the interview set up.
You just contact you back. But I get to right
(02:36):
they all before, Yeah, you get them all. Um. During
the interview. It was ten minutes before the interviews into
the mic my week, Um, I didn't get a zoom
link or anything. So I was freaking out. I really
wanted this job. Yeah that was you. Okay, that was funny.
Are you nervous right now? Very my mom? If my
(02:58):
mom is like, no, we're getting this guy's number, I
don't give a ship like you applied, you're gonna get
the interview. I'm like, all right, let's take it easy.
We're trying to find you. We get your number, and
how did you find how did you talk me? You
get my number? My mom's a fucking gangster. I don't
know you actually called myself, didn't you? Two on three number?
Do you remember? I don't know. That's because I know
I have an eight one eight like online somewhere, so
(03:20):
I just didn't know what and then they forward it comes,
but I just whatever, we'll go ahead. Nobody answered. I'm like, fuck,
I blew it. I blew it. Cannabis talk one on one,
I heart radio. I blew it. I missed it, um
because I didn't answer because you didn't answer. Oh my god,
that's hilarious. Okay, continue. Uh. Then you called me the
next morning, woke me up, so thank you. I woke up,
(03:42):
and it's funny because you called me from a Chicago number.
I had some business with some people in Chicago recently,
and I'm wondering if there was these people, so I
had to call back goin. I'm so intrigued. The next morning,
so you're right, I'm like, hey, I missed your call yesterday.
I remember calling You're right, It's so fun. You know
how that goes when you see an interesting number, like,
wait a minute, I know some people. I'm doing something. Yeah,
I got to call that number back. Now you know
that happened six six number that I sank you for
(04:03):
calling me back. I'm here, and that's what happened. I
called you back and then you call me back. You're like,
you know, Jennifer will send you an email, set up
an interview, and then I hit Jennifer and make sure
you hit this kid up. Huh no, so so so
when he got hit up, right, I didn't. And then
you spoke to Jennifer who interviewed you. Jennifer and then
how was it? It's great? How did she do interviewing you? Shitty? Really?
(04:25):
She was great, like j She just slammed the door.
She was great. Company sounded great. Everything that I read
sounded great. You guys are awesome. I watched the I
watched the Santana podcast online. Yeah, I watched the Rob
White Swan who had Entourage, one of my favorite shows ever.
(04:48):
Did you ever watch me any then? Did you know
he was in it? I know? I saw your IMDV
and you're on it. Yeah, fourth episode, first season, Yes,
fourth episode, first season, sir. Nice. Yeah, I started from
the top and you just got to the fourth episode
and you'll see that. Yeah awesome. Yeah, it's really barely
see him. But yeah, well you can see a lot
of me actually, because I was so big, a bigger,
you can see a lot of me there. But so
go ahead that you seen that, You've seen that came here,
(05:10):
Jennifer was good. How did you come here though? From Chicago?
Did you move out here? Like? What does that play?
How does that? I'm staying at the Hotel Marriott in
Anaheim right now, shout out to the Marriott. Did this
internet moved out here? I moved out here like a
big play? Yeah? And then but but you're just staying
here for now? Are you going back home now? Going
back home to Chicago? Toro? Do you plan on moving back?
(05:34):
I don't know. It's you know, I want to be
in the film industry, want to write movies one day.
You got a good pen, have a great attitude. Did
you stand out to us? I mean there's a lot
of things you do that were like that, Sammy kid,
I appreciate that and so does Pitt. When Pitt gives
you called yeah and you know and here's the funniest
(05:54):
thing you ready for this? He p It's really been
the one that's pushed for your hardest because then it
made me look at you going okay, yeah, I see
what he's doing. Oh yeah, that guy's a good guy.
Oh yeah, he working off as any Coming to studio
and working here took yeah. And so so Sammy, let
me ask you, know, UM, if you could sell us
what you've learned right from from being around us in
here in this facility, do you have anything that you
(06:16):
learned well, I think growing up in in Chicago, in
the city, I have that like fast faced mentality. Coming
here very beneficial because if I don't know, if I
had lived in the suburbs, maybe I wouldn't have got
the right um attitude enough to speed for working here
like UM I have grown accustomed to. So I really
(06:39):
appreciate that. I like the UM the culture here. It's incredible,
fast spaced culture. I've been learning a lot from Jennifer
and Erica have They've been great teaching me and hearing
you guys do your do your things. UM. Interviewing these
great UM guests. Brian Buckley is incredible. Everybody that he
(07:00):
brings on is incredible. I'm editing those interviews and I'm
just amazed every every guy he brings on. Um, it's
just better than the next. So it's incredible. Sorry, yeah,
go ahead, you can pick it up. So you get
excited listen to those. That's great. And then and then
let me ask you did you expect? Like what did
(07:21):
you expect when you got here? Coming in? Like, yeah,
what were you going to expect? Like you're walking into well,
the location here's you know, it's it's weird. Yeah. Yeah,
coming here without the signs at the front door was
a little sketchy. Yeah, no, science That's that's why my
mom was out here. She's like, I'm gonna make sure
my my boys safe. Yeah, and thank you for being
(07:43):
so nice to Yeah, that was great. And she's like,
you know, everybody hears very likable. Um, and I feel
like you can you can stay out here. So I'm like, great, yeah,
well I think you know because I when your mom
walked in and brought you, and first of all, you
she was sitting in the car and then you're inside
and I'm like, who's this laid in the car because
she was frying her ass out outside. Yeah, And I'm like,
(08:05):
who's this lady in the carbon sitting there? And everybody's like,
I don't know. And all of a sudden we're looking
at it. He's like, oh, that's what my mom. And
I'm like, oh, I'll tell her to come in, Like
what's she doing in the car? I didn't tell her
to the car. I went outside and I met her,
introduced myself, and then you could just see, like you know,
and she had a lot of questions, you know. She
was just like, boom, we're getting ready to record a show.
(08:27):
And I don't know if I told you. I think
you obviously knew what happened, but we're getting ready to show,
and I'm like, you guys, go ahead, you know, record
the show. And I took the time to just hang
out with her, take her out back, talk to her,
and kind of explained to her like, look, you know,
we are a cannabis radio show. You know, we produced content, um,
but we don't get high all day, you know what
I mean? Because I think in her mind, like you know,
(08:48):
she maybe thought that maybe I thought she thought, oh,
we're gonna get a high all day blah blah blah
or I don't know that's what I thought. What do
you think she thought, Sammy, it's a good question. I
don't think that's what her that's what was on her
mind at all. She just wanted because the I mean,
we've never been to Standing or Anaheim. I never want
to California, let alone. Yeah, we've been to California, but
(09:10):
they're never over here, you know. So it's definitely almost
like a form what city in Orange County are they
and where is that? Yeah? So um, it's like, I
don't know what she was thinking, but you know she
she's glad I'm here, and she's glad that you guys will.
What she was thinking, too, is I'm a parent and
I want to make sure my son's safe and sound
in California. She's like, I've got a flight and I'm leaving. Yeah,
(09:36):
I want to make sure my son's okay. Absolutely, Actually,
you're a junior. Told you you're twenty years old, you're
out here in California, growing and living. We're gonna come back,
Sammy from Chicago. We've got more questions from him, and
I just want to share with people, like this is
what we do with people that are in college going
back to a senior year. We're growing the community from
state to state, from city to city. It's Cannabis Talk one.
(09:58):
I want the city near you. We'll be right back
after this. We'll be right back with Cannabis Talk one
oh one. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk one oh one.
Turn your typical into something special, folks. When it comes
(10:21):
in it to use products, the flavor you taste should
be just as enjoyable as the feeling you experienced. Visit
the website Lorraine oils dot com. That's l O R
A N and O I l s dot com. Sammy
from Chicago interns with us. Twenty years old, folks, is
in the cannabis game. What do you think now that
you've learned about the cannabis industry that you didn't know before?
(10:43):
And maybe what you thought was who and now you
see something different. If you don't say that too, I'm
gonna put this back on. Just lean closer. Um, Okay, Well,
how I got into cannabis was anxiety pretty much, so
you s Yeah, I smoke. I was very anxious all
(11:05):
the time. Indica was a lifesaver for me. Smoking Indica
I'm a big insomniac too, so smoking weed Indica primarily
is you know, got me to be a little less
anxious and go to sleep. My god, So that's kind
of where I started. Um, the impact that cannabis has
(11:28):
had on soldiers lives, not soldiers lives, veterans, lives that
have come out of the Army and Navy and military
and all that, and just hearing all the interviews and
editing them is really outstanding. Like I knew that cannabis
had a great benefit for people with PTSD, but hearing
(11:49):
the actual stories from real life people myself is really significant,
I think. So I knew a little bit about it,
but you know, hearing about it from you guys, talking
with Brian Buckley and all his his incredible people that
he's brought on it really shed a light on this
whole cool thing. Yeah, I'm glad that it helped. I
(12:12):
love it. Shout out to Brian Buckley. I love the guy.
And he had an article about us and him on
and the Ly Time. So with the big up to
you in the early times, he's making a lot of
awesome that's funny. So that really changed your image on
more than medical but you're more of a medical aspect
type for anxiety this and that. So you kind of
already understood the medical aspect, but you didn't really associate
(12:33):
how powerful it is for this in the community basically. Yeah,
I mean, I mean we've had, you know, half a
dozen a dozen of these veterans on the vall said
nearly the same thing about how it has helped their lives,
benefited their lives, um with their some of them have
talked about the opioid UH substance abuse that they've gone
(12:55):
through and how cannabis has helped push off of that
terrible addiction led to something a little bit better that
can actually make them feel better. UM. So yeah, that
was that was. What's the what's the Chicago market like
right now? Um? You know out there being there prior
to coming here. I don't know if you've seen any
dispensaries here or anything like that, But what's it like
(13:17):
out there? What do you know anything about? Yeah? So
I've been to a few dispensories in Chicago all over Illinois, UM,
and they're not like the dispensaries out here. Out here,
it's like an Apple story kind of you can walk
in and be like oh, you know, I want this
joint right here and pointed out and they'll get it
for you. In Chicago, you kind of have to know
(13:38):
what you want. You have to look at the menu
before and be like, can I please get this or
even place in order before. They don't have any of
the weed on display or anything. So that was the
biggest difference, like coming over here and getting to go
to a dispensary and you can see all of it
and actually talk to the person to have a conversation
and ask questions about, oh, what's this hybrid? I get
(14:01):
very anxious about this. How do you think this is
gonna be for me? Like? Which THC percentage do you
think is? And they've been very helpful and responsive. So
that's that's the difference. So, Samy, what's the major media
and cinema studies? Media and cinema studies? So mine was radio,
television and films, very similar concepts. So as you do,
you have a minor critical film productions. It's also same
(14:24):
Field's cool with a minor Their mind was sociology. That's dope,
but um so same Field movie. Do you have a vision?
Is there like one project that you've been holding since
you were twelve, that like, if I could make this one,
I want to do that. What is it? It's the
story of this comedian Anthony Griffith from Chicago and African
American comedian from Chicago who was famous in the late
eighties early nineties, who was on Johnny Carson plenty of times.
(14:48):
And I saw this, you know Ted Talks and all those.
I saw one of his Ted Talks years ago and
was inspired by his story. Growing up in Chicago, he
moved out here California, UM to pursue comedy, stand up comedy,
got in touch with Carson, and he experienced one of
(15:08):
the most devastating things anybody can experience, the loss of
a child. His his daughter's dying of some terrible form
of cancer. And he had to pretend like nothing was
happening on stage because he's got he's got a job
to make people laugh. And nobody wants to see a
(15:29):
comedian go up on stage and and upset the audience
or leave the audience not underwhelmed. So he had to
battle that. He wrote a book called Behind the Laughter,
which I recommend. Great book details his whole um, his
whole story, so his uh, he his Ted Talk really
(15:51):
impacted me because I'm a huge stand up fan, loved
it ever since I was little. He's a great stand
up comedian that I feel like nobody really knows about. Um.
I didn't know about him until I saw him, and
I thought the story was so incredible that I'm like,
I gotta make listen to a movie like he's got
this this Ted Talk, but this Ted talks ten fifteen minutes?
(16:12):
Was he really successful during his error? That small round?
I remember the name A little bit, very small run,
I mean, no small run. I mean he may, I
mean you may get a Johnny Carson, especially at that time.
It was a good run. That's the cream, that the
cream of the crop. But you know you didn't get
back and then you didn't come on to the who
was that the Johnny passed away? Still? I want you
still have heat? Yeah? Met him? No, I haven't, because
(16:36):
you know, you want to do his movie. No, I've
been trying to reach out to him on everything. Where's
your Miami dB? Never? That was good? And yet circle back,
you know, like circle in the story I mean of
them this story? Absolutely Yeah, I mean did you tell
(16:57):
your my mom? I want to go I want to
do this like you want to get this internship. You
got the internship ship. I'm sure you'll get the movie. Yeah,
I'm trying. Oh it's really trying. Is lying around here?
We are? I mean even the funny thing. Just think
though said Sammy had that vision, like what we see
in him is there because he already has that vision
to to do something like that. You are there, thank you.
You know. I think that, like you know, when we
(17:19):
have interns command or we have people that that are
looking for jobs or or whatever that may be, we
we tend to kind of like look at people and
be like, Okay, is this guy gonna really make it?
And some of them, you know, they don't. And it's
it's you know, it's that came by yesterday by the
way to show off of yesterday, and the whole crowd
got to meet Peanut and he came from my heart
as a guy who was yesterday. Peanut told the story
(17:42):
if I was on his neck, did he did he
go on the show? No, he just came by the
kick and he brought his cousin by talks about this
the first time I think second time he came to
your birthday, I think yeah or something. He came by.
He said he was kiding with you before. I think
he came by another time he did. It was just
I can remember him being here. Actually yeah he let
him out great, oh my god. Yeah he was like, man,
(18:03):
I wish I was still here with you all. And
like Shammy heard another interns And for those who are
listening don't know, Peanut was a guy that worked with
us and worked with Pitt as an engineer, and now
we got him a job at I Heeart as an
engineer at KF I just one of the small stations.
If I still free to look at all the awards
that stations won. His one hand mar Coni Award winning stations.
(18:23):
You know, so Sammy, So Sammy, what's what's your game plan? Now?
Have you ever thought of that? Going home? What you
have a game plan that you're thinking of. I'm trying
to bang these screenplays out. Um, that sounded all that sound?
That sounded all sexual. Those in Chicago, Can I come
and I want to screen? I want I want to
(18:44):
screen and play too. That sounded terrible. I'm trying trying
to sound of wonderful. I don't know what terrible fantastic.
Mom might not like it, but it wasn't the right show.
That wasn't a good way to say it. Oh rephrase.
I'm trying to write these gameplays and bang them out. Um,
(19:05):
just trying to write them. I got a few ideas
that I have. I just want to make sure they're
if they're clean and polished and ready to go, so
when the chance comes, hopefully I can. Well here's a
random idea of Sammy. Yes, I'm gonna take a break
and come back and tell you it's Canada's Talk one
oh one. We'll be right back with Cannabis Talk one
oh one. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk one o one.
(19:38):

is the website, their drinks, they're people, their staff, they're girl,
(20:00):
they're beautiful text messages that I love with them. Good people,
good people, Sammy, here's my idea. You ready A young writer,
A young inspired, inspired, inspired, talented young man that you are.
If you ever feel like you want to do something,
utilize all of our talents over here that you can
muster up something, and then you go, Joe and Blue,
I got this script for us to do. Let's put
(20:21):
together the team's put together the short and let's go
shoot it. And you come up with the idea from Chicago,
and then you fly in and we fully have production
meeting beforehand. If we get the concept of course together
and it makes all yeah exactly, if we all agree
but that this is what you're doing, then let's do it.
You know. I mean, that's how I love you, and
(20:42):
that's what I'm saying. You come up with something, let's
see what we're doing, and let's put it together. Yeah exactly,
Le's see what we can do, because that's what you
want to do it because you already have the visions,
like you already proved, I mean, they already have a
big vision for your big movie. You already want to
write five ten different things. So like I'm telling, you,
come up with something with us that you and you've
been here enough. You know us enough, you know Blue well,
(21:02):
you know me well enough. You've been here every single day.
You see artisms. You know what I mean? So have
some fun writing something that we can do as a
short about cannabis talk one oh one love it? You
know it? Fun da pheel. Do you feel that you
want to still purchase pursue this industry? Uh? Yeah? Do
you feel like you'll find another better place than ours?
(21:23):
How about? But do you feel like cannabis industry or
cannabis in production? Because you're you're in production in the
cannabis industry, That's true. I My ultimate goal is a big,
you know dream, but like I want to be the
next Tarantino right and direct my own films one day. Um,
whether that has to do or be directly involved with cannabis,
(21:44):
I don't know whether the characters are smoking weed. I
don't know, possibly, but we'll see. I I just know
that that's the vision that I have. I just really
want to make movies. And what was the gentleman's name?
You want to shoot the movie with Anthony Griffith. Okay,
So when you get ahold of Anthony, what are you
gonna ask? M h, what are am I going to ask?
What do you say? What do we got him on
(22:04):
the phone right now? Curious? I'll say Hey, Anthony, your story. Uh,
it's truly incredible. It needs I feel like it needs
to be met on a water scale, a broader scale,
so millions of people can relate to your story. And
I think making it into a feature film one day
would be beneficial for everybody experiencing things like it. Not
(22:29):
like it. It's just about because everybody has had a
bad day and we have to fake being happy. Um,
that's kind of what the movie. I feel like now
I'm starting to see the movie. Also, I see it altogether,
and the more of the story is wherever you think
there's tragedy, there's still other outcomes that happened. Still hope
(22:50):
and then no matter how hurting and I am inside,
there's a huge moral of the movie. Well, and my
niece died at nine months. I know the pain too,
but my brother I was in the room. It's just
I deal with. When you said the worst thing you
can deal with, I already answered the pill before you
said his daughter died, like the worst of your child died.
My need was a niece, so I said daughter. But um,
you know, I don't know what child has that passed away.
But that's the worst thing that any man and I
(23:13):
went through and God been nothing to happened. But yesterday
we were we were the last two days we've been,
you know, running a gun in the day before that,
we were here till ten o'clock at night, you know,
doing a mix and loading looking at the security midnight
and then we had to load up. But we're loading
up all the stuff and get it already. And then
and I'm just like God, dude. And then the next
(23:34):
day I went to to Atalanta or we had an
event here. We were here till and then and then
we were here till another midnight. And then we had
you know, an event in the Atlanto the next day,
and you know, and shout out to all the launch
of Atlanto Growers and the Growers Association and the mayor
and all the good people that were out there, the
Vice TEMP, the temp and all them, um. But so
(23:56):
and then and I was like, damn it, Like you know,
my son normally we talked like three or four times
a day, and the hand and I didn't hit him,
but I remember when he said he was when I left,
I'm like, damn. He said he was sick. He wasn't
feeling well. So my mind went into like, holy sh it,
like I haven't really called my son in two days,
you know, he and he's he's seventeen, you know, so
it's not he's not so young, a lot longer, but still,
(24:17):
but the mind goes crazy. But I came home every
night and I've seen his car, you know what I mean,
the first night, but the second and the second night,
I didn't see his car. And then the next day
I didn't hear from all day, and I'm like, what
the hell is going on? So I got scared of it,
and I was trying to call him. He wasn't answering,
and so I was like running into my house and
it kind of freak about to freak out, and then
and I just called him, calling back to back. Finally
(24:38):
he called me back. He's like, oh, hey, I was sleeping.
I'm sorry. You know. I was like, how are you feeling?
Like I'm feeling okay. I'm just like okay, cool, you know,
because my mind went into that same feeling like oh
my god, dude, you know, I haven't seen him a
couple of days, and what if something's wrong with him?
You know, something happened, you know, so you know that
that that could be the worst. And then I think
the next thing is is you know, the way you said,
(24:59):
you're still hoping and everything else, and that because because
you still work well, some of some of your biggest
losses are are your best, uh, you know, learning lessons
in life. You know, I really thoroughly believe that, you know,
a lot of times, you know, you know, God or
your spiritual or you know, whatever it is that you
believe in put you in a position to take things
(25:20):
on that you can handle. And those things that you
handle are also uh, passages, passageways for others to see
into and understand. Like I learned from Oh my God,
your story of telling me that you know, you heard
this guy who was on stage and and his child
is going through this, but he has to go up
there and crack jokes all day. But his daughter is dying,
(25:42):
you know, and he and and so those are things
that we all learn from. You know, not only do
you learn, but people next to you learn from. And
the cliches of as simple as I remember as a
little kid that what's her name artists made a song,
but what doesn't kill you literally makes you stronger in life.
And you know, and that was one of the strongest quotes.
I remember saying this to my oldest daughter and the
(26:04):
song came out during her growth and she was like, Dad,
you used to say this to me. I'm like getting
a great song when I love it because it's so
fucking real, And it's apparent to this movie that you
want to make, because what didn't kill him made him stronger. Absolutely,
and it's a great idea for a movie. I believe too,
just from the moral of what I'm saying. If you
do get him on when you do get him on
(26:24):
the phone, I think you just tell me. Look, you know,
I'm a student that's coming out fresh. I just didn't
intern with my heart and and cannabis talk one on one,
and I would love to, you know, sit with you
and hear more about your story, put together something for
you and see if we can actually make it come
to life. And I think that it's real simple like you,
you know, because when you're trying to is interested in
(26:45):
presenting a story, there's that first that's the first question.
Are you comfortable? Well, he already did it, he already wrote,
he already went through that whole experience of writing the
book must have been so painful. I don't want to
do that to the guy again with a fucking movie.
So that's the concern in my head. So why would
you make his book a movie? Well that well, yeah,
(27:05):
well that's what he's saying. Yeah, but but so but
but what I think, you know, but what I'm saying
is is like I think that that he does want
that right because he understands it, just like he wrote
the book, that he as hard as it was to
get that book out, that he had to get the
message out for others to know. And because there's other
people that are just like him that feel that way,
(27:27):
you know, I agree. I think I think it's gonna happen. Well,
we're gonna do that, yes, yes, Sammy, you know, we
like to do the high five with everybody. So it's
now Sammy from Chicago, and I can't wait for your
family out there, especially the aunts and uncles that didn't
know a little little Sammy from Shy Town did what? Well?
(27:47):
Then cool? Well, then everybody's gonna get another real truth
and now they're gonna see and know you. Well, Sammy,
how old are you the first time you smoked cannabis?
And where did you get it from? How was that
Lollapalooza in Chicago right before rapper Jake Cole was about
to go on stage, and somebody from my high school
had a joint and he was passing around it like
a hit. That's so cool, Jake, Jake, time for cool
(28:11):
moment that I didn't get high, but that was the
first time. Do you remember who it was? No? No, no, no,
we don' remember the friend name that hand you the
joint and just random. You're just not gonna tell you what. Yeah,
look he's good, I'm good and he did it so flawlessly.
What's the number two of the high five? What is
(28:32):
your favorite way to use or smoke cannabis? The joint?
Regularly straight joint. That's mine too, like it? Yeah, if
I'm smoke a pinner, though, I like you, dabb to
you and all that other stuff. I dum. I like
weed much better though, Okay, devons tough. That's just the hardest,
craziest place you ever use cannabis or smoked, craziest place. Uh,
(28:54):
I don't think it's it's a crazy um like idea.
It was at a concert, but specifically at the United Center.
I was watching Tyler the Creator. It's one of my
favorite artists ever, and I always go to concerts. Then
I see other people smoking. I'm like, ah, fuck, I
(29:14):
should have brought something of smoke because all these people
are having so much more fun than me. Like, next time,
I'm going to bring something. So I rolled the joint
to go to the concert. Uh. I got um general
admission tickets. I brought a friend and I lit up
literally on the court where the my favorite team ever plays,
(29:35):
the house that m J built pretty much and it's
just like smoking listening to my one of my favorite artists,
looking at the six championship banners. It was incredible, It
sounds wonderful. It was good. That's a good story. What
is your go to, Munchie after you get high Rec's pecs?
(29:56):
Just regular warm, lukewarm cold frozen? Oh yeah, can follow right? Yeah?
Yeah yeah, about to put them in the freezing You
just said that. Yeah I don't, but that's why I said,
I'm about to put You said, do you have you
have some here? That's what you're looking like. You have
piece is one of my favorite. We gotta put some
frozen ones in here. We gotta get the little ones
in there. We gotta get Question number five Sammy for Chicago.
(30:18):
What's your last day here? If no one's told you,
we really do love the man. So all your family
that's listening. You all did a great job with this
little dude right here, because not only does he have
pretty here and pretty eyes, you have a great personality
and a great attitude and respect you and we wish
you gonna make fri I'm serious. Question number five with
(30:40):
the high five with Sammy from Shy Town. If you
could smoke cannabis with anyone dad are alive, who would
it be? And why Seth? Again? Nice? That's Wondeth pork Uh.
He's one of my favorite people in general, one of
my About yourself, actually, I think it's just the Jewish vibe.
(31:00):
Maybe you're I could see a little Seth anyway. You
know it's the jew that's coming out, that's what you're saying.
But Kim as like a director, a writer. He's really funny.
I love him. He tried to did you grab his brand?
Since you have been out here though? Did you get
(31:20):
to go buy it? No? I didn't, But what I
did do? What I did do? He started saying, you
know how he's really into making as trains right, Yeah,
that's what I got. I bought one. Oh good, nice.
So you're gonna take that home? What was it called
homegrown or something like that? Homegrown house? House? Shut up?
Anything else? Anybody want to shout out by the way
(31:42):
and thank your parents for letting you come out, man,
Thank you to mom and dad and mom. I told
you to tell your mom. I pulled you aside afterwards,
and did you tell your mom that I said, I'm sorry,
didn't get a chance that I did. She's like, don't
worry about it. I know, but I want to make
sure your mom knows that I knew Lou was talking
to her, but I was working doing the show, and
he was working making sure I knew what was going
on going up. Okay, looks like we got an interns
mom in the house. I didn't know exactly what it was,
(32:04):
but I'm sitting here. Okay, he's talking to someone's mama. Well,
you know, I'll tell you what you know. I have
a question, did you grow from this experience? Absolutely? Do
you feel that? Um? You know, if we had the
same exact model right in Chicago, we dropped cannabis talking
on facility to campus out there, you think people will
(32:26):
like it. Oh, that's the place to do I mean,
here's the place to do it. But back in Chicago,
people love it. Would you work with us there? Would
you lead it? Would you put it together? I can
lead it for you. Yeah, we can get some big
people out there. You know a lot of big like influencers,
people that are actually doing cannabis. They're involved. I mean,
I don't know anybody personally, but like I know of
(32:47):
the Yeah, we don't find a space like this. We
turned out like this. I'm sure, I'm sure it can
be done. We want to We want to duplicate in
every state, you know what I mean, and now because
we're not already hurting every state, but we want to
have presence. That having a presence there is different, you know,
played any state. And it's uh, it's one of our
our near future goals. And you can be our Chicago
leader for real. And that's so funny that that just
(33:09):
came to us right now because he's gonna be there
and we already know what we're going mentally with it.
And now, oh it's good to have. You need a
good crew. We'd have to build a good crew. Yeah,
of course, but you know somebody like you can get
it because you're fast paced. You you're one of the
guys that's here that just gets hit right. So you
understood what we're doing and understood like you're part of
the tightest crew that made it happen. Great, So keep
(33:29):
doing what you're mad doing and anything that we can do.
Reference wise, you have our numbers. You're gonna stalk each
of us anyways, and your mom's gon Fine Blues number next.
If you don't have it, but you have us, and
if you don't, make sure you do. And we're here
for you no matter what. Let us know. Man, there
anything else you want to say before we get on
out of here? Um? Sure, why not? Uh? If you
like stand up comedy, you should look up Sammy's Eaglan
(33:51):
on YouTube. But I don't do stand up comedy, but
I edit videos and comedians made a documentary called Comedy
and Culture, which is like a forty minute coumentary explores
all the themes comedians talk about in their material. And
our culture is constantly evolving, so how does that reflect
and stand up? You can check it out on my
YouTube channel. What's your YouTube channel? It's s z my initials.
(34:14):
But I don't know if you can look that up
and find it. But it's a picture seth Throken and
James Franko and uh my icon for it, so you
can find you can find it there. Hopefully. I can't
wait to see your movies. You're gonna thank you. Yeah,
we're gonna have a first movie. We're gonna be there.
We're gonna help each other out. It's gonna happen for you.
Thank you. Do you have a vision? With with a vision,
(34:36):
now you can go do it? So now you gotta
just do it. Ain't nothing to it but to do it, period. Baby. Well,
